That QUALITY of Respect

Voice of Prayer
Respect cannot be fully come unless two parties of people commit to know the other person. And the quality is dependent on those two parties of people and how they communicate with one another!

What relationships are we willing to protect?
I have some relationships that are distant. They, the other parties lives in various states, but we all once were a part of a church body within a certain city in the northwest. Although these have moved away, or I did, yet somehow by the grace of God they continue. One is a young man musically inclined with a gift that is truly of God. Another, well she is petite and sassy and lives far north of here, but even today though I do not see her I am reminded of her determination to live for God that brings Him glory. And the other, well she just is what God knew I needed when I needed her at a low point in my life.
Today I still have opportunity to minister to them through prayer. Although so far away, yet there is no distance in the spiritual realm.

I hold a respect for these people! They love God and it shows by their actions to help family and people they do not know. They act accordingly to seeking prayer for an individual who is not their circle of friends, but they know that those are the ones God holds in His circle.

Was thinking on this today and wondered on the power of God and His abilities that can bring such unlikely people into my life, yet I am so in awe I can find no words to really write or speak on the subject of His great love to bring so many different peoples together, all with different walks, but be held by that thread of red: yes, by the blood of the Lamb!

In each of these cases, I was remembering how they each had touched my life and how they loved God by their always complete determined heart to get to the designated place and do what needed to be done to bring the Lord glory due His name.

I am captured today, yes by the grand plan of a great God and in awe He chose each of us from different paths, different age groups, and still see the beauty of the Lord in each person's focus on the horizon, to always be moving forward, to keep hearing His voice and watch out for their neighbor, come together, and be knitted in our hearts forever!

Each is not concerned for their welfare, only the welfare of others and that which pleases their Father. It comes from that relationship where respect comes into view!

Was looking up some of the meanings listed for respect, and I came across this one that captured my thinking!
It stated:respect that is genuine, healthy, and a quality that dignifies the carrier.

When we place our love and trust on and in God, we spend that quality time to really know Him. It is not the popularity of being known by many, but by being known by ONE and that is God! When we truly set our hearts to know Him, spend time and then we will see Him, not only in our prayer time, but in the music when a young musician sets down to create it and then release it to others. For the dear lady who lives far north, we are far apart but not in heart. That is how it is with God, though we do not see Him even now, yet we should know Him.

1 Peter 1:3-8
Amplified Bible
3 Praised (honored, blessed), be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)! By His boundless mercy we have been born again to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 4 [Born anew] into an inheritance which is beyond the reach of change and decay [imperishable], unsullied and unfading, reserved in heaven for you. 5 Who are being guarded (garrisoned) by God's power through [your] faith [till you fully inherit that final] salvation that is ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time.
6 [You should] be exceedingly glad on this account, though now for a little while you may be distressed by trials and suffer temptations. 7 So that [the genuineness] of your faith may be tested, [your faith] which is infinitely more precious than the perishable gold which is tested and purified by fine. [This proving of your faith is intended] to redound to [your] praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) is revealed.
8 Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not [even] see Him, you believed in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious triumphant, heavenly joy.

1 John 4:19-21
Amplified Bible
19 We love Him, because He first loved us. 20 If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates ) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen. 21 And this command (charge, order, injunction) we have from Him; that he who loves God shall love his brother [believer] also.

Yes, that quality of respect is that we love other believers. But out of that trust is a RESPECT!

Our confidence is in God or should be. And in expressing that confidence you and I will see God's power at work in us and through us.   According to Ephesians 4:1-6, we are told that  (4:1) As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit- just as you were called to one hope when you were called- 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

People may come and go out of our lives, but those who remain, especially near to our hearts are those who we know as those who are the prisoner's of the Lord. They live a life worthy of the calling they have received. There is just "that something" about them that sets them apart from others. They are the "gentle, the loving, and the empowered" in their faith walk that God is going to see over them no matter the difficulties, the world's economy and that the Lord God will have His way for His purpose in and through them.

I will not list their names, but maybe if they read this, they will know of who I write. They are those who carry a quality of respect that pronounces the authority of God in their lives. They keep His word and declare it determined that God will do everything He said He would do in His word.
It commands on them respect that comes from God to them......and those who know God will know those who God looks upon with such love and pleasure.

What sets the tone for that quality: only the relationship with Him and with others.

This quality will guard the unity of the spirit ! Ephesians 4:1-6  Amplified Bible: Therefore , the prisoner of the Lord, appeal to and beg you to walk (lead a life) worthy of the [divine] calling to which you have been called [with behavior that is a credit to the summons to God's service.

2 Living as becomes you] with complete lowliness of mind (humility) and meekness (unselfishness, gentleness, mildness), with patience, bearing with one another and making allowances because you love one another. 3 Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of [and produced by] the Spirit in the binding power of peace.. 4 There is one body and one Spirit---just as there is also one hope [that belongs] to the calling you received-----5 [There is ]one Lord, one faith, one baptism. 6 One God, and Father of [us] all, Who is above all [Sovereign over all],pervading all and [living] in [us] all.

Jesus carried this, so did Paul, Peter, and John. Might we consider of having that quality of relationship with God that shows others what love really looks like?

No Dripping Nonsense

Voice of Prayer
Proverbs 15:1-2   Message Bible    A gentle response defuses anger, but a sharp tongue kindles a temper-fire. Knowledge flows like spring water from the wise; fools are leaking faucets, dripping nonsense.

Have you ever had a faucet leaking just enough to keep you awake at night? No, it is not a "good" thing to hear all through the night when one is to rest.
I really like this that knowledge flows like spring water from the wise.
How wonderful to be the "wise" and wise in heart, to keep God before us and remember His ways and thoughts are higher than ours!

But the opposite here is: leaking faucet, dripping nonsense!
What might we see of this when we look into God's word? On one hand we could be the wise, acting responsible, being mature enough to receive authority as to those in leadership: say like the White House, the President and Vice-President! We must be mature enough to receive authority and act accordingly to that authority that is in place.

Was thinking on this while reading and remembering of the Vice President Pence to give a speech at such and such university the third weekend in May and remembered that some of the educated walked out. Sad, but true and in turn the whoever they were, will do doubt desire to have favor and have a voice but won't because of the seeds they have sown into rejecting authority that day in May 2017. Even if they get to a place of having a job that is a good one bringing some sort of honor to them, it will not last, because at some point the seeds sown in May and in rejecting authority, they too will be the rejected. Yikes!

Not sure what happened to this country we call home, but in the last forty years, it surely has changed. I remember a day when "kid's" had to obey their parents and those in leadership as to those serving within the community like: police, your school teachers and especially God!

There is one such rejection of authority in the book of Galatians. And the "foolish Galatians" were not receiving the authority that Paul had and was given him by Jesus Christ. In their not being wise, yes not having that really mature mindset, they moved into foolishness......and the nonsense became evident! They became "dripping nonsense"!

Rejecting any authority is a clear sign of "immaturity".  We find in Galatians 1:6 the group from Galatia were moving away from the grace of Christ, their teaching was in the form of a different Gospel.
Galatians 1:6  I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another, but there are some who trouble you and to pervert the gospel of Christ.
Galatians 3:1,3  O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 3 Are you so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?

Yes, there is no one made perfect by the flesh...........anything like foolishness is not good and will bring harm to the person acting in that regard to another person. And acted out, degree or no degree is still a sad situation for the individual.

Galatians 4:9 But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements to which  you desire again to be in bondage?

It was noted that the Gentile Galatians were observing those certain days, months, seasons, etc.
In doing so, their idol worship had nothing to do with observing God's holy days ( Galatians 4:10 You observes days and months and seasons and years.
Verse 11, it is Paul who declares: "I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain."
He had taught them the Gospel that Jesus commanded him to preach and teach.

Matthew 28: 19-20  NKJV  19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen."

What Jesus had given to the disciples who later became the apostles of which Paul was one, the Galatians had the early onset chose to disregard his authority. That was a really bad place to be. For a person to reject the authority like Paul, these Galatians were rejecting authority of the one who sent him and that was Jesus Christ!

It is Peter who reminds us in 2 Peter 3;11-8 (amplified Bible) 17 Let me warn you therefore, beloved that knowing things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you be carried away by the error of lawless and wicked [persons and] fall from your own [present] firm condition [your own steadfastness of mind]. 18 But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength and recognition and knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah)

Peter wanted to warn those believer's that to follow others who are in "error" of lawless and wicked persons.......was not a good thing to do!
In Peter' words, each person was to be consecrated, with holy behavior, devout with godly qualities. (2 Peter 3:11) (amplified bible)

In receiving any such rewards as the diploma or degree matters little when the one acquiring has no regard to loving their neighbor. It is their actions that spoke loudly and will in turn come back to them in a harvest of rejection as well.
In my thinking or thought process, as a person who hires those coming into the fields of work, would I desire to hire one who walked out on the authority like the vice-president or like those foolish Galatians we read about. For if they walked out that easily, they will probably not obey the authority of those who would be hiring them. Just a little for thought to those who have businesses and truly want to hire the wise in heart!

Might we keep in step with the Lord and heed His warnings so that we will walk the path of honor, to see His purpose for our lives be manifested that will be to His glory and not to man. It is in His light that we see light and the darkness cannot remain. May we remain in Him and remain to be wise within His sight walking in His wisdom all the days of our lives! Amen!

Country Strong

God devotion makes a country strong! (Voice of Prayer)
God-devotion makes a country strong;
God-avoidance leaves people weak.  Proverbs 14:34 Message Bible
Proverbs 14:34   Amp. Bible Uprightness and right standing with God ( moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation ) elevate a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.

Came across this in my reading last week and made note of it! It inspired this writing.
When I was in school, I worked hard very on some subjects I took. For instance I loved history, geography, science, language arts and English. But really did not care for the math part, or P.E. Music was a fun period time, for we had a teacher who really loved music and all sorts of instruments. She made it fun to learn: like when a score was written and for what purpose the particular person proceeded to create it in music and lyrics. She would teach about the creator of such work and in what time period they lived. Her name: well we called her Mrs. Rich and she was truly rich in the knowledge of that history that was vital to America! She loved her job of teaching and her love of music to teach others. I pray I teach like she did and that others would experience that love I have for the Lord in every word and that it would be in harmony with God as an orchestra to those who will read and hear!

In church for time, you learn that the devil came to steal, kill and destroy in that order. The Amplified Bible states it this way: John 10:10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows); 11 I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His [own] life for the sheep. 12 But the hired servant ( who merely serves for wages) who is neither the shepherd or the owner of the sheep, when he sees the wolf coming, deserts the flock and runs away. And the wolf chases and snatches them and scatters [ the flock].

My mother was wise in that she took us to church, and she talked with our instructors. She also saw to it that she met with our school instructors and took that instruction from them for her counsel in checking our work at home. In that she continued to train us. For whatever issues she had,  they meant nothing because she wanted her “kids” educated in church and in school!
Good job, Mom!

Making Jesus our Good Shepherd will keep the enemy away. But it is our faith that must be spoken, you know that language of faith to declare He is our God.  It is not by declaring a world spectacular as our god. It is not missing out on those school days when an education is required today to get a job interview or even the job tomorrow!

Any avoidance of God weakens our life, the life of our children, and even our community and nation! When people choose to do only that which strikes their “fancy” as to entertaining the flesh, one looks for all the great buys to get out there and experience “that world”! From this get- away to that get-away....and what are people getting away from?

Now when my sister and I were in school, our mother saw to it that we read the word at night and she would pray with us, especially if our dad was on a long trip away from home. Now her thinking was that we needed “Sunday school” and to school we went on Sunday! The same worked for getting that education, for both my parents knew that getting an education between reading and writing your name and not learning to write or read anything.  I remember stories of some great grand-parents in our family who had little education and how they had the chore of finding someone available so they could have something read to them before they could sign their name on any formal document. That was enough to influence me: I was getting a diploma to know for certain all I needed  to be educated in reading and writing  and to understand before I signed anything of the formal nature!

But today, so many young people seem to disregard education as not needed. I had heard an alarming report of those who have missed more school this year than the 10 days allowed by the district. It seems they choose not "to attend'.  But these teens certainly have seemed to miss an opportunity to learn something that might benefit them twenty years from now!

My question: how do they graduate if they have not fulfilled their amount of time for study of those subjects required? Are they expecting some kind of handout all their life? Is there something else available I had not heard of in this day and time, for we know jobs are important to have for bringing in a check to care not only for oneself but also for the family if one is married. It is those important things: like renting a place when first starting out, buying groceries, paying bills and hey, how about the upkeep of a new cell phone? Who will pay that bill?

All the jobs I had applied for in my lifetime required you have the High School diploma or you were not hired.  Even up to the beginning of the 21 century I saw and heard stories that if you had quit school you would not be hired until he or she had produced a document proving that he or she had acquired that “diploma” (like G.E.D.)

In reading on to the next verses in the Message Bible, I read this Proverbs 14:35 Diligent work gets a warm commendation; shiftless work earns an angry rebuke.

Now if you are working for you, you still must have God as your lead in anything. For the above mentions that the king, any man or woman who is in charge of the company or business is the one who will commend another for the work done in the company or business. But if one is the “slacker” and does not required the paycheck they will certainly find his place in being unemployed.
Slacking also means you do not tell your boss how to do his job your way! If you have a boss, he got his job by the amount of years he remained faithful to learn and understand the way he sought in either learning a trade or field or area of work and maintained in a good position as he or she ages. Slacking also means that you do not go and change what the company or business is already doing. If you are hired you are hired to do exactly what you are paid to do, no more and no less…but be faithful to it!

We take a local paper here in this area. It is always delivered to our mailing address in town. In some of the editorials, we read of the frustrations by some local business owners who hire the teens for either the summer season or hire those who want to work  after high school is finished and they need regular work. One such individual wrote of his hardware business and what he had sent out in the paper that he was hiring for someone to do clean-up and haul large items of lumber or such to a customer's vehicle. He had a few other things listed, but in short, he put that he got people who wanted to work part-time hours, and required really enlarged salaries, like the starting pay at 30 dollars to start? Now where has this “kid” been living?
Anyway, the short of it, either the work for the said persons was not what they wanted and not enough pay! I remember when my mother made $1.65 an hour to start her job. And her increase was very slow paced. Of course that was back in the twentieth century!

Making demands should not be our lifestyle! If we are in the Lord, we learn His wisdom and how to grow not only in knowing Him and His word, but also how to work with others, learn the needed knowledge we require for a certain job and move ahead with God’s hand of favor on our lives.
Staying close to the Lord will give us the protection to know when some “unexpected something” is coming your way! Unless prepared by the Lord, we miss it! Many an opportunity has been missed by many people, just look at the graveyard you pass maybe to church or to work or maybe the next time you buy groceries. I always note seeing one somewhere when we are driving out any direction of where we live. And I wonder how many really did something that God had placed in them to do.
The most I have seen for the youth is they died suddenly when driving too fast while texting!
Now I do hear of some world changers and history makers, but they are not from around here!

God and prayer work for our families, our neighbors and our nation!

My thought is what is the heartache one experiences when their young teen dies so suddenly when it most likely could have been prevented. Now some things can occur, but prayer is important to keeping God’s power going out to keep our families strong in Him. Prayer amounts to the power of God released into their young lives. Prayer for our youth and those teens surrounds them with God’s power of protection to see that they come home safely.
Considering God is powerful and able to save, I desire to stay with Him. I have made too many trips to the “city” and see so many still disobeying the rules to answer that “all important” text while driving. I don't need to watch for horror movies on TV, I can drive in the nearest city to observe that and without the benefit of a good bag of popcorn.

Education is so important, and so is knowing the Lord. In the world where so many are missing the great opportunity of receiving a good education to thrive,  they miss out not only by being absent from school but also miss those days they might really be needed……..and within that, they vacate that which could have been a really good life being submissive to learn and to achieve. In the end, they most likely miss their opportunity to a life in God. If school is not important, would knowing God and learning the truths in the Bible be important?

God devotion makes a country strong! May our desire together in unity be for His kingdom to come and be done on earth as it is in heaven. May God the Lord be praised! He sent Jesus and with the thankfulness of our heart’s we can see things change when we pray!
It is our God Who has delivered us from the evil one who came to steal, kill and destroy us, but God sent us HIS Son that we would have life and have it in abundance. Are our lives significant of abundance or that which is diminished, the lacking with no life of God in it?

Thank YOU Father for delivering us from every evil work and thank YOU for the authority YOU have given us with the name of Jesus. We love YOU and praise YOU.
Oh, Lord may we praise YOU every day and within that find those new reasons to praise YOU!
Father, according to Proverbs 14:34   Amp. Bible we desire to have the uprightness and right standing with God ( moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation ) elevate a nation but choose to push  past sin as we understand….it is a reproach to any people.
We pray for those who know YOU and their families today that any who have floundered may be brought back into the fold of YOUR truth and love. May all children everywhere know the importance of a good education no matter their age and within that may they have regard for God first and His plan for their lives that which brings abundance for every area of their lives. We pray for those who know the Lord, may their children grow spiritually, physically, financially, socially and emotionally through God’s Word of truth!
Father, may Your peace rule this nation, this state, and this community. May the people of this nation become kingdom people and give praise to the one true God. It is all about serving the Lord with gladness in our hearts. To God be all the glory. Amen and Amen.

Flint into Fountain of Waters

Compliments of the Barrows family
Ever held a piece of flint in your hand? A friend gave us a sample many years ago. It would fill the hollow part of my hand. I have it somewhere in a box of things from other church members (you know things you like to hold onto to remember that friend or family from long ago)

In the tales told me long ago, anyone going out for a camping trip always had their flint rock with them in case of rain. Unless you smoked back then, and no kind of lighter was available, then yes, matches would be required at number one on my list of things to take on that outing.
Now that was decades ago, and today they have waterproof matches! In those ancient times, flint was used as a weapon like for the arrowhead used by the Indian tribes. We held it important for its use in igniting a spark to start a wood fire!

Was reading through Psalm 114 and I thought of that rock of flint.
I mean, someone like passing by a rocky region with much limestone and the such might come across some kind of flinty rock and unless you knew where to search for arrowheads you might miss seeing that rock already shaped into an arrowhead by person long dead.

My husband knew where to search for them and found some from time to time. He tried teaching our daughter but her heart did not seem to be into that kind of thing at the time of her youth!

Let's look into Psalm 114!
Psalm 114
When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language, 2 Judah became His sanctuary, And Israel became His dominion. 3 The sea saw it and fled; Jordan turned back. 4 The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs. 5 What ails you, O sea, that you fled?
6 O mountains, that you skipped like rams? O little hills, like lambs? 7 Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, 8 Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

In this writing, the focus is on the distinction of two kingdoms, yet still one group of people, not lost like what is given as the Anglo-saxon theory of the 10 tribes being lost.

No, God in His mercy keeps His own and keeps them safe.
In this passage: we see the six marvelous works of our great God! The Red Sea was divided (Exodus 14:3), the Jordan River was divided ( Joshua 3:13; 2 Kings 2:8,14) , mountains skipped like rams.
the hills jumped like rams (from v.4) , the rock poured rivers of water (seen in Exodus 17:6)
Exodus 17:6 Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at [Mount] Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

............And the flint into a fountain of waters.
Many a traveler through that region describe what is to be the very rock that Moses struck. It is said to be a vast size of granite. The Dake's Bible states: it was a rock: 15 feet long, 10 feet wide and 12 feet high. It is described as a rock with holes and channels through it which could only be formed by the exertion of water running through it. It was stated also that the water that flowed at that time supplied water to 6,000,000 people or more and also for their stock as well!

When their need was met by being filled, the water cease to run!

God is not hindered! He is our sufficiency and what could make fire like flint became what the people needed. It was the needed water that came rushing forth, and watered the people and their stock as well. What we must do, whether man or woman, grown or a as a child, it is we each individually must seek the Lord for His plan for our lives.
We can certainly work to make a living. Each, male or female can do the work around the home or even in the work place, but it takes God to make us into what we are destined to be come in His hands. The fire rock became gushing torrents of water; not limited to any firmness of the rock.
The Israelites came to the place of hardness. They had a hardness of heart and even within seeing all this wonderful things God did to deliver them, they were found in the desert without the surplus of water for survival!
But God! But God in His mercy blessed them with water. These people did not need to make weapons for war or make a fire, they needed the much desired cool water to quench their thirst.

John 4:13-14  Amplified Bible 13 Jesus answered her, All who drink of this water will be thirsty again. 14 But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up (flowing, bubbling, [continually] within him unto (into, for) eternal life.

God is our help and He is our shield. But we must stay with Him, talk with Him, and be people who pray to keep the communication lines open!

May we as His people seek His beauty and His love giving thanks for His word of truth that sets us free. It is in Him that we are alive. He meets our thirst and gives us our daily bread (Matthew 6:11)
Friends can come and go throughout our lives, but God must always be present for us. Keep your watch on Him, and desire His peace and comfort. Know He brings you to that even place, His habitation (Psalm 33:14; Psalm 52:5) and will bring to you a strength that will carry you through all your tomorrows! And may your inner most being bubble forth with praise to our God and King! Amen.

Prayer for a Friend

Voice of Prayer
Job 42:7-10 And so it was, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, " My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has. 8 Now therefore take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you. For I will accept him, lest I deal with you according to your folly; because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has." 9 So Eliphas the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zohpar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD commanded them; for the LORD had accepted Job. 10 And the LORD restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Wow the power of prayer when we care enough to pray for our friends and our neighbors! Whether close by or far away, it is important to cover others with God's thoughts and not ours. And of course, those words are found within that Bible.
In the midst of any trial, we must focus not only on getting through it but to pray others will get through their obstacles as well. We should always know that satanic forces can mount when people are loose with their lips speaking of wicked intent or blaspheming others.
Enduring means we keep watch over our neighbor as we keep our walk with God. Although those trials and tribulations come, we have victory by our faith we hold in God.
Greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

We must never think someone is sick because of of some stinking sin! The devil cares not for anyone but himself and will use anything to steal, kill and destroy (you) John 10:10
God has given us His word and love and within that we are to encourage the downcast, comfort any who may be afflicted and yes, we are to strengthen those who may be weak in their walk with God. As we hold fast to God and His Word, you be comforted in knowing He is for you and not against you.

Trials can come and go, but God is forever. As the Sustainer of all things, I believe us to be in "good hands!'

In the spirit of forgiveness, prayer allows us to reach across the street or across the country with God's love. In our action to prayer, we are seeking to seek Him who hears from heaven and answers.

Hebrews 2:14-15   NKJV  14  Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Understand that we have an opponent. Satan is his name and he is real! And he is active since he is running out of time for his rule!
John 8:44, in accusing the Jews of unbelief, it is Jesus Who puts Satan's nature in plain words:

You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Seek out God and His way, truth and light! Seek God and know the way in which to walk for trials will occur, and other's exist on this planet so they can affect your walk. But we should remain to be the committed to God and His plan for our lives. In and through prayer we can find life that is real, that comes to pass and is manifested for others to see!

As our granddaughter would say: "take your peace, and seek". Take your peace and be seated before your CREATOR. BE seated, and become acquainted with Him. For our faith walk is to honor God. And the honest struggle should be of the spirit and not by the flesh creature.
Pray today for those who may not understand or know you. If anyone falsely accuses you, know the devil is on the scene. Pray for the man or woman and pray to forgive "no matter what" the circumstance may be.

Pray confidently for the Lord hears the prayer of the righteous. Trust Him to speak the answer you desire of Him. Acknowledge Him to clear the way and ultimately honor Him for He blesses the home of those who will be honest and a sincere heart.

Father, thank you for friends! Thank you for those we have not met yet but hope to soon! We pray for their safety and for their homes. We pray for their families and their jobs.
Thank YOU that we have hearts knitted together to see YOUR glory fill this land. And for whatever trials, tribulations or anything else the enemy might try, we seek to glory in YOU and YOUR word of truth. Come kingdom of God and be done in our lives today as it is in heaven. It is in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Same Page, Same Glory, Same God

Taken by R. Twiner
Psalm 34:11-14    NKJV     (11) Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
(12) Who is the man who desires life,
And loves many days, that he may see good?
(13) Keep your tongue from evil,
And your lips from speaking deceit.
(14) Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.

Now we know this is an interesting thing to speak, "come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD."
And David made it regarding that fear.

Living out of a good conduct appears as the one who is taught about the Lord, is for the one who desires life that is of an abundance of good days. Within that boundary we see one is to keep their tongue from evil , and their lips from speaking deceit. Departing from evil and to do good is the "one who seeks peace and pursues that peace"!

That peace is with God. It is Who He is!

David also wrote Psalm 12! I will place it here and we will look at what he had desired of God as he prayed!

Psalm 12:1-8    nkjv       Help! LORD, for the godly man ceases! For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men. 2 They speak idly everyone with his neighbor; with flattering lips and a double heart they speak. (inconsistent mind: speaking that which is the false, that which gives no life….they are speaking with insincere words or arrogance…..). 3 May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things, 4 Who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail; Our lips are our own; who is lord over us?” ( once godly now they are self-willed)
5 “For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now, I will arise,”    says the LORD; “ I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.”
6 The words of the LORD are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 You shall keep them, O LORD, You shall preserve them from this generation forever. 8 The wicked prowl on every side, when vileness is exalted among the sons of men.

*From verse 1 prayer is given out to God for help because the godly man ceases to exist. David refers to those who speak idle words who flatter with their tongues and lips bring the false, that which has no life in it and possible destruction even to death. Godly men cease to exist when they speak insincere or arrogant speech. When those in leadership disrespect authority, they use their self-will to excess resulting in oppressing others.
*From verse 5 the LORD hears the cry of those who seek His safety. God hears the words He gave them. That word which is tried in fire shall keep them, to preserve them forever. But of the wicked they prowl on every side as vileness is exalted among them. Where immorality is promoted by elected officials, those civic leaders or media personalities, crime is increased.
* God is absolutely trustworthy. Amen!

Our mouths are to speak the good things God gave us in His word. From cover to cover that is the measure of faith. What we have placed in our hearts is that by which we abide and then ask in His name, when we pray.
Learning of God, is learning how He speaks, how He operates by the spirit.

Romans 3:18 is just as true now as it always has been: "There is no fear of God before their eyes." The reason it must be taught becomes obvious once we understand that it arises and grows from one's relationship with God.
Of the passage above, we found in Psalm 12 those who were godly at one time, but now have become non-existent. They are now those who oppress others, and God answers those who cry out for help from those who now oppress!
Our speaking must always line up with God's word. Our speaking is to be that which is true and follows that thread through the Old Testament all the way through the New Testament to the book of Revelation. That thread is of Jesus, the Son of God's love who was sent and do what God asked. Our relationship is to be much like Jesus'. Oh no you do not need to be crucified, but we must remember of what was done for us through Him.

The Apostle Paul wrote this in 2 Timothy 2 and verses 1-2. In the Amplified Bible it reads like this: So you, my son be strong (strengthened inwardly) in the grace ( spiritual blessing) that is [to be found only] in Christ Jesus. 2 and the [instructions] which you have heard from me along with many witnesses, transmit and entrust [as a deposit] to reliable and faithful men who will be competent and qualified to teach others also.

Our learning of God is so that we can teach others, not only by the example but by God's Word taught. If we speak only idle words, they flatter but fall to the ground. They accomplish nothing.
And in that thought, one who has known God and chooses to speak empty talk, that which is useless and vain, will find themselves moving into ungodliness.
Placing value on God and that relationship with Him ensures we are strengthened inwardly. We are found in Christ Jesus and the instructions we have embraced, we speak to others.
We must be found on the same page with God. For when we watch and seek, we find what we are looking for, our eyes opened and our hearts receptive, and in that time with Him we draw forth more life, more favor of Him and gain strength to move forward in our lives.

Note at the end of Psalm 12, David wrote this: 8 The wicked prowl on every side, when vileness is exalted among the sons of men. Notice whatever news media you watch, or take note of one who leads maybe as governor from your state. If they move toward that kind of talk, violence will be in their streets. Ungodliness leads to more ungodliness and then one sees the "blame game" begin!

Let's really take the time to abide in Him, and find that beauty that was planned not only for me but you as well. For in seeking Him in His words, we dwell in His presence, active in hearing Him speak, to see His peace manifest in our lives and our children's lives as well. Demonstrate His glory today! BE found with Him and abide everyday so that you can ask what you will in His name and see it done for you, for His glory! Amen!

(John 15:6-9.....6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. KJV)
