No WORRIES

There was a saying many decades ago about knocking on wood to ward off evil spirits and evil things from happening to you! I remember my mother wanting to do that and I told her that was silly! And yet today some many decades later, I see people still mentioning it while they speak.
Really?!?
So people speak this: Well really hoping no trouble with the car, knock on wood!
So people think this will ward off any difficulties?
Philippians 4:4-7 NKJV 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be known to all men, The Lord is at hand. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Our character and conduct begin in the mind. Our minds must be made up to do what God has asked us to do. We are to rejoice always and pray continuously. Within our minds we prove His word out. Within our minds, we dwell on prayer and joy in the Lord being anxious for nothing. This faith walk is an adventure and just when you think you have some amount of knowledge, something rears its ugly head, and for a moment we must choose again whom we will serve.
Will it be the flesh creature or actually be our will to serve the Lord with gladness in our hearts? All of our circumstances are known to God, we learn to be content, knowing He knows all things. Responding in prayer, we throw our trust into His capable hands and expect great freedom for our lives.

BUT we must believe Him. We must believe that when we give that Worrisome circumstance to Him, He will see our faith move forward and be active daily understanding there is a work in progress. Looking into the rear view mirror will not help one to reach forward, for it is of an earnest effort that we keep focused on what is before them and not dwelling on yesterday. That forward look is toward the brightest light possible. Sunshades anyone?

Yet we are to be those marked in maturity, seekers of the good in the Lord, mindful that He is mindful of us and has got our backs. Our INTERCESSOR  is always going at it. He is fixed on the purpose for which He went to the Cross and ours is to expect Him to answer. And sometimes the answer may not look the way we expect it, but we are not to fear. Wonderful and faithful is He, the One Who loves us and shows us the way through!

2 Peter 1:2-4 NKJV Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the diving nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

In pursuing God and His holiness, we recognize that unrighteous behavior. By His word, we recognize when the flesh is crawling and wanting its way. But God is our TEACHER! In Him there is no darkness and when  we speak out His words in the promises, we testify that He is truth and truly He guides in the way, the truth and life that He is to us! Living holy is saying to our minds line up with God, align to His way of doing, and then we are safeguarded against the false, against those who would try to snare us into stupid thinking.
Receive all that God our Father has provided. Abiding in Him, there are no worries only benefits. Persevere, and recall His faithfulness to you in the past but participate with Him in your present moment. Be assured He is standing by and ready so that you will be found in peace. For it is by His power, you and I will live without worry for we walk today in a holy lifestyle that is marked with grace and the power of Almighty God! Amen.

Keep on Singing

Psalms 63

63:1...O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.
2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.

3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
4 Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips. NKJV

Singing with a joyful heart will come out of our mouths with words of praise to our God!

Isaiah 51:11.....11 So the ransomed of the LORD shall return,
And come to Zion with singing,
With everlasting joy on their heads.
They shall obtain joy and gladness;
Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.  NKJV

We the Redeemed are to come with singing, are to come with proclaiming the Good news, that God sent His Son.
And what else has He done for us lately? What is the good report that God has done lately for us?
Do we have a triumph to shout about? Do we have joy because He heard us when we prayed?

That "shall flee away" is nuwc pronounced....noos.......and it means to lift up a standard. Like lifting the standard when the enemy brings in the flood in a situation.

That obtaining joy and gladness, is the to take hold of and grow rich in. (to obtain: nasag....nawsag.)...
Never thought of growing rich in the singing part. But now I understand the thought of being able to expand in the praise part, so proclaiming God and His goodness helps us to grow rich.........in what we are expounding on in the way of praise to God and that includes singing!

Isaiah 51:11....11 So the ransomed of the LORD shall return,
And come to Zion with singing,
With everlasting joy on their heads.
They shall obtain joy and gladness;
Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.  NKJV

Song 2:11-13.....11 For lo, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone.
12 The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of singing has come,
And the voice of the turtledove
Is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree puts forth her green figs,
And the vines with the tender grapes
Give a good smell.
Rise up, my love, my fair one,
And come away!   NKJV

That singing in Song 2 and verse 12 is mentioning the voice of the turtledove that is heard in our land. That is the word qowl or qol.............meaning to make voice........to MAKE A SOUND.
When done, it brings and holds "peace". In the same meaning it brings as sparking thunder.

I like this scripture that it tells us winter is past. The rain is over and gone. Those fragrant flowers now appear. The voice of the turtle dove is heard in our land. That land which you and I have. It is that land which oozes and flows with every resource we need to fulfill God's call on our lives. Yes the blossoms give fragrance and I think of that fragrance that we give out when we give praise and pray to God!....2 Corinthians 2:14-17.......................Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.   NKJV

That fragrance is by the Holy Spirit Who is given without measure..........John 3:34-36
34 For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. 35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. 36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."  NKJV

In that He has given us of His Spirit without measure, we grow, expand, to make a sound that causes peace of God to remain here with us. It is a part of the standard we set when we choose to praise and sing songs from our heart to God!
However amount of time we choose to do praise and sing , is that measure of degree we flow in easily. But we are told we can grow rich in it!

Psalm 45:6-9.........6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

8 All Your garments are scented with myrrh and aloes and cassia,
Out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made You glad.
9 Kings' daughters are among Your honorable women;
At Your right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir. NKJV

God gave a scepter of righteousness into Jesus' hand. His garments are those scented with myrrh, aloes, and cassia.  As His daughters we are among the honorable women. We wear the garments, those royal robes that God chose for us to wear. Those royal garments are those inlaid with the finest gold. ( the gold of Ophir was very rare)

I know that when we pray, when we worship through song and praise, our homes can have the same smells of those costly spices the kings had back in the days of King David to  King Jesus. I know that in leaving home for awhile, I can come back to find this scent, and it is not one bought at the store that you might plug in to scent your home with baked apple pie. No, I have gone back to find a scent that was given in prayer time and praise.
Our time invested into His goodness, and His wisdom leads to find the level path. It also causes our homes to fill up with His beautiful presence.

Keep on singing, Keep on rejoicing, Keeping on seeking HIM and He will be found! Though He is not far from us............Acts 17:27-28..........27 God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 28'For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.'  NIV

Father, may we expand our praise time to more than an evening service or morning time at church. Our desire is to give YOU praise for all that happens in this place of our home. Today we seek to be those who keep on singing even if it looks like storm clouds ahead. Today we choose to keep on singing even though things seem out of order and not in line what we are believing for our lives or our loved ones. But we know that in YOU we live and move, and have our being. We are YOUR offspring and we desire to grow more like YOU. May our garments give the scents of those coslty garments scented with aloes, myrrh, and cassia. As we seek to please YOU our Father, we desire to let the Holy Spirit have His way in our prayer time, our praise time, and in our singing time. We desire to speak as the HOLY Spirit leads us to speak, and to see Your fragrances of knowledge diffused everywhere. You also give the Holy Spirit without measure. Today we pray to be those who will wax rich in the praises to our God. We pray to be those who will sing a song at the least likely time, and see God do the miraculous for us. We give thanks for Jesus, the Sceptor of Righteousness.  We will make voice...We WILL MAKE A SOUND that will bring Your peace. A peace that will hold us and bring strength to stand for what we are believing for at this moment. It is in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Did YOU Know that God Sings over YOU?

Zephaniah 3:17
17 The LORD your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing." NKJV

When God saved us, sending Jesus for our sins, He came to abide in our midst, and to be on the scene!
He became engaged in our lives, to make us a part of the family.
God, the Mighty One, wanted to get involved with us............Hallelujah!

Do we notice Him throughout our day? Do we "see" Him moving on our behalf? God did not just do "a one time thing" for us, He came to spend every day with us. I, too, must remember to invite Him in each day. "Come Holy Spirit, and have your way in my life and home today!" For if we invite Him to be there, He is engaged in our every moment of living. But if I disregard Him, and have no intent of inviting Him in, then I am the one who loses out!
God came to save us, yes, but He also came to be a part of our lives. He came to participate with us. But do we take Him for granted? Who would not like to be participating with God?
God the Holy Spirit can take us through each moment of our day showing us with the "light of His word" what is wrong, what is out of place, and what needs correction. Seriously, I do not want to keep doing the same 'ole thing, if it is not productive, and is a total waste of my time.

God is the "perfect Father (Matthew 5:48) that loves us with perfect love (1 John 4:18).  God our Father, had an unrelenting pursuit of us. My desire is that we would have hearts that passionately pursue our Father God and that others would know we have a passion to be with Him and know Him like we should, as a Father knows His child, and the child Knows the Father!

He will rejoice over you with gladness.........He rejoices over us......with gladness........with blessedness, with bliss, but it also means a triumph..........a victory!
He quiets us with His love.......a quietness, but strength! God is the Adonai, Jehovah, the completely Self-Existing One, always present, revealed in Jesus. God our Victory, our Standard. For His banner over us is LOVE.
The same God who created the heavens and the earth....Elohim, is the Most High God, the Everlasting God, the Great God, and He rejoices over us who are the saved, the Redeemed.
Allow Him, the Holy Spirit to come and quiet you with His love today and allow Him to let you hear the song He sings over you!

Father, in Jesus name, we understand prayer not be a religious form, but praying YOUR word brings power into our lives. For the Word that YOU Speak GOD is alive and full of power---making it active, operative, energizing; it is sharper than any two-edged, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [that is, of the deepest parts of our nature] exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. (Hebrews 1:12 amp)
We truly ask YOU into every situation, every part of our lives today and seek to be quieted by Your love. You have given us the victory through Your Son and we stand as sons in Your kingdom. Lord show us the way we are to walk today, guide us through Your truth and to let go of that which causes us time and money we could be devoting to YOU and Your kingdom. We thank You for that perfect love of which You have loved us and we ask You to burn a passion in our hearts so others will know that our God, our Father, is our passion, our delight! We are thankful for the Standard that is raised today and we will fear no evil for our God is with us, He is in our midst. Thank You Lord for hearing and we set our hearts to be thankful everyday for YOUR goodness to us in the land of the living. Amen
