Eternal Value

That eternal value is seeing the future with God. It is viewing the heaven to come. In Ephesians 4:23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you pt on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. A new creation is possible for we find our identification with Him by faith.

Revelation 22:16 " I Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.

The True Acknowledges Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation---right relationship with God.  2 Corinthians  4: 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:17-19 For He received from God the Father honor & glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.” 18 we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. 19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns & the morning star rises in your hearts.

1.   Jesus brought light to reveal error when darkness had appeared through sin

2.   The word confirmed for salvation, healing & deliverance…to live for God by faith in obedience to Him: John 14:6 NKJV 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth & the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. It is the walk of faith in Him!   Having Jesus, is sinning no more

Has the morning star risen in our hearts? Is the light shining to lead us on to eternity? Psalm 37: 1-6  NKJV Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.  3 Trust in the LORD, and do good;   4 Dwell in the land; and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.  5  Commit your way to the LORDS, Trust also in Him, and  6   He shall bring forth you righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

Heart is your intellect, awareness, that inner person....this encompasses both the physical and spiritual. It is to see Jesus speak God's words for life to us.  In the kingdom of God is eternal. It is Jesus leading us home. It is not for you or me to dwell on clouds or float around forever. It is finding our home with Him as He leads us by His example.

Righteousness is what is right with God: " My tongue shall speak of Your word, For all Your commandments are righteousness" (Psalm 119:172). It is the cultivation of the correct moral principles within ourselves. Again the heart of man is involved.  As a nation we should cultivate morality to produce spiritual and social growth. But alas that has nor occurred in many years. Knowing that righteousness is considered as morality of man, it is knowing it is also that foundation of justice. Justice is correct moral practice, the practical application of morality.

Jesus came to bring the Kingdom of God and Israel was not cultivating God's commandments. They were far from moral standards. They lived lives incompatible with knowing the Word of God. It is what we see today in many places of this nation. There is no justice! Just look at the graffiti on city walls. Or have you seen mattresses thrown on the side of highways. We just saw yesterday that someone decided to throw their trash by the roadway. That is not good for man nor animal living in that area.

Or what about being the considerate driver on the roadways? It is not passing you on a curve where view is obstructed. It is not passing using that extra lane intended for traffic coming to meet you.

God can see. He checks our hearts indeed. And that social injustice is noted when exploiting the poor. We have seen in this nation the encouragement toward addictions, and that of teaching small children about sexuality. Where is the light of the Lord when there is that heart of darkness?

Our hearts must be set toward the thing of the Lord. Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. The identity we should adhere to is that of spiritual things with Christ by death to the past and the empowerment for this present day as by resurrection of Jesus.

Jesus brought the Kingdom of God and the Word increased. But those who like their positions and ways of doing religion proved fatal for Jesus. But Resurrection proved God's power indeed. Even in the book of Acts you can find Stephen full of the Holy Spirit speaking wisdom of God and miracles occurring. Still there were those in chapter 6 to set up false witnesses, as they said Stephen spoke blasphemous words against their holy place and the law. Yet Stephen had the face of an angel. He kept to the word of God given in chapter 7. He spoke truth and their hearts were cut through by that truth. They took him out and stoned him. And while the stoning took place, He full of the Holy Spirit spoke, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."    They closed their ears and stoned a man o faith.

Is culture deciding your fate? Are you  really a man after God or man after a culture style of dressing in costumes of dogs, cats, fish, butterflies or whales? They had a parade for that on east coast just the last couple of weeks. Jesus is the Morning Star leading us on. We move onto victory and see miracles done. Just ask me, I know for I am walking again, and getting stronger every day.

God is good, His mercy is everlasting. Jesus has gone to prepared a place for you and I. ( John 14:2) Verse 6 states, :"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

We must have one heart with Jesus to go home with Him!  To face the darkness of this nation, we must remain in Jesus. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. ( Ephesians 6:10) Staying with the Lord, repenting of any lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes or pride of life.

As Paul says, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory" (2 Corinthians 4:17).

Where Our Spirit Fails, God Never Fails

Voice of Prayer
Psalm 143:7-10  Amplified Bible 7 Answer me speedily, O Lord, for my spirit fails; hide not Your face from me, lest I become like those who go down into the pit ( the grave). 8 Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning for on You do I lean and in You do I trust, Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift my inner self to you. 9 Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies; I flee to You to hide me. 10 Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; let Your good Spirit lead me into a level country and into the land of uprightness.

Answer me speedily!
Answer me yesterday Lord.....sound familiar. Gee God, I needed the answer yesterday. For many us, we need the answer yesterday to whatever may be occurring today. But if we had been on guard over our walk with Him, we would have known when to spend that extra time praying, and less talking or more time reading His word about something specific instead of looking for the answer from another mouth other than God's mouth.

We are to live by the Bread that comes from heaven. It is life -giving, power packed with all we need and it keeps us safe in God's presence.
That self-gratification thing though can get us into trouble. It takes us places that are terribly unsafe, reckless and where our spirit can fail within us.
David said this in Psalm 143 and reading from verses 1 and 2: Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, and in Your righteousness. 2 And enter not into judgment with Your servant for in Your sight no man living is [in himself] righteous or justified.

David has prayed. When we get to verses 7-10, we see him praying for his deliverance and the quickening of the Holy Spirit in his life.
David prayed for the agreeable in God. Though really bad things were occurring, still David held on to his convictions that God is good. He was seeking the Spirit of God that would reveal the prudent, the reliable and yes the most wise way to walk on the right path.

There will always be situations in our lives: some mistakes made by us and some made by those who may touch our lives in some way. Still the prayer to God is made for the guidance when trouble is not only prevailing but should be implemented well before something or someone "comes to disturb the peace".

It is holding on to God's peace within His presence, we keep to the level country. Anything outside of God is then revealed that is where the dangers and false speaking lie.

But when we get to verses 11- 12 of Psalm 143 we find this: 11 Save my life, O Lord, for Your name's sake; in Your righteousness, bring my life out of trouble and free me from distress. 12 And in your mercy and loving-kindness, cut off my enemies and destroy all those who afflict my inner self, for I am Your servant.

What David is praying for here is to be helped in his daily devotions to God. Quicken by the Spirit of God is what David desired most. Though so many things were incensed against him, still his thoughts were on keeping his heart open to hearing and receiving God's truth.

No one is exempt from trouble of this world, but when we keep our focus we prevail. Where our spirit seems to fail, we must be strengthened in the word of God and know that He never fails.

I like Psalm 27:13-14 in the Amplified Bible. It states this: 13 [What would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living! 14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brace and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.

Seeing God's goodness is remaining in Him. It is seeing Him on a daily basis and not once a week for an hour. If we truly are the sons of God, we will glory in His might and strength. If we truly are His sons we will know His voice when He speaks. We will know when He has come to our defense when it is really needed and not when we just whine about something.
He knows us, He knows what we are about. He knows our failings and our triumphs, but they fail in comparison to His great love and glory. Our hearts are to be filled with all that He is from His word. Anything less is the grave!

Keep your peace, gain your strength and let your heart become the stout and the enduring. Make your stand with God and see His glory fill your life. Amen.

With Songs of Deliverance

In this day and age, trouble seems to befall young and old alike. Trouble seems to surround on every side. You can read the headlines or watch news on T.V. and hear of failing businesses, and a failing economy. At church or work you can hear of someone's failing health, failing ministry, or failing marriage. Yet in all this, our God has promised to deliver us out of all the overwhelming problems that plague the world today!

Psalm 32:7 "You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me about with songs of deliverance."

If we truly desire God to be the God of our trouble, then He must be the God of our hearts. God will honor those who honor Him. God will move across a continent of believer's for the one on bent knee who is shedding tears for the goodness of God and not because of the trouble he has gotten himself into by wrong choices. God Himself will move heaven and earth to get to the one who speaks out of his trouble to praise the One true God!

In recent days, I was asked to gather prayer people together to pray for the Pastors of our church. It was in accordance with these pastors themselves that I go forward with it and seek those who would willingly go above and beyond to pray. One young man, who will at this time remain nameless, but God knows who he is, replied by text. What a refreshing answer, what a zest of life he added in his response. Not only did he agree to what the email said of praying for our pastors, but was willing to add the emphasis that was placed in the email that I had sent for them to pray.

When someone is going through tribulation and one continual trial after another trial, as those we are sent to pray for,  then it has to be addressed. If we are praying, and the answer has not come, then we must join forces as a team, and like this young man, say, " yes, Lord, to all that is mentioned" , "I will do it!"

I saw the Lord heal this young man who had shingles on his face and over the eye area months ago. The Lord healed him and the Lord has continued to answer he and his wife's prayers as they continue to seek the face of God!

In what I have been witness to in the last several hours, is that I have seen someone who loves God is willing to go even further for God.
In the second part of verse 7, it speaks that it is the Lord who surrounds us with songs of deliverance.

Are we singing songs of deliverance?

I believe that those who stand strong for the Lord will rally together for the cause and not because they have to please man. When God gives a mandate for prayer, then we as believer's should be willing to rally as a team and do it!

If our focus is on the trouble, then the emotional havoc will be dominating our lives. If we meditate on the warfare  instead of the victory, then faith is not working! The focus in that situation is on the enemy and not the Comforter who was sent for our benefit. That young man was a wonderful doorway into the presence of God and his expectancy came in his righteousness and joy. In few words, he declared his joy to do what the Lord asked him to do!

Now is the time to focus on the God of trouble. With God in our hearts, our focus will be on pleasing Him and not looking at what the enemy may be throwing at us today. Whatever you and I focus on today determines our freedom or our stumbling block.
There should be a song in our heart much like David wrote about. Stand in faith, sing and rejoice for God is our deliverer.  So if trouble shows up, and danger is imminent, keep your thought life on the Word of truth. Be determined to say No to defeat and despair! Climb out of the hole you dug, shake off the dust, smooth your hair and continue your walk with the Lord.
Declare today:

" Lord, You are my hiding place, it is You Who preserves me from trouble and today as You send your angelic forces, I sing for joy for My Deliverer has come to rescue me from trouble! These are my songs of deliverance!

Father, today You have rallied your prayer warriors. You have called us to pray for those who have continual trial after trial and no relief. We stand believing that YOU are the deliverer from trouble. For those who need our prayers, may we rise up in power of the Holy Ghost, to see Your glory in the lives of those we called to pray for and see the manifestation of answered prayer. Like this young man today, may we be the "open door" to God's presence and speak with zest the power of the Word of truth.
Father, in Jesus' name, "You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me about with songs of deliverance."
We thank You for the lives that are changed today. We expect the weary to rise in rest and peace of God. We expect the sorrowful to be made glad. We expect the broken-hearts to be mended and made whole. You are the God Who hears and answers..........may our response be like this young man today...........may we always be open to Your direction and Your correction and stand surrounded by songs of deliverance. Amen.
