What Great Love

My sister had sent me this video that was recorded in that which was Sodom and
Gomorrah. It was where the five cities were to be destroyed. ( but Lot had to have a city to run to for refuge, so only four were rained on by fire of an erupting volcano which included brimestone containing sulfur)  In this video two gentlemen were looking for those sulfur balls that had rained down on the wickedness of the people of that time.  And as this man walked through and showed the formations of a former city that housed many people, the one thought I had was what a terrible way to die and yet they died according to how they had lived. Perversion will bring that which occurs suddenly, without any notice that death is on the pathway and God never wanted that for those He created! He continued to look for "that sulfur ball" and when found, it spoke of lighting it up. It was turning from an ash white to a yellow color instantly and then it started to expand with the gas and heat. It expanded like a black sheet over the ground. Smoke poured from the top of the mound of this stone and when finished....it was a flat black cover over the ground where it was a stone before.

I like history! I like knowing the history of our nation and the state of which we live. I loved the history of the state I was born in within this nation of America. And I know that is why I love the history God gives to us to know the greatest love ever found within the pages He presented to us to know. But there are those who want to exploit history, change it, cancel it and make something else up! But that is wrong!

The Bible reveals to us the lineage of Jesus in the book of Matthew. Matthew 1: 1 The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:
Then it continues with the "begots"!
Matthew 1:15-17 Eliud begot Eleazar, Eleazar begot Matthan, and Matthan begot Jacob. 16 And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ. 17 So all the generations, from David until the captivity in Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the captivity in Babylon until the Christ are fourteen generations.

The history given through the Old Testament gives detail to those of a nation that would at times love God and other times choose to do their own thing! There is even given some detail of those who knew God was with Israel and how they aligned themselves to do what God asked them to do for that nation. Hey, they wanted to live and so they did all to see God had His way in them. ( Genesis 20 Abraham lied about Sara being his sister) ( Genesis 26 Isaac lied about Rebekah being his sister),

Deuteronomy 7:7-8 — "The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt."

Like Israel, God has brought us out of bondage! He has brought us into life in His Son!

John 14:31 — "But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do."

Jesus displayed His love for the Father by His obedience to Him.

Romans 5:5, 8 — Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

We have the Holy Spirit in us. His golden scepter is always extended to us and as the believer we can rejoice in whatever circumstance nor afflictions for the Father is with us. It is God's love that assures us by the Holy Spirit ministry within our hearts!

Romans 8:35, 39 — Who shall separate us from the love of God? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [Neither] height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We are victorious! We are victorious not by ability but because God loved us! Accusers may be many but God's verdict is the final one! Nothing separates us from Him and His love for us!

1 John 4:8,16 — He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God abides in him, and who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

Not all love is of God nor has anything to do with God. Love is the attribute of God. In the relationship with Him, knowing Him and hearing Him speak appears in those who share His passions and His heart. That is God's love! It is not taking the bandwagon with a thousand others to feed people. It is hearing God's heart how those may reached for His glory and not ours!!!

Certainly the Lord has brought us out with a mighty hand. I know not of your life but I certainly had attitude that was wrong most of the time when I was growing up! And yes, my mother had me and my sister in church, Sunday School and every other kind of school as well. And I have also related there was three times my mouth got washed out with Lava soap. Yuck! And no I was not cursing, it was more like a " smart attitude" thing which is not good.  In that I am thankful for a God who loved me and sent the son of His love in ransom for my life and for those of my family. He brought us out of bondage and how He did it, was that which revealed a great love that Jesus spoke about continually while He walked on earth of His father!
You and I have been given the Holy Spirit who daily reveals that love for us. Who shall separate us from the love of God? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution or famine, or nakedness or peril or sword? [ Neither] height nor depth nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Jesus told us in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father expect through Me."
We must know Jesus to know God the Father. When we know God sent His son for us then we will certainly remember that Jesus spoke of the Father as Jesus obeyed the Father. Jesus was instant in obedience and His dependence was on the Father. In John 14:7 If you had known Me, you would  have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.
Jesus spoke in John 14:10 "The words that I speak to you,I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. 12 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
What great love displayed in the life of Jesus! What great love the Father displayed by sending His son for us that we would receive Him as Lord and Savior and become Jesus' hands to reach others. To become the born again for God's glory and display that which Jesus presented to us while He walked with His disciples is a miraculous thing indeed! Just for a moment think where you were thirty or forty years ago, and have we not changed for His glory?

Are our lives worthy of that crucified Jesus? Are we those who know the great price given for us? Do we know the love of the Father who loves us even in our sinful nature but gives grace to those who will receive it? Yet there are those who are refusing that great love! There are those revealing names and saying the 'name' but it is not the right name that should be spoken: Acts 4:11-12 This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone. 12 Nor is there salvation in any other for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
You cannot get to the Father by saying many hail Mary's. You only get to the Father through Jesus Christ. It is possible that Israel might have stayed in Egypt without the oppression. Yet, the cries of the people were heard and God chose  Moses, a Jew, to bring them out oppression. Moses, raised by Egyptians, became powerful in his speech and  yes in his actions. God was with him. ( Exodus 3:1- Exodus 4:17; 5-12) In Acts 7, it is Stephen who presents the picture of Moses and Jesus. He gives detail to Israel rejecting Moses ( Acts 7:33-40) but it was God Himself who affirmed Moses and the same for Jesus. Jesus came in powerful ways, speaking powerfully and highly visible in the affirming the Father. Yes, What great LOVE!

This love displays wonder! It displays nothing I had ever seen before! We had never met, yet He died for me. And when I became aware of Him, yes awakened to Him and His grace, my life is forever changed. I cannot turn back to what was before. I must be about His business, what about you?
You and I have this opportunity to speak out about His great love. We have been given an open door to display His truth and will we in this hour of chaos? For I am not a professional business person, but I do have that ability within me that has come from God. It is a spiritual power and ability to present the Gospel as Jesus did. It is freedom in speech with no opinions. It is truth of the divine of God that His love can flow through us when we willingly accept His great love and even step out to further display it to others. Do we exhibit Him and His love our 'smart self'?
Jesus influenced others in that love. He called out those needing healing: like Matthew 12:13 where there was healing on the Sabbath. Matthew 12:10-14 NKJV And  behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. And they asked Him, saying, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?"---that they might accuse Him. 11 Then He said to them, "What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out?" 12 " Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath." 13 The He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. 14 Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him how they might destroy Him.
This reveals those who plot against "love". They plot to destroy. But Matthew continues in verses 15-21 of chapter 12 that Jesus is the fulfillment. (seen in Isaiah 42:1-4) Jesus is God's Son/ God's Servant. He is chosen and loved by God. He is obedient and He bears God's Spirit. He will rule over a universal kingdom. He is the humble. He brings the Gentiles into His redemptive plan!
Jesus carried the Cross that would lift Him high above the crowd. They saw it as "shame" and He saw it as a joy in His heart!  Hebrews 12:2 ...looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become wary and discouraged in your souls.
He was delighted to regain His place with His Father in heaven. He set everything in place so that we could run this race and endure! He taught us that the Father of spirits does not discipline to harm but to bless those who follow Him, who fellowship with Him in His holiness to receive His peace and His righteousness.

In Romans 8:35-39 there are 17 things that are unable to separate us from the love of Christ. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation (1), or distress (2), or persecution (3), or famine (4), or nakedness (5), or peril (6), or sword (7)? 36 Just as it is written, “For Thy sake we are being put to death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death (8), nor life (9), nor angels (10), nor principalities (11), nor things present (12), nor things to come (13), nor powers (14), 39 nor height (15), nor depth (16), nor any other created thing (17), shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Love is the pathway to victory and victory is not even possible without the love of God. Take a look around you, are you victorious today?

Angel, Altar and Counting Men

Had stopped for a few minutes on Saturday to hear a teaching that was coming on. But there was a guest 'pastor' teaching instead. Was intent to stop and rest, for the day was busy with things to be done and trying to keep up with things my husband wanted to get done. And if I am not careful about it, I can find an excuse to continue later. The Belmont Stake's was coming on at noon and I love horses and watching them run and that gives my husband and myself time to watch something we enjoy watching together.  We had to leave room for the running of those "stakes"! No, we are not gamblers, but we can recognize a good horse and certainly if they give details on them, you can see which ones might stand taller and stronger than the rest in run for the triple crown!
But back to the teaching: this pastor was giving was about King David. And I love many of the examples given us in his life and by them, we can see a king who failed many times, but always chose to repent quickly. In my hearing, this pastor as he started giving of what is found in 2 Samuel 24, this specific teaching is of David taking the census of Israel and Judah. This pastor told of the plague and how people were dying, but he did not say that David saw what was happening nor why they should not have been counting the people!
He was using the "plague" as a direct thing in the basis of his teaching in regard to what encountered in the last few months here in the U.S.!

2 Samuel 24:1 Again the anger of the LORD was aroused against Israel, and He moved David against them to say, "Go number Israel and Judah. 2 so the king said to Joab the commander of the army who was with him. Now go throughout all the tribes of the Israel from Dan to Beersheba, and count the people that I may know the number of the people."
2 Samuel 24:3 And Joab said to the king, "Now may the LORD your God add to the people a hundred times more than there are, and may the eyes of my lord the king see it. But why does my lord the king desire this thing?" 4 Nevertheless the king's word prevailed against Joab and against the captains of the army.

2 Samuel 24: 4 Therefore Joab and the captains of the army went out from the presence of the king to count the people of Israel. 5 And they crossed over the Jordan and camped in Aroer, on the right side of the town which is in the midst of the ravine of Gad, and toward Jazer. 6 Then they came to Gilead and to the land of Tahtim Hodshi; they came to Dan Jaan and around to Sidon; 7 and they came to the stronghold of Tyre and to all the cities of the Hivites and the Canaanites. Then they went out to South Judah as far as Beersheba. 8 So when they had gone through all the land, they came to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days. 9 Then Joab gave the sum of the number of the people to the king. And there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men who drew the sword, and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men.

2 Samuel  24: 10 And David's heart condemned him after he had numbered the people. So David said to the LORD, I have sinned greatly in what I have done; but now, I pray, O LORD, take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have done very foolishly." 11 Now when David arose in the morning, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Gad, David's seer, saying, 12 "Go tell David, 'Thus says the LORD, "I offer you three things; choose one of them for yourself, that I may do it to you.'" 13 So Gad came to David and told him; and he said to him, "shall seven years of famine come to you in your land? Or shall you flee three months before your enemies, while they pursue you? Or shall there be three days of plague in your land? Now consider and see what answer I should take back to Him who sent me."

2 Samuel 24: 14 And David said to Gad, "I am in great distress. Please let us fall into the hand of the LORD, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man." 15 So the LORD sent a plague upon Israel from the morning till the appointed time. From Dan to Beersheba seventy thousand men of the people died. 16 And when the angel stretched out His hand over Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD relented from the destruction, and said to the angel who was destroying the people, "It is enough; now restrain your hand." And the angel of the LORD was by the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite. 17 Then David spoke to the LORD when he saw the angel who was striking the people, and said, "Surely I have sinned and I have done wickedly; but these sheep, what have they done? Let Your hand, I pray be against me and against my father's house."

It is from 2 Samuel 24:1 we see David is enticed to count the people, yet in this act, it appears that David was putting his trust in his men and not by faith in God the LORD. And it is Joab who shows concern of counting the men seen in verse 3.
But he tried to hide that within the blessings he spoke to David. And verse 4 reveals a king determined to get the number of the men in Israel and Judah!
Yes, it was God Who desired to see if David would count the men or trust HIM!

It is Gad the prophet or seer who came to tell David what the LORD spoke to him. David had erred greatly. His strength was not in the men but in God who kept watch over Israel and the king, David! In the three things the LORD spoke, He asked if David wanted famine and yet famine was on the land when he became king after the death of Saul. It is mentioned in 2 Samuel 21: 1 "It is because of Saul and his bloodthirsty house, because he killed the Gibeonites."
The other things given by the LORD for king David were these: shall you flee three months before your enemies, while they pursue you? Or shall there be three days of plague in your land?

David would rather fall into the hands of God than into the hands of men. So rather than having a military defeat, David chose the plague. But this plague was not disease nor virus and the teaching I heard was giving heed to that of a "virus". No this plague was caused by disobedience and that observed, yes seen, was people dying....and David saw, the angel with the stretched out hand to destroy. Disobedience has a high cost and it will include people who are with you as in family, business or other! Certainly we have seen in this which has passed by!
In 2 Samuel 24:15 the appointed time has the meaning it was the third day and one more act of destruction was to be seen.
So David built an ark where God the LORD showed mercy! And He, God did not destroy Jerusalem. David built that which would bring praise and glory to God!

2 Samuel 24:18 And Gad came that day to David and said to him, "Go up, erect an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of  Araunah the Jebusite." 19 So David, according to the word of Gad, went up as the LORD commanded. 20 Now Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming toward him. So Araunah went out and bowed before the king with his face to the ground. 21 Then Araunah said, "Why has my lord the king come to his servant?" And David said, "To buy the threshing floor from you, to build an altar to the LORD, that the plague may be withdrawn from the people." 22 Now Araunah said to David. "Let my lord the king take and offer up whatever seems good to him. Look here are oxen for burnt sacrifice and threshing implements and the yokes of the oxen for wood. 23 All these, O king,  Araunah has given to the king." And Araunah said to the king, " May the LORD your God accept you." 24 Then the king said to Araunah, "No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God with that which costs me nothing." So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
25 And David built there an altar to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD heeded the prayers for the land and the plague was withdrawn from the land.

How can we expect God's strength if we do not embrace His standards? Counting his men would not change anything. Great or few, God works through those willing to be used for His glory and not man's glory! From verse 25, the LORD heeded the prayers for the land and the plague was withdrawn from the land. God hears prayers when we truly humble ourselves before Him!

In the passage given in Chapter 24, the word "plague" here has the meaning of that which brings "defeat". When a people are disobedient, things like this plague appear. They can be brought on by others who choose to bring destruction to others. May we not be like that. May we be forthright and honorable to give truth and not by trying to manipulate others to sell some book or article we might have. May we not be those who try to give a false narrative that brings a destruction to the freedom of a nation!

Real repentance brings one to build an altar of worship where not a 12-member band is heard but your single voice. It is where the heart humbles before a mighty God to show reverence for who He is! It is God who is to be glorified and as we do, that which is before us will become level as a flat plain.
Commitments are important. Our first is to almighty God, where His mercy is received, and His faithfulness is always seen. It is where His standards are viewed and confessed daily putting them into the treasure of our heart.

Let's respond to giving truth of God's word to another that delivers them to be free in Him and not in the freedom of that book you might be trying to sell. Truly God knows the hearts of men and He will see.
Certainly David's eyes were open to seeing in the spiritual and his eyes viewed the "destroying" angel. I pray our eyes are open to see and our hears to hear so that we will not be taken down that path which leads to destruction! May our standards be high in Him who set them in place as boundaries for our safety. May we have them stored in our hearts so that when an invasion might appear, we are ready with the word that allows His strength to rule in the situation and not our dependence on other men!

Things ARE About to Change

Ezekiel 33:30-33 NKJV  30 "As for you, son of man, the children of your people are talking about you beside the walls and in the doors of the houses; and they speak to one another, everyone saying to his brother, "Please come and hear what the word is that comes from the LORD." 31  So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain. 32 Indeed you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they do not do them. 33  And when this comes to pass "surely it will come" then they will know that a prophet has been among them."

The prophet here gives warning. Ezekiel is compared to that of the "watchman". If he is warning them faithfully as God speaks, but they do not hear, then they will be responsible for their own destruction. But if he fails to warn them, and they perish, God will require their blood at the watchman's hand.

Here the prophet is seen as one who has the pleasant voice....... They think on the lovely song, hear the words and do not do them.......  He is the popular guy, they come and sit and then they leave with agenda on their minds.

In our recent county newspaper, I noticed a picture of three ladies in their early twenties who were raising a glass to cheer or toast one another, and not one had on a mask beneath their chin, nor social distancing was seen among them within that picture. Also they were far from another state they lived, where others within that state are still shuttered and these three seemed to be set on a good time.

Yes, this world is in chaos. Yes, there are still some who are still in "that lock down mode" within their state at home, while others, are in the streets with full masks on and other things as being armed, and still others, well they are going after the good time taking that road trip to who knows where!

These were most likely warned and probably by not only the President of this nation, but by the governor of the state they live in and most likely by their mayor of their city or town of which they live. Still we know if we are in the care of God, He directs our steps. The concern is more about the word of God than any virus thing. And as that believer, to whom shall we witness? Will a neighbor, a fellow worker, a relative or even a friend be on our list to witness to, knowing people should be warned of what lies ahead beyond this moment and this hour?

There are many people who love to hear their 'pastor' speak, for he makes them laugh and entertains them each week. Still how more important is God's word that it be given when a warning is in it? The intent should be to obey it when it has been given to us. Have we obeyed when God gave us a command? What about the last teaching we heard?

W We should be about checking our hearts. And in doing that, are we receptive to God's voice and obeying that word promptly! In the community we live, there is a sign at the entrance into this place that speaks of the wanderer. It mentions about whoever has wandered here is expected to wander back here at some point in time, and that we will be here to welcome them 'back'. When I see that sign I always think of the lost sheep and how the Shepherd is gathering those sheep to Himself.

This year has been certainly different from the previous years. And it continues to change, from a high to a complete low only to rise to another high. Some people lost hope when they lost their businesses due to a virus gone wild. Others, well they chose to enslave themselves to being unemployed to earn that check to just stay at home and for others, well they are out there living. They are working at overcoming depression and despair. They are gathering up their lives to live again, to see another sunrise, to see their child or children return to school, to see what the Lord will do in this day and hour in them and through them for His glory!

U   Yes, the streets are not silent, but neither are we who choose to remain within God and His guidance. Our Hope is in Jesus Christ. We pray for those who walk the streets to know Jesus as we do. We pray they hear and see with new eyes and a new heart to receive life in Jesus and come to understand the almighty God of creation is not harsh nor is He the unloving God but a beautiful, loving Shepherd who loves and guides those who come to Him in their brokenness and despair. Repentance is a great step forward for the man or woman to make in coming to Him, drawing near to His love where each can reside in His grace.

For you and I, well we know Jesus, we call God our Abba Father and as those sons our heart's desire is what He desires: that people will turn from rebellion and be turned to know God willingly. Many people seem to voice they have the answer, but I only know of ONE who does have the answer and it is God Himself. It is only when we drink from His living water will we never thirst again. May we call the streets of our community peace. May we call the highway that leads here be called 'journey' and that people will journey through life knowing God the Father, and Jesus as Lord. We call our state united with God! We call our nation one under God where God has the rule and He reigns as He has always intended.

....Wherever you live, whatever country....name your streets. Make sure you state one street or highway 'harmony' where all live in harmony to live together as a nation that God surely set in place to have you alive for this day. You have a voice to witness life to others. Start by calling your home peace. Call your children blessed and taught of the Lord. Call your schools those which give truth and not fallacies nor fairy tales. Call your land the land of the living, established for the glory to give God all the praise for it is in Him that we live, move and have our being.

We have gained Jesus and in Him we lose nothing. We expect the country we live in, to live for God and for Him to be praised from the highest mountains, where people see and hear and obey His given command from that word of truth that is taught. It is a place where God has set up His kingdom, first in you and me and then as that witness to others, to give warning....something is about to happen....."are you ready ....when the ground shakes, are you ready when the sky grows dark....are you ready when the lights go out?"

For many live to pamper themselves, they are the selfish, they loll in idleness not considering that things are constantly changing, and what was 'normal' no longer exists, but what does still exist is God's love! For He meant business when He sent His Son....and now He expects us to mean business that His normal is that we warn them..."things are about to change".....!!!

Wasps, Heat, and Other Things

Was doing some work outside with my husband about mid morning yesterday! It was a cloudy day and cool, so mowing the grass was a delight! It helps keep one trim and strengthens those upper arms and shoulders besides keeping your core strengthened. And while enjoying the cool of the morning, I took notice of the hanging bait cylinder in one tree. It is a yellow colored cone designed to draw those pesky wasps away from the back door and patio area of the house and yard. And after a trip down one side of the lawn and around the tree, I made another cut closer to the tree and slowed to view this hanging " tomb " for stinging insects! It was interesting to note that those insects that had come into that cone in the last day or two had eaten those that were already dead.  Yes, at the base of the cone-shaped object there laid row upon row of insect body parts.

Now I want to point out here that if the morning had been hot with a blazing bright sun, and sweat appearing on the brow I might have missed seeing that display of brutality upon the other. Because if one is really suffering to cut the grass in hot temps. you might not be taking in the beauty of the day and only spend time noticing what you missed in that last swath of cutting since you are only viewing the ground area!

Was praying as I walked along with the mower. Was trying to hear God above the noise of the mower but did not have to slap at mosquitoes  or the such while I took each cut nearer to the completed goal of a groomed lawn. No yesterday was quieter where insects were concerned, but the week before I noted there were some out to get me and my ankles showed the marks of their piercings by the end of that work time outside.

But let's get to the point here: are people like those insects? Yikes! Is it possible to eat others and take away lives by bitterness when confined by yellow-coned objects and no freedom is found? Scripture makes it clear that God sent peace on earth! He sent His Son and we say His name: Jesus! For in Him is only life and peace found!
So if insects can get rattled when trapped within a small space, what happens when man is sent into a small space to hunker down for say a "flu-type" illness for how many months? What happens when those you love can not be touched by your hand or a pat on the back? What happens when you do not have time to be with them but only by Skype or the such where you try to be on your best behavior, pushing back tears or trying to force that smile so others think you are fine? I have seen these things appear on those people in those stories related on one television viewing of those in lock-down alley!
But God sent His Son. I say His NAME: JESUS! He is REDEEMER of the world. But if people do not see Him nor hear Him then they are set for that which is "lost forever".  He came to set captives free.

The insect world is amazing to me and even more so are the areas like the "marsh" areas, and the " prairies of the this nation that runs hundreds of miles through a few states like Wyoming and eastern S. Dakota, then southward through one end of Nebraska. And within this region is where certain grasses grow, where Buffalo roam grazing on these grasses. It is where prairie dogs live and build those security places for themselves in the ground, where also snakes can move to when hunting out one of those plump little prairie dogs to eat. It is place where certain birds live among the buffalo and move along with them as the graze their way around the land. It is where foxes, and certain rabbits make their home. And what I found out was this world of dry grounds, and prairie grasses provides safety to many creatures that God thought of and not us! Such a world so planned and beautifully detailed for animals to live, to eat, and yes, to survive in that dryness of the prairie and then I wonder why people cannot see what He has planned for them, each man and woman, to enjoy in the here and now!

No, we can see people acting with resistant to the things of God and even question if He exists! But He surely exits, and He is surely alive. In those documentaries I have seen of late, they all point to the creature living on the prairie has an agenda to be alive at the end of that day. And we can see that today, as people move from flu scares to riots in streets and hurricanes rushing in to drown a society. Still God is certainly alive and are we stopping to notice His presence?

If we would take a moment and look into that which Jesus brought from heaven, is this: "he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. ( Matthew 16:24) Following Jesus certainly brings some things to mind quickly in that one must surrender to Him and His way of doing things! If we are struggling to give up our plans for His, why are we doing that ? He is life everlasting and He is peace!

Are we desiring our own agendas? Are we looking for platforms in using someone's demise to use for ourselves and our own agenda?
What I mentioned earlier in this writing, that when I was finding yard work pleasing, mowing the grass without excess heat, I was motivated beyond the work itself and see what was going on around me and mine. When taking my mind off the work itself I was free to enjoy the moment I was in.
In our Christian faith we believe God is one! We believe Him the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe what is given that Jesus is the only way to the Father.  We live by faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior and we believe we will be with Him forever. He has gone to prepare a place for those who believe. ( John 14:1-6)

When you consider say Hinduism: it has two known non-negotiable beliefs: that is karma and reincarnation. They will not stray from that belief. Islam believes that Mohammad is the last and final prophet. They believe that their Quran is the perfect revelation given. To deny those two precise points, one has denied Islam.

My husband and I have been watching at times some adventure trips of an archaeologist who travels around the world looking for that which is a part of this mystery earth. He has looked for the ark, to looking for Yeti, searched the areas where the dead sea scrolls were discovered and finding gold from treasures of the early Spaniard explorers.
In this I was thinking of the last few days of Moses who had tried to relieve the oppression of the Israelites on his own strength  and nothing happened. He had this pull toward his people the Hebrews yet, he had been raised as an Egyptian.  And although well educated and trained to live the life he would live, he still had the dress of an Egyptian,  and he wore the classic coloring on the face and the jewelry to match that lifestyle.

There was some changes that had to occur for Moses. And like him, we too can run headlong into the thing we think God is allowing but the time is not right nor is He with you in it. God was tuned into what He desired for Moses to complete. That was to lead a million or so people out of the hand of an Egyptian Pharaoh.  Was Moses sincere in what he believed? Yes, but no matter how sincere the person, anything outside the will of God is futile!
It amazes me today to see so many desiring to help a race of people which is all wonderful. But the best place to start is at the beginning. In the beginning God....created the heavens and the earth. And another place is to find where one's ethnic group has been in history is of your nation. For where we live in America it is found in the Wallbuilders by David Barton.

We certainly need to see where we have come from to know where we are going. If you asked citizens of this nation how many of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were slave owners....you might hear all fifty-six of them. But in truth only one: Thomas Jefferson was a slave owner. The others all held the black man free to live as others in freedom.
If you asked someone within this nation of America, how many black leaders were with Washington in the boat when he crossed the river at winter time, in the depths of winter, cold, and ice....to battle?  You might hear none! Yet at the front of that boat were two military leaders who were men of color and who served for some seven years alongside Washington himself. Again, go check this out in Wallbuilders by David Barton!

We must be in the will of God for in that we work together to build something God has in His plan. It does not matter if you think you have a noble or the pure heart but that the real success comes from God and when the enemy does not want you to know your true heritage you are doomed.

Yes, in remembering Moses and his willing to help God....he should have waited for God. And God's will for Moses came some forty years later! So what had occurred in that time period for Moses?  Well, he became the truly humbled and converted. He had given himself to God to such an extent that he was almost afraid to move, and God had to bring him back a way to restore some of his initiative. However, now that initiative would be used in harmony with a strong relationship with Him. Since Moses truly had the fear of God, he took God into account in every action. That is what the fear of God does to a person: It makes a person consider God and His desires in everything that he does.

Yes, there are many people who have strong beliefs. They believe in reincarnation and karma. They are those who believe Mohammad is the last and the final prophet. Others believe Jesus and satan are somehow related. And still others believe they cannot tell you about someone who is going through a situation for in that you the person might cause them harm by words spoken over them. A belief must not only be strong but it must be right. It is proved right in the process of living. It is where righteous actions will produce that godly fruit. This is why Jesus said, "You will know them by their fruits. " (Matthew 7:16) It is in this that the fruit of a person's life will reveal what that person believes. Because those in God will reveal God-ordered actions and one will not turn to the right nor to the left to change them.

Yet, there exist Christians who choose lie about a health condition of a loved one. Instead of denying that ugly thing that has appeared in that loved one, they would rather lie, turn from God, choose that which is of the enemy and bring destruction on their heads.

It is God Who desires us to come into the capacity He created to not only release but to also demonstrate the levels of His kingdom power and authority. But many belief systems in the Christian must become to that upgrade in Him! Is our security in trying to protect we four and no more? Are we coming into an "unbelief' that revels that we unwilling to let go of that security package we have held for so long? I have seen it in so many families the last ten years. Someone is going through something, and they hide it. They say all is good and then you find out these folks were seriously ill to the point of dying. Lying to protect something going on with a family member, the loving member tries to throw sand on it and think it is covered like Moses did! Nothing stays covered if you are lying about something as to a health issue. Why put yourself in a box and be like that wasp who will eat others like him only to die like he did!

We had a small poodle many years ago that she thought she could bury her dog treat in our daughter's boot. And all "the poodle" had was carpet and no dirt,  and she would scratch the carpet with her small paw, and push that same carpet using her nose to cover the treat. YEAH, that did not work at all!

I certainly will not encounter what the wasp encounters when entering a yellow-colored cone shaped object beckoning exploration. I will certainly not share the life experiences that say my neighbors have next door nor will have have the same life experiences my sister and brother-in-law have encountered.

Except one thing like the Eagle Creek Fire of 2017, the people of this small community and many others like this one would relate to it when seeing the hills on fire when someone decided to throw live fireworks on dry brush. Yeah stupid is as stupid does!  But one thing we all must take note in, as I am certain the wasp did, that within in his dire strait fear became real to him.

And we, a people, can identity with pain, identify with suffering, with rejection, with heartache and loss indeed. We have to know where we have come from to where we are headed. We must know truth and hold that truth. As the body of Christ, I nor may husband can be everyone's rock but we know the Rock and can introduce you to HIM! And you and I can be drawn to other people to embrace them, yes in their hurt and give them truth. For it is only in unity of God's word and prayer do we hold together a people for God. When we do not do that, we are held in bondage of the enemy!

I ask you today to let ago of those days you lived in trenches of abuse, the trenches of hate and bitter resentment, trenches of disease like cancer..., the trenches of trying to protect others in religion instead of in the fear of God for it is God Who has given us life to live that is a good life. He did not come to make people sick, He came to heal!

Proverbs 6:16 These six things the LORD hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: 17 a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 A false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.

There are things that are out of our control and lying is not a way to keep control. We must submit to God, James 4:7 reminds us of this: Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Freedom from demonic assault and oppression is accomplished by submitting to God. It is a complete dependence on His word with a trust of faith that we walk with Him.

I wonder how many will be alarmed to find they lived their life on a lie and that which was false although appearing good and had nothing to do with God?
