What Do You Mean There is No Storm?

What do you mean there is no storm? Hey, just look outside!
Yeah, that weatherperson surely has their work cut out for themselves. Yet, I have been aware their radar for this area is being serviced. So when might we expect the radar to be back on the job I ask you? (Lately I text our daughter to see what her phone shows as to a report)
The FORECAST: cold with sun. Light breezy winds out of the east will blow in the next cold front!
Well, it was anything but sunny on this day. Can you see the picture here? And that light breezy condition amounted to winds of about 70 miles per hour. Oh, and did I mention there was snow?
I was viewing the weather forecast today. I even surfed the Weather Channel. And in every place I thought to search out next week's temps all amounted to the day temp going from 20 degrees, to 17 degrees to 12 degrees. I told my husband I am not looking anymore this week and this is just Thursday. And I will not even mention the nighttime temps!
I admit it is Winter. And with winter comes all the wind, snow, frequent rains that freeze into a skating rink of roadways and pathways. Also, I remember Spring comes after Winter is finished. And yet, we are how many days into the winter season,.....oh yeah 10 days, right?

I remember Jesus being in a storm and demanded it to be still! And peace came in the midst of the chaos. But peace did not mean there was not a storm, and staying in peace during chaotic times does not mean there is no warfare going on.
God is not the author of any confusion. God is merciful with gentleness and much peace.

Let's read a passage here on staying in peace......

Luke 8:22-37  KJV

¶ 22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.
23 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.
24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
¶ 26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.
27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)
30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.
32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.
33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.
34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country.
35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
36 They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.
¶ 37 Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again.

In verse 23, that jeopardy is DANGER!
Gaining a perspective of sea water plus wind, one finds ultimate peril.
In seeing where this group of men were going and who they were to encounter, brings us to the heart of the matter. The devil certainly did not want Jesus and the team to make it to the other side. Seriously, many a demon had made their home in the man who lived among the tombs. You might remember him as the man of Gadara.
So while the sea tossed a great tempest, Jesus commanded it to be stilled.
Seriously speaking, when a boat is taking on much water, then to me danger is eminent. So Jesus spoke to the storm and to the one who organized the chaos.
Calling on Jesus in the midst of such turmoil meant they needed an answer and where was their faith?

Excuse me for this but in thinking on this today, I am appalled that men believe there was this big bang theory. Yet, when I think of God and He spoke light be, I am thinking there was a sonic boom and in that explosion of light meeting the darkness, peace and organization came into being. The devil came to steal, kill and destroy. But Jesus came to give us life abundantly.
There was an explosion at a fireworks factory in Mexico a day or two before Christmas.......and when the explosions began people died. When God creates a "light be" then chaos becomes organized and there is only light.

So Jesus rebuked the wind and the raging waves of water. And they ceased to be. And what remained was a great calm.  Thus it was Jesus Christ Who showed that, though the devil pretends to be the prince of the power of the air, yet even there he has him in a chain.

On the other side of the storm was a man needing much help of Jesus. The man had many demonic spirits living within him. And when Jesus came to the side of the Gadarenes, he was met by the demoniac of Gadara.
So "legion" was sent out of the man!
And the people who owned the pigs came out to see. And those who lived in that community came out to see and they were all afraid at the demoniac now free, in his right mind, and dressed. And the people were afraid????

It was the same said of those after the election this year of the new president. They said they were afraid. Why would anyone be afraid of what God is doing to and for you?
Well, God is a God of sign and wonders. And He will accomplish His plan in the earth. There was opportunity for others to hear the message of salvation and it was time for that crew of people to be awaken to life of God. Wow, what events that occurred to just get to the other side.

And we complain about going to church in the rain???

WE are not alone! In this total ocean of air, there are spiritual beings who wage a war on humans. We must understand our spiritual well-being is to heed something Paul wrote us about. It is found in the book of Ephesians 6. And within the verses of 10-12, battles are waged by those determined to keep their first-occupancy rights. If you think you have heard about the "haters" you might have missed this one if you have not read Ephesians 6. But there are those who hate to a great degree. And they really hate when we have become sons of God.

Ephesians 6:10-20     KJV
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

As we continue to grow in bearing His image, their time is short and our inheritance will be returned to us. At this point it is by faith. It is an unseen force, but they exist none the less. And we are to be aware that they communicate with thoughts and attitudes.
We are not to be passive about those demonic spirits. We are to be active in speaking to the storm's, to sickness and even to that bed of affliction and say "you will not rise up a second time."

Today, take an active role in speaking to that which you do have authority over. By remaining in the Father, and keeping Jesus enthroned on our hearts, we will mark a path that is set with the mercy of God in peace and love.

OUR daughter and son-in-law had planned their wedding. Of course this has been awhile ago now. But when they chose the date it was winter time weather. Yes, February 2. And why not have a June wedding or maybe a 4th of July Wedding? No it was the 2nd of February. So some nine months ahead, while getting the gown, the bridesmaid outfits, and yes finding the right place to hose this wonderful even for two wonderful people, we were confessing that the temperatures would be in the sixties, the sun would shine, there would be no wind, and it would be a wonderful day to fly anywhere they would go on their honeymoon. We confessed so many things for that period of time and that all coming would be here for the event. Well it came to pass. It was a beautiful day. It was the mid- sixties and yes the snow from the days before had melted. The day came and it went, but it was marked out in what we believed to be true for our kids on their special day.

Ask yourself, "what is on the other side of this storm?" Ask what you need to know of the Father and to prevail by speaking what Jesus did. Our faith at times really needs some stretching. But we can overcome the world, Jesus did! Receive strength of the Lord. Walk through with your head held high. Speak peace, expect His love and know the best is coming your way. Oh the winds may be 80 miles an hour, the snow is on the level of 36 inches, yet, on the other side, we have a message to get out. We have someone to speak to about Jesus. Someone needs to know your testimony and my testimony.
We have the Holy Spirit and we will not cower in the corner. We will speak to symptoms, and to storms, and strange drivers on I-5 and say that they go in Jesus name. But the Lord is our shelter and we abide in His security and peace. May the Holy Spirit guide you and in the process of time, know His grace is sufficient.
Keep an attitude of a godly life and keep the excitement in your heart. And may you see the benefit of standing against the storms even when someone speaks " there is no storm"!

That Wedding Day!

Was captured by the wedding day of Rachel Lamb and Joshua Brown! Now if you watch Daystar Television.......then you know they were married in the last few months. And the leaders/hosts of Daystar Marcus and Joanie Lamb produced the wedding event for their family. Now in truth I saw it about three weeks ago and had seen it listed for this date. I did not watch it all, but waited for the part, you know, where the Bride makes her entrance. I was captured by the tears that flowed from that Joshua Brown and how he was touched by the entrance of his bride. The tears gently pushed aside, a smile enveloped his whole being.
I was captured that in the same respect as to seeing Jesus awaiting His Bride (the church), yes the one without spot or wrinkle appear before Him. Yes, I was moved in a way I had never thought of about a wedding scene.
I do not remember my groom having wept as I walked toward him on our wedding day. I cannot state what he experienced, but I can imagine what Jesus would experience on that eventful day.

Ephesians 5:26-33  KJV

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

I was always capture by verse 28-32 in that the groom, the husband to be would want to nourish his wife as he would his own body. The man was to leave his mother, his family and go make a new life with the Bride of his choosing. In becoming one flesh with her, would desire to nurture, care for and see she is safe.

Again, only speaking from what I have seen and experienced in my life, the wedding is surely the most festive event of one's life, whether you are the bride or the groom. And in concerning the Church and Christ Jesus, one thing remains, it will happen!
In knowing Jesus the Christ, we know Him as wisdom for us. He makes us so wise. Knowing Him and His wisdom is number one priority. It is not how much you make, it is not how much you owe, it is not if you were abandoned as a child, or how many millions you have in an account. It is not in accordance with how many degrees you might hold. For knowing Him, we count His knowledge as value to us (His bride). Those who discount Jesus also discount His knowledge. Being with Him, helps us to discern the important things in life. Maintaining His wisdom is foremost to us!

In regard to the one who has the bright mind, what good is it if the priority is not in God and for His glory? What will having a lot of degrees gain for you, if you should lose your soul?
In 2 Timothy 3:7....."they are forever inquiring and getting information, but are never able to arrive at a recognition and knowledge of the Truth." (Amplified Bible)

 Wise people seek Jesus first, then use their gifts to glorify Him.

At the end of this year 2016, look into the eyes of Jesus. Realign if you need to, and encounter God. Encounter Him as the priority not for a new direction or new walk. For we are to walk with Him and be led out into His peace. Encounter the Lord. Then and only then, will the time cultivate the openness with Him. In worship and time of prayer, we find the given instructions and then we move forward.
Be obedient to Him and His call to move you in a specific place and direction. Feed on His faithfulness and look for the meat of the Word. Find the fresh revelation of His Word. And then walk it out. In His presence there is the fullness of joy. In that future, we may speak as the "unknown" but the destination God knows really well.

Even as the groom and bride must let go of the familiar to embrace their future together, so too, we must allow some things to be removed from our lives. Dare to believe God has you and will keep you safe and secure. Stepping into that place as the believer, we trust no matter what. Surrendering our lives to Jesus, then everything, including our own wills, our own bodies and lives must be on that altar. There self is denied. For us to be anxious about saving any part of our past lives or security will only cause us to lose our spiritual lives.

As the Groom, Jesus is set on keeping us. John 17:9-10 Amplified Bible  9 I am praying for them, I am not praying (requesting) for the world, but for those You have given Me, for they belong to You. 10 Yours belong to Me, and I am glorified in (through) them. [They have done Me honor, in them My glory is achieved.]

Isaiah 61:10-11    KJV

10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

John wrote this in John 3:29-31,33    Amplified Bible   29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the groomsman who stands by and listens to him rejoices greatly and heartily on account of the bridegroom's voice. This then is my pleasure and joy, and it is now complete. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so]. 31 He Who comes from heaven is [far] above all [others]; he who comes from the earth belongs to the earth, and talks the language of the earth. [his words are from an earthly standpoint]. He Who comes from heaven is [far] above all others [far superior to all others in prominence and in excellence].
33 Whoever receives His testimony has set his seal of approval to this: God is true. [That man has definitely certified, acknowledged, declared once and for all, and is himself assured that it is divine truth that God cannot lie].

Yes, Marriage takes work. It is two people coming together to live as one unit, one mind, one heart and one love. In God. we can have that. And it is in hearing His voice that speaks truth to us, we stay in His presence, His love and safety.
That wedding day, when Christ returns for His Bride, I am certain there will be tears especially sorrow for those who never gave Him a thought.
Oh but for those who think daily on Him and delight to give Him praise, they will be dancing with joy. Come today and see the beauty He holds for you. Come today and abide in His security of love and peace. Come today and see yourself as His Bride and how He will gently keep you and cherish you forever. He will give you only truth of life and a love that is lasting!
John 17:3  Amplified Bible
And this is eternal life: [it means] to know ( to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with and understand) You, the only true and real God and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ ( the Anointed one, the Messiah,) whom You have sent.

The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians) say Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need of those things by which the souls is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take appropriate and drink the water of Life without cost. Revelations 22:17  Amplified Bible

Are We Taking God Seriously About What He Speaks & Plans?

Do we seriously take God at His word or is it just some fun and games for awhile?
Do we understand the importance of speaking God's Word and expect the miraculous as He did?
In the teaching this year, and on my Youtube channel as well, I know the Lord has me always speaking that each us take our place, and do the ministry as He purposed for each of us to fulfill in His name.
We are to "disciple" others and send them ......!

Was reading a timely article in the last hour here in my office. And in this writing, the woman wrote of the importance of sending people out. Within her written words, I was sensing the urgency to mentor others and how that might look. Earlier this year, I was contacted to mentor a person in the faith. All appeared good till one day, the person spoke this! They insisted they had not taken the mentorship seriously. After three really good and long scheduled meetings and touching on the specific points, we all need to know where we are to be in a year's time or even ten years out. So after only three meetings the mentorship stopped for this one individual.

In my years of ministry and time with others, you pretty much know those who really carry God in their hearts. They are on time, excited what the topic is for the meeting, and excited to apply the wisdom of God to their lives. But this year, I experienced something totally unexpected.
Returning to read over this woman's teaching and the importance of mentoring others, especially in the things of God, I was seeing with new eyes. I began to meditate on some scriptures from the book of Joshua.

Joshua 5:6-15

6 For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the Lord: unto whom the Lord sware that he would not shew them the land, which the Lord sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

7 And their children, whom he raised up in their stead, them Joshua circumcised: for they were uncircumcised, because they had not circumcised them by the way.

8 And it came to pass, when they had done circumcising all the people, that they abode in their places in the camp, till they were whole.

9 And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.

10 And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho.

11 And they did eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day.

12 And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?

14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

15 And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
KJV

Verse 13 tells us of the walk Joshua took outside his tent.
In this verse, Joshua had walked over close to Jericho. And he raised his eyes and he saw a man. The man had a sword drawn in his hand. Joshua went over to Him. Joshua asks: " are you for us or are you against us?"
Good question to ask no doubt, but the answer was probably a surprise. THE "man" said, "He was not for either side but for His own side."

Whether you mentor another or are teaching your children in the ways of the Lord, still it is not to be done as to or regarding my opinion, your opinion but that what is given is BECAUSE GOD said give this word in my Name.

The Word of God: Jesus spoke that He was the Captain. As the chief of this people, He would conduct and assist. It is not by our own power but by His that we succeed in this life. By His power, we seek His voice to go in the way that is life, is truth and keep leading us HOME where He resides.

The Commander of the Army of the Lord has come with His presence to fight alongside the faithful people. THIS power is available to those who are willing to obey Him and then to work with Him by cooperating with what He has spoken to you or to me.
In this short window view of Joshua, his obedience led to more experiences with God. In that we know that we are never alone, but that God, the FAITHFUL God is with us. In whatever struggles you face the end of this year, know you have the fighting chance that is with God Who is more than Enough to even the playing field.
Allow the Holy Spirit of God to show you, guide you and then lead you to those new things, and places in God. Allow Him, the Faithful to defend you

There is much more to this adventure with God. And Joshua held firm in Him and hearing His voice that would continue to lead them through no matter the enemy or the trial.
Authentic is a word in thinking of those who will not only desire to be mentored, but are ready to mentor others as they get established in God and in His ways and thoughts. It is continuing to reach others with truth and give them the Light of God to see what the faults or negative outcomes will be if we choose another way.
Jesus is, was and will always be on His Father's side. It is not about your side, my side, or that person's side. It will always add up to our wanting another to grow and become all that God desires them to become in this life.
For my husband, as well as myself, the "vision" has always been set in God. Our mandate is to reach others with the Gospel. By the salvation message, Jesus was raised from the dead........and in that produced the most shattering, hell-shaking, bondage breaking demonstrations that was to the Glory of Almighty God! We have "no agendas" of our own. We are desperate for the kingdom reality in all of its authentic manifestations. It is always our desire for the Holy Spirit to have the FREEDOM of movement here and in every gathering as we keep to maintaining obedience and dependence upon His leading us.

So if someone scoffs, blows off the importance of mentorship, remember you can find it here. These teachings are for you to go and teach others. They are available to reach others with exhortations and firm foundation of faith in God Who is God alone and in every place.
In this place of ministry, we view it as God given. And it is the Lord Who gives us understanding in all things. We are ready in season, out of season, and we are the watchful concerning our home, marriage, intercession and ministry. It is the Lord we expect..........who stands with us and strengthens us day by day, so that the message might be preached fully and courageously sharing the Gospel Message.

Jesus continued to minister to those who would receive Him and His truth. Jesus continued when one like Judas desired the moneybag more than Jesus Himself. Judas ended up with his guts spilled over a "potter's field".

Matthew 27:4-8

4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.

7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.

8 Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
KJV

We each can make a difference in another person's life! But will we want to be that difference?
Jesus was the answer for Judas Iscariot, but he chose another way. In it he found the money but it helped no one. The price he got for betrayal to Jesus was to purchase a field where the strangers would be buried. A stranger to buried.......really sets this passage in motion. It was a field to be called a field of blood.
For what was not of value to Judas, he forfeited. For what Judas desired to gain, others paid and the field was used much like Jesus intended. For one man was to die for the whole world. And Jesus did that. What was of life, truth and peace did not come to Judas or the others who betrayed, but to those who give selflessly for God's plan find all they need.

For Judas, his way was right to him. The way of sin always leads downward. For what Judas desired and of that which he coveted surely found that which glitters is not of gold. For in his hands that silver became dross. What was delivered up by him became violence and injustice.

It is the Lord's side that we should want to be found. He is life, the way and truth to us!

In the last week, a specific word came to me. The woman giving it, did not know me, but she spoke this: "for those who have placed teachings on a Youtube channel, know that God is doing this and He will bring them forward in His timing. " "For what you have done is not in vain, but according to His plan and for purpose for the end time."
I had thought it important to reach as many individuals as possible, teach them what I know and send them on to teach others. Although refused by one, I know others who benefited what the Lord has shown me decade after decade!
I send this to you, to encourage you to keep going, keep doing for the Lord and He will bring to light all you have done for His glory. It is not over. Look up, your redemption draws near, and within that you  will fulfill all that He has purposed for you to do for and to His eternal glory. Soar with eagles!

Keep in step with the Holy Spirit...........Amen!

A Foggy Situation

Hebrews 12:1-6
12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. 4 You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. 5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:

"My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,
Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
6 For whom the LORD loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives."
NKJV

Are we looking for a successful conclusion? But does that conclusion involve that one ultimate "thing" that in a life of faith we will actually sit down in the presence of God?
From the above passage, Jesus has gone before us. He ran the race, who is the Author and the Finisher of our faith. If we keep our eyes of faith on Jesus, then we certainly come out in safety, reside in green pastures where we lie down in God's presence and His peace.
Almost two decades ago, I wanted to help out in this Book Ministry at the church. In volunteering I learned a lot about authors of the latter part of the twentieth century. I learned of one specifically who had a publishing company in the Lynnwood, Washington area.
Many Christians today should know of this man and his heart for God. He had many books published, like New Creations Realities, In His Presence, The Two Kinds of Life, Jesus the Healer, The Two Kinds of Righteousness and the Blood Covenant. Now I only list a few of those great books.

In assisting in the book store one day I was asked to go to the Kenyon Publishing Society and get a few books the church had ordered. I got the list, and headed home. It would be late if I tried to stop off at this book place, so I reserved that time for early the next morning.

Unbeknownst to me, I would arise early the next morning to find fog laid over the entire city. And I was to drive to Lynnwood, Washington. The best thing about it was that I did not have to go by the Interstate but could take the back roads and neighborhoods to get to the publisher.
I backed out of our driveway, and fixed my eyes on the school bus in front of me. The further I went south to Lynnwood, the heavier the fog appeared to me. So during this trip that took about 50 minutes that morning, I arrived to get the books for the church. My job done, I needed to find my way through the fog again.
I certainly was challenged on that trip. I had to continually fix my eyes, not only consistently but with an intensity and focus on Jesus. I was intent on getting home, but I was also intent to arrive safely in the presence of my God and Father.
I do not know if Jesus encountered fog. I know He could not have had a car or even a driver's license. The book He knew was the Torah. But for certain, Jesus is the only one who knows the safest and best path to that goal.
We are not to despise the chastening of the Lord. For correction can come and we must embrace it to grow further in His grace. For He had to love us dearly to send His love to us. And when the chastening comes, we should remember that He, the Father will scourge every son whom He receives.

 That scourge is a contact with us. It is with a cord or strap for disciplining another. I certainly recall a couple of real "discipline" moments when I was growing up, and one was soap on the tongue when I spoke what my parents said was wrong at the time.
I learned not to speak those things and I really learned after the third time I did it. Yikes!
But true discipline is: a love and it is a force that flows from a willing heart for the true God. God has given us His Holy Spirit not to fear.  He has given us power, love and a sound mind to prevail in all situations, including FOG! Holding on to fast to the pattern of sound words we are cultivating a relationship with His Holy Spirit. And within that relationship we are propelled into His power for signs and wonders.
Let's remind ourselves of the joy that was in Jesus. And the walk He took to Calvary was a benefit to me and for you. Set your focus on Him.
Wherever you go today, may you arrive at your destination safety and in the presence of Almighty God!

Father, we thank You and declare that everything we put our hands to do will prosper beyond our expectations. We declare that with God our Father, all things are possible. We are thankful for Jesus and our focus is set on Him, the Author and Finisher of our faith. We are truly blessed with a clean, wise and understanding heart. For we are the blessed with self-control and discipline. We are blessed with a great family, good friends, and good health. Today we are blessed with faith, favor and fulfillment. We experience promotion, supernatural strength and Your divine protection. Today we walk out of any foggy areas, and the release from captivity. We walk with compassion in our hearts and with a positive outlook on life. For it is in Jesus, that we live, move and have our being. We are the blessed of the Lord and thankful for Jesus. It is in His name, we have given much thanks!

Absolute Perfection

Was hearing about this "special auction" of yes, the special artwork of some gifted people. Now I had never heard of it (this specific auction house), but I have the information recorded. Not sure why I would keep it, but was amazed at what these "folks" considered as art. One specific thing was a stretched fabric like canvas pulled across tightly and fastened to a rectangle  piece of wood. There was nothing on the "white" sheet of canvas. (looked similar to framing a picture of a good size)
This "art" sold for over 100 hundred thousand dollars. Perfection?

But I am thinking of absolute perfection.
And this is found only in the one True God.
As God the Father:
Matthew5:48
48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
NKJV

God's Work is perfection.

Deuteronomy 32:4
4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice;
Righteous and upright is He.
NKJV

God's Way is perfection.

Psalm 18:30
30 As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
NKJV

2 Samuel 22:31
31 As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
NKJV

God's Will is perfection!

Romans 12:1-2
 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
NKJV

Psalm 19:7-8
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
NKJV

God's Gift's are perfection!

James 1:16-18
16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
NKJV

God's Word is perfection!

1 Samuel 3:21
21 Then the LORD appeared again in Shiloh. For the LORD revealed Himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
NKJV

2 Samuel 22:31
31 As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
NKJV

Jeremiah 15:16
16 Your words were found, and I ate them,
And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart;
For I am called by Your name,
O LORD God of hosts.
NKJV

Psalm 119:140-142
140 Your word is very pure;
Therefore Your servant loves it.
141 I am small and despised,
Yet I do not forget Your precepts.
142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,
And Your law is truth.
NKJV

Jesus Christ....perfection!

Hebrews 2:10
10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings
NKJV

Hebrews 5:9-11
9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, 10 called by God as High Priest "according to the order of Melchizedek,"
NKJV

God, the Creator of the heavens and earth is the immutable God. He is the One Who was before. He brought forth mountains, and even before He formed the earth and world, God is from everlasting to everlasting. (Ps 90:2) He is holy, righteous, sovereign, love, merciful and life to us!
In Revelation 15 and verses 3-4 we find that they still song the song of Moses, the servant of God and the song of the Lamb.

Revelation 15:3-4
3 They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:

"Great and marvelous are Your works,
Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are Your ways,
O King of the saints!
4 Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name?
For You alone are holy.
For all nations shall come and worship before You,
For Your judgments have been manifested."
NKJV

Opening the Bible, we enter the place of the lovely, written by an Author Who is, was and will always be the everlasting God. Through the pages one finds men and women, too, who find that pathway with God and truly find the full meaning and purpose in what works, what His thoughts are to a new people born again into His glory. From Genesis to Revelation we gain God's perspective of life He meant for good and not for evil. And Jesus is coming again soon for His church that is without spot or wrinkle. Being the man or woman baptized into God's church with the Holy Spirit not only dwelling in us but leading us all the way HOME, is it any wonder that we weep in the good times as well as the bad times.
We have no good thing within us, but receiving Jesus as Lord, we gain a HOME. Leaving self-righteousness at the curb, we take on His righteousness, and the gift of great Price. We cannot buy our way in. No one can buy what belongs to God. (Acts 8:17-24)
The Lord is gracious and He chose you and me.
(John 15:16; Luke 19:10)
 Since He is the merchant, the price paid was His life, and the church is the pearl. The church is one body (Ephesians 4:4), composed of those He has sought out through the ages to be a habitation of Christ by His Spirit and who will be His bride at His return.

Let's look up! Let's gather and worship Him. For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations.

Psalm 124:2-8
2 "If it had not been the LORD who was on our side,
When men rose up against us,
3 Then they would have swallowed us alive,
When their wrath was kindled against us;
4 Then the waters would have overwhelmed us,
The stream would have gone over our soul;
5 Then the swollen waters
Would have gone over our soul."

6 Blessed be the LORD,
Who has not given us as prey to their teeth.
7 Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers;
The snare is broken, and we have escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
NKJV

Father, thank You for choosing us. Thank You for Your goodness to us. We have come to the land of the living. We have forsaken our old lives, to live with You and be at Home in Your peace and love. You are our refuge and our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
Hallowed BE Your NAME!

Don't Lose Your Footing

Habakkuk 3:19
19 The LORD God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer's feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills.
NKJV

It is the Lord Who is our strength. Psalm 27 speaks to us this:

Psalm 27:1-3
The LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war should rise against me,
In this I will be confident.
NKJV

In what are we confident? We are confident that HE is our STRENGTH! Whatever is on our pathway, the Lord is our STRENGTH. He is mighty to save and bring us through no matter the circumstance. Wherever we walk, high or low, He will guide us when we know Him as our salvation and our life.

Psalm 28:6-9
6 Blessed be the LORD,
Because He has heard the voice of my supplications!
7 The LORD is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him.

8 The LORD is their strength,
And He is the saving refuge of His anointed.
9 Save Your people,
And bless Your inheritance;
Shepherd them also,
And bear them up forever.
NKJV

Psalm 28 reminds us that the Lord hears our supplications. When our hearts are set on Him, our strength comes. The shield is in place. Hearts fixed and in place, receptive to Him and His speaking, we are the helped. So rejoice you who are broken, who may experience pain today, for God is with you. He will not leave or forsake you, for He will hear the song of rejoicing in your heart.

Praise is a wonderful thing. Voicing our heart and hearing His praise come is welcome, an open gate into His goodness, grace and peace. Songs in our heart beats the enemy and leaves him in his tracks of defeat.

Stand strong in Him today. The battle is known, and He is your strength. He is your place of refuge in those times of trouble, and He will save. He will carry you through. He will lift you out of despair and bring you to peace in Him. Abide and let your words speak His goodness. Reside by His still waters and feed on His faithfulness. In that you will find rest for your soul! Amen!

NEVER a Quickening

Recently I had written on a blog called "Generic" and of that person who lingers long. It is from Proverbs 23:29-32
29 Who has woe? Who has sorrow?
Who has strife? Who has complaints?
Who has needless bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes?
30 Those who linger over wine,
who go to sample bowls of mixed wine.
31 Do not gaze at wine when it is red,
when it sparkles in the cup,
when it goes down smoothly!
32 In the end it bites like a snake
and poisons like a viper. NIV

They, the man or woman know God the Father has quickened them in their "spirit man", yet they  continue to ponder. They move at the speed of slow snail.  They love making decisions, but will take great amounts of time to make a decision for or against something specific!
Their eyes grow bloodshot while they continue to look upon what will benefit them for their good without costing them anything.
In the preparation of this day, I meditated on scripture from that specific blog Generic. (I would read it before reading this one.)

Making decisions is all about being on time whether it is with paying your bills, helping others, and praying for others than our selves. It is about being a part of a group of believer's who really love God and cherish time with Him and with others and obey His every command.
In thinking on this specific area, I wondered about Judas Iscariot. I wondered why he so loved being the money handler!

From that time until now, some men and women have possibly taken up that exact form of godliness Judas displayed. They did it as gaining something for their benefit.  But this gaining as a form of godliness is the very example of imitating Judas Iscariot. How would you know if you are walking with one who loves or has that "zeal" for the real like gold and money?
People's hearts in some respect can hide behind their real endeavors. Like Judas, they maintain one exact cause, and that is their own! Judas followed Jesus for the love of Jesus' money bag and not for Jesus Himself. (He even complained about the expensive perfume poured on Jesus. )John 12:3-8
3 Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

4 But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected, 5 "Why wasn't this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year's wages." 6 He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.

7 "Leave her alone," Jesus replied. "[It was intended] that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial. 8 You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me." NIV

Yes, Jesus said you always have the poor among you and I believe you always have those like Judas with you as well!
In that "hesitation" in making a specific decision, pay attention to the person or person's behavior regarding the money. Is he hesitating to see whether the "thing" done will bring benefit to him?
Will he see fortune come his way in the way of greater influence that benefits himself? Do you see one giving out " of a false eagerness" but that which brings him something. That one thing will answer "his purpose".

Have you ever asked another in leadership to bless another "pastor" of another church, and see them turn a shade of very pale? I mean, their very lips turn from blue to a whiter shade of pale, indeed!
Those with you as "believer's" do as the Lord had commanded. They are ready to lay down their lives and run with what God has asked. Ah, but the one who has that form of godliness lingers. They take time to see how an activity will benefit them. They also speak in the moment of their being "spiritual minded". And in respect of that, they can look a lot like the Pharisee, who thanked God that they are in no way like other men.
Like the hypocrite, they profess to be with the numbered who are saved, yes, with believer's but their hearts are really far from God.

Another look at this person reveals they are generally out of reach to hear the Gospel preached. They may show up, yes inside the building, but not within distance to hear any rebukes from the given word for that day. They do not want to hear it. They believe they are right.

Can you imagine not being moved by the Holy Spirit to do something for someone else? I cannot imagine that. I love being apart of what God is doing, and it is in His love, that I see God's hurting people, God's broken people, and God's servants come to a place to meet God and see their need met, their life changed, and their faith grow even greater. When we truly obey God, we find ourselves at someone's home to pray for the woman who has no home! It presents itself and you find yourself praying for someone you did not know, but God does. In that moment they are touched by God and you find you heard God's voice to obey quickly.  It comes by seeing a "new friend" touched by God too, and you get to have that front row seat giving you view to see his family touched by God in ways that no one else would understand. But God in all His mercy and love seeks to touch man everyday and in many ways. The evident thing is, that only that person in a need, the person who prayed for him/her and God know that love showed up in the miraculous way!

Godliness is allowing the Holy Spirit free reign in our lives! It is the Holy Spirit that is the life and the force of it as we saw in Jesus when resurrected to life by Him the Holy Spirit.

I saw a teaching recently by Spurgeon.  In this sermon he taught on godliness. It was titled "The Form of Godliness Without the Power". Spurgeon said this:" godliness is the power which brings a man to God and binds him to Him; godliness is that which creates repentance towards God and faith in Him; godliness is the result of great change of heart in reference to God and His character."
Judas spent time with Jesus but his heart was not changed.
 So do we really look like God? Do we act like Jesus would act? Do we put aside our stuff and lives and live life through Jesus?

Coming to the end of another year, I reflect on that which the Lord by His Holy Spirit gave me to teach on. In that I reflect also on the relationship we have with God, His Son, and the Holy Spirit. You should not have just one of them in your life, but all 3, the God-head of God in your life. At the end of this year, I am reminded of one teaching the Lord gave me as Jesus the prayer warrior. At this time, I am grateful for Him and for the opportunities that have been given me and my loved ones to live out their lives for God. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life for 2017 and every year after that. I am thankful to give the Word He planned for people to receive this year and that word is to bring change to us all! Amen.
When Jesus came into the "ministry" He cleansed a leper, healed a centurion's servant, healed Peter's mother-in-law, calmed a storm, drove out demons, healed paralytics, caused two blind men to see, and caused another to speak. And this is just an example that is found in Matthew 8-9.

Rely on God. Receive Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to reign. Tremble at His word, and remember He paid a high price for you and for me. Remember to allow the Word of God to search your heart. I like cleaning at times. I like painting a room and decorating with maybe new floral arrangements and a new rug. The room takes on a cleanness and a new light to shine in.
In that respect God's Word will continually clean our hearts. He will make it strong by His word given. As you allow His Word to pass and examine you, you will find what must be removed. If we truly seek that "quiet place", that secret time with Him, we will be led to cry for ourselves and for others. In truth, we are to advance His kingdom and a good cry benefits everyone. We are to pray and seek Him while He may be found. We are to reside in holiness, and that holy life is one that has "the power" of the Holy Spirit. And Trust Him to know what is best for you! In truth He is a benefit to all who believe. Thank God I am not where I was forty years ago! I am living in heaven on earth.

 But for the " Judas' " , well they live in themselves, and void of power. They rely on themselves and their thoughts to gain some momentum, but it will be short-lived.
In the Spirit of God we have power and He can work in us and through us. And it will be that something that pleases God. In His momentum, people are saved, healed, made whole, and sent to tell others about it.
God, the Holy Spirit always represents power and if you are in a service and you leave the way you came in to that service, then check your heart or leave quickly!
The apostle or/and the prophet within that group should have heaven come for every service. The apostle and/or prophet will touch heaven and the result is always PEACE. It is heaven's touch to lead and influence. It is allowing the Holy Spirit His way to bring God's agenda and not man's to the service in the here and now! There is always joy in the Holy Spirit. It is not merely a service but a place where God meets man and demonstrates His power to heal and make whole. The prophet will apprehend the promises of God. He or she will declare them aloud. They speak often of God's return, will share their testimonies they experienced and with these two, an infusion is produced making others sensitive toward Heaven's activities and of God's plan. These two look into heaven and they see what God wants on earth.

Let's allow the quickening of God the Holy Spirit. Let's allow life to permeate everything we touch and do for His kingdom. May you be quickened and enlightened on what part you play in this adventure. And remember He is returning for His Bride without wrinkle or spot. Let's go together and expect His power to come for all to receive the benefits of a good and faithful God! Amen.

Generic!?!

Had a conversation recently that captured my attention. It was conveyed to me that "leaders" from  a church were choosing not to give people the Holy Spirit.
It was in their estimation the people were not ready for the supernatural!
After I heard this, I was appalled.
So who decides who hears of the Holy Spirit and those who do not? For Jesus certainly was raised from the dead and the Holy Spirit was the force and the life. Amen!

For God said in the beginning, Genesis 1:1-5...stated the Holy Spirit was hovering over the face of the deep.
1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
NKJV

Then we were given this: John 1:1-5
1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
NKJV

Yes, Jesus is, was, and is to come the Word and He was in the beginning as well!
That which is of God, is the kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of God and it is spiritual. So what are these "leaders" breathing out. Is it just another religion, without life?  It is certain to not have the Holy Spirit.
Some people genuinely look for an outward method to reach a body of believer's. Without the Spirit of God one will dwell in spiritual death.
In remembering a long ago teaching by Spurgeon, in "The Form of Godliness Without the Power " sermon stated" the raw material of a devil is an angel bereft of holiness." He went on to state that the inward life must be touched by God or else you have a decay into a foul thing.

But seriously in this case, who decides what a people should be taught?
Jesus said this:

John 14:23-31
23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.

25 "These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 You have heard Me say to you, 'I am going away and coming back to you.' If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, 'I am going to the Father,' for My Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe. 30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. 31 But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here.   NKJV

He said: "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."

Are you getting power infused into you each Saturday or Sunday of your church meeting or you going home, dry, empty, and depressed?

So it is important to know the Holy Spirit and know He will speak what the Father has given through Jesus our Redeemer!
What good is "my word or any man's word" when it is God's Word that prevails! What good is that praise and worship when it is just "you or just any man/woman singing a song" without the Holy Spirit giving the worship. Now in the "secret place" at home that is wonderful. What great opportunities to give God all our time, our effort to worship that pleases Him. But to the one who shows up on the weekend to give a Generic word for a group of people is not life for anyone. God's Word is to be a now Word in the now moment of time. It is the power of the Holy Spirit that brings us that which is life to help us, heal us, make us whole!
Will the word spoken be of power of the Holy Spirit? Will that which is spoken really bring a strength to us for the day of sickness or in the hour of a possible death? Are we looking at wells without so much as a drop of water in them?
In the relating of God and of Jesus the Redeemer, is the word given that brings a drop of comfort for the weary and the heavy-laden. Or is it possible, some just go the way, "to look good", sing what they love to sing and they look good singing, and then bring a word but it lacks the life of God in it?

Anyone carrying a false ministry in the guise of true godliness will fail. I am thinking of Ehud!
For it is true false men will do serious injury to a true godliness.

Judges 3:12-4:3
12 Once again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD, and because they did this evil the LORD gave Eglon king of Moab power over Israel. 13 Getting the Ammonites and Amalekites to join him, Eglon came and attacked Israel, and they took possession of the City of Palms.  14 The Israelites were subject to Eglon king of Moab for eighteen years.
15 Again the Israelites cried out to the LORD, and he gave them a deliverer-Ehud, a left-handed man, the son of Gera the Benjamite. The Israelites sent him with tribute to Eglon king of Moab. 16 Now Ehud had made a double-edged sword about a foot and a half long, which he strapped to his right thigh under his clothing. 17 He presented the tribute to Eglon king of Moab, who was a very fat man. 18 After Ehud had presented the tribute, he sent on their way the men who had carried it. 19 At the idols near Gilgal he himself turned back and said, "I have a secret message for you, O king."
The king said, "Quiet!" And all his attendants left him.
20 Ehud then approached him while he was sitting alone in the upper room of his summer palace and said, "I have a message from God for you." As the king rose from his seat, 21 Ehud reached with his left hand, drew the sword from his right thigh and plunged it into the king's belly. 22 Even the handle sank in after the blade, which came out his back. Ehud did not pull the sword out, and the fat closed in over it. 23 Then Ehud went out to the porch; he shut the doors of the upper room behind him and locked them.
24 After he had gone, the servants came and found the doors of the upper room locked. They said, "He must be relieving himself in the inner room of the house." 25 They waited to the point of embarrassment, but when he did not open the doors of the room, they took a key and unlocked them. There they saw their lord fallen to the floor, dead.
26 While they waited, Ehud got away. He passed by the idols and escaped to Seirah. 27 When he arrived there, he blew a trumpet in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went down with him from the hills, with him leading them.
28 "Follow me," he ordered, "for the LORD has given Moab, your enemy, into your hands." So they followed him down and, taking possession of the fords of the Jordan that led to Moab, they allowed no one to cross over. 29 At that time they struck down about ten thousand Moabites, all vigorous and strong; not a man escaped. 30 That day Moab was made subject to Israel, and the land had peace for eighty years.
31 After Ehud came Shamgar son of Anath, who struck down six hundred Philistines with an oxgoad. He too saved Israel.

Judges 4 ..............4:1 After Ehud died, the Israelites once again did evil in the eyes of the LORD. 2 So the LORD sold them into the hands of Jabin, a king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor. The commander of his army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth Haggoyim. 3 Because he had nine hundred iron chariots and had cruelly oppressed the Israelites for twenty years, they cried to the LORD for help. NIV

You can see from this passage, that Ehud, had come with a pretended message from God in verse 20 of Judges 3! Yes, this Ehud came with a message he said that was from God.
So too, men and women within those walls of a church can come and with their dagger sharpened on both edges, they strike vital godliness in its very heart. Much damage will be done to the body of believer's. Yes, this type of godliness is certainly devoid of power. It will destroy. It will bring something to nothing.

Remember we have looked at the Fig Tree in the previous blogs of this year. We have looked at it and found out why it had no fruit on it. And when passing by that fig tree, which was so early with its leaves but so empty of fruit, He saw the likeness of the one who is the vainglorious. Oh, they profess it, but they truly lack the real power.  Looks good on the outside, but provides no real fruit, it is the fruitless, and  it will be carried into eternity which most likely will not be with God.

Seek to pray to enter the place God has called you to in worship with others. It will be heaven on earth. You will know the Holy Spirit is alive in that place. You will be revived, strengthened and given an armory of words to fight the enemy. You will stand tall in the Word of God and will out wit the enemy on every turn. You can stand knowing God is with you. But if you enter a place and there is no fruit of the Holy Spirit, there is no wind of His gentleness to blow across any chaos in you and will not line up into God's peace and unity, then leave that place. For the benefits of God are good, and He is faithful to stay with us and not forsake us. He will lead us to green pastures, led by still waters, and be consumed in His peace for His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations. Don't settle for generic when you can have His power! Amen.

In the days ahead  watch for"Never a Quickening" is published in this blog. It will cover in more detail of the "pretender", one who is long on lingering but not the waiting on God. He looks for his own benefits in his giving. (What will I get for my giving? What benefits me when I help or give another is what he or she asks themselves) Yikes!
