Chaos

What degree of chaos do we look to see where we reside? What decides that amount of chaos? Is it of God or the enemy?

Chaos is found in the first chapter of Genesis. This is not that which God makes over by rebuilding and making new. This is when studied has the nature of two beings. Chaos: Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

In the Dake's Study Bible: in the Hebrew the word is tohu va bohu meaning a waste and empty ( Jeremiah 4:23) The earth was not created tohu in the beginning ( Isaiah 45:18) but became tohu because of sin. Satan was cast out of heaven. So here between verse 1-2 we find Holy Spirit hovering. He was regarding the blackness of sin.

In truth chaos began here. In this we call the Bible should be referred to as the War Manual written by God Himself! If you have time to search out these two verses you will find that the Hebrew words were not submitted but held back. In this without form and void is one beast of the system and the second is marked as the darkness. But this is an evil darkness here. And the One who can rid this world of it is a Shepherd with a staff!

This darkness is evil and is filled with confusion, hate, and anger! In this we find Leviathan and Behemoth.  The spirit of Leviathan attempts to keep us from entering the Holy of Holies, into the very presence of God.   No man could go there except Moses and the High Priest; and then only once a year.   This is the third veil, and Leviathan does not want us there.   This third veil was rent when Jesus died on the cross.   This was the veil between the Spirit-filled realm and the very presence of God.   Here Leviathan stands to block entrance.

The spirit of Leviathan attempts to snuff out the lamps (knowledge and understanding); cut off the bread (the manna); and he tries to keep us from offering up daily incense (prayer in the Spirit).   He does not want us to move in the Holy Spirit; to have words of knowledge, speak in tongues, or any other spiritual gift.   He will choke us off with spiritual deafness and blindness, causing us to be tongue-tied.   Leviathan will imitate the Holy Spirit and cause false gifts, healings, and even miracles to manifest in the believers.

Out of his nostrils goes smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron (His nostrils belch forth smoke, thick as the fumes of a seething pot.).     Job 41:20

The smoke from Leviathan nostrils is false prayer and false worship at the altar of incense, and he is commissioned to counterfeit the genuine Pentecostal experience.   Because the person is so bound up with pride, he cannot really praise God.   He is too important, too bound up in himself, to give any real praise and worship to God.

His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal (His arrogance and haughtiness stems from the tight sealed scales covering his body.).   Job 42:15

Leviathan's scales are so close one to another that no air can come between them.   The scales are joined one to another and cannot be pulled apart.   In scripture; air, breath, and wind are synonymous with the Holy Spirit.

The reason many people get so shut in is because of the effects of Leviathan's tight coils around them, inhibiting the moving of the Holy Spirit.  They cannot hear or discern the Holy Spirit, and they say they never get a word from the Lord or move in the gifts.   The reason is that no air of the Holy Spirit is able to get in because this demon has such a strangle hold.

The spirit Leviathan wants us to have the counterfeit; and if we get that and are satisfied with it, he has us.   Leviathan in the pastor, teacher, evangelist, etc. charms or hypnotizes the people, and they are deceived and seduced into believing they are operating through the Holy Spirit.   Today, many are experiencing counterfeit gifts.   Many are requiring deliverance from false, error filled ministries.   Increasingly, deliverance ministries are having to cast out spirits of false tongues.

One of Leviathan's chief jobs is to mock, come against, and block deliverance and/or deliverance ministries.   Most people who fight the deliverance ministry have powerful leviathan demons; and are, therefore, rarely delivered.   Many of the ministers who refuse to open up to the ministry of deliverance are being controlled by a leviathan spirit.

The reason pastors, teachers, evangelist, etc. accept leviathan's lies is because they refuse to believe that they may have demons and are in need of deliverance.  It's not a 'shame' to have demons, the shame is not acknowledging, repenting, and getting rid of it through deliverance.   Instead, they teach the people 'Christians cannot have demons'.

The 'true' deliverance of God is casting out demons according to Mark 16:17- 18:

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;  .  .  .  they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.    Mark 16:17-18

The Bible says that if we do not love the truth, God will cause us to believe a lie.   The only way to get rid of the demonic influence of Leviathan is to 'cast him out in the Name of Jesus'.

Leviathan stops spiritual growth in people.   They cannot pray or read their bible.   They go to sleep during services.   Whenever there are severe problems with bible study; concentration on spiritual goals; restrictions and bondages which hinder worship or just about anything which is genuinely spiritual and of the Lord; there you will find Leviathan operating.

Depending upon how much control Leviathan exerts over an individual, he can and will hinder and/or stop bible study, genuine edification of praying in the Spirit with understanding, heartfelt praise and worship, fellowship with the Lord's people, and any revival movements.

One of the immediate blessings resulting from the expulsion of Leviathan is a radical apparent in outlook and the whole approach to the spiritual growth process.   Many report a clearing of confusion and a great increased ability to read and retain the Word.

His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone (His heart is as hard as a rock; solid and unyielding as a nether millstone.).    Job 41:24

Leviathan's heart is said to be firm as a stone, hard as a piece of nether millstone.   Here, hard and cold heartedness are tied to Leviathan.   There is no compassion, grace, or mercy.

In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him (Strength dwells in his neck and terror dances before him.).    Job 41:22

The neck speaks of the will. Are you known to have strong-will?   Stiff-necked pride and stubbornness are with Leviathan.   Sometimes strength in the neck can be a negative thing, because Jesus spoke of the stiff-necked and uncircumcised heart.   The bowing of the neck is rebellion, which brings us back to pride.

The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved  (The folds of his flesh close in on each other, firmly and immovably cast upon him.).    Job 41:23

We are descended from Adam; and therefore, easily affected by pride.   This is why Leviathan is so strong, powerful, and deeply rooted in us.   The fascination with the forbidden, feeds Leviathan who wreaths himself tightly in the old self.

Can thou draw out leviathan with a hook?   Or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down (Can you draw out the wreathed sea-serpent, the dragon, with a fishing hook?   Or his tongue with a rope snare)?     Job 41:1

Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out (Flames shoot forth from his mouth, bright as a burning torch).     Job 41:19

His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth (His very breath will set coals aflame, and fire leaps forth from his mouth).     Job 41:21

Tongue problems are rooted in Leviathan.   When he gets in the church and looses some of that fire, he sets the whole place ablaze.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.     James 3:6

The Leviathan spirit carries the very nature and works of the accuser of the brethren.   The first way that this spirit will attack is with his tongue.   The lying, critical tongue: this spirit attacks out of his mouth with lies, gossip, accusation, criticism, faultfinding, and slander.   He wants to slander your character and bring reproach on your name.

Leviathan is working today through the body of Christ; and we see many churches, ministers, and organizations bringing accusations against one another.   There is a critical, faultfinding spirit at work in churches today judging and speaking against moves of God, ministries, and denominations different from one another.   If you're a quarreler, contentious, always arguing with people, your problem is pride and the spirit of Leviathan.

He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment (He makes the deep to boil like a pot: he makes the sea foam like a pot of ointment).     Job 41:31

Leviathan makes the deep to boil like a pot: and the sea foam like a pot of ointment.   This brings us back to self again.   The deep is where the real you is located.   There is a deep in me, and I'm very careful about who I let in there.

The Leviathan spirit will cause that deep to boil.   There will be a restlessness and turmoil, a constant agitation, deep inside.   Sometimes you cannot sleep well because there is something moving around, boiling in there.   When we get down to the real, true self, we are where Leviathan has his stronghold.   Also, note that this boiling is not only in you; but that it also stirs up other people around you (the sea).

Leviathan can come in to strangle your experience in God in such a way that you can slumber for years without notice.   Many in the church today are asleep spiritually; and God says, "It is time to wake up"!

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.     Ephesians 5:14

Another area where Leviathan works is in causing a variety of learning difficulties for youngsters, especially reading problems.    Leviathan is the source of confusion and lack of ability to retain things we hear and/or see.

Often pains, stiffness in the neck and shoulder region, and headaches located in the back of the head have been traced to Leviathan.   Although this is not the only source for such discomfort, for problems of this nature, check for Leviathan.

Behemoth is found in the book of Job! He eats grass like an ox. His strength is in his loins. ( chapter 40 verse 16) He is slow moving creature found in Job 40. You cannot as man snare him. Jesus is the righteous who does this. And it is coming soon for all to know about! Only God's sword will take him out!

Submit yourself therefore to God.   Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.    James 4:7

You can resist the devil all day long, but there must first be submission to God if you are really going to be free.   You must say, "God, I'm going to have to break out of this pride and become submissive to You.   I humble myself before you and ask for your help."   This is the starting place to overthrow pride.

Seems like so many things are happening at once: like the fire taking out most of Nebraska. It has burned almost a million acres. How about the Meteor ( 7-ton) hitting Ohio? Viewed from a dash camera, you can see this size of this burning rock coming to earth? How about flooding in Hawaii not one but twice in a week? They are getting what amounts to three months of rain in a day! 52 inches of snow fell in Michigan.  Eight tornadoes in Illinois and earthquake in South Carolina. Or how about the meteor that broke the sound barrier in Houston Texas falling into a person's home? Talk about fire and ice....wind with snow making for those whiteouts!

The Good News is that Jesus is both the Answer and the Deliverer.   We know that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus.   May we all humble ourselves before God and root out all pride for the destruction of Leviathan in the Name of Jesus.

An Artesian Well of Good or a Nasty Flood of Evil

Ecclesiastes 9:17  ESV The words of the wise heard in quiet are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools.

I wrote out a number of scripture verses to study and memorize for 2017. In them, I am looking into speaking with less words, more to the point and less opinion. It is important to get to the point and to keep an opinion out of the way of God's truth. I am thinking people get enough of the other from T.V.
I also went to look at other scriptures like the one above in scripture knowledge and found this one that speaks the same or in a similar way.
Proverbs 28:23..NKJV....He who rebukes a man will find more favor afterward than he would flatters with the tongue.

James 3:13-18 cinches this  all together.
James 3:13-18 ..........NKJV....Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is fire pure, then peaceable, gently, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

God's wisdom gives us the insight and how to rightly implement His knowledge through out our days. His wisdom is vital in everyday conversations with your spouse, your children ( grown up or still at home), with co-workers, with those at the grocery store, postal office, or other. And His wisdom is good for any people and at any age of life.

Pondering God's thoughts for us is always a needed thing. I am always wanting to seek out that quiet time, and hear the quiet voice, yes, the small still voice that is not like the world. It is one which speaks by asking you first, "Why are you here?"

1 Kings 19:9  NKJV
9 And there he went into a cave, and spent the night in that place; and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and He said to him, "What are doing here, Elijah?"

AND of course, Elijah has his answer. He was zealous for the Lord. Coming from chapter 18 of 1 Kings we saw and heard the spectacular of God. In all that Elijah was believing all hearts would be changed to God, evidently in an instant, which they were not. Jezebel was still Queen and had hatred for Elijah. Elijah still had the Holy Spirit but in his zealousness, he was not allowing God His true way. Of course, Elijah went into a depression, and desired his life to be over.

God asked a question in Genesis 3:9.
Genesis 3:9 NKJV .....The the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?"
Now we know God was not asking out of any ignorance, but rather as a parent to the child.
"Where are you?"

If we are shouting to others, then who will really hear us? If we want (or demand) our way, and shouting is the norm, then I would say, 'no one ever hears you!"
Any within your region of influence will be looking for "EXIT" SIGN!
Having the righteousness of God is having fruit and that fruit is sown in peace by those who make peace. (James 3:18)
Jesus taught thousands on hillsides outside Jerusalem and I never read HE had a megaphone.

In Proverbs 28:23, we find honesty, though painful will always win the long-term reward. The MESSAGE Bible speaks it this way: ' in the end, serious reprimand is appreciated far more than boot-licking flattery.

Again James 3:14 and 15.....tells us that .....if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

Any relationship and any time given as in bible studies, teaching and preaching the word of God and in everyday life are to be lived in wisdom of God, spoken with less words, and remain in His peace. Remaining in His righteousness, and receiving Jesus we have righteousness, but it is that which is from God. WE must remain in God!

Proverbs 17:27 ESV... Whoever restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding.
The Message Bible writes it this way: the one who knows much says little; an understanding person remains calm.
That tongue can certainly cause someone to sin. And the tongue can when used loosely will produce sin.

So if God asked "Where are you?" Could we or would we say, "we are waiting on Him in His presence to hear Him speak to us?"
Or would we with loose lips, complain and ask Him why He delays something we really want or think we really need?

As in teaching and preaching God's Word requires no dilution! So too wordiness brings evil with an intent to harm or hurt. But true teaching of God is yes, a rebuke at times, but is a place of healing, a place of experiencing God and His love and having an ability to live it and tell it to others.

In view of others, it is only God's word that is to be given and the word which will heal. It is not up to us who give God's word to make sure the other receives it. We are not the Holy Spirit, but we are too give that which is the divine blessing God desires others to have.
I had another favorite scripture I add today.
It is found in Habakkuk 2.
Habakkuk 2:1-4
1 I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected. 2 Then the Lord answered me and said: "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come.. It will not tarry. "Behold the proud , His soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by faith.

I had a teaching on this many years ago. In essence it is to write anything God has spoken to you. Keep it in a journal and add to that which God speaks. In dealing with others, we are to keep our commitment to God and time with Him. In that we do not become the intoxicated in our selves. We should not be the self-seeking and be those who envy. Because we indulge in our own gratification and see how many we can smooze with worldly talk, then we become the "stinking proud".

We are to be the righteous. We are to be promoting peace, but we also must know that peace comes with a big price. And in that is all of God and no opinion of or by man. It is certainly good that we mourn corruption, wickedness and even those abominations in the land. For in that we are revealing God, His heart and His character.
As we speak with few words, but in the strength of His, we reach the concerned, and the distressed. And those who may be away from Him will come back again to His love and His kingdom which is by faith.
Some things will not happen overnight. For it takes time to recover, to be reconciled, endure with patience as Jesus did.  Our souls are to endure in Jesus. By the Word, we adhere to Him and then move to that to which we are the destined.

In that time of quiet, we speak with less words, and desire to His strong voice speaking so low, yet so peaceful and still with power that comes from God. I write the vision for what He has given me to journal. I write that which is given to place on my heart, the tablet that reads of His word so that I might run to that which I am the appointed.
Whew, God did not ask me "where are you"? But what did He say? What was the last scripture verse He gave you and when did He give it?

Learning to wait in the quiet, hear the still small voice and abide in not only loving Him but obeying Him!

If you think you need a megaphone, ask God why you feel you are not heard? Pay attention to your own life and do you give others time to speak or do you monopolize the conversation? Another question would be if you desire all the attention?

Conducting our lives in God's principles gives a wealth of His wisdom to operate in His power. Having revelation to handle each comes by the Holy Spirit. We are not compromise but abide in peace without envy, confusion and self-seeking encounters.

I close with this verse. Proverbs 18:4 The words of a man's mouth are deep waters; the wellspring of wisdom is a flowing brook. NKJV
Message Bible  Proverbs 18:4 Many words rush along the rivers in flood, but deep wisdom flows up from artesian springs.

When we speak, does it look and sound like a really big flood in the early spring or does it appear more like that Artesian well ......where God's wisdom bubbles up to exhort and speak to the point with few words?
Proverbs 10:11...NKJV speaks that the mouth of the righteous is a well of life, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
That means that there are two situations that can occur with the tongue. Speaking right in righteousness that is of God brings life, and speaking the other in envy, confusion, strife, etc, only brings violence.

How about living in peace and using only God's Words?

Trees, Figs and Whirlwinds

DO we understand the importance of speaking truthful words and avoiding those that bring curses on our family members like husband, wife, child, or grand-children, even our pets?

Like talking with the dog: "ready to eat", " oh you poor ole' thing.......you can barely make it to the dish".  Yes, that it a curse. It is cursing your valued friend.

Was speaking about this to my son-in-law recently. For words that come through any video games, movies created for teens, youths or even small ones can bring those words that can harm them as they hear them.

Matthew 21:18-22faith,
18 Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. 19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, "Let no fruit grow on you ever again." And immediately the fig tree withered away.
( all He said was, "Let no fruit grow on you ever again.")
Even one word from Jesus, stopped this tree from even producing leaves, it withered away.
So how many people speak as of the world, and speak something that will wither life in the child to produce a dancing protege'? So they never fulfill that purpose.

Then Jesus points to something very specific here:

20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, "How did the fig tree wither away so soon?" 21 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done. 22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."     NKJV

Our believing in "something" has effect on what life we live out, how and what way we treat our loved ones, pray for them, and exhort them in the things God purposed for them. In Romans 15:13....the Amplified Bible says this: May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [ through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound (bubbling over) with hope.
Our speech, those words of life are from the Lord and represent life. Then we on purpose speak them with the hope in our heart........that is seen as joy and peace.......in believing Him. And through our faith, our believing, we are empowered even more into life by the Holy Spirit.

As we look into the passage below, Peter makes a comment, and probably stood and gazed at the withered tree.

Mark 11:20-26
20 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away." 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

25 "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses."    NKJV

Now imagine, Peter pointing to the tree.........and saying with much excitement sprinkled with questioning anxiousness, Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away."
And then while Peter (Shelley) would be waiting for some well instructed, one-on-one conversation about the withering.........Peter (Shelley) would be moved again by the remark spoken by Jesus..........."HAVE FAITH IN GOD." "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea." and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says.'
Then Jesus goes on to talk about praying. That by believing you receive what you ask for...........and to FORGIVE him.

The importance of our words was given in this above. The fig tree covered with leaves looked appealing, and in all its beauty, it revealed no fruit but only leaves. This passing by the vineyard showed only a tree completely leaved out but with no real fruit gives one the air of "being pretentious", and of being deceptive.
"Something" may look good but if it produces no life to another, then it is not good for anything. In this case it was a "fig tree". Something may look awesome on the outside, but when you look further it may be just empty inside. "Someone" may be able to spit out the Word of God and give some kind of a "message" without any point leaves one wondering, "What just happened here"?
Faith in God is our leading of the whole of our spirit and soul in His hands. That we are not to be ruled by the eye gate, but to use the eye gate to focus on the word of God and to get it in our hearts where change will take place.
Prayer may represent something like an informal plea for "help". Have you seen some prayer just spoke off the cuff? Now God can answer prayers of that kind for He is always looking at the heart.  And something from the heart will turn God toward them.

Luke 13:6-9
6 He also spoke this parable: "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. 7 Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, 'Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?' 8 But he answered and said to him, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. 9 And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.' "   NKJV

Now this implication was toward Israel and their refusing to produce spiritual fruit. Jesus' amount of time in ministry to them was three years. But this nation at the time of Jesus was empty. It was void of a love to God and for God.  Their love was seen in their buildings, their extended length of tassels and the Temple as well. But they were in dire need of a relationship with God.
Jesus had told them to repent. (Luke 13:5)
Jesus is the only door. And it is by our repenting and by FAITH that doors are open!  For one truly embraced by Jesus encounters the "life giving" force He spoke of that came from the Father.
EACH of us has the opportunity to teach others of what the Lord has taught us. Each of us the ability by the Holy Spirit to direct other's into God's love. For to those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, is there the peace that can be multiplied to us in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. (2 Peter 1:2)

Luke 6:43-45
43 "For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. NKJV

If we look at our own lives and see where our time is spent, we find what areas might need some help to move back away from that which might be cursing our children or grand-children. And what I mean by that looks like this. If our children are learning to "war with guns"...in video games or learning some form of violence that they might decide to "share" at school. Or they may decide to take to dancing, and dance really well but do it in a way that is casting away of all restraint! If the only examples they see are rated R, then the child or children will think it is okay to do that. Mom said, or Dad said, "it is okay for me to see!"  What if an area looks....very ...much...like..reaching for something to ease the pain of loss in relationships by a move to another city or state, or it may look like a lost marriage or even a job? Where our heart resides determines our actual victory or defeat for those young ones in our families. Our children are our children all of their lives. But we have the greatest force to speak while they are young and within our boundaries placed by His Word.
If we remain, if we abide in Jesus, and bear fruit to that account, it will be for life for us and others. It will produce fruit in the talent they have, but have the boundaries that will bring them to honor and not to dishonor. They may have a voice to sing, but will be one to bring them to honor not to dishonor.

Is there anything we are rewarding our children or grand-children with that might bring a hard punch back to us in the future?
Are we allowing others to dictate a story line to our children or grand-children that will direct them far from God and into destruction?
What commercials do we allow our "kids" to see on TV that may not be good for their formative years?

"Can a blind man guide a blind man?" Wouldn't they both end up in the ditch? An apprentice does not lecture the master. The point is to be careful who you follow as your teacher. Message Bible (Luke 6:39-40)

Proverbs 19:27
27 Cease listening to instruction, my son,
And you will stray from the words of knowledge. NKJV

When we choose to stop listening to instruction, we move away from the words of knowledge. Choosing to blanket ourselves and those of  our children in darkness is no benefit and will bring no life. It only adds the fuel to more confusion. Are we living wisely, adhering to God and His instruction for our daily lives or do we just allow the world at large to dictate what we will see, what will entertain our children, what we eat, drive, and take home to wear?

We surely need God's wise counsel. Filling our hearts with knowledge and wisdom of the Holy One will direct us into peace, love and a boundary line of protection for those we love. Like Jesus we can curse those things that may not be a benefit to us. As we make no provision for the flesh, we will walk properly as we see the day approaching of the Lord's return.

Withering is caused by severe dryness. And the text of Matthew 21, we find the withered means scorched. (xeros).....(no water)
"And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
For if one remains in a dry place, the only answer they may get is from a dried up stream, dust blowing in the face and look like reaping a whirlwind.

Proverbs 1:23-27
23 If you had responded to my rebuke,
I would have poured out my heart to you
and made my thoughts known to you.
24 But since you rejected me when I called
and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand,
25 since you ignored all my advice
and would not accept my rebuke,
26 I in turn will laugh at your disaster;
I will mock when calamity overtakes you--
27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
when distress and trouble overwhelm you. NIV

Yikes!

If we pay no attention to what goes into our child's ( or children's) eyes, that deposit is in their little hearts. If they watch violence of video type games, they carry it with them. If they watch it or play it even 15 minutes a day, can you imagine the impact it will make on their lives? Will we gamble their lives? Will we pretend it is not serious? Are you ready for what they may look and act like in 20 years if you have not planted within them the support of God's Word to direct them to "life" and all that God purposed for them?

Just because you do not watch CNN or another news program, does not mean the violence will go away or not come to your neighborhood? You and I must put up the Word of God as our boundary and make the "loud" speaking that those things will not come near us. They may be on the rise in some places, but we declare they exist no more in our communities and our state. We believe the Word of the Lord to be the final answer of any violence against another.
As the time of Jesus' return comes closer to us, we might do well to remember to look at those times He was on the water with His disciples and remember those attacks at those junctures was demonic attacks. We would also do well to remember that we are to speak to storms like Jesus did. People must make a demand on any violent storms to split, yes, part like the Red Sea and move in two different directions.
His knowledge is vital for us today. May we rise up and take our place to be those who will put up the hedge............and expect God to hear our prayers for our loved ones and those who live in our communities and neighborhoods! May our prayers be with the force of the Holy Spirit in them. May our prayers for our loved ones and for those who love God have justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!  (Amos 5:23-24) Amen.
