God Spoke, Created, Formed and Breathed

God spoke in Genesis!

Genesis 1:3-4 and God said, “Let there be light;” and there was light , 4 And God saw that the light was good (suitable, pleasant), and He approved it; and God separated the light from the darkness.

Genesis 1:10  God called the dry land Earth, and the accumulated waters He called Seas. And God saw that this was good (fitting, admirable) and He approved it.

Genesis 2: 7 Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life and man became a living being.

Genesis 2:15-17 And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die.

God created man, He formed him & breathed life into his body.He , God  then gave them  instructions .They had the breath that spirit of life that was of God…& then He gave them authority.  Laws and rules apply to using the roadways and cells phones…for some reason people try to do both things…how about doing drugs and driving fast on I-5 in Washington!

With the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, we look toward Jesus. Authority had been given over to the devil……And for Jesus’ physical body to come, it took 4, 000 years to accomplish

1.. Why? In giving the earth into the devil’s hand, people had to be found who would truly speak forth with belief by faith in God be speaking from their hearts for the Consolation Who is Jesus!

2. God had to find people who would operate by faith, looking for men or women who would prophesy Jesus’ coming….someone with divine life in their hearts to speak forth Jesus’ body into existence.   (Jesus spoke if faith would be found on the earth at His return..)Luke 18:8

            3. It was necessary for God to become man, name Him Jesus, the Word made flesh, the physical presence of God on Earth…….to take the Authority back

4. God anointed men and women to speak forth and prophesy of HIM Who come…

Isaiah Is One who Called Him by this Prophecy: Isaiah 25:9  Amp Bible 9 It shall be said in that day, Behold our God upon Whom we have waited & hoped, that He might save us! This is the Lord, we have waited for Him; we will be glad & rejoice in His salvation.

Isaiah 40:11-13 He will feed His flock like a shepherd: He will gather the lambs in His arm, He will carry them in His bosom & will gently lead those that have their young. 12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, marked off the heavens with a [nine-inch] span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure & weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance? 13 Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or as His counselor has taught Him? [Romans 11:34]

As born-again believers: the spiritually man or woman will speak!   Our spirit man has the power of heaven. It is through the death, burial, & resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We respond to these things in faith.  Embracing His truths of this subject, we embrace & receive His provision for them.   WE are to command Light to come:

Ephesians 1:18-20  Amp Bible 18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know & understand ] the hope to which He has called you, & how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set apart ones) 19 & [so that you can know & understand] what is the immeasurable & unlimited & surpassing greatness of His power in & for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, 20 Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead & seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places].  This was God showing off HIS Son Jesus WHO conquered the devil…We have AUTHORITY through Jesus..

1.      Knowing and understanding God, the Omnipotent One is vital

2.      BY Faith, we demonstrate the working of His mighty strength as the born-again believer

3.      There is no sickness in heaven, no hunger in heaven, no disease in heaven, no tears and no death in heaven…1 Peter 2:24-25 Amplified Bible 24 He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as an altar & offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin & live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed. 25 for you were going astray like [so many] sheep, but now you have come back to the Shepherd & Guardian (the Bishop) of your souls.  (Isaiah 53:5-6

We are to teach others! To observe all things whatsoever Jesus has commanded us….from Matthew 10:8 heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils; freely ye have received, freely give.

1.      According to Philippians 2:10, every knee is to bow…have we bowed our knee to His leadership or do we still rule by our emotions?

2.      We have generated power of God now deposited on the inside of us: we are born-again, the Spirit-filled and tongue talking believer, we release God’s healing flow into others and see them restored.

3.      In boldness: God moves through His people on earth: Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His ]power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely] beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams]----

4.       God moves through us as we obey His commands and promptings of the Holy Spirit

Influence our nation by ministering the word of God: for it is power of the church to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel  : Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just & upright shall live & shall live by faith. [Habakkuk 2:4]

AS Commanded by Christ : to go into all the world Mark 16:15

1. TO BE witnesses of Him: Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost will come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth.

2. WITHOUT Him: we can do nothing :John 15:5

3. FREELY GIVE:  Matthew 10:8 Cure the sick, raise the dead,  cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely (without) pay you have received , freely (without charge) give.

4. BE WORD MINDED: John 6:63 The word that I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life.

Be Word FULL: Our minds should be kept on God. Stop thinking on that past relationships, that past job that was lost, the last conversation with a friend who left years ago & abandoned the friendship, …….& stop thinking about how if you had just said this or did that, things would be different …PULL scripture that will heal your soul, raise you up and help you see from the new perspective of flying like the eagle!

a. Do not give into temptation as the place to reside in you… If we think on the past “anything” we will return there and the opportunity to sin will come.

b. We do not need to be ‘”informed on foolishness” and anything perverted will not take you to God’s purpose for you. We should reject wrong thinking!

Romans 16:19 For while your loyalty & obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, I would have you well versed & wise as to what is good & innocent & guileless as to what is evil

Be not deceived: evil communication corrupts good manners. 1 Corinthians 15:33 Recognize death & life: Be committed to God’s peace. Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 1:2

Be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2

God was and is in our moments of life. He was in Mary's life to speak of Jesus. He was there in His birth and death! He is available always to us in our bright moments and those dark and dangerous ones!

Jesus was brought forth from the dead. He lived again to give instructions. If you have a grief, a moment you felt God left you in your anxiety, let you an orphan to face tomorrow without Him you are so wrong. Your child passed and you grieved, but that grief must go to the altar to worship God. Your spouse betrayed you and left you. YOU grieve but that grief must go to the altar to worship God. Your job came to an end but God is there. YOU may grieve that job but place it on the altar and see God move in His love for you. Be word full of Him. allow your reading to move to overdrive and hear the words of Him that jump off the page to reach your brokenness. He is alive, and He speaks, He created and provided, He formed and has breathed His life into us. We continue. We seek His plan in the pain we experience. He did! He felt Jesus crucified. He felt the abandonment of sin but as He grieved He found peace in the soul. God is God who knows, understand and reveals the man of dust, But He is God Who Sees> Genesis 16:13 The God Who Sees Me.

God spoke, created, formed and breathed for a special plan. Like Hagar who came into the midst of a man and woman who desired children, she found heartache and no place to live in peace. But God showed her he heard of the cry of the boy's heart for water. He heard her plea for help!

Struggle can come, but we are children of God. We are not without hope. We are noticed by Him and that is what counts in this moment of time! Amen and Amen.

Bound to the Word of God and Ministry

Was hearing a teaching today on Paul and Silas being jailed in Acts 16. And we know it was praise that set them free, yet they did not leave where they could continue to minister life to others. Today we see people ready to break and run and they know not where they want to run to. Heard this mayor in Illinois who is turning away the illegal’s to suburban areas to keep them out of Chicago. I thought they made that state a sanctuary state for all kinds of people to come in? Some people change on a flip of a coin! Some people have agendas!

In scripture we find those still confined to the laws of the land. But many laws within this land and this culture today go beyond the conscious mind to being downright evil. Evil to children, in wanting to change their identity. Now I can tell you that is the work of the devil for he had words with Jesus in the wilderness.

In Titus 3: 1 remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities to obey, to be ready for every good works, 2 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

Certainly we are to obey laws, especially those that keep you out of error like on highways, and to obey that of children in school to be educated to read and write and not for some new gender assignment. How many took something that was evil and stole their life in the last few years?

In Redemption, we have a new home, and we abide by the truth given in that which is of God and His grace, the love of His Son for our salvation and Holy Spirit for power on earth now. We remember our worldly behavior in our pre-conversion lives but we also realize of the love and kindness God has toward those still lost in the lust of their sins!

The HOPE, our HOPE came through Jesus Christ!   In Luke 4:2….Luke  4: 1 Then Jesus being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 being tempted for forty days by the devil . And in those days He ate nothing & afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry. 3 And the devil said to Him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” 4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God.  5 Then the devil taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, & their glory for this has been delivered to me, & I give it to whomever I wish.

7 Therefore if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” 8 And Jesus answered and said to him. “Get behind Me Satan! For it is written you shall worship the LORD your God & Him only you shall serve.” 9 Then be brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, & said to Him, “If you are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here.

Just to note here that Jesus spoke: “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God.  “Get behind Me Satan! For it is written you shall worship the LORD your God & Him only you shall serve. And this in verse 12: 12 And Jesus answered & said to him, “It has been said, You shall not tempt (test) the LORD your God.

The devil speaks in the beginning of v. 10> Luke 4: 10 For it is written: He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you.’ 11 and, In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ 12 And Jesus answered & said to him, “It has been said, You shall not tempt (test) the LORD your God.” 13 Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.   14 Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee & news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. 15 And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

The actual wording spoken or given in verse 10-11 from Psalm 91 : 11-12 For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.  In all your ways: is God will give His angels charge over us when we are obedient to Him and in service to Him.  That which is of our heart is set totally on God, God will keep us safe! Not serving the world or the things of the world….not a culture of the flesh or of the culture of death

Jesus spoke that which was written to make the charge against Satan, for he Satan had spoke to Eve and got her to agree with him in the garden!

God said this in Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die.”

And Satan said this: Genesis 3: 1-4 and he said to the woman, “has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘you shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.” 4 then the serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not surely die.”

Satan changed it from every tree of the garden you may freely eat to you shall not eat of every tree of the garden.  It is important that we know what has been given in the written word of God!

( We are the enlightened, we are in Him, we are His inheritance, His saints and by revelation we walk that way.)

In the Wilderness we find what has our heart: for Israel, the wanted to return to bask in Egyptian food, and making bricks without straw….Exodus 16:3 -4 NKJV  3 And the children of Israel said to them, “Oh that we had died by the add of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the post of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger. 4 Then the LORD said to Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them. Whether they will walk in My law or not.

In Numbers 11 they craved meat: V.4 Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: Who will give us meat to eat? 5 We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons ,the leeks,  the onions, and the garlic. 6 but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!

What has your heart, what has my heart?  This we have seen in Luke 4 and Matthew 4: man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD

Remembering God and speaking God’s words reminds us of His faithfulness.  God testing them proved if their hearts were for Him or for themselves; were they meditating on Him! They were brought through the wilderness to find that privacy with God who delivered them…..Do we find those times with God who has delivered us….in times of trouble, pain, heartbreak…lack….! For us to have spiritual survival, we must have God’s word.

If you awoke this morning at 3 a.m. was God's word coming out of your mouth?

We should stay with Jesus! We should stay within the protective casing of God’s word for our lives. Paul and Silas stayed and spoke of the Lord in praise. Held in bondage, they spoke with hearts on fire for Him!

ACTS 16:25-34…..25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, "Do yourself no harm, for we are all here." 29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" 31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. 34 Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.

TO A SEEING EYE AND A HEARING EAR………….PAUL AND SILAS CHOSE TO REJOICE IN THE LORD IN PRAISE. And as they praised the Lord, the prisoners listened to them seen in verse 25. And in verse 26 an earthquake shook the foundations and the cell doors were loosened.

AN Attitude in the midnight hour………..doing our best, knowing God’s plan and Word for us and still the storms of life come, but we speak in all hours of the day and night and we expect Him. We expect His Presence and His word to be spoken that sets the captives free. Are you captive to something? Worship the Lord, give praise to His name and see His wonderful acts of love for you today!

In light of the ministry of the Lord, He gave us understanding. Ephesians 1:18 the eyes of our your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.

The Spirit of revelation working in us, that glory of His inheritance in the saints. God’s purpose, that unveiling of our hearts to live spiritually God’s way by His word. In that anointed word, we see yokes destroyed. But we must continue. We must speak continually that word of power and give praise to Him who gave it to us. In that we prevail by His mighty word. WE are set free!

Would You LAUGH?

Laughter came to our family! No longer a baby but still brings us joy!
Would you laugh if God told you something was about to occur in your life? Well one lady did laugh!

Genesis 18:2-15  NKJV  2 So he lifted his eyes and looked and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground, 3 and said, "My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant.

4 "Please let a little water be brought and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree. 5 and I will bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh your hearts. After that you may pass by, inasmuch as you have come to your servant." They said, "Do as you have said."
6 So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah and said, "Quickly, make ready three measures of fine meal; knead it and make cakes."
7 And Abraham ran to the herd, took a tender and good calf, gave it to a young man, and he hastened to prepare it. 8 So he took butter and milk and the calf which he had prepared and set it before them under the tree as they ate. 9 Then they said to him, "Where is Sarah your wife?" So he said, "Here in the tent." 10 And He said, "I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son." (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.) 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advance in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. 12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, "After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure,my lord being old also?" 13 And the Lord said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh saying, 'Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?"14 Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son." 15 But Sarah denied it, saying, "I did not laugh", for she was afraid. And He said, "No but you did laugh!"

Genesis 21:1-7   NKJV And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken. 2 For Sarah conceived and bore  Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. 3 And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him---whom Sarah bore to him----Isaac. 4 Then Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him. 5 Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. 6 And Sarah said, "God has made me laugh and all who hear will laugh with me." 7 She also said, "Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age."

Well beyond their years to have a "child", God came! Well beyond their thoughts of having family, laughter and enjoyment, God speaks a word!
Are we willing to receive when God speaks to us? For He can and will speak to us when we give Him our time.

Luke 1:37 "For with God nothing will be impossible."
Jeremiah 32:17 "Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.

For whatever our age, and our walk with the Lord, surely He can bring to pass that which He purposed for us. We must mind our speaking and make sure we speak His truth and not the lies of the enemy. Like Sarah, women may think they are too old to have a "child" at a later date in life, but God is the God where nothing will be impossible!

When that "word" comes from God, we must receive it in belief (trusting) that He will do just what He has spoken.

Being reminded of a word given to Israel in chapter 36 of Ezekiel.
Ezekiel 36:34-36  NKJV  "The desolate land shall be tilled instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass by. 35 "So they will say, 'This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.' 36  Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, the LORD have spoken it and I will do it."

The whole of chapter 35 of Ezekiel is about redemption and restoration. When we truly hear and obey God, receive His words deep into our heart, those living waters swell up to remove what cannot stay in our lives. Blessings, so wonderful, come to those who revere Him and hear Him speak.

Believe God! Like Abraham and Sarah prepared to receive the LORD by preparation of a meal that would refresh His heart.
Refresh His heart today. Give into Him, with thanksgiving, with love and joy of what He has done for you.
Are you still breathing today? Give thanks! Are you still walking without any needed help, give thanks! Do you see well, rise every morning to meet the day to do the work needed so you can be a blessing to others? Then give much thanks to Him who created and planned for you!
Ask that righteous desire, and believe it to come to pass, just like Sarah was told to do, not with a laugh of doubt but of a belief to say: " Yes, Lord, I believe I receive that word today."

No matter your age, if your place be desolate, no matter all have abandoned you, it is God's Word to you that will bring that refreshing rain, that refreshing that God said that is going to change things, turn it around for your good. Today ask for a fresh infilling of His Spirit, invite His Spirit to touch every desperate area in your life. Receive His powers to come, to transform, rejuvenate and restore life completely where death had once been.
Receive His word, that seed of change and believe.........for His comfort is there ........you must reach out to take it and receive deep it into your heart.
WE believe you to receive healing and abundant fruitfulness today in Jesus' name. Amen!

Only One Returned

Luke 17:17-19
17 So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?" 19 And He said to him, "Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well."    NKJV

Amazing word given...........ten came..........ten were cleansed.........yet only ONE CAME TO GIVE GLORY TO GOD!
Did only one have the "grateful heart"?
Luke 17:11-19
11 Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" 14 So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. 17 So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?" 19 And He said to him, "Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well."    NKJV

Having a faith in God.........being made well......made whole, delivered, the healed, the saved.

WE can see Jesus had gone to Jerusalem and was passing in the midst of Samaria and Galilee. When entering this village, it must have been in Samaria.........because by the time we get to verse 16, it states the healed one was a Samaritan. Only the foreigner would give glory to God!
All had spoken together, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us, yet as they went and all healed, only one returned.
Have we not seen that before........the least likely to return,........was one who gave thanks. It  is the one so touched by God returns again and again to give thanks. They return to church to be with other believer's. Aah yes, there are many who come, and may speak like you can speak, but what is in their heart regarding the goodness of God?

Instead of this Samaritan obeying the letter of the law........he came to give thanks to God! Instead of the ritual and religion, he came to give thanks to Him who created him.

Mark 10:46-52
46 Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" 48 Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" 49 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, "Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you." 50 And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. 51 So Jesus answered and said to him, "What do you want Me to do for you?" The blind man said to Him, "Rabboni, that I may receive my sight." 52 Then Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your faith has made you well." And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
NKJV

In the above scripture passage, we see pretty much the same thing. We see the group going with Jesus and His disciples as they left Jericho. We find the blind man Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, by the road begging.
He can know it is Jesus because of what he hears the crowd speak. Because he heard, he was able to speak out, " Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"
Instantly there were those, you know who they are, probably seen them in church. They are the ones........who say.............."ssshhhh"..........or "be quiet". or they give a look, when you are yelling and giving praise to God...............giving a yell,........AND  those next to you, rolling those whites in their eyes, letting you know that you are offending them, by being OH SO "LOUD ABOUT JESUS".

COME ON NOW, I KNOW YOU HAVE SEEN THEM, RIGHT?

Then, after those try to quiet Bartimaeus above the "roar" of the "crowd", then Bartimaeus again speaks, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
Yep, he did it again. THEN JESUS STOOD STILL. HE COMMANDED Bartimaeus to be called.
THEN, the blind man threw aside his garment...........while those with Jesus told him to come. He threw off that which stated, "he was the BLIND MAN", HE WAS THE SON OF A BLIND MAN. He threw off that which denoted a beggar in despair.
AND Jesus spoke to him..........."What do you want Me to do for you?"
And Bartimaeus answered..........."Rabboni, that I may receive my sight." Jesus told him, "Go your way; your faith has made you well." AND IMMEDIATELY HE RECEIVED HIS SIGHT AND FOLLOWED JESUS ON THE ROAD.!

IN  a crowd of people there will always be a low roar, but even more so when there are people walking down the road together. Ever been to the Spaghetti Factory in Seattle......????......well, that is "a roar of people speaking like all at the same time." It can get pretty "loud" in there. I remember eating in there a couple of times, and each time I could not hear the people seated across from me or next to me while we all gathered to eat.

Matthew 23:5-12
5 "Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6 they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7 they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them 'Rabbi.'

8 "But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. 9 And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10 Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ.  11 The greatest among you will be your servant. 12 For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.    NIV

Jesus taught us that those who were called Rabbi, surely like the title. They liked being greeted in the marketplaces and for those there to call them "Rabbi". But Jesus said His disciples were not to be called "Rabbi", but the one who was the Master, the Father in heaven, was the Teacher of all in Christ.
When Bartimaeus mentioned "Rabboni", he was calling him "Lord". He was speaking,
"Jesus, "Son of a King" have compassion, mercy on me!"
Bartimaeus cried, he SCREAMED OUT LOUDLY.........SON OF A KING HAVE MERCY ON ME!

What a glorious picture of that which was broken was now made whole! What was of the poor, the blind was now restored to run and jump AND YES SEE. He was restored to follow Jesus and not be led by anyone. May we all have that same type of life, to be the healed and restored to follow Jesus willingly and not be led!  May we all follow having an active part in seeing the glory of the Lord daily in our lives.
Will we return to give thanks or just be "one of the nine".......who were healed but not made whole like the "one"!

Father, we pray in Jesus' name to be men and women who will have the same courage to speak loudly in returning in giving thanks to You. As we do, we expect that light of Your Word to continue to bring us to Your glorious presence which is of the King, the rightful ruler of our hearts. We desire to submit willingly to Your authority and rule. Put that longing in our hearts to talk with You and hear Your voice. May we always be willing to step away from the "crowd" and give a  yell for Your goodness to us. We have seen restoration and life brought to us through believing. We pray to continue to have faith -filled lives. May we live each day with a leading by Your Holy Spirit.
Lord, please quiet those voices from the outside that represent to us the world and our five senses. Today we are the accepted in Jesus and we are free. We pray to follow You all the days of our lives and live in Your House forever and ever. You are the King of glory.Amen.
