AWESTRUCK!

Jesus before Pilate.
Heard this woman speak this past Wednesday the fifth of April. She a Jew, mentioned her time during Holocaust and her seeking this week in the Vatican.  She wanted to worship. Interesting but she looked younger than myself. She mentioned her faith in God and in man. That is what stopped me in my tracks regarding her speech. Faith in God, in the Lord, faith in the bloodshed at Calvary and that given for us to walk in freedom of sin indeed, but knowing she has faith in man was regarding earthly things.

She had faith in man!

In remembering the great sacrifice of Jesus for mankind and referencing nothing toward Him but only for faith in man brings tears indeed. What death occurred and what horrendous hate accumulated in the flesh of Jesus to be hung on a Cross for all the world to view at that time.

Mark 14:32-42 NKJV 32 Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” 33 And He took Peter, James and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. 34 The He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.” 35 He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. 36 And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You, Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.” 37 Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour? 38 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak. 39 Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words. 40 And when He returned, He found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy; and they did not what to answer Him. 41 Then He came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.” 42 Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.”

Are we keeping watch today? Do we note what to pray for?

Mark 14:43 And immediately, while He was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. 44 Now His betrayer had given them a signal, saying, “Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him and lead Him away safely.” 45 As soon as he had come, immediately he went up to Him and said to Him. “Rabbi, Rabbi! And kissed Him. 46 Then they laid their hands on Him and took Him. 47 And one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear. 48 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Have you come out, as against a robber with swords and clubs to take Me. But the Scriptures must be fulfilled.” 50 Then they all forsook Him and fled.

Do we pay attention when things are about to change? Do we know those who are against us? But we walk like Jesus, we walk forward with truth! Jesus went voluntarily. He went to do the Father's will!

Mark 14:53 And they led Jesus away to the high priest; and with him were assembled all the chief priests, the elders and the scribes. 54 But Peter followed Him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. And he sat with the servants and warmed himself at the fire. 55 Now the chief priests all the council sought testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, but found none.

Peter followed at a distance. He was lagging behind and when he sat, he sat to warm himself. Not with his peers but with others trying to be lost in a crowd!

Mark 15:6-15  NKJV  6 Now at the feast he was accustomed to releasing one prisoner to them, whomever they requested. 7 And there was one named Barabbas, who was chained with his fellow rebels; they had committed murder in the rebellion. 8 Then the multitude, crying aloud, began to ask him to do just as he had always done for them. 9 But Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?" 10 For he knew that the chief priests had handed Him over because of envy. 11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, so that he should rather release Barabbas to them. 12 Pilate answered and said to them again, "What then do you want me to do with Him whom you call the King of the Jews?" 13 So they cried out again, "Crucify Him!" 14 Then Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has He done?" But they cried out all the more, "Crucify Him!" 15 So Pilate, wanting to gratify the crowd, released Barabbas to them; and he delivered Jesus, after he had scourged Him, to be crucified.

Pilate recognized the envy of the Jews at this time. The chief priests stirred up the crowds to release the rebellious one and crucify the humble and faithful One.

Mark 15:33 Now when the sixth hour had come there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. 34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabacthani?” which is translated :MY God, My God why have You forsaken Me?” 35 Some of those who stood by, when they heard that, said, “Look, He is calling for Elijah!” 36 Then someone ran and filled sponge full of sour wine, put it on a reed, and offered it to Him to drink saying, “Let Him alone; let us see if Elijah will come to take Him down.” 37 And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. 38 Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. 39 So when the centurion who stood opposite Him, saw that he cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, “Truly this Man was the Son of God!” 40 There were also women looking on from afar, among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the Less and of Joses and Salome, 41 who also followed Him and ministered to Him when He was in Galilee and many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem.

As Jesus hung on the Cross, & darkness took over for 3 hours, the depths Jesus went was the very place where Lazarus was placed in the Bosom of Abraham.  Noise filled the place, & vicious hatred came out against Jesus. Only His body remaining on the Cross, his soul was taken by the dogs of damnation to be punished because of man’s sin. Yes, when Jesus cried out “It is Finished”, those that filled the depths of hell came to take Jesus to hell. The ground shook as the bulls of Bashan came out. The stout-hearted devil angels of hell held Jesus in Sheol.    Deut. 32:22-24 For a fire is kindled in mine anger and shall burn unto the lowest hell[Sheol]…they shall be burnt with hunger, & devoured with burning heat, & with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with poison of serpents of the dust. Amos 5:18-19 For what good is the day of the LORD to you? It will be darkness & not light. It will be as though a man fled from a lion & a bear met him! & a serpent bit him! That takes place in hell is the evil demonic force in their hatred of men made in the image of God is horrific. The extent of your anger & hate is the depth of your flame!

Mark 16: 1 Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. 2 Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tome when the sun had risen. 3 And they said themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” 4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away----for it was very large. 5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white role sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. 6 But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. 7 But go, tell His disciples-----and Peter-----that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.” 8 So they went out quickly and fled from the tome, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

Nothing was found in Jesus to crucify Him on the Cross. They chose the “world”, they chose Barabbas! That Passover day in AD 31, there was a guilty "son of the father"—Barabbas—and a totally innocent "Son of the Father"—Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  Ancient texts say that Barabbas' full name was Jesus Barabbas. If that is correct—and it may be—then the crowd picked the wrong Jesus to be freed! Is that not typical of human nature? On our own, we too would choose the wrong savior and doom ourselves to bondage to sin and death rather than freedom from sin and eternal life (John 6:44; Romans 2:4).

Our faith is to be in Jesus! He stood before the Pharisees and the governor Pilate! He stood and spoke nothing to bring accusation to Him. Man brought false accusations.

Mark 16:5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. 6 But he said to them, “Do not alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. 7 But go, tell His disciples-----and Peter-----that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.” 8 So they went out quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

Awestruck: an angel appearing to them. He is clothed in a long white robe. He brought alarm to those seeing him. Anyone seeking Jesus: He is not here. But is risen. Jesus of Nazareth is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples and Peter. He is going before you into Galilee. There YOU will see Him as He said to you.

Jesus was on the move. He was not held by nails, nor a Roman cross! Coming and finding an open tomb, they were bringing spices to bind that which was now dead for the bones to appear. But an angel, with lightning appearance spoke to them. An angel who had no work to open that tomb to some light. He spoke instructions that Jesus had given earlier to them. Tell His disciples and tell Peter. Jesus would see them in Galilee.  Jesus would appear to them and His wounds would verify His last moments on the Cross! He gave instructions to them. Scatter they did, and scatter they will do today. If they scatter like the disciples, as they did then, they will do now. For many hide to not be found, but Jesus is alive and He expects us to deliver His message. For things changed certainly, but Jesus is alive and His message is important to live and declare His very works to the lost. We will do this to the end of the age!

His is exclusive and not inclusive. His kingdom is truth and only His truth. We listen, we obey and become more like Him, to abide in the kingdom of God that is coming. We abide in His truth now, knowing people stood against Him then and they will do it again in this time. But God is everlasting. His truth endures to all generations.

This woman of Jewish heritage made it known she came through Holocaust. Praise the Lord. She waits for Jesus. We are to be diligent and honest in our search for a true shepherd of the church of God. It is everyone's responsibility. It is imperative that we find a fold where we can be properly fed and where we can serve. The enemy has scattered the flock through the extensive doctrinal changes, and God has permitted it for our good.

Faith holds us together in His grace. But only Jesus leads us. And man should know the Lord by his heart. WE are to remain constant in our call and the place God has placed us. How necessary this is in the heart and life of every believer. Yet, in many of the churches of our land; the radio and TV programs together with statements and articles coming from the lips and pens of the most popular and influential “Christian leaders” in our day make it crystal clear that “church growth” and “success” in the eyes of men has replaced absolute fidelity to the Word of God! The Word of God is never replaced. Men move from the peace of God to living outside Him in their own sufficiency.

We as believers who refuse to bow the knee to Baal—those who will not go along with the crowd are a great blessing and encouragement. WE hear from and correspond with an increasing number of others of like precious faith and we give thanks to God our Father in Jesus’ name. As we believers increase in that developing spiritual discernment  as the group in the Lord, we will no longer follow and support those leaders who glorify the psychological approach and depend upon every trick of modern advertising and salesmanship to broaden their sphere of influence and increase their prestige and following. We are thankful that God always maintains and sustains His faithful remnant in every generation.

Awestruck, yes, that God Himself sent the Son of His love, to bring the presence of the Father to a lost people, to bring Holy Spirit for change and bring the doctrine of life for us to become the image of our Father God. Awestruck, an angel appeared, Jesus not there, but Jesus alive and speaking, eating and enjoying His disciples. Jesus alive with wounds of the world to point to way in Him to heaven, to hearing His voice and know the truth. It was a babe in a manger, a twelve year old with God’s wisdom, it was signs and wonders to the interest of God for people, it was the blood shed for humanity and it was love that ruled through it all.

Awestruck! If God be for us, who can be against us?

The Gathering

Gatherings are wonderful! Like families gathering for meals together as in holidays or someone’s anniversary brings much laughter and joy. And what do we gather ourselves to in respect to obeying God and His instruction? Will we obey willingly or let something slide because we think we know better than God?

I have been thinking about Noah and his Ark! The design of Father God to carry His own above the flood waters that would occur and given to His man Noah. Was hearing this pastor give a teaching this past weekend ( being Passover or Resurrection Sunday), and I was in awe that he could speak that God told him to build a certain number of buildings but he just was not sure when God would come for His own. His hesitation seemed to become a metal door in the room where light should dispel darkness, and a refreshing be experienced among all attending, but alas only heavy metal doors slamming shut is felt there in that room. But in this atmosphere, you find a man who says he is of God and for God, is not willing to build because the Lord is RETURNING soon!

If I could have been standing in front of this man, I would have reminded him of Noah and when God told him to build the ark, telling him what the materials would be in Genesis 6 and why He was having Noah build the ark. Then in Genesis 7, God told Noah and his family to come aboard. Well, the Ark had to be finished for all to come aboard. Why, God would not have animals or people come aboard, if it were not expected to be completed!

This has a lot to do with obedience to the voice of God! It has everything to do with the heart.  And the act of building for the completed thing God asked for should be evident to be finished. The beasts and creeping plus birds of every sort went into the Ark. Male and Female entered, not trans anything, but man and woman entered the Ark. And the Floods began! The water increased and lifted up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. The waters prevailed and greatly increased on the earth, and the ark moved about on the surface of the waters.

Oh, that man would know that he too, can ride on God’s water of the word and find safety above the waves of chaos and anarchy, trusting God in His very presence.

God called Noah to come! Genesis 7:1 Then the LORD said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation. Genesis 8:1 Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth and the waters subsided. 2 The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were also stopped and the rain from heaven was restrained. Genesis 9:1 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth and on all the fish of sea. They are given into your hand.

Clearly evident God gives instruction and what man does with it is seen! The best part is that of the animals, the birds, yes, the beasts of the earth would fear man. Have you noticed today, that a bear will take out a man on a bike on a pathway or how close birds swoop down close to where you walk or stand? We saw this news report on a television news station out of Portland, Oregon where owls were swooping down to pick up small dogs and attack their owners. This has been going on in the last two years.

In Revelation 19:17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “come and gather together for the supper of the great God, 18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small, and great.

Yikes, there is a grisly feast coming to earth. A victory indeed, but a great contrast to the marriage supper of the Lamb. ( Ezekiel 39:17-20)

Was reading an article earlier today of the people in one Florida neighborhood who dealt with grasshoppers the size of a small child’s hand, who would hiss and make violent actions of their bodies toward people. Yes, these were angry grasshoppers! These appeared one day to vegetate on the green plants, especially on the broad green leaves, next to a business and teaching area in one Florida city. These grasshoppers had morphed into a creature that regular spray would not hurt them. The recommendation was given that volunteers could trample these violent intruders. So the men located teens to trample the hostile grasshoppers that were wrecking havoc on this once peaceful place. It took some time, but it worked.

I remember as a child, when a flying band of locusts invaded our community. Everywhere one walked, the person would initiate a crunch under their feet and most likely be hit in the face by several of the loud low-flying intruders. One evening our dad took us for a ride around the city square and the ground around this city justice building was black in color and moving. The roadway and lawn was covered with locusts who made loud noises and great leaps into the air while eating. They continued their feast while people tried to make their way from destination A to their appointed destination B. That was a smelly clean up when these invaders left for the greener side of the hill. It could last for days, but many a person was happy when these intruders moved on down the road!

What are the fruits of this pastor that he is not willing to start his work  project fearing the Lord’s return? Do we look at the whole picture from the biblical point that God was in the Beginning, He was there at the Cross, and He is present in the now of today: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. God is NOW! He has no timetable or schedule in the spiritual of God. God has given each of us abilities to use in the here and now. To whom much is given, much is required, and so the pastor will have to answer for his use of those gifts God has placed within him.

1 Peter 5:1-3 NKJV  1 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: 2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;

The apostle Peter called Jesus "the Chief Shepherd" (I Peter 5:4). But this same Peter also admonished earth-bound men, elders of the church, to be shepherds to the church of God. But this shepherd is not following the Lord’s instructions! What occurs is the possible falling away of the flock who have seen an example of the pastor in past years, but today, he chooses his own way!

Instruction is so important. Those attending school should be learning to read, write and do some math, but many are left to see pictures and not learn any words at all to write. How can one become a writer and write that which he observes if he has no function in reading nor writing? The pastor has an example of doing his own thing and not the Lord’s thing. One gives death and the other gives life!

Faith is always called upon by Jesus: “go and wash in the pool of Siloam.” A man who never had his sight, received the miracle instantaneous when he obeyed Jesus. And it was Jesus who preformed miracles that provoked all kinds of questions in the hearts of men.

John 9:1-41 NKJV Now as Jesus passed by, he saw a man who was blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents that he was born blind?”

John 9: 3 Jesus answered, “ Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.” 4 “I (WE) must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.” 5 “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”  6 When He had said these things, he spat on the ground & made clay with the saliva; & He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. 7 And He said to him, “Go wash in the pool of Siloam” ( which is translated, Sent). So he went & washed & came back seeing. 8 Therefore the neighbors & those who previously had seen that he was blind said, “ Is not this he who sat & begged?” 9 Some said, “This is he.” Others said, “He is like him.” He said, “I am he.” 10 Therefore they said to him, “how were your eyes opened?” 11 He answered & said, “A Man called Jesus made clay & anointed my eyes & said to me. ‘Go to the pool of Siloam & wash.’ So I went & washed & I received sight. 12 Then they said to him, “Where is He?” He said, “I do not know.”

Jesus put His DNA on this man and the man could see. He had given the blind man instruction. He anointed the blind man’s eyes and then sent the man to the pool of Siloam. It was obeying His instructions that were given to see clearly.

Confessing that His kingdom has come is understanding that grace of God where His unmerited favor and blessing appeared for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind. In this Gospel we are trained to reject and renounce all ungodliness and worldly desires to live discreet, upright, spiritually whole lives in this present world awaiting and yes looking for our blessed hope our anointed Savior Christ Jesus the anointed One. We are to obey the Lord’s instructions and build when He speaks “build”.

Yes, the Lord will return and He should find us operating in faith and not standing around twiddling our thumbs. Today we confess the Divine Nature of Jesus. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

If the Lord has need of some buildings on His return, might we be diligent and faithful in heart to do it for His glory. Noah built an ark. And the time came to fill it. When the Lord comes to fill that pastor’s structures, the people will most likely have to stand outside in the weather: hot, cold, warm, and frigid indeed. Are we obeying His instructions to build, to send out by encouragement and give place for Him in prayer and worship, not with an opera singer nor with an orchestra, but fill the air with worship to Him who is so worthy to be praised.

Might you and I be able to confess  John 9: 1-for a man who would contribute to the glory of God confessed to do the instructions and confessed the divine nature of Jesus. He gave faith to these words when He said: John 9: 30“Why, this is a marvelous thing, that you do not know where He is from; yet He has opened my eyes!” 31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. 32 Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind. 33 If this man were not from God, He could do nothing.”

Jesus is in the pastor and is within your heart. Let us obey God and be excited that He chose us to be in His family that we might be a person of delight to tell the unbeliever, “if this man were not from God, He could do nothing.  May our doing be of the Lord and people will know that God is with us, just like He was Noah, and David, and the saints in the book of Revelation. Amen and Amen.

Now What Did They Write on that Last Message and What Did They Hear?

Picture taken by R. Twiner
Was 3 a. m. and I was awaken by the Holy Spirit. This was early Saturday morning (7th) and I was hearing what people had read in their "tweets", their "emails", and on texts within their phones!
I heard His voice and He spoke "what will they remember of that one connection?"
Of course, my answer was, " I would not remember it unless it was earthshaking and life changing!"

I rolled over in bed, looked intently at the wall and I had the thought of those who were on Flight 93 from the September 11, 2001 attack on the U.S. The flight was a domestic and carried passengers. Taken by hijackers, it was set to head for Washington D.C. Yet, it crashed many miles from where it took off from. In the county near Somerset in Pennsylvania, the place of impact of the plane was found. The brave people of that flight took control, and with that regained control, they took it to a place where no other lives would be lost. When the Flight ended on the edge of a reclaimed coal strip mining field, some calls had been made to those who knew no problems or tribulations were occurring that would affect their entire lives and most likely forever.
One recorded voice of a man spoke, "let's roll!"

Yes, many spoke of his last words and many spoke on news reports of those last recorded messages left on cell phones with calls home to loved ones this one last time, and I'm certain in these many years, someone could probably remember what that last recorded call spoke to them. But the one I heard, was this:"let's roll!"

Would you remember what someone tweeted to you last week or even last year? What message can you recall on offhand?
So in the dark early Saturday morning, I thought of the ones I had received. One was from my brother-in-law about our step-dad passing suddenly and the other when my mother passed last year. But of tweets, or texts, I just do not remember them unless they impact my life!

What was it about that group of passengers of Flight 93, that they fought the enemy and took control only to find they would crash somewhere far from their homes? I believe they wanted to live, but also believe they wanted no one else to die. What kind of courage does it take and what kind of faith in God is required for us to move out of complacency into "warrior mode"?

I do not know about you, but I am "really tired" of dealing with goofy stuff from the enemy. I am profoundly set to highly esteem, and give glory to God Who created me and in that created me to be healthy and whole.
Proverbs 18:21....death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].
Do we really understand the importance of our words. We can speak them, text them, tweet them, and some merely think on words. And what fruit are they producing? Is that messaging to bless another or is it to show anger to another?

"Let's Roll!" means to me, we are not done, there is still some fighting to do! The people, those passengers from Flight 93 had homes to get to, families to see and yet they fought the enemy in the skies over some major parts of the East.

I think of hearing God speak to me in the early hours of Saturday morning and remembering all the people I came in contact with the previous few days in the 1st week of January 2017.
Is our communicating just a low level type of communication or are we really putting forth a real effort to touch another with God's love?

My husband has been reading from the Bible some scriptures that involve faith. He was reading in a commentary last night, and I was moved by what this man had written. Ah yes, just his opinion and yet I was drawn back to those "mere words written and spoken". I was drawn to this teaching about the woman with the issue of blood and the man Jairus asking for Jesus to just speak the Word and his daughter would be healed. For even Jairus knew as a leader and one in authority, he recognized authority speaking to him. And he believed Jesus as He spoke.
I do not know who reads these and I know not who might be helped from them. But I know that when we speak God's Word, and when we keep it in our hearts we grow in our authority to speak to situations, and yes tribulations. We can speak to wind and say, "Peace, be still!" And we can speak to our neighbor and give them the hope of God and give them His love when no one has shown them anything but anger and hate!

The gentleman who wrote this commentary taught how faith is a 'TOUCH', where the flesh of many a person within a throng........just a group who gather, cluster together, swarm and never 'Touch' by faith.

I do not want to be a throng: who travel just to see the next thing, text my thoughts, but actually to let someone know I (or we) are thinking of them. For those on 9-11.......certainly faced tragedies, personal losses and some the loss of husband or wife or both. For someone can and will send the never-ending voice of the enemy that will always murmur despair and bitterness. But we are to be a force of people standing together in one heart after God and who live through the eyes and ears of our spirit.
Allowing God to try our thoughts, then our attitude is in worship of Him, our thoughts care not who sings or can't sing, but that we gather together to hear the Word of God preached that esteems God, brings honor to Him, and shows us to be distinctly  different.

I remember not long ago, that in leadership all must be on the same page. Yet, if  each in leadership within the same meeting have different texts of the Bible say NIV, KJV and the Living Bible, each will read a little different but carry the same subject.
But if you ask all within the meeting to turn to page 1096 in their Bible, they each would have something different listed on that specific page.

Allowing God to search us, and our hearts thoroughly, we will keep His words and lose ours. When our hearts become the pure, then we speak and minister to another pure words. ( see Psalm 139:23)

It is getting to know and allowing Him access will we actually see His Words bring life to us.
Was at the Dr.'s office on Thursday. Routine, blood checked, hemoglobin checked, and asked specific questions. Next appointment mentioned.  Fine, lets get to the checkout from this appointment. While walking to the checkout area, I could hear a lady speaking. Her voice spoke softly of her friend who had just passed. Just spoke of how sick she had gotten in such short time, but God allowed her access to help her. No family close by this dying woman of a young age. The only family lived many miles away and had just come and left many days before the final testing came on the dying woman. So this woman speaking held my attention, not specifically by her words, but by God Himself when He showed me her heart. And she has a heart that is filled with the God-kind of love.
The woman had stayed with her young friend, Took her home from the testing, made her comfortable. Put on the favorite teachings of Jesus, and played two of her favorite HYMNS.  And within those few hours the woman transitioned to meet Jesus. God had sent this lovely older woman to minister life to her and in those hours of finding out her fate, she was going to pass with no one there. But this "angel", God had sent was seeing she was cared for. Within those days of Christmas, while families were meeting, while they gathered to eat some really grand food and open packages, this woman saw to the "younger" ones cremation. In those days, this older woman now relayed her story and God allowed ME to SEE her heart!
Trying to finish with the checkout from appointment........I finally got in the waiting room to leave. And I made my way through the "throng" of people and I reached to touch her shoulder and encourage her for what she had done and that God loved her and was with her. I encouraged in His love and she leapt out of her chair and flung her arms around my neck, and we embraced. With tears streaming down her face, mine, my husbands and some others in the throng, she pulled back with a smile and her face was well-lit. She exclaimed His goodness and then the Lord told me to tell her to remain in His peace. She kept saying thank you numerous times. I patted her shoulder once more, turned toward the door, but I could still see her heart. And she loved!

What message might they remember and what will they hear? Will they be words of God's love and praise to Him and how He loves His children? What message will you write with your life? What will your life speak to others? Will it be like the throng of words spoken every day or will they really make an impact on others?
It is up to you. But it is time to ....go forward, with God oozing through our pores that others will know that we have been with Jesus. Amen!
