Lies in the Street

Proverbs 6:16-19 NKJV 16 These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him; 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 A false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.
Proverbs 19: 9 NKJV A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies shall perish.
Proverbs 29:12 If a ruler pays attention to lies, all his servants become wicked.

From the above wisdom, we find “the things” God the LORD hates. The proud, the lying, and shedding innocent blood are to name some. In this a false witness is revealed. And he who sows discord is found doing it among brethren.
When I was home, I paid attention to my parents especially about the “the things you can do, and the things you should never do”. One of them was lying to another was not received at our house ever. So when I left home after graduation, I was captured by the news, by journalists who gave their best journalism efforts forward to keep the brethren on the same page. Of course without God in the thinking, what prevails is the plan of mice and men.
I remember many protests of the streets at the time. I could not figure why people could not sit down and talk things over on the “thing” that was out of order. But then no one seemed to know what that “one thing” was that so many were outraged about. From my thinking and views of the protesters of the 20th century I saw many young and not so young people outraged. I wondered when they worked if they were out in the streets protesting. Did they all take their vacations at the same time?

From the decade of the 1960’s when voice was given to being justified in turmoil protesters spoke with signs in hand that they “were disillusioned” by the leaders governing the country and by  a war that seemed endless! I watched a documentary over the weekend for Memorial Day and it was of the Vietnam War and how many did not burn their draft cards but willing went to volunteer to fight for people who encountered terrors of communist hiking through their rice paddies with the agenda of taking over a land of farmers and to remove the control of that country out of their hands.
For what many saw it as money spent on a time consuming and money wasting war, actually kept a country from becoming lost forever to tyranny, hate and out of their hand.

Then came the decade of the 70’s of the 20th century and much was revealed of General Motors misrepresenting Oldsmobile cars with the Chevy engines! Yes what lies came to be revealed at that time.

During the second World War, British Prime Minister Chamberlain of England ran with the thought of their own to stop Adolph Hitler from his plans. In their estimation Sudentenland was the target area and this seemed right in their eyes. In his endeavors he had leaders to sign a pact of peace. In reality, the truth was the agreement not only put 3 million ethnic Germans into his hand (Hitler’s), but also 66 percent of Czechoslovakia’s coal, 70 percent of its iron and steel & 70 percent of its electrical power. In short the country was open to complete domination by Hitler. By September 1939 “Czechoslovakia “ no longer existed. Chamberlain might be remembered for the championing of the Munich Pact, but Chamberlain would prove to be in a serious and embarrassing situation for he thought and considered Hitler “a gentleman” proved the opposite. Hitler invaded Poland a year later. And Chamberlain had to give his nation the word: State of War!
As a leader, he allowed some things to prevail by the lies given him by another who had the desire to rule the world. Yes, war came, and Chamberlain was replaced by Winston Churchill. A man who served honorably within his nation in the most critical time of war and events one could encounter. It all stemmed from lies of one who wanted to rule by their own plan and ideas. Churchill once said, "In wartime, truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies."

From Proverbs 6 we see a picture of what the LORD hates. And if one know Him as Lord and Savior then we would understand there is to be no lying or exaggeration at all. I remember my dad speaking of crooked politicians and today we hear the same thing. If we truly expect politicians to lie then why vote for them?

We must hate lying within ourselves, our lives and thinking. Any falsehood, fraud, and dissimulation is an abomination to God. So it is that God and all good men then should hate and abhor lying. It is of the devil who is the father of lies. So for one to reside in the camp of lies shares the same father of  the lies of the devil with others when they try to commit such fraud by lying. Have we not been guilty of this in the past? But surely this is not our present weakness?

Mischief is bad enough when a child does it, but it is severe when one of mature age does it. Truth is to prevail .  Those who will try to carry out their own plans will lie, make up stories to make another lean toward their plans of ill-will. I remember the ad for Zenith televisions: “the quality goes in before the names goes on”. Then other television brands came on the scene like Magnavox, Admiral and RCA. Yes times have changed and so have the names that we see today: like Panasonic, and Sony.
If we as parents fall for lies and speak them, then the whole of the family is down the drain so to speak. We must live by truth and speak it, for anything else of the false witness is destruction. We are told to guard our hearts for out of its springs the issues of life. If we find ourselves lying before men, then are some again lying to ourselves?  For within that our name before God is not good. In order to have a good name, we, as God’s children must face our vanities. We are to stop deceiving ourselves that God will just have to take us as we are.
We must stop blaming others in our own failures, problems and shortcomings. For those within this tendency will justify what they are and what they do. Change will not occur in this way of life until each of us face up to truth that we are responsible for what we are. We bear much responsibility to becoming what we hope and that comes  in and through Jesus Christ only! Nobody can or will do it for us. We must walk that way of truth as the truthful witness!
Will you let God be Himself in YOU?

Where is that Ball?

Where is that ball?
My husband and I had some errands to run yesterday about noon. We had left a little before noon and not finding what we went after, we had to venture further down and to the east to find a store that sold this Kombucha drink. Now this drink has some health benefits, and it is wise to get that which was just created to drink. After the drive over the river, we returned down the interstate.
On arriving, put our newly purchased items in the refrigerator, I walked to the patio door to put the dog outside. There is no need to coax her for at this time, she needs to go, and just after her instant on the spot to check our the visitor to the back of the yard  she took care of her 'business'.

I watched someone in a "golf cart" drive ever so slowly by from the south to the east and he must have spotted some ball in the yard. Watching me and my reaction to his moving around the cart and into the yard, he waved and of course I just waved back. Still watching him, he leaned down to pick up this ball laying in full view. He said laughingly like: "the wild playing and swinging caused his ball to go wild and out of control"!

He  appeared anxious to leave, and I started to mention the other ball to him that I saw closer to the big tree in the yard, but like a flash he was gone. I saw him go around the hill and back onto the golf course and again he appeared to examine the ball. I am thinking the ball he really wanted was the one next to the 'willow' tree but he dare not come close or attempt to check out the other ball in the yard. I figured he was thinking about the dog and the woman who would not leave the back door so about two minutes later the man drove off in his golf cart and our dog came indoors. About 2 hours later, I see him appear, again driving slowly, like looking for "his" ball, and then he headed back towards the club house. Am thinking he was really wanting his ball and not someone else's to play with!

Our habit is to check our yard for any balls and bring them to be washed. We find people who like playing golf and will put them into egg cartons to give them balls for their use for their time out on the golf course.

We were on a walk about this morning and took the leisure time to searched among the tree seedlings and "yes, some weeds" but did not find any except for the one that the  "golf" courses lawn groomer ran over with blades and caused it to split open. It is those tiny balls that people will practice with for that specific game. Today, I am still in awe of those who play and have the expertise to get that tiny ball down a fairway to "a hole in one". I always tell my husband that golfers on this course close by to this house, do not know the amount of hole in ones they get when hitting it toward our yard. For surely you have to look hard sometimes when the grass is needing a real good cut job! And when searching, it is there that we find the little ball as a "hole in one"  shot within the tall grass!

While walking in the brisk air, and sustained wind of about thirty miles an hour this morning, I was reminded of the walk with the Lord. Surely we would like our days to hold many "hole in one shots ", to hold many rainbows with  no rain, to have many windless days to enjoy the peace and quiet! Yes, we desire to hold have many days of receiving a mystery gift from a close friend or family member who lives far away, yet our days should hold the significance that God paid a big price for each of us.

Some people will denote their day the "moment they saw their baby smile" for the first time. Some will delight to tell of their seeing their child walk or graduate college. Still others will mark the day when they married or when their children marry.

In my life, I have seen and heard the stories of many relatives and friends of my parents who served their country. My uncle, as a young man flew as a pilot in World War II. He would land on those ships with a landing runway and a short one at that.  My brother-in-law served in the military for more than one term. He also went to help those in Guatemala when they were ravaged by earthquakes. And in my life, I see someone like my husband who goes the length to see people treated fairly, not because of entitlement, but because they love God, love this nation and choose to work for this nation. And as a people to see the glory of God to fill this world with His glory.

We have to choose life in Jesus and through Him see many others come to Him for salvation. But even more we can look to life eternally with Him, where the atmosphere is filled with life and joy, where He lights our days forever with His beauty and His glory.
Those certainly without Him and remain that way will be that way forever. They will forever be in darkness, forever be in torment of "what if", forever in the atmosphere where there is no refreshing breeze or water to enjoy but only darkness and sulfur filled darkness. What is sad is we each have "the choice" to choose to make a difference like Jesus did.

We have the choice to worship Him now, we have the choice to view His likeness in the Word of the truth now and we can participate in His love, His life and His joy that is found in the peace of God now!

For many it is see how big a house can one buy now, how fancy can that new car be, how fancy can our vacation be this 'summer' (now). For me, I have joy all around me. I have the joy of seeing my husband while he is checking out a a new recipe to prepare for a meal. I have joy of seeing our grand-daughter pretend she is surfing, and yes with surfing music on..( I think is was by the Ventures) and of having joy when our dog brings us her stuff toy to us the first thing in the morning.

I have joy, not for what I have lost but for what I have gained through Jesus for it is in Him that we live and move and have our being. One scripture that stands out today is John 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Our energy for a life of devotion to Jesus comes by the Holy Spirit. In this we draw our lives from His life, from this we have energized prayer, energized worship, the partaking of the Lord's supper and see healing come to every part of our being.

Our focus is to be on Jesus, not to one man or one woman, for each of us is learning, growing and becoming what God planned. It will take all of us not just a few of us to participate in His kingdom that has come. Do the works of Jesus while there is still time while it is still day. Go through your day and tell others of those parables Jesus taught from, and pray. Ask the Lord to direct you into His perfect plan He destined for you to live.

Sometimes when we lose something, it is likely it was not needed, but that which is for life we need every moment of everyday of our lives. The Word of God is life to us,  and from that Word Jesus appeared and was crucified. In that we should no longer fear man or death. Don't be hard-headed but be willing to let go of your life to gain His. For truly God is good and His truth is everlasting. Unity is allowing Christ to be the head of our lives. Unity is not a building, a pastor, or a religious doctrine, but is Christ, the anointed One Who is head of the believer's and King of the Jews. There is one God and His Gospel that came through as GRACE in Jesus.
Ask God what He has placed in your hand for His good and then ask Him how to walk in it. For then truly joy is heard, rainbows are seen, peace resides when truth is coveted from the word of God.
Remember you can always buy more "golf balls" but will never buy your way out of hell for we all need a Savior. Amen!

Angels, What Angels?

Angels Minister to Those Who Speak God’s Word: Matthew 4:1 1 then the devil left Him and behold, angels came and ministered to Him. (also seen in Luke 4)
1.      Angels: angelos: (ang-e-loss) spiritual heavenly attendants ..see Psalm 104:4, Luke 1:19
2.      Functioning as ministers of the Lord sent to Earth
3.      They execute His purposes and make them known to men. Daniel 10:12 Gabriel appeared to Daniel “ I have come because of your words”
In our call to the kingdom that is come, we repent, and believe with a trust in God that He will fulfill His promises. Jesus came to save the “lost” and that was us, but we now must reach others understanding that by prayer and speaking God’s truth, angels are hearing and will go with that word of God and God will see it accomplished to where it is sent. Amen!

Was working on this the last few days and was surprised to see how many times angels appeared to the average person! Now some may not refer to Daniel as average, but he served in a time when he generally stood face to face with evil. Ever read about Daniel?
Now I remembered Peter being awakened by an angel and how the gates opened for him to leave the  prison behind. Now that was some interesting adventures with God indeed!

Jesus Spoke this: Matthew 26:51-56  NKJV 51 And suddenly, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword, struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear.52 But Jesus said to him, "Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.
53  "Or do you think that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?  55 In that hour said Jesus to the multitudes," How are you come out as against a robber with swords and clubs to take Me? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not seize Me.
56 " But all this was done, that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

Luke 24:18-29 NKJV 18 Then one whose name was Cleopas, answered and said unto him, " Are You the only  stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?"    19 And He said unto them, "What things?" So they said to Him, "the things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people.
20 "And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified him.  21"But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened.
22 "Yes, and certain women of our company who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us.23 When they did not find His body, they came, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that He was alive.
24 "And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him  they did not see.
25 Then He said to them, O fools, & slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken: 26 "Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into His glory?  27 And beginning at Moses & all the prophets, He expounded to them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself. 28 And they drew near to the village  where they were going and He indicated that he would have gone farther . 29 But they constrained Him, saying," Abide with us: for it is toward evening, & the day is far spent & He went in to stay with them.
1.      The righteous can see angels and can hear them
2.      These people had thoughts for Jesus whom they loved & sought to know where He was placed

From Psalm 91: 12-13, we find these verses. 12 “In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot  against a stone, 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.”

Jesus stood face to face with devil and Jesus gave the devil God's word! Luke 4:3-4 NKJV 3 & the devil said to Him, “if You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” 4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’”

Our hearts must contain the words of God. We  are to continually look up: not to the situation or the bad report, but look up and see who walked out of the tomb….the tomb of defeat to the rightful place of victory and gave us a new life in HIM!
We speak God’s word & the angels carry out what the spoken word is meant to do! Psalm 103:20 bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You ministers of His who do His pleasure.
It is angels who serve to bless God that is they worship and serve His will. They do His word on Earth as it is in Heaven. They heed Him when He speaks. And we can sound like speaking God's word over every situation, circumstance and disease!     Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? Angels revolve around the ministry of the church Jesus established. They advance His ministry on earth as it is in heaven.

If we truly understand that this is a righteous walk of faith, we remain active not only speaking God's word but expectant to see Him move through our circumstances and by change see that angel as like Daniel, Peter and Mary did!
In this work God has called us to is this: that " the priority is seeing the foundation laid "in everyday living; and within that the Lord’s blessings begin to flow in and through our lives. That foundation is with the Cornerstone Who made a new life possible for each of us who have repented of the old man and his sins and received the life everlasting, that is one filled with hope of promises that we can expect to be fulfilled in our lifetimes!
Mary said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord!" Let it be unto me according to Your word."
And the angel departed.
Peter said this: (from Acts 12:5-11) "Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people."
Daniel said this: Daniel 10: 16-18 And suddenly, one having the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips; then I opened my mouth and spoke, saying to him who stood before me, "My lord, because of the vision my sorrows have overwhelmed me, and I have retained no strength. 17 "for how can this servant of my lord walk with you, my lord? as for me, no strength remains in me now, nor is any breath left in me."
Gabriel was sent by Jesus to minister to Daniel. And Daniel experienced an overwhelming power greater than himself. He Daniel, was given encouragement and refreshing. Those if you who read about them that were Daniel hid from the presence of this. Although Daniel saw in a vision still others experience the magnitude of God's presence with the angel.

For you and I, we are to keep our communion with God just like Daniel, Mary and Peter. His strength becomes our strength. His word delivers into the positive life giving force that is for our good and not evil giving a hope in the final outcome. May Almighty God enable us to comply always to His will and to stand complete in Him. And when irritants come to irritate us, then we can stand in His peace and love and pray for His will to be done on earth, that is in us and through us for His glory, just like He did in Peter, Mary and Daniel. And Hey, if you see an angel .....well good, but if not, know they are active and on the alert to go forth in heeding God's word in your mouth....Now speak loud and clear...and your angels will go to accomplish what God planned for you! Amen!

What SNARES?

SNARES, WHAT SNARES?
In walking around the backyard I was reminded of my younger days of walking through fields of bluebonnets, sweet clover, and weeds about knee high. I was also reminded of those fields that held an abundance of fleas.
Although at that time, I did not know how to apply the word of God to stop those critters from clinging to my socks. So it was an ever so gently removing of the socks and shoes outside the house before entering into the house to wash off all that field dust and hitchhikers. Yikes!

I find places to walk today that are people friendly like level paths for the feet, dry areas and mostly grass, asphalt or concrete. I am not much of an enthusiast for finding those wild, wide open spaces where animals rule. One dog in the house is plenty. I certainly do not need to go looking for further adventures with the "wild game" of America.
Had seen this video clip on the "news" recently of this group of men who got out of an SUV to take pictures of Cheetahs.......NOW, did they not know the Cheetahs are known for how fast they can run....????
But seriously why do something like that? Are people not in their right minds when taking adventures on hikes, vacations or cruises to those far away places where there are still animals, critters to hitchhike on socks and even some things we would rather not mention here.
But I remembered today of this lady who took her family on a trip to Bermuda one summer. But of her return proved delightful to her in that she has three children and the oldest was a son, they all cooperated by the rules in place to have family time and fun together.  Her son proved vital for help on the trip and the girls were a set of twins who were about four years old at the time, laughed a lot and agreed with what mommy said!

The lady came in to our work place about a week after her trip home and told us of that trip and how the sun was great but she was not feeling too well. She had some fatigue and had slept a lot since returning home. She also happened to show us this long red mark on her right leg. It was a streak of red from the side of small toe up the side of her calf. Yikes again! I asked her if she had been to the Dr.  and she had not been but she told us that she had made an appointment for that day!

When she returned to our place of work, she told us of her report and she had been snared by some parasite from the sandy beaches of that region. Although they were told to wear sandals especially on the beaches and when showering in those shower stalls next to the ocean, still she had contracted a hiker who hitched all the way back to Washington State.
She had to take medicine for parasites and recovered from her ordeal, she though shared that she thought she would take a different kind of trip the next time.

Snares?  Proverbs 22:5 Amplified Bible 5 Thorns and snares are in the way of the obstinate and willful; he who guards himself will be far from them.

Thought of this and wondered if the people who have resorts to visit really give the proper information to those traveling abroad to see their vacation land? For those who do not tell truth to those coming to the "resort" will certainly encounter some thorns and snares.
For people who will not operate in truth will lead others into certain dangers. If a full shoe was needed to cover the entire foot instead of some a sling sandal, maybe the hitcher would not have caught a ride with this woman to her home.
Reflecting on her time there, she was glad or happy for some real time "with her children" and enjoy some summer sun, but to be sick on returning to her home was not in her plans at all!  For this lady came home with something "that troubled" her body and could have caused some serious damage to her body.

I wonder today how many go around with parasites from other countries and regions and never know they have them!
We must know truth and be given to hearing truth and what lies outside the region of which we live. For certain travel is necessary at times when some family member is ill or one just wants to get out and see some scenery other than down the I-5 corridor in the northwest.

Not sure this lady took any more adventures outside the mainland, but I know I would check out which "critters" live in that region of the world and what chances are they likely to catch a ride of a human type transport.
wall,
People may lie, and lie to their advantage, but God will never lie to us. He gives us His wisdom that speaks only truth to us. Lying is wicked (Psalm 109:2 and Proverbs 13:5) and an abomination to the Lord (Proverbs 12:22). And we know that all lies originate from the devil who is the father of lies. John 8:44

God is to be our wall. He puts a wall around His people to keep Satan at bay. He did that in the example of Job. Satan complained, “have you not made a hedge [wall] around him, around his household and around all that he has on every side? (Job 1:10) It was only when God removed that wall that Satan could attack Job. And we see what Satan did to Job.
We each have the personal work of rebuilding the “wall”. It is one who seeks to have a strong relationship with God, and then see that it is He Who provides the defenses for us and our loved ones. Yes God is our WALL!

Before traveling this summer be sure to find out all the necessary information to the place you decide to visit. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what may be necessary information the travel people forgot to tell you and what you really need to know about. And ask questions about the region or place you have chosen to travel.
God desires us to wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Enjoy the warm summer breezes, the scent of honeysuckle and watch in the evening hours for those lightning bugs and be reminded that God lights our way we when ask Him to light our way and enjoy His goodness that he has for you and me!

Room Service Please

Room Service Please
In my youth I would not have asked for room service to the bedroom I shared with my sister! Dishes and glassware was not permitted in those areas of the home of which we lived. If you drank something like coffee or iced tea, it was in the dining area or outside!
I am in maybe 'shock' of the attitude some have coming from other countries asking for their care, their children's care and a place to live. To me that would be same as going to the Waldorf Astoria and telling them to give me a room with room service and that I will have that room for an unlimited amount of time for free!

Demanding "room service" is when you have paid a price for the room in my case, my parents bought the house, so I could not declare a demand on......well, anything really! They had bought my clothes and even the luggage to pack when going to Grandms's house for a visit. They bought the car and a pickup used for farm work. They also paid for my lunches at school, the new shoes on feet and the bed I slept in. My husband and I had watched One America News this morning and heard of the demand by people declaring their rights to come into this nation and it was expected that the US would take care of all their needs including that of their children. What?

Within the book of Luke of the New Testament, we find the birth of Christ Jesus. In this writing, we are told it was a time when Caesar Augustus gave a decree that all the world should be registered. (Luke 2:1) So all had gone out to be registered, everyone to their own city.
Joseph took Mary his wife with him to the city of David which is called Bethlehem. In Luke 2 and verse 7 she brought forth her firstborn Son and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
(she did not demand medical care)

At this time of Jesus Christ's birth, Herod had heard from the wise men of the East of a coming king. Herod heard of the Star that led them to the place of His birth and calling Him the King of the Jews, Herod was troubled as well as was those of the city of Jerusalem.  Now when these wise men showed up was about two years from Jesus' birth.  And after the visit from the wise men, Joseph had a dream warning him to go to Egypt.
Matthew 2:13-15 NKJV Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, "Arise, take the young child and His mother, flee to Egypt and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him." 14 When the arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt.15 and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, "Out of Egypt I called My Son."

Matthew 2:19-23 NKJV 19 Now when Herod was dead, behold an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 saying, "Arise take the young child and His mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young Child's life are dead." 21 Then he arose, took the young Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel. 22 but when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea instead of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being warned by God in a dream, he turned aside into the region of Galilee. 23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, "he shall be called a Nazarene."

No where do you see anyone making a demand on a place to live, a handout or otherwise?  Joseph and Mary knew their responsibility. Their family responsibilities were not on anyone else. They did not flaunt their Child to others. They had a relationship with God and God directed their steps!
So too, God will direct our steps. Giving Him our time throughout the day, from the early morning light to the dim light of night, we should rally around Him, His word and find the direction He is pointing us toward for tomorrow. But today many just throw caution to the wind, take up their small ones and head out not knowing anything!  One should not go willy-nilly into the world. Haphazard living is dangerous for anyone!
Today is nothing like say it was some forty years ago. It is certainly a far cry from the days of seeing families growing together, spending quality time together, and even attend church together. In this is a willingness of heart to grow as a family, to know each member of the family and then have a willingness to care for them as parents.
No, today people blame prosecution and affliction as problems. They blame absentee fathers, absentee mothers and others so as to take responsibility for their lives. And I know in some third world countries there is no active truth or right for those living there. But praying to the One true God always works for those who believe, that is have faith in the One true God and expect an answer from Him. Ask any missionary who has gone overseas of the prosecution and the malice they faced. Did not our Savior Jesus Christ also face such malice and affliction even on the day of the Cross and crucifixion?
There are many today looking for room service!

They are those raised without both parents and without the firm teaching of the Father figure, the child succumbs to the ways of the world. Making demands helps no one.
Colossians 3:20 Children obey your parents in all things, for this is welling pleasing to the Lord. 21 Fathers do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged. NKJV
Proverbs 13:1 A wise son hears his father's instructions; but scorner hears not rebuke.
Proverbs 1:10;15-16  NKJV 10 My son, if sinners entice you, Do not consent. 15 My son, do not walk in the way with them, keep your foot from their path. 16 For their feet run to evil, and they make hast to shed blood.
Proverbs 22:24-25 NKJV 24 Make no friendship with an angry man, and with a furious man do not go, 25 Lest you learn his ways, and set a snare for your soul.

Joseph in regard to his family reverenced God to hold his family together and understand God was watching for the care of the Christ child to come to growth and leadership in His adult years. It was not by demanding, but was by obeying God and His truths.
Let us understand this: that through skillful and godly wisdom is a home built and that of our lives and that of our family. We are to established from the babe to the young adult in the wisdom and sound foundation of God. By knowledge, will all the chambers of its every area be filled with all precious and pleasant riches----great priceless treasure. (That means our hearts revealed in our lives)
The house of the uncompromisingly righteous shall stand. Prosperity and welfare are established in those committed to God and His favor. In the fear of the Lord is the home securely built. founded on a rock of revelation knowledge of the Word of God, Jesus is our Cornerstone. Jesus is Lord over our hearts, our marriage and our family. In this home, we are love revealed. For in the God kind of love we dwell in peace. Our home is deposited into the charge of Almighty God entrusted into His care and protection.
For me and my house we shall serve the Lord!

We must see the boundaries set for ourselves, our families and homes. The boundary must be set for those who reverence God, a nation under God ........and for liberty and justice that is of
God and from God. It is not by demands for our way, being self absorbed is one who hates others for who they are and for what they have. Self rule is a bad thing.  Self rule is the rule outside of God and one which affects our spiritual walk of faith in Him. It will also affect the moral, social and physical walk as well!
If we really know the  narrow path has a"narrow gate" then we will be those with the "violent determination" to continue in the faith walk. It is being determined to not allow the flesh creature to lust but to stay within the parameters of God's word for us. In His provision for safety, we see growth revealed in a disciplined life. It is of a ruler-ship of ONE RULE and that is under God's rule and His management.

Within that we take our place, know our steps are secure and ordered in peace where justice from God reigns. Amen.
