Man of War

Exodus 15: 3 The LORD is a man of war; The LORD is His name.

David spoke in Psalm 27....The LORD is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Obedient are those who have a covenant relationship with God the LORD. One of the blessings enjoyed as in obedience,  one adhering to His words and thoughts. For they are higher than us!

Jesus came the first time as the obedient in faith to God's gospel. He came to represent God and spread the Good News of that gospel! When He returns He will seek those who are obedient to that Word of God.

Ephesians 2:8  NKJV   For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

Faith's importance to salvation is accentuated by this verse. Faith plays a role in the entire process until we enter the Kingdom of God. It is the sum of what God is doing in our lives: "Jesus answered and said to them, 'This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent'" (John 6:29).

In the fourth and fifth chapters of Romans, Paul mentions faith a dozen times, almost all concerning justification, being made righteous or having access to grace, and thus, having the hope of the glory of God.

The faith that saves has its beginning when God, on His own initiative, calls us (John 6:44) and leads us to repentance (Romans 2:4). He does this by His Spirit guiding us into all truth (John 16:7-14). Stirring up our minds to knowledge, His Spirit enables us to perceive from a perspective we never before seriously considered. This, combined with the confrontation that occurs with the carnal mind when we are forced to choose what to do with this precious truth, gives birth to a living faith, a faith that works, a faith that walks in godliness.

This Gift then shows the way. We sin, then repent seriously and honestly in our hearts to believe the Lord by His Holy Spirit can direct our way into that holy walk! Once this appears as "little things" and not serious, then it is that faith which stops being cultivated, then injustice begins to appear in more serious areas, such as increased crime, divorce, abortion, suicide, and the like. Morality plunges and the people move farther and farther from godly morals and values. And when God sees no repentance in sight, His wrath is not long in coming.

Jesus delivered truth and we are to abide in that truth! Too many are changing truth for lies today!
Today men can be women with some tweaks. No, only God made man and He made them male and female. Injustice appears everywhere. It is a heart thing to lament remembrance of what was decades ago now lies in streets of falsehood and despair!

There is a word given the last few months of an asteroid or planet moving into our solar system.            (31/Atlas) This month of October marks it's pass by Mars. Interesting enough Mars means war! Then it moves past the sun and earth. It is suppose to be through our solar system by end of October.   This could cause damage to a planet in our system and to people here on earth. Any debris caused by an impact can cause darkness of the sun. And if this is not enough, people on earth in certain areas have taken upon themselves to take ground water to water plants and fill reservoirs. (like California and Arizona)  As a result, here a hill stood in 1988 is lowered and now causes a person to stand above that hill. That land has sunk to under one's feet today. A woman is shown given to measurements of such displacement. (On Insight on the Impact Channel, Steve Cochran.) To displacement of terra frima will bring calamity. A word given here in twenty-first century, John Paul Jackson stated there would be a great quake. There would be change in California and Missouri. John Kilpatrick also was given a vision of California and of the Great Madrid Fault. His is one that  terrifies. Of these, we are told that there would be a mouth opened to water between San Diego and Los Angeles. This would account for many being swallowed by calamitous disaster over the western region and Pacific Ocean! Got your suits ready for long time swimming?

Man is making the very ground he stands on to be anything but stable! What's more enlightening is that Russia now has a missile that can cause a tsunami some 500 feet high. (Yes, taller than the Empire State Building in New York City) They started testing such devices back in 2022. ( Insight with Steve Cochran on the Impact Channel)

IN meditating on Ephesians 2:8 Paul is not simply giving a description of that beginning of faith., He gives a look at the progress to be made by faith throughout a person's conversion. We have strength when we hear and believe. Salvation is a grace thing. And through that faith, we have a gift given to us to not only hear and obey but redirect our lives to that word of God always!

AND Who are we expecting at His return? He was the mild man, He without sin, He loving His neighbors as He did, and becoming the sacrifice for mankind. We are told to keep that progression through that faith given us and live a life that is wondrous and active! He even asks in John 16:8 if faith would be found at His return.

Again, where do we reside, in righteousness or dust of the earth? In Amos 5:7 the word states, " You who turn justice to wormwood, and lay righteousness to rest in the earth!" NKJV    .....Also a similar verse stands out in Amos 6:12........it connects justice and righteousness. That we should know the fruit of righteousness is justice. It is fair treatment, not only in the courts but in every walk of life.  Here righteousness is the standard, yet this banner is now thrown to the ground. They rested in their untrained consciences. Being their own guides in life...it was " anything goes".

In a study of human culture and human development, many sociologists and anthropologists have agreed that every society is made up of seven pillars: (1) religion, (2) family, (3) business, (4) education, (5) government, (6) arts, and (7) media. The latter five of business, education, government, arts and media make up what is called the "marketplace." And the Great Commission that Jesus Christ gave is not only for us to preach in every geographical nation, but to engage the social order within that territory, especially that of the marketplace. To do that, the Church has to be relevant and contemporary to the cultural context God has planted it in.

Without righteousness each of these goes away.  Now while righteousness is inward, justice is out-going, concerning even such "trivial" things as being neat and orderly. Can one not notice how much trash litters our highways and graffiti mars our cities and our highways ? And we know that no law of God specifically regulates our driving, but is it not fair and just to be considerate of others on the road? Certainly God's law has to do with being thoughtful, gracious, tactful, and discreet, all of which are founded on one of its basic principles, the Golden Rule (Matthew 7:12). Does anyone remember the Golden Rule?

Things are changing rapidly! Ground under us is shifting downwards as to getting ready for the next quake! Morality continues to plunge downward. It is a people choosing to farther themselves from godly virtues and values. When no repentance is found in His sight, His wrath is coming indeed! And He will use high waves of water, and deep crevasses in the earth to testify to His faithfulness. He will allow to come on people what they have worshiped indeed!

Look out where you step and how you live!

Is There a Lion in Your Street?

Proverbs 26:13  NKJV   The lazy man says, "There is a lion in the road! A fierce lion is in the streets.

In the streets refers to the main squares or plazas of a city!

In the Passion Translation found in Proverbs 28:15  "Ruthless rulers can only be compared to raging lions and roaming bears." "Abusive leaders fail to employ wisdom, but leaders who despise corruption will enjoy a long and full life.

A sloth man is the lazy man. They see the changes in their city and even neighborhood but do nothing to change it. They never vote thinking their vote will not count. They complain to the high heavens about the injustice but stay put in their easy chair.

Proverbs 19: 15 Laziness casts one into a deep sleep. And an idle person will suffer hunger.

Slothfulness will cause you to sleep when you should be working.. There is a tragedy in idleness. Proverbs 24:30 I went by the filed of the lazy man, and by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding; 31 And there it was, all overgrown with thorns; Its surface was covered with nettles; Its stone wall was broken down. 32 When I say it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction: 33 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest; 34 So shall your poverty come like a prowler, and your need like an armed man.

We are warned in 1 John 2:15-16 to not love the world of Satan's creation because it is a huge reservoir of influences to accomplish our own ambitions and not God’s plan. The Pharisee was blinded & his spiritual condition suffered. He could not see God nor hear His voice! He did not recognize that the kingdom had come to him!  Jeremiah 49:16  “Your fierceness has deceived you, the pride of your heart, O you who dwell in the clefts of the rock who hold the height of the hill! Though you make your nest as high as the eagle, I will bring you down from there,” says the LORD.  One of pride's most destructive fruits is self-deception. It is that blindness to one's own spiritual condition. It strongly tends to produce a sense of infallibility, Innerrancy, or unreliability

People not knowing wisdom of God rely on their own abilities and imaginations. Today it is someone relying on other helps like government and not God!

Passion Translation Proverbs 19:24 There are some people who pretend they are hurt----deadbeats who will not even work to feed themselves.

Proverbs 26: 13 Passion Translation The lazy loafer says, " I can't go out and look for a job-----there may be a lion out there roaming wild in the streets!" 14 As a door is hinged to the wall, so the lazy man keeps turning over, hinged to his bed!  15 There are some people so lazy they won't even work to feed themselves. 16 A self-righteous person is convinced he's smarter than seven wise counselors who tell him the truth.

Hebrews 5:13  for everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. Those slothful in their attitude of hearing have a hard time!

Saw a man pull out an easy chair in the Gaze Strip when it was bombed. People told to leave the area but no, they were taking their "Chances" in this ruins of Gaza. Today there are hundreds with their big pans all in line for FOOD!  Told to leave so clean up can begin....no those leaving in the ruins will stay until pushed out. Sad! Many today here in America do the same. They like their way of living and doing! Leave for an area that is growing in the seed of God's WORD. Go to where you are embraced for your love of God and not by how much you own. Remember God loves you and so do WE!

Continue to read and pray the word of God. Continue to walk in the light of Him. Keep your eyes on the Lord and know He has called you out not to be a wimp but a lion who walks in His ways that are everlasting! Amen.

Who Are the OPPRESSED?

Galatians 6:7-10
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.   NKJV

Sowing is God's idea. John 12:24-26
24 I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
NIV

Sowing a good seed, that is planted as in gardening, will die and bring up a crop....it produces many seeds. Here in this scripture, Jesus was telling them that we are to hate that which is of the flesh.........that life we know so "naturally", but that which is of the spirit will follow Jesus and will live where He does forever!

And reading on that flesh nature, one would really not want to sow that which is just "trouble".
Romans 6:13-14
13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead ( flesh nature), and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
NKJV
Romans 8:12-13
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors--not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
NKJV

For whatever we sow to in the flesh, we will certainly reap. You allow someone to come out of a gas station or convenience store ahead of you who is on the main road, and do that several times...........you find you have a harvest coming to you when you find yourself coming out of a convenience store in 5 pm traffic and the line of cars is too many to count or even see to the end of the line..................and..........suddenly........... an opening appears, the man has paused the traffic, he waves you onto the main road in front of him, and "happy day" you are on your way home sooner than later. Doing good to others is something we need to keep watch over! That means even in situations of someone being ugly to you, calling you names or attacking your character. Jesus was attacked in the same way. The religious folks of that day certainly attacked Him, did they not?
Mark 3:4-6
4 Then Jesus asked them, "Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?" But they remained silent.

5 He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. 6 Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.
NIV

In writing this today I was shocked by watching a report from this state in which a police officer was being fired because of his handling of a situation involving an 16 year old (or 18 year old). (the news reports changes from channel to channel on the age) Some fifty percent thought he was being violent and the other fifty percent thought he handled it accurately as the teen......considered old enough in most states to know better was told she was leaving school because of bad attitude to teacher and Administrative person. (something about using her cell phone during class time) I could not fathom such behavior toward someone in authority. In the year I graduated from high school, you certainly did not talk back to the Superintendent nor did you speak ill to your teacher. Such behavior was brought up to the parents of the misbehaving student, male or female, and was going to be handled directly by expulsion from school and for some, that expulsion was forever. I would never had thought of doing such an act at school or anywhere else. First of all, I would not have been able to sit for a week, and I would have been made to apologize to those I spoke ill to. Oh, did I mention I would probably had my mouth washed out with lava soap?

I remember a couple different students in the school I attended who were singled out because of their behavior during class time and what was not acceptable,  they were told to get their things together including books and or coat/jacket..........and when that door opened to the hallway, "the" said student was leaving the classroom and the school! Finished, dealt with and the classroom was back to order and the teacher was teaching the class again without any interruptions. What I saw in those days that happened was a defiant student disregarding authority!

For some reason I had this thought as well. Maybe because October is the Halloween craze time! I thought of the Mary Shelley's book on Frankenstein. (you know they show it a lot, and make it available right now) The "thing" that man created was to live by applying electricity. This being created surely walked by that power......was made to live, but became violent because of loneliness. Because the being had no one like them to love them..........and then I thought of this teen........that one a "lonely one"......is there no love?

Immediately I wanted to pray for the entire group of people who were involved in something that cost a man his job............and the teacher and Administrative person to lose authority. This world has certainly turned upside down!
I kept thinking of the scripture of reaping the whirlwind.........Proverbs 1:20-33
20 Wisdom shouts in the streets for a hearing. 21 She calls out to the crowds along Main Street, and to the judges in their courts, and to everyone in all the land: 22 "You simpletons!" she cries. "How long will you go on being fools? How long will you scoff at wisdom and fight the facts? 23 Come here and listen to me! I'll pour out the spirit of wisdom upon you and make you wise. 24 I have called you so often, but still you won't come. I have pleaded, but all in vain. 25 For you have spurned my counsel and reproof. 26 Some day you'll be in trouble, and I'll laugh! Mock me, will you?-I'll mock you! 27 When a storm of terror surrounds you, and when you are engulfed by anguish and distress, 28 then I will not answer your cry for help. It will be too late though you search for me ever so anxiously.

29 "For you closed your eyes to the facts and did not choose to reverence and trust the Lord, 30 and you turned your back on me, spurning my advice. 31 That is why you must eat the bitter fruit of having your own way and experience the full terrors of the pathway you have chosen. 32 For you turned away from me-to death; your own complacency will kill you. Fools! 33 But all who listen to me shall live in peace and safety, unafraid."   TLB

Those who abide in the Lord (John 15), all who listen to the Wisdom of God shall live in peace and safety, unafraid.  My concern here and it goes back to sowing that seed to the "flesh" is that what happens say in a year or two...........what if that school has some  call out for help ........a call out to the police station, but they have none! What if a "shooter" shows up............and those who have spurned counsel and reproof to do their own thing........mock the police and others in authority. then....how long before the table is turned for that which is of the ""bitter fruit".........and trouble comes there, but there is no help for them because of what is going on across this country?  What if they "need" help from some kind of law enforcement and there are none to call on to give the needed "HELP"?

Yes, people have to be treated fairly and expect to be heard, but not at the expense of someone being hurt when being taken from a classroom and not at the expense of someone losing their job.
Scripture tells us in Proverbs 1.......that trouble will come.............to those who have turned away from the life in God to death in the pathway which reveals the flesh creature.........doing our own thing, something we choose because we "want" to do it!
From the blog: BUTTING AND DISTURBING: But God is to be our justice. Sometimes people just rise up to do some "unthinkable" things to get their say, their way and their voice heard for the 15 minutes or such, but we can call on God to hear us when we have some complaint. When we have something going on, then we must take it to God for the answer!

Proverbs 23:29-35....29 Who has woe?
Who has sorrow?
Who has contentions?
Who has complaints?
Who has wounds without cause?
Who has redness of eyes?
30 Those who linger long at the wine.
Those who go in search of mixed wine.
31 Do not look on the wine when it is red,
When it sparkles in the cup,
When it swirls around smoothly;
32 At the last it bites like a serpent,
And stings like a viper.

33 Your eyes will see strange things,
And your heart will utter perverse things.
34 Yes, you will be like one who lies down in the midst of the sea,
Or like one who lies at the top of the mast, saying:
35"They have struck me, but I was not hurt;
They have beaten me, but I did not feel it.
When shall I awake, that I may seek another drink.?" NKJV

What terrible problems that come when we desire or want what we either should not have, or do not need. It is like becoming intoxicated with the thing "we so desire" to have or control, to have "my way" or add to our collection of things we think we need at the time! And being intoxicated with those desires, our want can cause us to start those quarrels that end nowhere, but in the place of many wounds JUST because "we want that thing"! In some respect, some will even go searching for those who will join in with them to agree for that "thing desired". And however good the appearance or the thing may sound at the time of our desire, one will certainly know after some time has gone by, that it can come back to bite you in a big way!

What we sow to, we will reap!
Yes, seems things have turned chaotic. We certainly need His judgment today and the mercy that comes from and through the Cross of Jesus Christ. I am one person, but I am a praying person, who prays out to God to save our youth today, save them before it is too late, that their lives are not lost forever. I pray out that people who have a walk with God will turn their prayers from we four and no more, to prayers for God, His justice, safety for our youth, for millions not to be blinded by the avalanche that has covered this land.
This entire world is in danger. It is a world gazing upon man and not on God the Creator of the heavens and the earth.

Again, I look back in the day and time I was raised in the south and attended school. As children, we were all expected to have respect for our parents, teachers, and especially those in authority. We were expected to obey the instructions given us. I certainly know as a youth growing up in the south that when I gave respect to others, I received respect back to me. I certainly saw it in giving it to the elder population in our community of which I lived. And certainly things have changed from my youth and my daughter's youth, with sex offenders and pedophile's making the nightly news. You have all kinds of predators today that did not either exist or just were not made known till now, either way, we need God's wisdom for these situations.
I believe that when we are raised in hearing the word of God, and that can start for any of us at any age, we are setting ourselves, our children and their children to rise above the "things" of the world and move through this life, this journey in victory.

But when we start telling God we do not want Him in our schools or we do not want prayer in the council meetings, we have a problem. Do we not see? Can we not fathom the chaos that will come to light when we continue to lift man's image and his mental knowledge............that he knows more..........than God does?
No, in watching the news today, we can certainly see man being served!
In Proverbs 21:16.........we are told "the man who strays away from common sense will end up dead"! And in Proverbs 21:23...."keep your mouth closed and you'll stay out of trouble".  TLB

God certainly sees.......He watches over the evil and the good. Finding the "good" in all this can seem complicated. The best thing here, is to stay close to God, follow His direction and trust that He is for you. In all that is in heaven, on earth and under the earth  ( Philippians 2:9-11)..........at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow............to the glory of God the Father. Amen.

In closing: Proverbs 15:26.....26 The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD, But the words of the pure are pleasant. NKJV
Psalm 118:8-9
8 It is better to trust the Lord than to put confidence in men. 9 It is better to take refuge in him than in the mightiest king!
TLB

Those who follow after righteousness, those in right standing with God have pure words that are pleasant! (they are a joy to be around) They will encourage you, love God and always have a testimony of faith on the goodness of God in their lives!

EAT WHAT I GIVE YOU!

Acts 18:9-11
9 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, "Don't be afraid! Speak out! Don't quit! 10 For I am with you and no one can harm you. Many people here in this city belong to me." 11 So Paul stayed there the next year and a half, teaching the truths of God.   TLB

Acts 18:9-11
9 Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, "Do not be afraid, but speak, & do not keep silent; 10 for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city." 11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.  NKJV

IN the above passage we find, the Lord telling Paul in a vision to not be afraid. "Speak out!" "Don't Quit"!

There was no synagogue open for him to minister and preach the Word, so God saw to it that a house would be opened for the Word to be taught.
How interesting is that?
And this house was located next door to the synagogue. It was opportunity for Paul's speaking to continue and that those who went to the synagogue could come hear the gospel preached.

For what lay ahead for Paul in those coming against him, would rear its ugly head and reveal all those who were against Paul and that which he taught. In that year and a half, Paul did just what the Lord asked him to do.

Acts 18:12-26
12 While Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews made a united attack on Paul and brought him into court. 13 "This man," they charged, "is persuading the people to worship God in ways contrary to the law."

14 Just as Paul was about to speak, Gallio said to the Jews, "If you Jews were making a complaint about some misdemeanor or serious crime, it would be reasonable for me to listen to you. 15 But since it involves questions about words and names and your own law-settle the matter yourselves. I will not be a judge of such things." 16 So he had them ejected from the court. 17 Then they all turned on Sosthenes the synagogue ruler and beat him in front of the court. But Gallio showed no concern whatever.

18 Paul stayed on in Corinth for some time. Then he left the brothers and sailed for Syria, accompanied by Priscilla and Aquila. Before he sailed, he had his hair cut off at Cenchrea because of a vow he had taken. 19 They arrived at Ephesus, where Paul left Priscilla and Aquila. He himself went into the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews. 20 When they asked him to spend more time with them, he declined. 21 But as he left, he promised, "I will come back if it is God's will." Then he set sail from Ephesus. 22 When he landed at Caesarea, he went up and greeted the church and then went down to Antioch.

23 After spending some time in Antioch, Paul set out from there and traveled from place to place throughout the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.

24 Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures. 25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.  NIV

Here we see a group decidedly making accusations against Paul.(verse 14)  They brought Paul in to complain. These Jews said that Paul was teaching something contrary to what they knew and that he Paul was starting a new religion. At that time, Judaism was recognized as a religion in Roman law and anything outside of that was breaking the law.

But Gallio found no false teaching in all that Paul spoke. Gallio refused to give judgment against Paul in this matter. The Jews then were so mad at this decision that they turned on Sosthenes and beat him.

It is evident that these Jews had malice in their heart toward Paul. It is also evident that Gallio was not going to be apart of this group of haters toward Paul.
In some commentaries it says that Gallio was not interested in those things and would not elaborate or give much time for these things the Jews complained about. Other commentaries said Gallio was just a mild mannered man who would rule in peace.

Whatever the complaint, Paul was still told to not quit and keep on speaking that which the Lord gave him to do!

I love this scripture passage below!

Ezekiel 2:6-8
6 "And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house. 7 You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious. 8 But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you."   NKJV

And this one!

Ezekiel 3:4-15
4 And He said to me: "Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with My words to them. 5 For you are not sent to a people of unfamiliar speech and of hard language, but to the house of Israel, 6 not to many people of unfamiliar speech and of hard language, whose words you cannot understand. Surely, had I sent you to them, they would have listened to you. 7 But the house of Israel will not listen to you, because they will not listen to Me; for all the house of Israel are impudent and hard-hearted. 8 Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads. 9 Like adamant stone, harder than flint, I have made your forehead; do not be afraid of them, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house." 10 Moreover He said to me: "Son of man, receive into your heart all My words that I speak to you, and hear with your ears. 11 And go, get to the captives, to the children of your people, and speak to them and tell them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD,' whether they hear, or whether they refuse."

12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me a great thunderous voice: "Blessed is the glory of the LORD from His place!" 13 I also heard the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels beside them, and a great thunderous noise. 14 So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me. 15 Then I came to the captives at Tel Abib, who dwelt by the River Chebar; and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.
NKJV

Wherever God sends us to give the message, He always has a plan. I remember the first time He gave this to me, while ministering within the jail. God will make our faces strong, so whoever stands toe to toe against you, you can and will stand to see His Word go forth. I like that adamant stone.......harder than flint...........He has made Ezekiel's forehead and will do that for us when we must give the Word of life to a rebellious people. Now, not all people are rebellious, but some can certainly be hard of hearing that Word. Like I have written before, I saw many come to the Lord in the Jail and many of those who came, would come to the Chapel with a song on their lips and love in their hearts for God! It was grand to see what the Lord was doing in that place! I think fondly of those times and how some of those ladies loved God and surely expressed it in going to a service. I rarely see that with a regular service at church.
Do you know what happens when you strike a flint rock..........? It will produce some sparks to light a fire!
Receive into your heart all MY WORDS THAT I SPEAK TO YOU, speak to them, and tell them,............"whether they hear or whether they refuse..........blessed is the glory of the LORD from His place!"

Ezekiel heard the noise of the wings of the living creatures. He heard activity going on.  Activity was begun........and those ministering spirits are there to minister to us ...........and go as we command from the Word of God........and do we send them out?

If we are commanding that which be in heaven will be here on earth for us, then will we not see the glory of the Lord from His place? Will we witness like he did in Ezekiel 1:10, the very faces of the man, the lion, the ox and of the eagle?

Ezekiel 1:10-14
10 Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a man, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle. 11 Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out upward; each had two wings, one touching the wing of another creature on either side, and two wings covering its body. 12 Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went. 13 The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it. 14 The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning.
NIV

This would be the leadership, the counsel of the Lord as we see in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

In  the Gospel of Matthew, we see the lineage of that which led to Jesus. In the book of Matthew we find the visit of "Wise Men"....Matthew 2:1-15, we find the exit of Joseph and Mary with baby Jesus in Matthew 2:19-22, and we find their return to Nazareth in Matthew 2:23.
Protection for the coming King was seen. (although each gospel gives an account of the role Jesus would play in king of Israel and rule the earth) only Matthew puts an emphasis of His role, the KING.

Matthew was of "the king, the lion of Judah". Matthew 16:16.............16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."     NIV

THE End of Matthew, we see the King appointing his disciples to go. All authority had been given the King...........then commanded those to go and make disciples of all nations. He is with us!
Matt 28:16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.   NKJV

.............as king.....Jeremiah 23:5-6....5 "The days are coming," declares the LORD,
"when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch,
a King who will reign wisely
and do what is just and right in the land.    NIV

Revelation 5:5............. 5 But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.
NKJV

The Gospel of Mark was about "the ox, the servanthood". He was the sacrificial "lamb" and the long-suffering servant.  Mark 10:45.........45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."               NKJV

Mark 1:7-8.............7 And he preached, saying, "There comes One after me who is mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loose. 8 I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."     NKJV

THE close of Mark shows Jesus ascending to heaven. Now seated at the right hand of God.
Mark 16:19-20
19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.           NKJV

as servant Zechariah 3:8........8'Hear, O Joshua, the high priest,
You and your companions who sit before you,
For they are a wondrous sign;

For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.       NKJV

In the Gospel of Luke, we see the humanity of Jesus. He carried to the cross, the sins of the world and REDEEM MANKIND.

Luke was about "the man, Son of Man".Luke 19:10....... 10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." NKJV

IN the Close of Luke we find.......in Luke 24:36-53....the Jesus in His humanity point out the scars in His hands and feet. He ate before them and spoke of that which had to be fulfilled in Him. Thus it was necessary for Him to die and rise from the dead the third day. He spoke of them of "being His witnesses" (verse 48) He departed into heaven and THEY WORSHIPED HIM and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. They were written as those who were in the temple praising and blessing God. (verse 53)

as man Zechariah 6:12......12 Then speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, saying:

"Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH!
From His place He shall branch out,
And He shall build the temple of the LORD;  NKJV

The Gospel of John was about "the eagle, the Son of God". Jesus was the "Angel of the Lord."

John 7:42
42 Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?"   NKJV
Micah 5:2
2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times."  NIV

John 12:15
5 "Fear not, daughter of Zion;
Behold, your King is coming,
Sitting on a donkey's colt."  NKJV
Zechariah 9:9
"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.   NKJV

John 19:36-37
36 For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, "Not one of His bones shall be broken."  37 And again another Scripture says, "They shall look on Him whom they pierced."    NKJV
Psalm 34:20
20 He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken.   NKJV
Zechariah 12:10
10 "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they have pierced; they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.    NKJV

John 20:31.............31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.            NKJV

IN the Close of the Gospel of John, we find the relationship.........restoring Simon Peter............we find relationship in Jesus preparing them something to eat...........(John 21:15). Jesus spoke "Follow Me"!  Jesus, God in the flesh, had many miracles. And John noted that many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one...........he supposed that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written about Him. Amen. (verse 24-25)

Hosea 6:2.........2 After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,..That we may live in His sight. ...NKJV

Isaiah 40:31.......They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.    NKJV

Oh yes, we see Jesus as the Messiah,.....we had seen through His crucifixion a resurrection. In Matthew, he came as the suffering, but He is returning as the conquering..........the KING of Kings and LORD of Lords. In Mark He was the suffering servant who gave His life for ours. As in Luke, we see HIM who came to seek and to save the lost. And in JOHN we see the incarnate, the Son of God.........who was and is and is to come,.............the Light of the world.
We died to gain His life, the good news, to everyone who believes in Him to be saved. And He came to bring us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit..........to operate just as the early church operated. Trusting Him causes us to soar as eagles, to rise higher and higher and to gain the same perspective God has for our lives. It is in what we eat, that which God gives us will give to us strength to soar on high, to not be weary, but be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Amen!

Now is not the time to be afraid, to not speak, but this is the very hour, to "not quit" and to continue to speak the things the Lord gives us in our hearts. He will guide us through unhindered to see that His Word will prevail! Speak where the Lord guides you to and through, and see the miraculous power of God in your life!

IF THAT PROTECTED KING IS LORD OF OUR HEARTS, WE HAVE THE LION......THE BOLDNESS TO GO FORWARD. WITH THE OX OF SERVANT-HOOD, WE LOOK TO SACRIFICING OUR LIVES DAILY TO SERVING THE LORD WITH GLADNESS. IN LUKE, THE HUMANITY OF JESUS......WE SEEK TO GAIN A CHARACTER THAT IS WORTHY........THAT IS THE FAITHFUL, THE ONE WHO PERSEVERES, WHO IS IN PEACE, SEEKING ANOTHER'S WELL-BEING, READY TO GIVE A WORD OF THE FAITH THAT IS IN US...........
If we are the followers of what is good, even if we suffer for righteousness' sake, we are the blessed. (1 Peter 3:13-14)
We are not to be afraid of their threats or be troubled (verse 14) and sanctify the Lord God in our hearts, ready to give a defense to everyone who asks us the reason of hope that is in us. May we know those who try to defame us, or revile us of our good conduct in Christ will be the ashamed. In the will of God, it is better to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. (verses 16-17)NKJV

Then we ultimately soar..as the Eagle.....we soar into the.....higher and higher in the thoughts and plans God has for us. Jeremiah 29:11-14.

Jeremiah 29:11-14
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.     NKJV

That is relationship and it is us being gathered out of captivity, from sin, and to the place the Lord has for us. It is the place of future and of hope. It is in the place of peace that we once again, rejoice, we smile and we dance giving glory to God for us in the land of the living.

Father, thank You for the message You have for us to deliver those who come across our path today and every day. Today we desire to receive into our hearts all that You speak to us through Your holy Word. It is that Word of truth that declares Your goodness to others. Blessed is the glory of the LORD from His place!
In Jesus' name, we pray to be those who will not "quit:" but will speak all that You desire for us to speak to others. We know that the beginning of this is that place of quiet to hear You speak. May we be diligent to follow You, seeking You in Your Word that sets captives free. We pray to be those who will seek more on knowing Your Kingship Jesus, knowing the sacrifice You gave for us, that we would know Your character as the man who did what His Father told HIM to do and then soar like we find in John, Because in John we find a closer relationship with the Lord of glory. In John we find the spiritual life. God is spirit and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.(John 4:24) The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts as nothing.(John 6:63) Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the spirit gives birth to spirit.(John 3:6) Father, we know for the one whom You have sent speaks the Words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. (John 3:34)
We embrace Your Word and those You send our way today. We deliver to others with a joy in our hearts. ( For ) A Truthful witness saves lives. (Prov.14:25) Blessed is the glory of the Lord from His place. Amen and Amen.
