One True God

There is a program I try to catch daily, but because the time of it is during the morning , I have to record to watch at a more convenient time. I pay attention to prophets who give the last day prophesy and how it lines up with the Old Testament prophets and their prophecies! Especially today when you have the return of early gods from early Greece. You know the ones, like whom the disciples had to work the Gospel against after Jesus was crucified. For when Paul was imprisoned in Rome, he certainly saw to it that John the apostle and Mary, Jesus’ mother, would move into Ephesus to keep the church going.

Of late, I have heard that this program needs help to stay on the air! Seems like those who would hear have either chosen to vacate their lives for fun world for several weeks in the hot summer sun or else have chosen not to see the kingdom of God go further in touching lives for God’s glory. So they just hoard their money in that “safe” place to use for their next summer fun in the sun adventure!

Was reading about Paul in Ephesus. I loved the parts about him laying his cloths on individuals and seeing them healed for God’s glory. And this proved to be against those who did their magic and incantations in that region. Can you see Paul working and praying in tongues. Then when he has worked he goes out to give people the word of God, the kingdom has appeared and how people are healed in Jesus' name.

Ephesus was notorious for its magical arts and amulets of parchment with inscribed incantations, valued at enormous prices (50,000 pieces of silver), yet freely given up to the flame when their possessors received a living faith found in Acts 19:19 Also many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver.

With the evidence of what occurred in Ephesus, Paul writes to Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:13 “seducers (conjurors) shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.  2 Timothy 3: 13 But evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

So the very  "special miracles" which God wrought by the hands of Paul were exactly suited to conquer the magicians on their own ground: handkerchiefs and aprons from his body brought as a cure to the sick; evil spirits cast out by him; and when exorcists imitated him, the evil spirits turning on them and rending them.

EPHESUS was the capital of the Roman province “Asia” which included Mysia and Lydia. Ephesus supported a port in that region. This hub connected the great emporium of Asia with the interior. Ephesus was the place where John, Timothy and Mary the mother of Jesus were buried.

It was a proconsul or "deputy" that ruled Asia. We find that he is mentioned in Acts 19: on circuit, holding "the court days are (now being) kept." The "town clerk" had charge of the public records, opened state letters, and took notes of the proceedings in the assembly

Paul encountering those who worship Diana and Zeus, found that his reputation had spread throughout Asia thus making him a threat to the beliefs and lifestyle of many people. When Paul was here, the temple in Ephesus dated back to the eighth century B.C.  This temple was also considered one of the seven wonders of the world.

Acts 19: 26-29 NKJV 26 Moreover you see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but throughout almost all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away man people, saying that they are not gods which are made with hands. 27 For not only is  this trade of ours in danger of falling into disrepute, but also the temple of the great goddess Diana may be despised and her magnificent destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worship. 28 Now when they heard this, they were full of wrath and cried out, saying, “Great is Diana of the Ephesians!” 29 So the whole city was filled with confusion, and rushed into the theater with one accord, having sieved Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul’s travel companions.

Yes, a business recession occurred among the idol makers in Ephesus. The spiritual awakening in the city was widespread. Demetrius, a silversmith, was one of those seriously affected. He made silver shrines of Diana. Serving as a spokesman for the trade, it was Demetrius who would gather together all his fellow craftsmen and sought out to stir the people to take some resolute action against Paul. But Paul had been successful in persuading the people that there are no gods which are made with human hands. For Demetrius had revealed his real motive when he said their trade was in danger, he also colored it with religious tones pretending great reverence for Diana and her temple so business could continue as usual.

Other craftsmen or laborers were also noted who would lose their financial status with the gospel going forward. Acts 19:24-25 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Diana, brought no small profit to the craftsmen. 25 He called them together with the workers of similar occupation, and said: "men, you know that we have our prosperity by this trade."

So loudly this silversmith proclaims his rights. And the crowd is livid. But the “clerk” gave a speech at a crucial moment. As the city clerk succeeded in quieting the mob, he in effect told the Ephesians that they had nothing to fear. Everyone knew that the Ephesians were the guardians of the shrine of Diana. The “clerk” worked hard to pacify those who have such a fuss. And he reminded them of regular courts of law were open to them and with help proconsuls were ready to hear their charges should they have anything else to reveal. So order was commanded. The city clerk wanted the riot to quiet down so those in Rome would not hear of the complaints as he most certainly would lose his job should Rome heard about was going on.

Protection from the municipalities had occurred. Paul saw the opportunity change for Ephesus. He moved on to the next area. He would go to Macedonia.

Taking just a minute detail from Paul in Ephesus, reveals he proved dangerous to the enemy. Paul had a prayer for the people to have insight.  Ephesians 1:15-19  Amplified Bible 15 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints ( the people of God), 16  I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers. 17 For I always pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [ of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [ deep and intimate] knowledge of Him.  18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light; so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), 19 And [ so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength.  In Ephesians 3, he gave the apostle's prayer for power: Ephesians 3:14-21 NKJV 14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is name, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height---19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

So how much of His power really works in us, so that we can as Him do the impossible? That power is to complete something. It is an exertion. A power that enables us to accomplish that which He desires us to do for Him and His kingdom. It is cooperating with God and it works as we continue to take on His likeness and enter His kingdom. You cannot work if you are not connected with Him! God wants to counsel us and lead us by His Holy Spirit!

Paul had this available and he taught those in Ephesus of that power. For our strength is by the Holy Spirit. It is by faith and love in Christ’s indwelling that we keep future focused. This is for believers connected and God’s glory. As the believer we are called to responsibility in unity with diligence. Just like we saw those against God in unity, we are to grow in maturing as the body of Christ becoming the Bride Jesus will come for. It is untainted love, to shine as undimmed light bearers and to have on the new man. It is knowing the one true God, pursing His will and wisdom, to maintain the fullness of the Holy Spirit through worship and humility. Ephesians 5:18-21 NKJV 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God.

The “clerk” in Ephesus wanted to please the people in their hearing. He wanted to keep his job. But what if we want to reveal the kingdom of God instead? It is according to God’s order. And it is a call to spiritual warfare: the reality of the invisible conflict,  armor for the warrior and the action involved in that warfare. Paul used handkerchiefs and aprons from his body that brought a cure to the sick; evil spirits cast out by him; and when exorcists imitated him, the evil spirits turning on them and rending those broken and bruised.

As Paul was and so are we SEALED by the Holy Spirit authorized to represent Christ, He is also the REAVEALER of Christ, He is the one who enlightens hearts for God’s purpose and he Empowers us to go as Christ strengthens us from within. As the Spirit of unity, and holiness, He is the Giver of the Word as sword for battle and He is on duty even now. Let’s go in Jesus Name and see His kingdom flourish: One true God! Amen.

Now How Many Lightbulbs Do I Need?

Voice of Prayer
Ever walk into a room, turn on the lights, and the light bulb burns out in the corner lamp or overhead?
Or have you ever turned on the lights in say the living room or dining room, walk to the back of the house to do something and return to the living room to find the "room seems somehow darker than when you left it just a few minutes earlier"?
I can work in the office, and spend time reading, turn off the light when leaving the room and return an hour later, by flipping the wall switch on, the room does not appear as brightly clothed in light as it once did an hour earlier. Looking up to the ceiling, I find a bulb has gone dark and with only one bulb remaining, filling the room with some light appears less effective in producing that light. With the one darkened bulb, only one is left to do the job of two. (yeah, the room still appears dark, right?)

Turning on lights in a room during the day is really no big deal and to find the lights burn out simultaneously still is not a big deal unless you live in the northwest, and a marine push is blocking out the sunlight in the early part of the day!
I do not change those light bulbs out. I leave it for my husband to do. The covers on those light bulbs seem contrary in trying to release them from their ceiling mount. Yes, I leave that job for the engineer! It is not a pretty sight when I wrestle one of those down from it's high ceiling mount!
But seriously as the believer in Jesus, we are to be " a light" and to continue to burn for Him!
John 1: 6 -13  NKJV  6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness to bear witness of the Light, that all through Him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name; 13 who were born, not of blood, not of the will of the flesh, not of the will of man, but of God.

Verses 6-8 speaks of John the Baptist.
John was bearing the light that Jesus was coming. And as the witness John the Baptist spoke of the true "LIGHT"! And the true Light is in Jesus!
I had written in recent days of KISSED HEAVEN and WENT TO HELL! In writing that, Judas was the one who kissed Jesus, had all the teachings that Jesus gave to the "disciples", still Judas went to hell. By betraying Jesus, he showed his true colors! He loved serving himself and getting his own gain but cost him "big" in his end. He might have been the accountant, but he took no thought on how much betraying Jesus would cost him!

I always think about people this time of year. Kids are out of school, summer has begun, and there is just so much activity outside to do. The "fun run" marathons, the three day vacation's to grandma's house (where you can eat anything you want), the splash in the pool is a great adventure especially for the young ones still learning to swim. But I also think about my husband and his hours busily preparing for the coming weather this winter. He is stocking up for sure, checking everything he might need in moment's notice of time, and writes down any items he should pick up at the hardware store.
Yesterday, he was out making room in the storage unit and giving it some new paint on those cabinets. He has been looking at prices on portable heaters and their cost, and what size room the heater will heat when sun shines somewhere else, the temperature readings have plunged to 20 degrees and Jack Frost came overnight to leave ice on the big pine tree.

Yes, I thought a lot about those who took to highways and by-ways, to take that special trip the last couple of days. Summer vacation has begun. But they will return, tired from their trip, a little less money in their pockets, and their focus turns to looking at school supplies, clothes and more money needed to supply for that all new adventures back to school;

Jesus brought light to a darkened world. Jesus brought His kingdom that the Father desired to bring to have His family with Him. But some will find other ventures, some time consuming, and will avoid possibly all teachings of the Lord. Each of us as the believer is to tell someone about Jesus. You could tell them by buying their next bags of groceries, you could shovel their driveway when the snow is too deep for them and their age limits their actions for doing pushing a snow shovel in 3 feet of snow.

It is not about "being God" to them, but showing them the love of God in you!
We had read on Judas and of his betrayal toward Jesus, the true LIGHT, we actually saw Judas had no light or life in himself.  His life was ruled by him for himself!

But we still have opportunity to spend time with the Lord, learn of His ways and prosper in that which He purposed for us to do. Ask yourself, "are you bringing light to the place you influence others"? "Do they see Jesus in you and experience God when you speak?" "Are you their only 'encourager'?"
We all will play a part in the last days mentioned in the Word of God!
What part will you play in these last days? For whatever time remains, we each have light if we have Jesus in our hearts. It will either be the bright light of day or the darkness of night, and I would rather choose to see. I would choose to see Jesus, experience His love for me and know my Father in heaven is looking down on me and God the Holy Spirit living within me gives us power to walk and do for God everyday..
As the believer, we were those released from that appointment of death. We have Jesus, and may His praise be on our lips. This is a new day, with the LIGHT of the LORD to direct our pathway. Will we not go with Him and find the really true adventure of a lifetime that will never end?
Summer will end and fall will begin....after that possible snow will come to cover highways and back roads and maybe your yard. Darkness will begin to come earlier, may your light shine for others to see. And may you know the way in which you are to walk!
For the ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them. (Hosea 14:9)

An Hysterical Marker

In the early part of this morning, I was remembering these long walks my husband and I would take when we lived in rural Wyoming. We lived in area much like where we live today, but the main road through the tiny hamlet allowed people to walk on the wide shoulder of a very wide two lane road. We had moved to the area when our daughter was about to turn nine years old. We had lived what was considered "town" with all the major attractions like MacDonald's and a K-Mart.
Living out and away from the "congested" part of town and the crossroads to America, we liked the quiet life in the country community. Our walks took us out to the historical marker outside of the tiny hamlet. It was exactly a six mile walk and in that we could easily claim the 12 mile accomplished in about an hours time.
While my husband worked, I remained home to see our daughter was on the bus for her ride to the next little hamlet for school. When the breakfast dishes had been cleaned up and the beds made, I would suit up for a cold brisk walk with two lady friends to that historical marker. So, regularly I was marking out a path of exercise to keep my body healthy.
On our drive out of the "tiny hamlet" one day, not long after we had moved there, our daughter exclaimed we were passing that "hysterical marker". I corrected her, speaking out loud "historical marker." She asked what the difference was in the two words.
Trying to turn toward her from the front seat, I explained the difference. My husband just laughed quietly, but I continued on with explaining the difference.
The meaning of hysterical is out of control emotions. Can produce crying in this extreme emotion of a person. It was noted as "uncontrollable". Also listed as in a situation in which many people behave or react in an extreme or uncontrolled way because of fear, anger, etc.

The meaning for "historical" is this: belonging to or a typical study of history. Concerned with events of the past, based on factual material distinct from legend or supposition. Relating to some event marked at a location to show some prominence to a specific occurrence, people involved, etc.

From that day on, we would pass by "that marker" and refer to it as an hysterical marker.

Now the MARKER in question was set for the area of the Tongue River. It had served as a trail and stage coach road crossing. It was known as the Bozeman Trail and it was a road, if you please, that took man to the Montana gold fields. It had its beginnings in 1864. This well-planned effort had to cut through Powder River Basin. Oh yes, and it certainly violated the Fort Laramie Treaties which was held originally as tribal land for the Northern Plain Tribes.
It was under the leadership of a James A. Sawyers to build the road to Montana. There was upheaval, and the Araphao tribe brought in a "war party" to stop the Sawyer's encampment. But progress continued. Yes, that Trail came into being as General Patrick Connor took to his orders readily. Military protection had to come and keep some kind of peace.
It was between 1879 through the year of 1895 that a post office appeared. Yeah, wonder who delivered the mail? Probably the Pony Express delivered it!
Then the stage line station served the Rock Creek Stage Line. It was some 400 mile line that ran from the location of Rock Creek on the U.P.Railroad in southern Wyoming to Billings, Montana.
It served the people till 1890 when a variety of much shorter stage routes had come into existence. You know people scout out the quicker, yes the faster way to get from point A to point B. And its days came to an end.
In respect to those who knew the land as home, they came into some emotional and probably hysterical pain of tears and most likely death. What had been given them changed to accommodate the one holding more power.

We find a "marker" set by God when He went with the people. Read here in Exodus 13.

Exodus 13:17-22
17 Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, "Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt." 18 So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt. 19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for he had placed the children of Israel under solemn oath, saying, "God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here with you." 20 So they took their journey from Succoth and camped in Etham at the edge of the wilderness. 21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. 22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.   NKJV

That pillar of a cloud marked that God was with His people. He was their guard both in front and from the rear.

Exodus 14:19-20
19 And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them. 20 So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.  NKJV

Oh yes, the opportunity to step into some uncharted territory and obey God with a loud"yes"  brings me past the "hysterical" marker. When responding to God, do we find ourselves still dealing with old patterns of thinking? Is it possible we hold onto those old patterns out of security?
God had taken these people the long way around. Yes, they could have gotten to the place planned for them, but God had to test hearts, and any battle for some is found in their weakness to submit to the old ways. But as believer's with a real trust in God must change, and grow up in Christ. God wants to enlarge our capacity to work with Him. Remember He is God! You cannot put Him in a box!

These people who had seen God do the miraculous and freed them from that slave driven force of Pharaoh, now faced a more hideous schemer, the one located between the two ears of every believer. We should sincerely be God focused.........with a lazer ability to keep and know Him to keep with what He has planned for us.
But returning to "old patterns" of thinking, the focus shifts to "security". And sometimes it is because the man or woman fears. Instead of FAITH, doubt takes over, the man or woman then is limited in an ability to step into what God has called them to.

The signs and wonders of the past can actually hinder our future if we righteously cling to them! We require no "stage coach" lines today. We can get from point A to point B in just minutes with all that horse-power under the hood. And you can see some get really "angered" and see road rage take over a person just while driving from Point A to Point B.

God our Father is not limited, nor is He weak or tottering for His last breath. He is God Almighty. He is the Everlasting Father and the Amen to our situations. Our security should reside in Him and not in another person or thing. When we hold onto things to keep our position, or security, we will find out one day, that a whole life wasted on just being secure was not worth it. A life devoted God brings us to a new adventure and a fruitfulness that He is pleased with. Our faith is to expand just like Jesus' did. His trust was not in things or keeping His position secure, it was about giving everything over to the Father. Our identity must be in Him!

What God had provided as manna and the pillar of His presence will still be with us. The giants we face is not the other person, but our belief in who they are to us and if they have come to take away our security. It is what we desire to hold on to instead of reaching to touch other lives because of Him. If we are not bringing attention to him, then why not?

Everyone has a significant role to play in this adventure. It is time to put away that which is not beneficial to growth in the Lord. That anti-christ does not care how long you take to get yourself moving for God. In fact, you could probably take all your life to get ready, but we should be acting now and taking action requires no baggage on board.
God is for us. He is not against us. He has done all He was going to do. Now He waits to see what we will do.
Will we make a mark of historical value for the kingdom of God or will be just an "hysterical" marker of one living out of the emotions and falling short in security? Today we decide.

In the Heart of a Nation

What have we seen in the nation like Israel? Have we searched the pages of the Bible to read it and find what the "heritage" looked like for those who walked generation after generation with God and what it probably looked like for those who did not walk the paths of peace with God?  No, many went their own way into idolatry and lusts of every kind and ended up dead well before their years were spent!
Today, is our heart set to God's heart in the plan for America? I often see pictures, artworks in galleries and many on display in the nearest photo gallery of that which captures one's heart. I see that which people seem to long for, have lived and left for another country, or else were uprooted deliberately to be brought to a nation they knew nothing of or even cared about.
In all my years, I always remember having the opportunities in school to have history lessons on our forefathers of this great nation. I remember how it was begun so many hundreds of years ago. And in all my learning of this country, I am in awe of the founding fathers persistence to keep pursuing forward for God. There is a program on the Christian Channel "Faith in History" given by William Federer. I find it on channel 377 TCT.....3:30 p. m. weekdays. In this program, he relates historic truths and the cost many of those paid in the early days of this country. Of late, I have even seen some presidents spoken of in the "light of God and His Word".
I believe that "light" is shining on us today. In this hour will we be found those who will pray for our country, pray that "it's " best days are ahead and not behind?

I grew up in a state where people sought out justice and for the vastness of it in the early days, they deputized men who would as a team work together to see that those breaking the law would be brought back alive for justice to be served. I remember reading and hearing stories that my great grand-parents passed along. They spoke of how the civilized world in those early states of this country were anything, but civilized.

My heart has always been that which God had placed in me. I would take in all that knowledge and then spend time out of doors to see the vastness of God and His beauty that is all around. People today spend hours writing with paint cans all types of graffiti on say train cars and buildings. Although those belong to others, still people are writing on that which does not belong to them. They try to get over the truth that they long for another country. They let others know they feel the lesser and less fortunate in this vital country where people can work, people can dream, and people can make a difference. But it is like anything we try to do with others, it takes "team" work.

My heart seeks the Father's heart for our country. I seek His direction and how to pray for this place of beauty and how it was forged by men who had hearts after God! In His plan all lives matter and it was as such for this country and yet, in all that was still not slavery seen in those first colonies of this nation?  But such stories are being revealed today of those who came from Africa made a difference in this nation. They came from England, France, Italy, and other European countries. Some came with the German sounding names, yet they came to live a life free to worship, to live to have family together and live to see another day flourishing AND  not by trying to JUST survive.
In seeing this program and especially about the founding fathers and their vital signatures on a document that in the long run cost them, not only sometimes their very lives, but also their families, their homes and livelihood as well, they would not have a changed a thing they did to be in America. They left religious bondage in some cases and others just left who had no rights to who they could or would worship!
Today, we have many streaming into this nation who do not want to be known. They desire others to not know their agenda's. In the early years of this country, many entered through Ellis Island and gave their information. In this vast melting pot of so many nations, would it not still be vital to give the information of what your name is, what you intend and if you will work with a dream of just live off the government??
THERE WAS A CHRISTIAN MAN WHO HAD A DREAM! And like him, we too, continue to dream that our nation will be like it was strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. We have a dream that millions will know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Yes we too have a dream, that many will come to peace in His name and under His leadership as Lord.

Jesus said this thousands of years ago and it still hold so true today:
John 8:30-36
30 As He spoke these words, many believed in Him. 31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." 33 They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can you say, 'You will be made free'?" 34 Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. NKJV

I believe if people come with the knowledge of leaving that bondage behind, they will move through and gain a freedom. Jesus said those who abide in Him are His disciples indeed. But He said if you abide in MY WORD! And the people He spoke too were those in bondage as to sin...........He spoke of them as "slaves". But the son who abides in the Words of God, that which Jesus gave us will be the son who abides forever.
The knowledge we truly need comes through Jesus and that abiding.

Where do our "hearts" reside? Are we in the past? I believe people who came from other countries hundreds of years ago were torn away from families and from their homes they knew. Many knew much hardship and pain, but those who kept seeking the "better" life kept their hearts to living as the free. Churches were built and people knew God. In the hardships of the twentieth century many became aware of the evil of men's hearts in the great holocaust of such magnitude. And yet it is occurring today and great magnitudes of Christian families are being decimated in magnitudes that whole cities are non-existent. Very few people remain in a once thriving city there in the Eastern country of Syria and city of Aleepo. I viewed recently on CNN a woman journalist who moved through quickly to document the holocaust. She went through there not staying long in any one area of the country. For it was for her safety and the teams, that they would move and cover the news of the holocaust. In one viewing we saw  the very few who gather each day at the remaining well of water in Aleepo, and they range in age of about 70 years of age to about 20 years of age. The handful who remain of children were being moved out of "danger". Yes many Christians in those eastern middle nations are being destroyed. Their once thriving cities are rubble heaps today with no car traffic and no visible business anywhere. There is no lights on and no grocery stores to shop at for food.
There are no medics found!

In years gone by, many came to this country.........and they came with few belongings in hand. They came from religious bondage, from slavery to slavery, from more than enough to down right lacking in food, medicines and the such. This country was founded on the principle that all men could be free. It was the land of the free and the home of the brave!
We must keep our eyes open to what God would be speaking and giving us in this hour for this vital nation. Let's remember that to be a son, we must act like the son and not like the alien, the slave. We must have our sights on God and His Word just like our forefather's of this nation.

No, I was not related to them by blood, but I hold in my heart what they held in theirs and that all men can be free. It is in the relationship with God and holding His Words to our heart that we will go forth in freedom that is truly of God and not of man or men.
To be the brave, we must have courage and in truth to abide in Him, and hold our faith up as that shield that if God be for us, then who can possibly be against us? His word must have a place in our hearts.

Will we write the "vision" on our hearts today and pray for "the brave" to rise out of hiding? Will we seek God and His plan like the forefathers did so many hundreds of years ago?
Today I encourage  you to not fear! Be willing to proclaim, to publish a vision that God is for us. Be willing to open those flood gates of praise to Him and let others know you believe this to be a great nation that is one nation wholly under God! Set your foreheads like flint, and speak with confidence that God will do what He planned for America. Pray that He will show you where you stand in this defining hour of strength and courage in God who is more than enough to accomplish what we put into His hands to do. Let's set our faith in Him and His Word. Let's have the fear of God that is written about in Proverbs 8:13.
Proverbs 8:13...The fear of the LORD is to hate evil, pride, arrogance, and the evil way. The knowledge we must know is that which is from God. We desire His wisdom to live the moral life which is toward being holy.

If one desires to go back to their "own" country, then they should be able to do so without fear. What we hold in our hearts will certainly be seen. And in that inward attitude, our conduct is seen on the outside. Ours is to be that which departs from evil. And in every circumstance of life we are to choose God and His way. Our choosing God is loving His way, is doing right and having a life that is living in the fear of the Lord!

It will cost you something! But can you hide forever? No, it is time to rise and shine! For you will look like "love" to others. Choosing God is choosing to be "the brave". Put on that shield of faith and the breastplate of righteousness. Set your sights on God to hear Him speak and then be "ready for the adventure of your life". I am, are you?

Set the spiritual authority you walk in and know through God and remind God of this one passage given to us:

Amos 5:21-24..............21 "I hate, I despise your religious feasts;
I cannot stand your assemblies.
22 Even though you bring me burnt offerings and grain offerings,
I will not accept them.
Though you bring choice fellowship offerings,
I will have no regard for them.
23 Away with the noise of your songs!
I will not listen to the music of your harps.
24 But let justice roll on like a river,
righteousness like a never-failing stream! NIV
Our traditions mean nothing to God. What we esteem as our heritage brings no life. The only life that can be found is in Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory!
WE have nothing to bring the Father but our hearts. He will not listen to the music and have no regard for that with which we bring to worship Him. He truly desires our hearts, FIRST AND FOREMOST. He will not regard my latest new outfit, or your new car. He will not regard how we speak and teach AND give Him no glory.  He looks on the "heart"!

Jeremiah 17:9-10.....................9 "The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
10 I, the LORD, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings.   NKJV

I love this verse: Proverbs 16:1..........To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the reply of the tongue. NIV
We may make many plans in our heart but God answers what comes from what we speak. If we hold evil against another, evil will visit the house of the evil speaking person. What we hold in our hearts will be seen and it will be heard!

Father, let justice roll on like a river and righteousness like a never-failing stream. We pray in Jesus' name, that we know the heart is a deceitful thing, desperately wicked and that You search the heart and test the mind. YOU test giving to every man according to his ways. According to the fruit of his doings. Lord we pray that Your justice roll on like a mighty river. What was established in the beginning for this country, may it be seen in the land again. We know there to be many prayer warriors set like flint to pray out Your will for this nation. May it be truly one nation under God. May those who have set themselves to rule with evil and a heavy hand be sent backwards. May their devices come on their own heads, on their own children. For we seek that which is life everlasting, and life that is of goodness and peace in Jesus Christ. We can certainly pray for others, but the Word speaks in John 15:7-8............. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. NKJV

Father, we understand by this that spiritual authority is by abiding in You and the words You have given us. And when we do abide there, we ask what we desire and it is done! It is completed, the finished!
By this You our Father is glorified. Yes we expect to bear much fruit so we will be Your disciples forever.
We stand in the place of "Faith" and we speak with boldness, that we will not turn to the left but we keep like the one with the discerning heart that acquires knowledge and to have the ears of the wise seeking it out. (Proverbs 18:15)

We pray out of our hearts for this nation under one God.........Who is the Almighty, the Everlasting Father, the Great I am in our midst. We pray for the Wonderful Counselor and King of Glory to take  His rightful place in people's hearts and His place to rule forever. We know He is coming soon and many are in the valley of decision. Father we set our hearts to compel others by the Holy Spirit in us that unto Jesus is life and unto any other is to death. We desire God's family to be united in One Heart in God who is above all. It is in Him that we live and move and have our being. Amen.
