WE are NOT Cheering from the Sidelines

We are not to be cheering from the sidelines. We are to participate in this movement of God! Are you apart of it?

WE magnify the name of Jesus above all other names: Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

We give thanks for the name of Jesus, the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of those in heaven and of those on earth and those under the earth. It is every tongue to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

We give thanks for the salvation of God. Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and salvation, whom shall I fear, the LORD is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid.

We give thanks for our home and community. We declare it the dwelling of God’s presence. Psalm 89:15-17 NKJV 15 Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD in the light of Your countenance. 16 In Your name they rejoice all day long, & in Your righteousness they are exalted. 17 For You are the glory of their strength, and in Your favor our horn (strength ) is exalted.

We give thanks for His presence disarms the enemy: Psalm 31:19-21NKJV 19  O, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which YOU have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men! 20 You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion (shelter) from the strife of tongues. (Also Exodus 33:14)

We give thanks for Your presence prevents deception or falsehood from taking hold:  Psalm 101:7 He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; He who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.

We invite the fear of the Lord to rest upon our community: Psalm 34:7 The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him. Psalm 27:1-5 NKJV The LORD is my light and salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked came against me to eat (devour) up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. 3 Though an army may encamp against me my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. 4 One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple 5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set my upon a rock.

We give thanks that there is Unity among believers in Jesus:Holy Father, protect them by the power of Your name, the name You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one." (John 17:11)

We give thanks that we are drawn together with a oneness of spirit: Ephesians 4:16 …from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Galatians 3:26-28  NKJV  26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

We give thanks for a Unified Voice for the Northwest: (or whatever region you might live)Romans 15:5-6 NKJV Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We give thanks we are drawn together in the power of the a covenant keeping community: Acts 18:9-10 NKJV 9 Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak and do not keep silent; 10 “for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.”

We give thanks that disarmament of the enemy’s plan to cause harm or injury to people or property to be stopped in the name of Jesus now! 2 Chronicles 20:15 …”Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. Deuteronomy 31: 6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave your nor forsake you.

We give thanks declaring God’s righteous boundaries around the cities and town we live ( naming your city or town here____________)Psalm 31:20 You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion (shelter) from the strife of tongues. Jeremiah 5:22  NKJV Do you not fear Me? Says the LORD, will you not tremble at My presence, who have placed the sand as the bound of the sea, by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass beyond it? And though its waves toss to and fro, yet they cannot pass over it.

We are NOT canceled but we do cancel threats of harm or property damage that belongs to God’s sons and daughters: Luke 4:28-30 NKJV So all those in the synagogue , when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, 29 and rose up and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff. 30 Then passing through the midst of them, He went His way.

We Believe and Give thanks that the communications of the enemy is confused and cancelled: Jeremiah 20: 11-12 But the LORD is with me as a mighty, awesome One. Therefore my persecutors will stumble and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten. 12 But , O LORD of hosts, You who test the righteous, and see the mind and heart, let me see Your vengeance on them; for I have pleaded my cause before You. Also Psalm 55:9-10

We give thanks The Light of the Lord is truth that dispels the darkness of the enemy and exposes his lies; John 1:4-5 In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not won over it.”

We Expect and believe for those who oppose God’s heart and ways would encounter Jesus: Acts 8:12-13 NKJV 12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized. 13 Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continue with Philip and was amazed seeing the miracles and signs which were done.

We give thanks for God’s blessings and protection over transportation and communication lines:  "The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven." (Deuteronomy 28:7)

We give thanks for protection over the city streets, the rural roadways and walkways: Psalm 121:8 The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. Proverbs 10:9 He who walks with integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will become known.

We bless the roadways and highways with the holiness of God: Isaiah 35:8-10 A highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over, it but it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool shall not go astray. They are consecrated unto the Lord in bringing the wandering souls back to Him. Jeremiah 50:5:  They shall ask the way to Zion, with their faces toward it, saying, ‘Come and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that will not be forgotten.’

We give thanks that the Word of God and the message of the Cross to be shared with power: Luke 21, 15, 17-19"For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict...Everyone will hate you because of Me. But not a hair of your head will perish. Stand firm, and you will win life."

For where Bibles have been burned, may the angels of the Lord bring in even more Bibles. We expect God’s Word and anointing of the Holy Spirit to disarm the adversary in the communities and cities where this is being done this day in Jesus’ name:  Acts 4:29-31 NKJV  Now Lord look on their threats and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they ( you and me) may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the word of God with boldness. (also Philippians 1:14).

We give thanks the Spirit of Truth would be proclaimed and heard: John 16:13-14).

However when He the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth for He will not speak on His own authority but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

WE Declare the favor of God on those who preach and teach the Word of God:(Acts 17:16-17, 32). 16 Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols. 17 Therefore he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and with the Gentile worshipers, and in the marketplace daily with those who happened to be there. 32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked, while others said, “We will hear you again on this matter.

Thank Father for Your delivering power in defeating all YOUR enemies: 1 John 4:4 NKJV "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world." It is in Jesus’ name we have prayed. Amen

Timing is everything in the kingdom of God! We are not the perfect man, yet God can use us in this time of Chaos! What is your appointment in this of need for His kingdom? Where will you meet destiny face to face like Moses did? In thinking of Moses being called out  from a wilderness area, we see a man who knew the ways of Pharaoh, but had learned a lot from living in a region where sheep were the priority! You might have some city skills and street smart, but God requires one who has a heart for His people. And in those He created, He sent a Savior, Christ the Lord!

Much speaking is required and miracles can be performed, but still the heart has to be one with God and His plan. I give thanks for you right now where you are reading this. I give thanks to the Father that a response of "yes" is coming from your heart to what in His kingdom for His glory! I call you useful vessel in the hands of God. I thank Him that you hear and obey quickly His instructions for this hour. If you do not go, then who? Who will God send instead of you?

Come from the tomb, come forth and live for God. Come out of hiding, the Lord has a plan for you. Will you expect greater things from Him? Be healed and restored this hour. Come and see the new that lies ahead! May you be like Mary the mother of Jesus who said 'yes' with no holding back. May it be unto you according to what God has given in instruction to you in the night seasons! May you be like Ruth and the example of faithfulness. May you be a like Deborah who judged in truth and righteousness. May you carry the song of love in your heart like David did! Where you are weak, the Lord is strong. He will cause you to rise above circumstances for His glory. Allow the Holy Spirit to flush out what must be removed from your heart and mind. Abhor what God abhors, and cling to what is good. (Romans 12:9)

Demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit in you. SEE your heart set on fire for the Father's will on earth as it is in heaven. Stand against sin and speak of its destruction to man. To do less is giving to no thought for another. We are not cheering from the sidelines, we are prioritized for Jesus, who is the same yesterday, today and forever. We choose to take territory for Him in His name. We are a movement of God, that church without walls, where we, the individual is dedicated to God our Father, humbled to see His kingdom come......

Proven

Psalm 18:30 NKJV As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. 31 For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? 32 It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. 33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, and sets me on my high places. 34 He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

From this David reveals on the day of his deliverance from the hand of King Saul and other enemies! In the very first verse of Psalm 18, he sings I will love You, O LORD my strength.
God's love will prove out every time we call on Him. Have we called on Him today? Have we called out His name in the valley of Achor, that valley of trouble?
Psalm 119:140 Your word is very pure; therefore You servant loves it.

The servant loves God's word for it has been proven, yes, has been tested time and time again and He has proven faithful in His love toward us. Psalm 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. David called on God, and time after time, God answered and in many ways!

In that walk of faith, we give opportunity to trust that God will fulfill His Word. It is that which will put trust in His character and believe what He has given through that very word. David wrote on the character of God in Psalm 23.

Psalm 23:4………..4 Yea, though I walk through the valley
 of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.  NKJV

Jesus spoke on the mercy of God: Luke 6::35-36……...35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your
reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High.
For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. 36 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

And of this is written of His truth: Psalm 119:160…….160 The entirety of
Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.

NKJV

Trust is a word that in God, about God and through God, we are to be deliberate in that Trust in His thoughts and ways: Mark 16:17-18   NKJV  17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

This account is only given in the book of Mark!  We know that there are verses that point to the commission of the apostles: as in Matthew 28: 16-20 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20”teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen." (  also found Luke 24:36-49)

But Mark gives this: “signs will follow those who believe.” Now some say this means that Christians can handle snakes, but seriously the meaning has to do with trust that Christians are protected if they are bitten. Remember a snake had bit Paul while he was on the island of Malta. No he was not on a “cruise ship” but on a ship that fell apart in rough seas when those in authority did not pay attention to his warnings given by the Holy Spirit to stay put. They proceeded into seas that would wreak havoc when stirred up by a really bad storm with attitude. With this in mind, many things played a role in Paul getting to the island of Malta, as the captain who chose go when even the time of year was contrary to a yes answer. Still it is in those situations that money speaks louder than words!

Acts 28:1-6 Now when they had escaped, they then found out that the island was called Malta. 2 And the natives showed us unusual kindness; for they kindled a fire and made us all welcome, because of the rain that was falling and because of the cold. 3 But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand. 4 So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “No doubt this man is a  murderer whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live.  5 But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm. 6 However, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no harm come to him,  they changed their minds and said that he was a god.

Luke the physician wrote in Luke 10:17-20 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” 18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19”Behold, I give you that authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

He also recorded this in Acts 5:12-13... And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people." And they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

Some speculate that this was just for the apostles, but again Mark 16 and verse 17 speaks, "these signs will follow those who believe." Does not say those who are just apostles, those who where just alive at that time, but those even now who believe!

Again looking at Luke 10:17-20 was Jesus pointing to "protection". We are to trust Him even as simply spoken. We are not to rejoice that we have the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and the power of the enemy (Satan) but we rejoice that our names are in heaven. We are a part of God's family. What He has promised, He provides. Anything we do on earth is either done by our own hand or God's power flowing through us. Either our belief will be in Him or in ourselves. We are either born again to live in His kingdom which has come or we are living as the old man in sin and without God!

In understanding that faith is a spiritual walk we walk by faith and not by sight. Our trust is in God's thoughts and God's ways which are higher than our own. (Isaiah 55:8-13)
So we must have a firm conviction in acknowledging God’s truth. We admit His words where we display our faith in them and where faith is alive.. John 3:3  NKJV  Jesus answered & said to him, “ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”  John 3:5 NKJV Jesus answered, “most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water & the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

It is also a firm surrender to Him where conduct appears under His leadership: Romans 10:8-10  Amp Bible.. 8 But what does it say? The Word (God’s Message in Christ) is near you, on your lips & in your heart; that is, the Word ( the message, the basis & object of faith which we preach. 9 Because if you acknowledge & confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord & in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, & rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in,& relies on Christ) & so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God) & with the mouth he confesses (declares openly & speaks out freely his faith) & confirms[his] salvation.

From Paul assisting those people of Malta, still a snake decided to bite. But Paul by his faith was lighting the way into that which would bring glory to God. For He proved to Paul that He was always with him. Are we lighting the way that proves we know God is the true and the faithful ONE?

God’s kingdom authority conflicts with the worlds system of authority :Luke 22:24-27  Amp Bible 24 Now an eager contention arose among them [as to] which of them was considered & reputed to be the greatest. 25 But Jesus said to them, the kings of the Gentiles are deified by them & exercise lordship [ruling as emperor-gods] over them; & those in authority over them are called benefactors & well-doers. 26 But this is not to be so with you, on the contrary, let him who is the greatest among you become like the youngest, & him who is the chief & leader like one who serves. 27 For who is the greater, the one who reclines at the table ( the master), or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But I am in your midst as ONE Who serves. See also Mark 10:35-37; Matthew 20:20-28

These men were eager to be a “somebody”. They wanted significance. Yet,  even within this group & that which Jesus spoke, whether jobs, sports or even in schools and academies & even in possessions, still our identity is not in the accomplishments or things, but in Jesus, He whom we serve is in our midst! The greatest is the one who resides with Christ, settled in Him & relying on His sacrifice. We are not to get our identity in the position, the things we do or things we have, we are to serve Him from the identity He has given us.
We will either be wrapped up in His grace or wrapped up in something of the world. May our love resound not because that which we do but that which is wrapped up in the mercy of God that appeared as grace to people who required life, who required a Savior and may we show our love to Him this day and every day. Our names are written in heaven and we are thankful to participate in His kingdom that has come.
There is a new virus out now called the coronavirus! But it has nothing on Jesus, for all things are under His feet. He is authority and He granted us authority to walk as He walked. Build your faith, stand firm and know that our faith is spiritual, it represents a trust in Almighty God who made heaven and earth. Stand in belief that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. If God be for us, then who can be against us? Amen!

To Become All God Destined

Voice of Prayer
Psalm 1: 1-3  Amplified Bible  1 Blessed (Happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purpose], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest], where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. 2 But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].

Have meditated on this and was thinking on it today! Now it gives some guidance in that the blessed, yet the fortunate and prosperous man is the one who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly.
Now it goes on to say that we are not to follow the advice of the ungodly, not stand submissive to the ungodly's way of thinking and doing. We are told that standing in the paths of sinners we are not to be submissive to them or nor inactive.........that is we should just be raising the Word of God.

Was working on a teaching for this week and was reading in 3 John 3 and it states: For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in truth.
Now that walk of faith is active, always steadfast enduring to the end. And it appears as faithfulness to the Gospel. It does not appear faithful to nonsense but does appear as light to guide others out of darkness.

We were those who had to be rehabilitated to the truth of God. We were those who at one time lived in the world, acted as the world........that which leans toward living in pretense, the dishonesty that can strain any relationship.
Just try to have a relationship with someone who has one foot in God's kingdom and one in the world! Walking in the light reveals who we really are. Within that truth we also find the weaknesses present in us. But the Holy Spirit is available! He is available and came to comfort when we received Jesus as Lord of our lives!

In the love of God and His direction, others should know us clearly. That is we imitate God and not the world. We put on our clothes like others, and we treat others like we desire to be treated. It is the Holy Spirit that can keep us from stumbling and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. (Jude 24)
If we are "sad sack" then we are far from the joy we should be exhibiting. Stay away from those who consider themselves the "sensual" that is they consider themselves more spiritual than you. They operate out of the world and that has no life in it.
But that which is of God brings light to the weaknesses and helps us see clearly to walk in truth, knowing where obstacles might be hidden and see them either be dissolved before us or see them become that nonexistent thing!
Isaiah 41:11-13 NKJV 11 "Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish. 12 You shall seek them and not find them----Those who contended with you, Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing. 13 For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'

Again, we must know we have the Holy Spirit today and every day.
In being effective, we must pray. Prayer has power over everything. Although you might find some people who think prayer is a waste of time, still the Bible declares: ""the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." (James 5:16)
To reaching people who do not know Jesus, we must pray. And it starts with us; it starts with you and with me. We are to know that fullness of joy in John 16:23-24, to know the peace of God in Philippians 4:6-8, and freedom from anxiety in 1 Peter 5:7.

In prayer, our spiritual reunion in Christ Jesus liberates us to freedom in the Holy Spirit. We ask in His Name the things we desire for our families and for this nation: "that once again it will be one nation under God". We pray believing we receive that our joy is that joy of the Lord that is our strength.
We pray from Philippians 4:6-8 that we be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. That as we cast our day upon Him, He guides us through it. We loose the Holy Spirit into every circumstance and through the love of God we move through without worry or distractions.

In the love of God we will move through each day telling others of the goodness of God, the Son of His love that died in our place and that we live now unto God and to see His glory revealed. If not us, then who, and if not now, then when? For truly people are dying of unthinkable things today: from many strains of the flu, to dying in homelessness, to dying without God in many pressures and forces of the enemy. Yet we have protection dwelling in that secret place and having that hedge of protection we should be willing and without doubt to make a difference to not only pray for others but to tell them of Jesus.
That tree from Psalm 1 surely needs some tending and to the regard of it producing fruit, may it be that which God intended for us to produce for His purpose.

3 And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].
May we mature in the Lord and become all that He destined for us to become. Amen!

Is that SMOKE?

Voice of Prayer: September 6, 2017
I really have no liking for the smell of smoke. And I care less for that which causes smoke. In the last 14+ days we have seen smoke in this region of the northwest. Much had been from fires in the region of Oregon, both in the mid-section of that state and also further south on their state line border with California. The air quality at times is questionable, that it has been ranging to good air quality to really bad quality. I understand that if it is of the 400 it is essentially going to kill! Now that of course is warning to those who keep their oxygen at close hand, who have a physician on call and has the needed meds to get through such a horrendous time or ordeal. Yet, we have continued to see people work outside in such conditions. We saw a man working on building his home in the White Salmon area that first week of September.

When it is still considered summer and the days really warm, it is hard to stay inside. There is the thought of wanting to go sit outside, maybe walk a mile or two or just take a tour around the yard at the back of the house just to enjoy the day!
Of recent days, we had to leave our home due to mischief of those desiring to use fireworks in the area of a dry forest. While being let go with fire, these fireworks started with a loud sound like waters roaring..a sound of rushing rampantly.....and the consuming started. Although this occurred on the Oregon side, still the Washington side got a front row in the viewing.

We must be so totally consumed with God that no other consuming force should take His place; not to our homes, and not to our community and to that which God is doing in our lives. We must be willing to pray for our neighbors, both near and far! And yes, we should pray for them to seek the wisdom of God to make decisions.

While staying with our daughter and family while the evacuation had occurred, we continued to pray and lift up those fighting the forest fires, those maintaining those lines and for those who rescued the animals of those being evacuated from several areas of this region.
We saw horses, yes, and goats, too plus a few pigs being sent out of harms way.

All we do within our own sphere will ultimately affect another in our daily walk. Whether here within the house, within the grocery market, out on the highway or even playing in the river, someone else can be affected by what mischief or other thing devised against another.

Prayer is so important to open the door to God our Father and allow Him to show each of us how He truly cares for us. Prayer involves our humbling ourselves that we cannot do with out Him. It is always a good thing to be thankful for the good we see in our lives

From labor day of September 4 and left our home in the hands of the Mighty God, we returned about 12:30 pm Thursday the 7th to find it all snug and safe just like He had shown me early Monday morning when I had risen from a long nights rest! Yes, the fire had begun on that Saturday around 4 pm and we happen to be on I-84 when we saw the vehicle pulled over by the police. We had been about 35 miles west of that sight and saw this spiraling smoke going towards the sky.
Yes, something was going on!

Later we saw on the news and started to hear who started it! At this point it had affected many people, caused damage across the National Forest and proved to be a bad thing for this teen and his family. Yes, someone will pay for it.

I am thankful we have a Savior who died for our sins. I am so thankful to be a child of God and to have His continual protection over my family, our home and over our neighbors as well. For my husband and I desire others not to suffer. We desire for all to come to know the goodness of God and His abiding protection when we reside in His presence always.

Yes, someone will create some mischief and cause problems for maybe you or someone you know but we are to continue to give thanks to God, not for the mischief but because we have a loving God who looks over us and to keep us safe.  Our eyes must be open to see the ploys of the enemy and be alert to apply God's word over our lives, our neighbors and of those who live in other states and other countries.

We are all connected in some way or fashion. We all affect others, but ours, those who know their God will pray for the safety of mankind, pray for their souls to be saved and that people will know His love always.
It is easy to judge another, but that is not what the Lord desires for us. Ours is to forgive and move forward. Ours is to be about the Father's business, just like Jesus spoke of.
Will you be about your Father's business? Will you move forward when smoke appears, fire lights up the hillside? Will you continue to move and make a difference for His kingdom?

We pray for all who read these blogs. My husband and I pray all who read them will be motivated in their walk with the Lord, to see their family come to Jesus and know the good of God for their lives. Today we pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself to you in the comfort of God's love. May you know your life is not over and know the best is on its way when we make the Lord our priority. Please know that God can and will work through your life to others and that He is true, He lives and He is for them!

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which (you and I) have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Peter 1:2-4)
Amen!

Would YOU Like Me If.....

Would you like Me?
Would you like me if I weighed less? Would you like me if I weighed more or if I were younger or how about being older? Would you like me if I were a certain color or had less gray in my hair? Would you like me if I were taller or spoke like you? Would you like me if I was more  like you?

1 Samuel 1:1-12 This man went from his city year by year to worship and sacrifice to the Lord of hosts at Shiloh, where Hophni and Phinehas, the two sons of Eli, were the Lord's priests. 4 When the day came that Elkanah sacrifice, he would give to Peninnah his wife and all her sons and daughters portions [of the sacrificial meat]. 5 But to Hannah he gave a double portion, for he loved Hannah, but the Lord had given her no children. 6[ This embarrassed and grieved Hanna] & her rival provoked her greatly to vex her, because the Lord had left her childless. 7 So it was year after year; whenever Hannah went up to the Lord's house, Peninnnah provoked her, so she wept and did not eat.  8 Then Elkanah her husband said to her, "Hannah, why do you cry? And why do you not eat? And why are you grieving? am I not more to you than ten sons?" 9 So Hannah rose after they had eaten and drunk in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his seat beside a post of the temple [tent] of the Lord. 10 And [Hannah] was in distress of soul, praying to the Lord and weeping bitterly. 11 She vowed, saying O Lord of hosts, of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your handmaid and [earnestly ] remember, and not forget Your handmaid but will give me a son, I will give him to the Lord all his life; no razor shall touch his head. 12 And she continued praying before the Lord.....

For Hannah, she lived within a household that held two women! Then factor in she Hannah was favored by her husband Elkanah yet, she Hannah had no children with him. And Peninnah chose to grieve Hannah about it. In verse 7 we find that Peninnah provoked Hannah that she wept and she did not eat.
Now that is serious ....!

In all that is reported to this in scripture, Hannah did not carry a negative thought. Her desire she made mention of it to the Lord and on a regular basis she pursued the Lord for an answer of a son for her and Elkanah.

In all that is reported in scripture on  Hannah, there was nothing found in a negative way about her. Today's culture is really different from what was allowed at that time. Although you do hear from time to time of men having more than one wife. I believe some Muslims have more than one wife at a time. Yet, that would be hard for any woman, and then to have no children with your husband would make life difficult indeed!

Yes, Hannah prayed for years. She had painful experiences and Peninnah chose to aggravate the circumstances within Hannah's life. But Hannah chose prayer. She knew her answer could come and she chose to keep that prayer of supplication going out to the Lord who answers.

Hannah came to a monumental moment when speaking: "I will give him to the Lord all his life."

She chose not to be paralyzed by the fear the other woman imposed upon her. Hannah chose to pray!

Yes the culture dictates something different. People write things to be liked. People will do anything to have a following and yet we find in this woman of so many years ago took the road of prayer.'
In this day and time, God still answers with I sent My Son for you. In this hour, He reminds us that it does not matter the skin color, the weight issue or even how tall or short we might be.
For Hannah prayed out of a heart breaking for "a son" and God even knew then the Son He would be giving for the world to be saved.
It should not matter if someone likes us or not. It should matter when we have committed our all to God!
At some point we must be sane about life. At some point we must choose life and the life giving words that come from God alone.

In the strength of prayer time, our communication with Him, we reject the world's chatter and the world's abuse. In choosing the Lord we are under His protection...........and our expectancy is the answer from Him that will bring much light, much love, and deliver us into a restored life we were meant to have from the start!

SAD but true, cruelty appears to be on the rise today. And it appears even among those who lead others. Today as you and I take inventory of our lives, will we see the familiar anguish and pain or has our hope been set in the Lord?
We too, can be like Hannah who received a son. Within the love of God and for His glory, Hannah had a son and he became a prophet, Samuel who ministered unto the LORD!

It is more important to be found with God. Hannah's identity was found in Him, and she secured a son. Her security did not depend on any man. She kept her voice vocal about the goodness of God and prayed. Within that prayer time, she became free to become what God had planned for her.

May we choose to take our identity within God! Set your course with those who will see potential in you. Pursue people who will see where you are going and not from where you came from.

Are there any associations we must eliminate from our lives?
Find those who will encourage you in the Word of God. They will be those who will always send you fed with His life in you.
Today, leave the dead behind and seek the land of the living. Seeks those who live for God and will encourage you to do the same!
