Thank YOU

Thank you to all those who delight in the Lord God! If you are reading this, it is because you chose to read it.  Thank you to those in France and in Germany who come up on the list of those who read this. Thank You who read this regularly in the U.S. and in Spain and the Ukraine. Yes, there are many others, but I say thank you for the opportunity to minister God's life to you. May God bless and keep you. May He cause His face to shine upon you and give you peace.

Numbers 6:24-26
24 "The LORD bless you and keep you;
25 the LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 the LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
and give you peace." '
NKJV

Lamentations 3:22-26
22 Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
24 "The LORD is my portion," says my soul,
"Therefore I hope in Him!"

25 The LORD is good to those who wait for Him,
To the soul who seeks Him.
26 It is good that one should hope and wait quietly
For the salvation of the LORD.
NKJV

Stand strong in the Lord. He will never fail you. God is merciful and when we repent from evil ways, He is faithful and just to forgive us. Truly times are in the mode of destruction and death and though we see it, it will not come near us. See below:

Psalm 91:7-16
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
NKJV

Making the Lord our Refuge, we are in His protection. He is to be our dwelling place. And when we do, no evil comes near us. For He truly gives His angels charge over us to keep us.

Setting our love on Him keeps the door open for Him to deliver us out of any destruction and death. When we place His name above all else and spend time with Him to really know Him, then we know He will answer us. He will deliver you in trouble....He will deliver and honor you when you put Him always first. May you be satisfied with long life.

May your eyes always be on His faithfulness. Never forget to sing of Him and of His mercies to us. In joy and strength you will rise. May you know that you are valued and the Father keeps His watch over you. Continue to raise your voice in praise to him and keep your feet in His peace. Be guided daily by His loving Hand and know your best days are ahead and not behind you.
I will not be silent. I will sing with you even in the darkest of nights, you have ALMIGHTY GOD on your side.
Be encouraged! God is still in control. He knows the best for all. And may we spend eternity enjoying His love and goodness dancing in that which He has created for us all.
Gather together, worship God, for in Him we rest and can sleep. He has given His beloved sweet sleep. In His presence, we are refreshed and revived. In His presence, there is His holy oil to soothe you in your need. For that which gives ache to the body or the heart, He is the answer. He will help you to see and keep that focus on Him, bringing your heart into His strong and powerful hands. And then when the resting is done, and the healing has come, then be prepared to give an encouraging word to another. Remember to lift His name. And He will hear your cries in the darkest of night. Know He is with you........ now.............. and forever!
You will stand before Him one day and may He speak to you:

Matthew 25:21
21 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'   NKJV
Amen! So let be established Lord!

Noonday

From Scripture given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we are told in Hosea 4:6 "my people perish for a lack of knowledge."
The New King James Version reads this way:

Hosea 4:4-6
4 "Now let no man contend, or rebuke another;
For your people are like those who contend with the priest.
5 Therefore you shall stumble in the day;
The prophet also shall stumble with you in the night;
And I will destroy your mother.
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children. NKJV

As the prophet over our lives and those of our families, we can surely have what we say. What we speak will form that highway to travel and it will either be for the good or for the bad.

Now let no man contend as in contention with another man.
Message Bible reads this way: "But don't look for someone to blame. No finger pointing! You, priest, are the one in the dock, You stumble around in broad daylight, and then the prophets take over and stumble all night. Your mother is as bad as you. My people are ruined because they don't know what's right or true. Because you've turned your back on knowledge, I've turned my back on you priests. Because you refuse to recognize the revelation of God, I'm no longer recognizing your children.
Yikes!

Those children not recognized by God and why....because it is the man or woman who will not turn to God and pray for them.

Taking God out of this country was a bad idea. And that taking Him out included out of the schools which was by prayer and the reading of the Word of God.  In the start of this great nation........the McGuffey Readers were implemented to help children learn to read  and the need for proper education came through this reader. It promoted reading of books and phonics to learn proper pronunciation of those words. From the mid 1800's to the 1960's the book was used to teach the spiritual and the moral life OF the Words of God. It was a needed and very much vital tool to promote a population of many people to become American citizens. This book characterized the importance of applying God's life to ours. It truly shaped America in its early years. (It was established to prepare them for life.)

Today, I am appalled to hear so many teens graduating from high school cannot read and cannot write or do math but in the simplest form. Where was the teacher? Oh, yeah, God our TEACHER was removed from the schools and then other places as well.

In thinking on this speech I heard today, I heard about the verse below quoted! Not sure if the writer knew what the verse meant, but surely one piece of the scripture was given!
 "He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, and the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." See below!

Psalm 37:5-6
5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
NIV

It is a wonderful passage, but we must remember what verse 5 speaks. COMMIT your way to the LORD. Trust in Him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun."

It is commitment to God that will establish justice in your life and mine.

This only comes by Jesus being Lord of our lives. We must know God and abide in Him and know that the relationship with Him brings these things to our lives. When we continue to leave God out of everything, we have an empty life filled with only what the human force can bring. Without God there is no hope.

1 Kings 18:20-21
20 So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel. 21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, "How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him." But the people answered him not a word.
NKJV

If we falter between two opinions we gain nothing. We are to make God our Lord and follow Him. But if we follow anything else, then contention erupts, upheaval continues, frustration and depression set in.
If we humble ourselves and pray to seek His face, justice will return. Those who truly seek God and have Jesus seated on the throne of their hearts will pray and God will hear. And justice will have it's due course!

In Amos we are given this perfect Word.
Amos 5:23-24
23 Away with the noise of your songs!
I will not listen to the music of your harps.
24 But let justice roll on like a river,
righteousness like a never-failing stream!  NIV

The Message Bible reads this way:
I've had all I can take of your noisy ego-music. When was the last time you sang to me? Do you know what I want? I want justice---oceans of it. I want fairness----rivers of it. That's what I want. That's all I want.

Leaving God is leaving justice behind.
Matthew 11:29-30: “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Why would anyone, making a fair analysis by comparing God's way with his self-chosen way and seeing what mankind has produced in this world, rather have his own way rather than God's? That makes no sense whatever! You can see what happens when we follow ourselves.

If God really wanted to make life truly difficult, He would have given man absolute freedom. It really builds satisfaction and contentment, right? No, not at all.

The more we act out of our emotions the more trouble presented.
 We must truly realize that the more we talk, the emptier our words will become.
2 Peter 2:17-19
17 These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. 18 For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. 19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity-for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.  NIV

Come on now, let's be honest, we have all tried to lead ourselves and others without God's wisdom. It ends up a bigger mess than when we first began.

 As a member of the human race and an American citizen by birth, I understand the important of truth that we must accept that God is THE sovereign Creator.  And God does not change for He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He will not go back on His Word and change His thoughts or ways to suit little ole' you or little ole' me. Our faith is a "spiritual thing" and comes from God. Our trust is to be in Him our Father and not in any other. God is God Alone!

When we must speak, may it done in the wisdom of God and by much prayer time. When we walk out of our house, may we represent God well and obey His every command. Then and only then, will justice roll on like a river, and God will smile because He will see us in right-standing with Him because Jesus rules over our hearts and our minds. Amen!

Learn His ways! Seek His Ways and Thoughts and then Submit. See you at noonday!

From the Top

Now from the top of the mountain, one can see such a great distance and see in all directions. And on a really clear day, you might think you can see into the next state. Thinking on those rides to Pike's Peak and other of not so notable a name brings back that roadway with no one on it.
I recount such a road, and how in the awesome splendor of the smooth ride up to the top, I thought that some of those going westward from St. Louis in horse drawn wagons would thought the ride would have perfection. But most going west wanted the lowest crossings without those rain swollen streams and rivers. Most wanted a not so bumpy ride, but then you get to the Rocky Mountains. And what do they consist of, yeah, rocks!
When you rise higher and higher up the mountain, you become aware that the trees start to disappear......and then only the rugged terrain and some of last years snow and ice remain in those areas where the sun seldom shines.

Saw a short documentary of the wagon train going over the rugged Rocky Mountains. They were looking for a better life. What became of those going to a new land some 169 years ago, brings a very sad reminder of trying to take shortcuts.
It was told that of the 89 men, women and children who entered the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, only 49 made it out alive. They were the Donner Party.
This group also included the Reed family. As American pioneers they were led by George Donner and James F. Reed.
Bad luck, and worst mistakes in making a trip across a land where storms can produce much snow and cold, these were truly unprepared people for awaited their arrival known today as the Donner Pass.
They headed to a place called Hastings Cutoff which took them through the Great Salt Lake. Brutal winter descended, and they were so blocked in from the heavy snow, they could not go forward or backward.
For they had hoped to get to the West in record time before those winter storms came, but trapped in cold and without food about half of them perished. There was an attempted try to rescue them but it took some four months to get to them. By that time only half remained.
Yes, leadership played a role in this devastating encounter with the elements of the earth and especially in the mountains of Utah.

From the top of the mountain, we can see for miles but in truth when we take each step to go to the new land, that which God has promised us could take some time in the going forward with God. From that high point, one looking down upon the terrain, everything seems small and not of any significance. But making our way out, the view certainly changes. Now the road is filled with cars, trucks and semis. The way down is laden with city after city, and the roar of many people and changes can occur to change our perspective from that which we had on top of the mountain.

But with God, we stand with Him, and by His Holy Spirit we are shown what is available to us. If we keep that Word before our eyes, we see with His eyes! There are no shortcuts! Relationship takes time. But we will find the more effort we put into knowing Him and see from the TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN,  we gain His advantage, then we are not limited. We are not shortened, divided or subtracted, no, we are multiplied in every way to become what He desires us to look like. It is in Him we live and move and have our being.
For those people, those early pioneers, they got into trouble trying to take a shortcut. May we not be spoken of as they are today. For historians have described their very adventure as being one of the most bizarre and of a great tragedy.

May our history be spoken of as this: We resided in God. His justice was our pathway. His freedom held our hearts in the place of peace and where Jesus ruled. His love was ever enlarging in our lives to go make disciples. And all creation knows that God Alone is to be praised...........may our hearts respond to meet Him FROM THE TOP!

Passing Heart Inspection

Appearances. What one sees with that naked eye reveals something? And if our mouth speaks, then others know what is on our heart.
The prophet Samuel was sent to anoint the one God was calling to leadership. It would be someone who would eventually replace King Saul.
1 Samuel 16:6-13
6 So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, "Surely the LORD's anointed is before Him." 7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 8 So Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, "Neither has the LORD chosen this one." 9 Then Jesse made Shammah pass by. And he said, "Neither has the LORD chosen this one." 10 Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, "The LORD has not chosen these." 11 And Samuel said to Jesse, "Are all the young men here?" Then he said, "There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep." And Samuel said to Jesse, "Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here." 12 So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the LORD said, "Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!" 13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.
NKJV

Many are pulled away at times by the outward appearance of someone or some thing.
When it came time to choose a leader for the country, the prophet went to the house of Jesse.
He viewed the mighty men who were military leaders. They held some position with and under the rule of King Saul.
Yet, when the prophet came, he listened with the ear of intent to know who God had chosen as the future ruler and king. Samuel thought Eliab was the one, but God had another in mind.
Yes, that heart can be of good fruit that flings forth good to others or it can be of the bad fruit that flings out bad and diseased things to others.

What is the intention of our heart?

What is our motivation in doing anything for God? Is it about giving praise to God or do we need the praise instead?
Finding our heart leaning in this direction is finding our own identity.....and looking for praise in what we do and not His.
David's was an intent, a motivation to give God glory and praise!

1 Chronicles 29:14-19

14 "But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. 15 We are aliens and strangers in your sight, as were all our forefathers. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope. 16 O LORD our God, as for all this abundance that we have provided for building you a temple for your Holy Name, it comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you. 17 I know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity. All these things have I given willingly and with honest intent. And now I have seen with joy how willingly your people who are here have given to you. 18 O LORD, God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Israel, keep this desire in the hearts of your people forever, and keep their hearts loyal to you. 19 And give my son Solomon the wholehearted devotion to keep your commands, requirements and decrees and to do everything to build the palatial structure for which I have provided." NIV

Having an honest intent to please the Father was David's heart! He was forever writing and singing psalms to the God whom he loved and cherished. David had spent so much time with the Father God that he recognized how He was pleased in every endeavor and done in integrity.

In the following we are reminded of the speaking of Paul to Timothy.
2  Timothy 1:8-12
8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, 10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 11 to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. 12 For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.
NKJV

Passing the heart inspection with God is willing to be a prisoner of the Lord God. It is He Who saved us. He called us and brought life and immortality. Paul had his heart set, not ashamed, but persuaded in truth that God had him. No matter what, Paul had fixed his heart to be intent to hear God, and obey.

In returning to Eliab and David in 1 Samuel, we are reminded of Eliab's anger against David. Read below:

1 Samuel 17:26-30
26 Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, "What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?" 27 And the people answered him in this manner, saying, "So shall it be done for the man who kills him."

28 Now Eliab his oldest brother heard when he spoke to the men; and Eliab's anger was aroused against David, and he said, "Why did you come down here? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your pride and the insolence of your heart, for you have come down to see the battle." 29 And David said, "What have I done now? Is there not a cause?" 30 Then he turned from him toward another and said the same thing; and these people answered him as the first ones did. NKJV

It is interesting that his brother would make such a statement....."Why did you come down here? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your pride and the insolence of your heart, for you have come down to see the battle."
What battle? The men all stayed off to the sides to see what Goliath was going to do.
So why would this military man be so envious of little David. Was it because David was addressing what needed to be said, and then actually do? The "heart" of all these men were tested again that day. David was ready for battle and meet with the enemy face to face. He had passed the heart inspection.

Where is God leading us? Are our hearts passing inspection with the good fruit that can be given to others? Are will we act like Eliab?
When the power of God comes, one will not have to pretend anything. One will not have to gloat over their ability, for God in His wonderful power will let other's see that you have an ability that comes from God alone, for your heart is set on Him ALONE! Like David, we too, have to remember to give praise where praise is due. And we must remember to allow the Holy Spirit into every situation of our lives.
David took God with him out to tend sheep and then God took him into real battle. In estimation the giant was some 18 feet tall. David was a mere what, maybe a possible 5'5''? So that heart inspection is important and passing is God appointed. For He always comes to check our motives, our devotion, our faith, our relationship with Him and our relationship with others.

David wrote this:

Psalm 119:9-20
9 How can a young man stay pure? By reading your Word and following its rules. 10 I have tried my best to find you-don't let me wander off from your instructions. 11 I have thought much about your words and stored them in my heart so that they would hold me back from sin.

12 Blessed Lord, teach me your rules. 13 I have recited your laws 14 and rejoiced in them more than in riches. 15 I will meditate upon them and give them my full respect. 16 I will delight in them and not forget them.

17 Bless me with life so that I can continue to obey you. 18 Open my eyes to see wonderful things in your Word. 19 I am but a pilgrim here on earth: how I need a map-and your commands are my chart and guide. 20 I long for your instructions more than I can tell.   TLB

Oh that we might see wonderful things in God's Word......remember we are but pilgrims here on earth and to keep God's road map for our lives ever before us........and be forever guided to passing that heart inspection!

Wimpy Whine or A Battle Cry that is Set for Change

Thinking on Jesus and His walk on this earth we conclude He encountered many people. His walk took Him to a variety of people.  His life may not resemble ours. His family was of the Hebrew nation. His hair different than yours or mine. His love, well, it was of course Heaven SENT!
When He spoke He needed no megaphone to be heard. He walked with those He knew, preached on the hillside and prayed in the night for the city He longed to nurture with the Father's love.
A man of intercession, we find He had a clear vision of what to pray for those God the Father loved so much.

Luke 13:34-35......34 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! 35 See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!' "              NKJV

Yes, He had wanted to gather the children together. He desired what the Father desired.

Psalm 81:13-16
13 "Oh, that My people would listen to Me,
That Israel would walk in My ways!
14 I would soon subdue their enemies,
And turn My hand against their adversaries.
15 The haters of the LORD would pretend submission to Him,
But their fate would endure forever.
16 He would have fed them also with the finest of wheat;
And with honey from the rock I would have satisfied you."   NKJV

Jesus came to bring love and light from the Father. God the Father desired His people to listen to Him. He desired Israel to walk in His WAYS! He so wanted to subdue all the enemies that was prevailing against them. And God would see them fed with the finest of wheat and with the honey from the rock God would satisfy indeed!

Yes, Jesus came and did that. Jesus endured for the joy that was set before Him. That joy came from the Father of His love. When He arose from the dead, He was seen by many. Was not held in a deep secret, but A REVEALED Jesus had risen from the dead.
He came through and in the Crowning MOMENT showed the earth and all its inhabitants that God was Alive! He came to reveal the Battle had been won. The cry had been heard, "it is finished!" And finished it was!
All chaos broke out after He was risen in Heaven. The disciples now Apostles were being changed from glory to glory. The talk was probably non-stop. But on Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came in power, He revealed the wind of change.
Prayer was the word Jesus gave. Go back to Jerusalem and tarry!

Do you want change?
Is it time to speak as Jesus spoke? Is it time for a Battle Cry or just that wimpy whine?
As the intercessor for your family, for your community and for your church or body of believer's, is it time to shout out in prayer?
My intercession times are not marked with sighs or too much silence. I am not protesting God's goodness, but I am protesting the enemies and their rights. They have none in my life or in yours.

 I do not need a megaphone. God hears my cries, and He hears yours as well.  I may not have every hair in place on my head or even the clothes on that looks like a militant ready for battle, but I do have on the full armor of God. I am in tune with His heart and when I hear that battle sound of the drums.........playing........I am knowing my God is for me and He is on His way with what I require.
Prophetic, most likely.
Significant always. For intercessory prayer is reaching God's heart for those around us. It is the instrument of sound from our hearts that states loudly..........." boots are on the ground and we are taking territory for the kingdom of God".
Cursing, never.
Complaints, no. I'd rather not whine when I know His Blood covered and brought change for a human race.

God is brilliant. He needs no introduction. He made His life known when He placed the stars in the sky. Keeping our focus on Him, helps us capture His thoughts for the right plan, for the people to pray for, for the family member who is lost in drugs, for the one wanting to control you in the work place, or even in some form of rejection, Jesus knows. God always brings us to the that place which is knowing who we are in Him and how valued we are.
Let Him remind you of the Love He sent for you. Let Him soothe your anxious brow that everything is going to be alright.
Let Him gather you as a mother hen and her chicks, and let Him speak mysteries that will light the fire in your heart to pray............to give the sound of the beating drums from that which comes from Heaven through you to bring change. Touch Heaven today and see your earth changed for the good.
That is why He came!

An OMG Moment

I know those acronyms have to be used at times, but in doing it throughout the day, are we shorting ourselves with actual contact with another. If we use it while texting, then Facebook, are we using in conversations with others as well?

Was thinking on this the last few days. Energy seemed to exit my body and I taking my right and reinforcing my words of strength from God's Word like strength in Psalm 27.

Psalm  27:1-3
The LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war should rise against me,
In this I will be confident.  NKJV

God has given me things to do and it requires lots of strength. He has things for you to do and it requires hearing Him and having strength to do it!

Numbers 24:8-9
8 "God brought them out of Egypt;
they have the strength of a wild ox.
They devour hostile nations
and break their bones in pieces;
with their arrows they pierce them.
9 Like a lion they crouch and lie down,
like a lioness--who dares to rouse them? NIV

Delivered out of Egypt, we too were delivered .......and the Savior is Jesus. The above mentions they came out with the strength of a wild ox.
Brought out to live in God and be free from slavery.

THE WORD OF GOD

The Word of God is God’s witness to the believer (1 John 5:11-13). The Greek text includes the article with the word “life.” Salvation in Christ is not just the gift of life, but of “the life,” the one which comes only through faith in God’s unique Son Declaring Him in Scripture is one who believes in Christ’s as Son and Savior and work on the cross as God’s provision for his sins!

IN  Eternal life, we must read, know and speak to others:John 3:36 The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him.

1 John 5:11-13 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. The one who has the Son has this eternal life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have this eternal life. I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

WE declare that Forgiveness of all sin is available in Him.

Acts 10:43 About him all the prophets testify, that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.

Colossians 2:13 And even though you were dead in your transgressions and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he nevertheless made you alive with him, having forgiven all your transgressions.

NO longer slaves we are free In HIM......and that is Freedom from condemnation.

John 5:24 “I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears my message and believes the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

AND TO BE JUSTIFIED......THAT Justification (declared righteous by God) LOOKS AND SOUNDS LIKE: Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with GOD THROUGH our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Romans 4:1-6 What then shall we say that Abraham, our ancestor according to the flesh, has discovered regarding this matter? 2 For if Abraham was declared righteous by the works of the law, he has something to boast about—but not before God. 3 For what does the scripture say? “ Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” 4 Now to the one who works, his pay is not credited due to grace but due to obligation. 5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous, his faith is credited as righteousness. 6 So even David himself speaks regarding the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

Romans 4:25 He was given over because of our transgressions and was raised for the sake of our justification.

It is by grace that we are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God and it is not from works, so that no can boast. We have become His children.

John 1:12 But to all who have received him—those who believe in his name—he has given the right to become God’s children

Romans 8:14-17 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit himself bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ)—if indeed we suffer with him so we may also be glorified with him.

How can anyone text God? They can't! How can they possibly e-mail Him or send an Instragram......and yet He is ever watching, and ever faithful to waiting on His children to come to Him. It is not in an OMG moment!
In Job 18:7....the verse tells us ...that the steps of his strength are shortened, and his own counsel casts him down.
If I flag communication as bad and deem it necessary to write acronyms, could I be hurting myself? We must speak with our own words that which God has given us to speak. We are to sound much like Jesus.........I and My Father are one!
The Message Bible speaks this of Job 18 ..."Here's the rule: The light of the wicked is put out. Their flame dies down and is extinguished. Their house goes dark------every lamp in the palce goes out. Their strong strides weaken, falter, they stumble into their own traps. They get all tangled up in their own red tape, Their feet are grabbed and caught, their necks in a noose. They trip on ropes they've hidden, and fall into pits they've dug themselves.

Yeah that OMG Moment might just plummet one into total darkness for ever. What we say with our mouths we can surely have.
Maybe I should have titled this: "What you SAY is WHAT you Get"!

The Stairway

Ever have dreams about stairways? I sometimes do. I sometimes have them of others descending a staircase into the basement area. The building is luxurious. It has marble in most open areas. And I am watching one or two descend. My question: "Were they checking out the foundation of the building?"
Did not seem right to me, but in their choosing they were headed the way they had just started to ascend from.
I wonder if we ever think of how we might be a staircase for those who know not Jesus and have not heard the Word of Salvation. Or have we thought of how just maybe, we might be the staircase we might represent to those who have a wrong teaching about Jesus.
He is certainly about love and expressed it in the times of fun and correction as well. He was always directing others to the Father of His love!

I like the reading of 1 John 5:1-3...Message Bible:
It states: Every person who believes that Jesus is, in fact, the Messiah, is God-begotten. If we love the One who conceives the child, we'll surely love the child who was conceived. The reality test on whether or not we love God's children is this: Do we love God? Do we keep his commands? The proof that we love God comes when we keep his commandments and they are not at all troublesome.

In 1 John 4:16-21...Message Bible:
It states: God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we're free of worry on Judgment Day----our standing in the world is identical with Christ's. There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. since fear is crippling, a fearful life----fear of death, fear of judgment---is one not yet fully formed in love.
We though, are going to love----love and be loved. First we were loved, now we love. He loves us first. If anyone, boasts, "I love God" and goes right on hating his brother or sister thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he won't love the person he can see, how can he love the God he can't see? The command we have from Christ is blunt: Loving God includes loving people. You've got to love both.

I remember this gentleman who came to our church almost 20 years ago now. He was a pastor from Oklahoma. He was involved in prayer ministry and saw many miraculous signs in his ministry that God had called him to walk in his lifetime.
It was awe inspiring testimony he gave and caused a fire to burn within me to pray more. He told how he could pray hours on end. God would tell him endless secrets and mysteries from the Word of God........and he stated that when he began ministry, in a closet in prayer some 8-10 hours a day.....AND......after about 3 months he moved into ministry. Was no platform as such other that God called and he obeyed God.
He said the hardest ABOUT ministry WAS that OTHER PEOPLE were involved. I laughed! He said ministry would be great if people were not involved, because each will bring something with them. They have the Holy Spirit and they bring some baggage!
But he also stated He loved God so much and wanted others to know Him in the same manner. He believed prayer was the power from heaven released to reach the lost. Showed him love he had never known. He told how his natural father was abusive and how God loved him no matter what!

Romans 10:14-15
14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

NIV

Many have not heard the Gospel once and so how they call on the one they have not believed in? How can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news to those who are in need of a Savior!

Present to others the Stairway to which brings life with the Savior Jesus Christ.
Ascend to the place in God where joy and laughter is heard. Ascend the Staircase and show others the beauty each step holds to be in His Presence and to reside with the Son of His love.

Recently had the most awesome visit with young friends who moved away years ago. They are close in age with our own daughter. They have been close for many years. Of course, of their return for a vacation retreat to the Gorge, I experienced conversation with them that seem to take up where it was left off many years ago. They are family to us. No, not by biological blood but by the Blood of the Lamb, we are FAMILY. They love people and it shows. They proved to have that continued walk with the Lord that has remained and strengthen their own young ones to grow up knowing the Lord as well.
God our Father, has given us those who will always share with us the blessings that follow the Christ, the One who gave of His own life. He dedicated His life to show the way to the Father who resides in heaven.
Can we do as much?
AND now to Him who can keep you on your feet, standing tall in His bright presence, fresh and celebrating----to our one God, or only Savior, through Jesus Christ, our Master, be glory, majesty, strength, and rule before all time, and now, and to the end of all time. Yes!
(Jude 24-25)
Amen!
