Bound to the Word of God and Ministry

Was hearing a teaching today on Paul and Silas being jailed in Acts 16. And we know it was praise that set them free, yet they did not leave where they could continue to minister life to others. Today we see people ready to break and run and they know not where they want to run to. Heard this mayor in Illinois who is turning away the illegal’s to suburban areas to keep them out of Chicago. I thought they made that state a sanctuary state for all kinds of people to come in? Some people change on a flip of a coin! Some people have agendas!

In scripture we find those still confined to the laws of the land. But many laws within this land and this culture today go beyond the conscious mind to being downright evil. Evil to children, in wanting to change their identity. Now I can tell you that is the work of the devil for he had words with Jesus in the wilderness.

In Titus 3: 1 remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities to obey, to be ready for every good works, 2 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

Certainly we are to obey laws, especially those that keep you out of error like on highways, and to obey that of children in school to be educated to read and write and not for some new gender assignment. How many took something that was evil and stole their life in the last few years?

In Redemption, we have a new home, and we abide by the truth given in that which is of God and His grace, the love of His Son for our salvation and Holy Spirit for power on earth now. We remember our worldly behavior in our pre-conversion lives but we also realize of the love and kindness God has toward those still lost in the lust of their sins!

The HOPE, our HOPE came through Jesus Christ!   In Luke 4:2….Luke  4: 1 Then Jesus being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 being tempted for forty days by the devil . And in those days He ate nothing & afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry. 3 And the devil said to Him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” 4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God.  5 Then the devil taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, & their glory for this has been delivered to me, & I give it to whomever I wish.

7 Therefore if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” 8 And Jesus answered and said to him. “Get behind Me Satan! For it is written you shall worship the LORD your God & Him only you shall serve.” 9 Then be brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, & said to Him, “If you are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here.

Just to note here that Jesus spoke: “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God.  “Get behind Me Satan! For it is written you shall worship the LORD your God & Him only you shall serve. And this in verse 12: 12 And Jesus answered & said to him, “It has been said, You shall not tempt (test) the LORD your God.

The devil speaks in the beginning of v. 10> Luke 4: 10 For it is written: He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you.’ 11 and, In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ 12 And Jesus answered & said to him, “It has been said, You shall not tempt (test) the LORD your God.” 13 Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.   14 Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee & news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. 15 And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

The actual wording spoken or given in verse 10-11 from Psalm 91 : 11-12 For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.  In all your ways: is God will give His angels charge over us when we are obedient to Him and in service to Him.  That which is of our heart is set totally on God, God will keep us safe! Not serving the world or the things of the world….not a culture of the flesh or of the culture of death

Jesus spoke that which was written to make the charge against Satan, for he Satan had spoke to Eve and got her to agree with him in the garden!

God said this in Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die.”

And Satan said this: Genesis 3: 1-4 and he said to the woman, “has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘you shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.” 4 then the serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not surely die.”

Satan changed it from every tree of the garden you may freely eat to you shall not eat of every tree of the garden.  It is important that we know what has been given in the written word of God!

( We are the enlightened, we are in Him, we are His inheritance, His saints and by revelation we walk that way.)

In the Wilderness we find what has our heart: for Israel, the wanted to return to bask in Egyptian food, and making bricks without straw….Exodus 16:3 -4 NKJV  3 And the children of Israel said to them, “Oh that we had died by the add of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the post of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger. 4 Then the LORD said to Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them. Whether they will walk in My law or not.

In Numbers 11 they craved meat: V.4 Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: Who will give us meat to eat? 5 We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons ,the leeks,  the onions, and the garlic. 6 but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!

What has your heart, what has my heart?  This we have seen in Luke 4 and Matthew 4: man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD

Remembering God and speaking God’s words reminds us of His faithfulness.  God testing them proved if their hearts were for Him or for themselves; were they meditating on Him! They were brought through the wilderness to find that privacy with God who delivered them…..Do we find those times with God who has delivered us….in times of trouble, pain, heartbreak…lack….! For us to have spiritual survival, we must have God’s word.

If you awoke this morning at 3 a.m. was God's word coming out of your mouth?

We should stay with Jesus! We should stay within the protective casing of God’s word for our lives. Paul and Silas stayed and spoke of the Lord in praise. Held in bondage, they spoke with hearts on fire for Him!

ACTS 16:25-34…..25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, "Do yourself no harm, for we are all here." 29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" 31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. 34 Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.

TO A SEEING EYE AND A HEARING EAR………….PAUL AND SILAS CHOSE TO REJOICE IN THE LORD IN PRAISE. And as they praised the Lord, the prisoners listened to them seen in verse 25. And in verse 26 an earthquake shook the foundations and the cell doors were loosened.

AN Attitude in the midnight hour………..doing our best, knowing God’s plan and Word for us and still the storms of life come, but we speak in all hours of the day and night and we expect Him. We expect His Presence and His word to be spoken that sets the captives free. Are you captive to something? Worship the Lord, give praise to His name and see His wonderful acts of love for you today!

In light of the ministry of the Lord, He gave us understanding. Ephesians 1:18 the eyes of our your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.

The Spirit of revelation working in us, that glory of His inheritance in the saints. God’s purpose, that unveiling of our hearts to live spiritually God’s way by His word. In that anointed word, we see yokes destroyed. But we must continue. We must speak continually that word of power and give praise to Him who gave it to us. In that we prevail by His mighty word. WE are set free!

Just Take His Hand

Mark 1:21-31 NKJV 21 Then they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath he entered the synagogue and taught. 22 And they were astonished at His teaching, for he taught them as one having authority and not as the scribes. 23 Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, 24 saying, “Let us alone!” What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are----the Holy One of God!” 25 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet and come out of him!” 26 And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with aloud voice, he came out of  him. 27 Then they were amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “what is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority he commands even the unclean spirits and they obey Him.” 28 And immediately His fame spread throughout all the region around Galilee.

29 Now as soon as they had come out of the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 But Simon’s wife mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once. 31 So he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up and immediately the fever left her. And she served them.

Here in verses 21-28 you have an unclean spirit that knows who Jesus is and the religious group see Jesus as trying to give a new “doctrine”. Amazing, right? Yet here you have the two healing types are going on in Mark 1.

In the beginning of Gospel of Mark you have the calling of the disciples: Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea ( fisherman, you know) and then you then have James and John the sons of Zebedee and they were in their boat mending their nets when Jesus called them.

These people as fishermen worked hard and made money to pay their bills and their taxes! As the Sabbath came, Jesus and the disciples are in the synagogue. It is then that Jesus casts out the unclean spirit on the Sabbath as He taught. Yes, Jesus is teaching and the unclean spirit within a man walks into a service in the synagogue.

Jesus called those who would be active for the kingdom of God. No these would not be waiting on a check from any government, these men would work indeed!

Fishermen would have a first-hand look at casting, not nets into the water, but casting God’s word and reeling in an unclean spirit! Jesus was giving the reality of demons and the kingdom of God. In reality the lusts of men cause them to touch things and play with something dangerous to cause sickness and even death. And Jesus revealed the kingdom had come, that kingdom of God where Jesus carried authority. Furthermore, He gave this power to His followers.

In Mark 1:25 Jesus tells the demon to be quiet! He wants no testimony of the adversary. “Be quiet!”

And yet today, we have many speaking and declaring testimonies that are not true and only that which really is disguised but harms many not by any ounce of healing but fruits of evil to kill.

But Jesus points to healing, a physical healing to liberate men from the dread results of sin. A follower of Jesus should not be hearing testimony of the devil. A follower is to follow Jesus and declare the truth of God’s word over situations or trials and even viruses. Faith people call the unseen to be seen! Walking by faith is that faith or trust is in God who is our shelter from the storm, He is our shelter in the shade, a shelter from the heat of other people’s wrath or hate! ( Isaiah 4:6)

Either we speak God’s word with authority or we speak weakly. And speaking weakly is that you do not believe or have faith in God. Our witness is to be of the Lord! If you accept the witness of demons, you will not make them be quiet. But Jesus commanded the demon to be quiet. "Come out of him".  Can you imagine this man when the demon cried out and left him right there in that public place? Can you imagine what people would do today if that happened before them in a church or even in another public area? Yeah, panic city would occur! Here these amazed people are seeing authority in Jesus of what they have never seen before. Yet they had the same doctrine of God, but never relayed that to others. Wherever God works, the enemy opposes. And it can anyone again who opposes God and His truth!

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

Fame went out about Jesus! But Jesus was touching the man’s heart not for fame but for the kingdom of God. Something was occurring in Israel, the Messiah had come. A fire was starting and it was a good one!

Jesus spoke no words to Simon’s mother-in-law. He simply took her by hand and lifted or raised her up. One touch from God and she rose! He helped her to her feet and she was cured immediately. This fever left no weakened condition to this woman. She was cured, restored to serve others.

Are we healed and serving others or are we still hobbling about trying to get healed and still have people serving us? And she served them, not in a weakened condition, no she was alive and well by the hand of Jesus Christ. Amazing, the healing miracles of Christ Jesus. He dealt with each one in an individual case or as a group. He heard their cries, and this mother-in-law of Peter’s shows that the priest of the Lord ( Peter) had a family to care about. So Peter tells Jesus of his wife's mother and of the fever. Following Jesus, that follower would see with his eyes and hear what the Lord would do in those situations. Those who pay attention to the actions of the Christ will do those things as well. For the Lord lives in our hearts and He is active in His pursuit of the lost person requiring healing today.

In this passage from Mark 1, we see Mark underscoring the need for faith in the person Jesus Christ, in the  message, the Gospel had come, and the very power of Jesus to help those in need. Because Jesus in you and me enables us to engage and help those in extreme need. You and I must know the identity of Christ Jesus. Demons may know and confess His divine son-ship, but we must see through to the Cross, see His crucifixion, and resurrection, to take up our cross and follow Him. Because there are demons one day and healing the next that one may encounter, and if you think otherwise, then you know not that the kingdom of God has come.

Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature . 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe; in My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents and if the drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.”

19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 and they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

The signs confirms the ministry of Jesus Christ. His followers continue to carry out that the kingdom of God has come. The casting out of demons, speaking in tongues, and healing all is the ministry He revealed and all this comes by believing in Him.

Christ is lifted up and seated at the right hand of the Father. Jesus is in us and with the Father we are all one In Him! We are changed from glory to glory, we are encouraged to live for Him and become the image of Him. He kept His walk for a little over three years. He never quaked at anything. He kept hearing and receiving what the Father gave Him to do.

Now it is your turn. So how about that person next to you, have you prayed for him today or just took his hand and lifted him from his sickbed……for in Jesus we live and move and have our being! Amen!

Began To Speak

Voice of Prayer
Luke 7:11-17 NKJV Now it happened, the day after that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd. 12 And when he came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."
14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you arise." 15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.
16 Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has risen up among us". 17 And this report about Him went throughout all Judea and all the surrounding region.

Compassion will cause you to speak.
From the passage above, Jesus is surrounded by His disciples (by this point many of them) and a large crowd. So you would have followers of Jesus, walking with Him to hear His teaching and those who walked along to see if they might view another miracle.
Here though we also have compassion! He comes along side a large open coffin being carried out no doubt to the place of the tombs.
And in the compassion of Jesus He bids the woman not to "weep". Jesus then reaches and yes, touches  the coffin and commands the young man. He gives instruction for him to arise.
The dead man now alive sits up and begins to converse. Boy, does he have a story to tell everyone!

Yes, an adventure had begun. He who was dead was now alive at the word of Jesus.
We are told that fear came upon all and they glorified God saying, "a great prophet has risen up among us."

On mediating on this, I was remembering of an invitation my husband and I got in the last few days to visit this church who has a "guest" who was raised from the dead some time ago! Now we had attended a church for some time, and I do remember this man coming for some services. He appeared at the church in the city and at the church in the country. What I was thinking was why the man's wife had not appeared with him as she was the "faith woman" who prayed him back and Jesus gave Him the boost.
So the woman or woman and friends prayed touching the heart of God, and in Jesus' name....a man was raised!

Now we know that it is "faith " that pleases God, right? So when God is pleased with our faith we too can see the miraculous just like Jesus did!
I asked the Lord this morning, "why is it that the one raised, is the one who travels to tell of his being raised from the dead, and the "faith" person or people who spent the time on their knees are the ones who are not heard of, ever!

Again, while meditating on this early this particular day I happened to see Jesse Du Plantis on Sid Roth's "SUPERNATURAL".
In his relating of testimony of God in his life, he told also of the power of his mother's prayers. He told of an event that captured him greatly!
He liked doing his own thing before being saved. And early in his  life,  one of them was to travel to a small town in Texas next to the border of Mexico and New Mexico and have a partying time. It was a "bar" area with its' women of the night thing.
He said he and his best friend got to the bar and started drinking right away. The phone rang, and some man called out in a thick Spanish accent for a Jesse....middle name...here..Du Plantis.

He looks thoughtfully at his friend and then wondering who would know he was there and know his middle name as well was calling and he was going to see who knew his whereabouts.
So Jesse marched over to the bar.  Still he wondered who would know of his being at this particular place at this particular time, so he stands in front of the man holding the phone!
He says with a questioning voice ......"hello"???..... and from the other end he hears something like a lot like his mother with her strong and bold voice......... calling him a devil, telling him she knows what kind of dive he was in, and why he is in that place and he needed to leave then not later. Or God would put him in hell!
He goes back to the table, gets his friend and leaves. He was concerned that God was going to put him in hell forever! His mother had spoken. His mother had prayed and Jesse Du Plantis told others of how his mother prayed for him and how he walked into a life with God! AND GOD TOLD JESSE'S MOTHER WHERE JESSE WAS PARTYING.

God answers the prayers of the righteous man (or woman). God is pleased by our faith in Him!

So back to those who are raised from the dead, I would rather speak with your wife, or friends who prayed for days for you to rise! I would rather know what they experienced than you who walks. For truly the dead when raised will speak; just look at any new believer in Christ Jesus! The young man in the coffin sat up and spoke. He had much to say after dying, right?

Compassion speaks: It spoke through Jesus and speaks through those who pray for others. Compassion is not measured, it is not by the wishes of anyone. Compassion is the godly fear that arises from the reverent life devoted to God, arises from submission to God and comes from Him who is the perfected, genuine humanity WHO WAS APPOINTED BY GOD! When Jesus is BIG in our life, then we prevail by His word and His example indeed!

We know not the life of the young man in the coffin. BUT we do know Jesus or should know Him. AND Jesus had many encounters with God the Father. Any family member who has pleaded for the life of the other loved one know what it is like and what it takes to persevere in prayer. In the ministry of the priest, one will pray for their fellow man.
We have a living way through Whom we can draw near to God. We are to have the same compassion Jesus carried within Him.
I believe those who walk today being raised from a early death, has been from those who truly had the same compassion as the Savior. They love people! They have mercy for others, extend it to others on a regular basis.

Ask God to use you to pray for others. Ask Him where you can speak life to another and see their purpose manifest for all to see. The widow woman got her son back. She did not have to fear living in the street, for her son with life in him came back to life to help his mother.

In understanding that Jesus had a prayer life, we too are to have a prayer life.

Jesus gave us strength and dignity. If we truly are His, then we wear strength and dignity and in the position of prayer we are the strong and the secure. Compassion will be seen in our land when our hands are extended in prayer, extended to the poor or to the needy. (whether in body, soul or spirit)

Father, in Jesus' name we pray our lives will always carry Your presence and Your tangible anointing. With YOUR anointing, all things are possible to the believer. We pray and expect to be the wise who values all that YOU accomplished at the Cross. We value YOUR presence above all else.
Father we desire to be those who will gird ourselves with Your word for spiritual strength, for mental strength and for physical strength as well.

Today, we believe and expect to be that "one" who will move and give the Word of God,  that will empower them to be refreshed and keep them from the wiles of the enemy. Help us to see where others may be carrying out someone to the tombs for burial when their purpose has not been manifested. Help us to see when prayer is needed to help others spiritually by prayer and then touch them with Your words of truth!
Thank You for that Word! We want to carry Your presence to the world so they can know You like we know YOU.  To God be all the glory. Amen.

That Communication Thing?!

Voice of Prayer
When you have to have something done outside the home, I am always amazed of the amount of time to actually get out of the house, drive to the designated place and then talk with whom ever one there is to see, greet and talk about for the "something" outside of the home. I always check to make sure that we have all the information needed before going to any destination.
But like anyplace and anyone you talk today, we find there is always at the designated meeting place,  more added sheets of questions to answer like your health. And that applies to having eyes checked, teeth cleaned, etc.  If you think of a Dr. office, you have the appointment and the blood test. But of late, I am noticing how the connection even with what is given you over the internet to receive at home from their office is somehow falling through the cracks at the office.
Communication is vital where ever you go. Especially in knowing say the English language to read road signs to drive there, not using the cell phone and to speak coherently to the person you are to encounter. But again, if you do have that language mastered still somehow people restate the same question to you some extra times, and should they do that, they will still get from me at least the same answer I gave them the first time.
I had told my sister of my trip to get blood checked. Just a thing they do to keep watch on it since the low hemoglobin a couple of years ago. I can understand they know not what they are dealing with, but I know God and I also know I am the healed made whole in Jesus' name.
She is seeing it as a test from God. I believe that, not for health reasons at all but seeing how our love walk is going with others. Finding time with some really helpful people the other day still I am in awe I stayed in that love walk. It is interesting that my veins lie so deep within my arms, that these folks must use ultrasound. Yes, you heard right.
Long story shortened here is that they did regard our request to use it right off. Still the event took some two hours to take some blood. But the people were awesome and they tried to make "light" the difficulty they were having, and yet I knew God was with me, they would get what they needed and I would get to go home and rest. These dear ones had to stay and take care of those who are really ill and who have life threatening situations.
When almost done, the lady next to was having chemotherapy done. She was in awe of my patience and oh she must have watched us. But hey, who could miss it.........we were those talking in the corner of that great room, and probably heard by those seated close by.

Had opportunity to ministry God's word and life to them. Had the opportunity to speak to one mother of her daughters and that they would continue to walk with God for His glory. It might have took two hours, but I believe people experienced the goodness of a great God and His love for them and their children. We had been asking for more opportunities to minister life of God to others but I think I will be more definite on where I would like to do that ministry moments!

Yes communication is vital! And what do we communicate daily, is it helpful to others or just another complaint? I know that our God is for us. He is not against us and does not desire us to be afraid! We have much to do here and it is by obeying the laws like not driving with cell phone in hand, stop at the RED stop signs ( I mean you really must come to a complete stop and then proceed) and we must tell others of the love of God. We should answer the phone but not while driving down the road with a cheeseburger in hand. We should look forward to ministering to others and telling them of the love God has for us and why He sent Jesus.

Yes, my husband called me yesterday and the Dr has scheduled another appointment in four months for the blood again. Not sure of the exact date but it will arrive by email here at the house and we will drive in..........once more of having opportunities to minister life.
Yes, I still pray for those times, but I have asked for a different location and not the hospital!
Communication:is the two way process of reaching a mutual understanding. It is in which the participants not only exchange information, news, ideas and feelings but also will created and share meaning. Communication is the means of connecting with people or places. In business, communication is the key function of management----an organization cannot operate without communication between levels, departments and employees.  (www.businessdictionary.com)

So happy God has no problems with communicating with us. The only problem is do we hear when He is speaking!

Proverbs 23:9 tells us :"do not speak in the hearing of a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your words.
In God's wisdom, we would know that to keep your job, you are to obey the boss and the written "things" of order for each patient coming in for a visit. To do anything outside of that would seem to cause one to lose their job by not obeying the command from the top.
No we still love, but we also continue to pray for good communication between Dr. and their employees and that all work is completed before Dr. sees their patients in that scheduled day and time. For peace is good to stay in and when you can sing for joy, you have made God your place of refuge. Yes, I will go back for that draw in about four months..........whatever that day may be, unless the Dr cancels, but I wait on God and know if there is ministry to be had there, I will go with the aide of my husband and we will see lives changed for His ultimate glory. Amen.
