Praying Away the Covid 19 Virus???

I saw a poll recently of how many considered pew sitters are trying to pray the covid 19 virus away! Now is that truth?

Luke 18:1-8 NKJV Then He spoke a parable to them, that men ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying, " There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 "Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, 'Get justice for me from my adversary.' 4 'And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, 'Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 'yet because of this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.'" 6 Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 "And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him though He bears long with them? 8 "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"

In this truth, it is those who come willing to pray by faith in His name that God's will is done on earth as it is in heaven. Is there sickness in heaven? NO!
You and I live in a fallen world. And it continues to decay, to break into stones and pebbles and sometimes stinks terribly. But the reality is that we have authority given us by Jesus!

Sanctified by salvation: we grow and commit Our Father’s planned & purposeful creativity for which we were born & to live out in this very hour..for…it is in the love and patience of Christ…and our looking for His return.

1 John 3:1 See what [an incredible]quality of love the Father has given....(shown ,bestowed) on us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge)us is that it does not know,(recognize, acknowledge) Him.
God the Father has set in motion regeneration to those who are born again into the family of God. It is in this experience, the world will never understand for it chooses that which has nothing to do with God!

1 John 4:10 NKJV in this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if  God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

1 John 5:3-6   Amp Bible 3 For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances & are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive or grievous). 4 For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; & this the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?
6 This is He Who came by (with) water and blood [His baptism and His death] Jesus Christ (the Messiah)-----not by (in) the water only, but by (in) the water and the blood. And it is the [Holy] Spirit Who bears witness because the [Holy] Spirit is the TRUTH!

In authority, we are mindful of the precepts given us in the doctrine of the kingdom that has come through Jesus Christ! From 1 John 5: 4 states that whatever is born of God is victorious over the world and that means any virus, any disease like cancer, anything the devil tries to whip up to bring destruction on others is under the feet of Jesus. Adhering to Jesus, we adhere to life, we adhere to those promises of God that was given to remind us that victory is ours. If He is seated on our hearts, then we see and enjoy that victory, and our faith is evident!

1 John 5:9-12 Amplified Bible 9 If we accept [as we do] the testimony of men [ if we are willing to take human authority], the testimony of God is greater ( of stronger authority), for this is the testimony of God, even the witness which He has borne regarding His Son. 10 He who believes in the Son of God [ who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] has the testimony.....[ possesses this divine attestation] within himself.

This Attestation: authentic, evidence, declaration........He who does not believe God [in this way] has made Him out to be and represented Him as a liar, because he has not believed (put his faith in, adhered to, and relied on) the evidence ( the testimony) that God has borne regarding His Son. 11 And this is that testimony ( that evidence); God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who possesses the Son has that life; he who does not possess the Son of God does not have that life.

Certainly we see many men speak today, from news anchors, to medical specialists to those who have only opinions and no truth working within their hearts! So if I choose to watch one news network like One America News or NewsMax over CNN, I choose to watch who I believe is operating in a truth that is not biased. If you choose another network, you might find them giving a truth you believe to be true. Yet in this should you and I choose to trust the word of God above all else, for God who cannot fail and cannot lie is in our midst. For certainly God is credible from Genesis to Revelation and we can participate with Him in these last days! Accepting His Son Jesus, is accepting God's approval that is sealed in the blood of the Lamb slain for those who would believe. If you or I choose not to believe God in that He sent His Son, then we make God a liar. Rejecting Jesus is accusing God of dishonesty.

The Source of life given to you and I is life eternally. In that eternal life is not that found in education nor is it found in philosophy nor is it found in some man's idea of what God was doing and whether or not it had anything to do with Jesus. And within this life in Jesus, we have justice and it comes from the Father of lights of whom there is no shadow of His turning. He does not change His mind of what He has purposed for you and for me.

YOU and I have life through Jesus Christ when we receive Him as Lord of our lives! In Him we have what God intended and without that there is only death and hell to expect! But in Christ we have a given authority to stand and speak out loud that trust in His name that what was accomplished for us at the Cross and for us to grab hold today and know it as that benefit.

The evidence, that testimony is that Jesus died to give us life: John 10:10 The thief (satan) does not come except to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.
Life is living, it is living in health and wholeness, not with disease or virus.
Our praying now should be for our neighbors to know Jesus as we know Him. Our prayers should be that we reach God's heart loving them as we love ourselves. Are we doing just that?

Message Bible: Romans 6:16……….So, since we are out from under the old tyranny, does that mean we can live any old way we want? Since we are free in the freedom of God, can we do anything that comes to mind? Hardly. You know well enough from your own experience that there are some acts of so-called freedom that destroys freedom Offer yourselves to sin for instance & it is your last free act.

But offer yourselves to the ways of God and the freedom never quits. All your lives you’ve let sin tell you what to do. But thank God you’ve started listening to a new master, one whose commands sets you free to live openly in his freedom! I am using this freedom language because it is easy to picture. You can readily recall can't you, how at one time the more you did just what you felt like doing.....not caring about others, not caring about God----the worse your life became and the less freedom you had? And how much different is it now as you live in God’s freedom, your lives healed and expansive in holiness?

WE FIND in the New Testament, the Greek word 'soteria' (salvation) means both spiritual and physical salvation.  The main teaching is pointing toward that both a good soul and good health is available. 3 John 2 states in the Amplified Bible:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.

God desire us to be healed in body and mind.  And that healing comes in the package of our salvation.  Looking into Salvation through Christ embraces this triune nature of man, not just his soul and spirit. This truth is secured by two redemptive names of God:
JEHOVAH-TSIDKENU meaning "The Lord our Righteousness"
JEHOVAH-RAPHA meaning "The Lord our Physician"

So we arrive at an amazing conclusion: if we believe in faith that Jesus’ death and sacrifice on the cross is sufficient to forgive our sins, then the same sacrifice is sufficient to take away our diseases and sicknesses. Faith is the substance, and Christ Jesus is the foundation of the “thing” we desire of the Lord. We are both the forgiven & the healed at the time of our Salvation.  And the process contains the truth that sin is forgiven, & when we get sick we can be the healed. It is residing in Him, in heavenly places, & where speech or our words are not corrupt.

Father, in Jesus' name: We pray that every evil practice would collide with truth and life in the northwest! Acts 8:4-8 Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. 5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; & many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.
We believe our community and the northwest will hear the Gospel truth and know Jesus that is life in the chaos that is represented in the streets today! We pray they know that anything outside of God is outside His borders of protection!

Father: We declare our home and community to be a dwelling place for God's presence. "'And I Myself will be a wall of fire around it,' declares the Lord, 'and I will be its glory within.'" (Zechariah 2:5) Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD in the light of Your countenance. 16 In Your name they rejoice all day long, and in Your righteousness they are exalted. 17 For You are the glory of their strength & in Your favor our horn exalted. Yes, we celebrate the light of His presence which brings to us strength and favor.
(Psalm 89:15-17). We give thanks for favor, that You are a wall of protection for those who call on Your name in Your truth. We know the joyful sound that comes from walking with You daily. In Your light we see light. We pray for our neighbors to know truth and to dwell in peace!

We praise You Lord for You hide us in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man; & He keeps us secretly from the strife of tongues. Thank You Lord for disarming the enemy. (Psalm 31:20; Exodus 33:14).
We thank You for revealing the plots of the enemy who made coronavirus and that which causes harm to those made in Your image. The devil certainly will use men who know not God. We stand in faith, with the full armor of God to resist the enemy steadfast in the faith. We have set Your word as our STANDARD. We submit to Your leadership in the land of the living! We confess: that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We dwell in the secret place of the most High God!

Father thank You for your faithfulness & may we be faithful for in Your presence those who work deceit shall not dwell within Your house; He who tells lies shall not continue in Your presence. (Psalm 101:7). We invite the fear of the Lord to rest on our community. Then angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him & delivers them. (Psalm 34:7) Let Him be our fear, and let Him be our dread. He will be as a sanctuary, but a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense. (Isaiah 8:13-14)
Father thank You for directing our feet into the place where there is no deceit. We invite the fear of the Lord to reside in this our community and thank You for angels to encamp around those who fear God indeed!

Father, in Jesus' name we are praying that doctrinal differences would give way to demonstrating the Spirit and power: 2 Timothy 1: 7-8 NKJV For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God.
We are not in fear, but we are in strength and joy commanding angels to be deployed to help our neighbors in the care of their older parents, and the younger generation of grand-children. We believe God to be true and every man the liar.

Psalm 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.
Father, we know spiritual unity is vital to the body of believers. The Lord Jesus prayed for this unity for those who would be followers to having a complete unity with the Father. Thank You for the wonderful outpouring of the Holy Spirit that brings us together to abide in the truth of God and having one heart with Him. Amen and Amen!

You and I must know God's order that is found in His word and anything outside of that is chaos. This is a time period of shutdowns, no travel, closed businesses, closed sports arenas, closed shopping malls, closed schools, no vacations and no whim or spur of the moment activity! This is really that moment for each person: man, woman and child to determine who they will serve with their heart. It is looking to God to lead us in paths of righteousness for His name's sake and not ours! If you and I do not change in this time given ....here in 2020....there will be another sign to see soon. Yes, in the year 2025 Apophis the asteroid arrives in the sky and one will be able to see it with the naked eye. It is slated to touch the earth in 2029. As those made in God's image, have we followed closed after Jesus to see God's will done on earth or have we changed His word for our own ways of being and doing? God is not mocked, for what we have sown in abortions, and changing the marriage of one man with one woman will certainly have a deciding factor on what occurs next. Prayer is yes, important, and it is those who pray in faith believing God has His way and not our desires to come to pass.

May we truly reach out with a heart for Him and with Him to seek His plan through this period of a trial...for a certain tribulation is ahead....the roadway marked for chaos, but those in God will reside in peace, know His love and avail to know victory while others may not see any of that at all.
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. And that word prevails over every name that can be named, including Covid 19 and Apophis. Jesus is far above those names and I would be praying for that ...so our neighbors will know Jesus and know their home is with Him always. He is: Healer! He is: Great Physician! He is: Prince of Peace sent by the Father of love to bring love to a broken world!
May faith be seen when He returns....let God arise and let His enemies be scattered.

Peace, Grief and Snobbery?

Romans 12:9-18  Amplified Bible
[Let your] love be sincere ( a real thing); hate what is evil [loathe all ungodliness, turn in horror from wickedness]; but hold fast to that which is good.
10 Love one another with brotherly affection [as members of one family]. giving precedence and showing honor to one another. 11 Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord. 12 Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer.
13 Contribute to the needs of God's people [sharing in the necessities of the saints]; pursue the practice of hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you [who are cruel in their attitude toward you];bless and do not curse them. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice [sharing other's joy], and weep with those who weep [sharing other's grief].  16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty [ snobbish, high-minded, exclusive], but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits. (Proverbs 3:7) 17 Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is honest and proper and noble[ aiming to be above reproach ] in the sight of everyone. (Proverbs 20:22)
18 If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

In meditating on the above scripture I thought on this one.

Isaiah 50:4 "The Lord God has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned. NKJV
weary: O.T.3287...ye'eph (yaw-afe') from O.T, 3286...fatigued, the exhausted

Like Isaiah we too can speak a word in season to him who is the weary, the exhausted.
Being reminded to love others sincerely, ( a real thing) then we are commanded to loathe all ungodliness, turn in horror from wickedness, but hold fast to that which is good.
Our character is one that is never lagging in zeal. But that zeal is in the Lord and not in confusion. Anything against God and His Word is of wickedness and it is confusion. We are to be bright with the light of His Word bearing witness that we are His own. Rejoicing in that hope, we are steadfast in speaking and adhering to His words of truth.
We look for those who might need a hand up. We are not to be snobbish in regard to our neighbor's. Yet today, that appears to be happening world wide.

We are told in verse 16 of Romans 12 to live in harmony with one another.

Proverbs 3:13-18
13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding;
14 For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver,
And her gain than fine gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies,
And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand,
In her left hand riches and honor.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
And all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her,
And happy are all who retain her. NKJV

We are told that God's wisdom brings happiness. It is in His wisdom that we find His peace. That pathway is designed in His peace that brings us to a pleasant  life. It is a place where brothers live together in unity! (Psalm 133:1)
Today is the time to rise and speak to others in boldness of God's word in us. With no masks and no hidden agendas, just the bottom line given that " people need Jesus"!

In Proverbs 10:10  Amplified Bible: He who winks with the eye [craftily and with malice] causes sorrow; the foolish of lips will fall headlong but he who boldly reproves makes peace.

To boldly reprove, is one who speaks with lips of truth, they are the wise who put into practice the knowledge gained from the word of God. There are no tricks and no excuses!
ONE who reproves will be one who lives his life in that which represents God, His Word, and God in his deed.
The word "reprove" is the Greek word "elegcho".
This word means to expose or to convict, such as to convict someone of a crime or of a sin. This is seen as in a court of law. The legal proceedings in which a person is examined and cross examined by questions.
This word elegcho describes the work done by the Holy Spirit of God. He convicts of sin. It is the Holy Spirit who will reveal the heart.
Giving God's word and standing on His word will reprove others. When we stand for truth, we sow truth into other people's lives.
Have you ever seen people truly flock to hear the word of God and others seem to stand far off or even outside of where the word of God is given? These are those who by the Holy Spirit have either become offended or just confused by the teaching of God's word, yet God's word will always prevail to where it is sent. This reproving by the Holy Spirit is of the positive nature. It helps someone to truly see they need a Savior, and convinces them of seeing it from God's perspective.

So if you come into church or even your place of work and people seem at odds, try loving them with a sincere heart that desires their good. Give them life with a smile on your face and a glow that comes from heaven. May God shine on you and present you before those who need God. And may you be bold and open with the testimony of Jesus Christ. Bring a heart felt peace into their lives and allow them to see Jesus operate through you. It is never too late to give others the Lord Jesus Christ.
And the God of peace will guard your heart and mind. Acknowledge the Holy Spirit today and allow Him free reign in and through you to others. Whether it is a "crock pot style" meeting or just a few people you work with, know God is on your side. He will never leave you or forsake you and will ultimately give you what you are to speak in that very hour. (Luke 12:12)

When we spend time with the Word and become convinced, that truth is solid in our heart. The power of the Holy Spirit has us tuned into to hearing His voice and His plan. God did not give us fear, nor did he desire us to quake at evil. We are to know His word, speak with joy of the Spirit and walk daily in that righteousness. Ask the Lord to show you any lie of the enemy you may face today. Ask Him to open your eyes to see clearly so that you too might reveal truth to others. For giving them Jesus is honoring them and yourself. It is in that length of integrity that we deal on God's terms and not our own.
Go now, love your neighbor as yourself and extend life to them by giving them scripture from His holy word. You will truly be set free to be all that He desires for you to be in HIM! Amen.

Delight and Pleasant Brings Life!

In earlier blogs I have written about the beauty of grace. Today I add another writing on the importance grace is to our lives.
Acts 4:32-37......
32 Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. 34 Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35 and laid them at the apostles' feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. 36 And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus, 37 having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.

NKJV

2 Peter 1:2-4..........  2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.   NKJV

Escaping the world is a good thing AND according to this it looks like we are to partake of the divine nature through all the precious promises given to us by God Himself.
If we sound like the world, does that bring any real change for good to anyone? If I just spend time telling you of my day and how I am doing my day, how does that help you or anyone?
But what if I am filled with the Holy Spirit, speak as I am directed by the Holy Spirit, to declare what God has done for me, and give you hope for your outcome of good in whatever situation or problem you face or see on the horizon, then you have been given that which is of a delight, pleasant, and brings life to you as it did to those who followed, not only David, BUT JESUS AS WELL! TESTIMONIES ARE GOD'S IDEA!

1 Thessalonians 5:5-24.................11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

12 Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 14 And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.

16 Be joyful always; 17 pray continually; 18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

19 Do not put out the Spirit's fire; 20 do not treat prophecies with contempt. 21 Test everything. Hold on to the good. 22 Avoid every kind of evil.

23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it. NIV

So how are we looking in regard to the scripture above? Do we look good and sound good? Does everything go back to God and to His glory or is it about how good I am and how good I am doing?
In praying for others, do we operate in the love that was displayed at the cross at Calvary? Do we exemplify the truth of love that was displayed?
Verse 12..........live in peace with others.......that means husbands, and with our children as well.
Verse 13..........holding them who are over us, those in ministry, the work place, or again the husband. Do we highly esteem our husband?  Do our words keep us in the peace of God, or we doing something other like King Saul did and cause tyranny in every direction?
Verse 16..........be joyful always. It says joyful ...........even when we have something we do not like to do, it is best to keep a cheerful heart. For when we smile, we can brighten other people's faces as well!
Verse 17..........pray continually. Are WE praying continually for people, those God has caused to surround us on every side? IT IS IN HIM, WE LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING.
Verse 18..........give thanks in all circumstances. It says to give thanks in all circumstances NOT FOR ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. So many times, people are giving thanks for the disease they have in their body. We do not lie about the disease and say it is not there if it does exist, BUT WE DO DENY IT'S RIGHT TO EXIST ANYWHERE IN OUR BODIES!
Verse 19.........pray to Not put out the Holy Spirit's fire ever and never treat prophecies with contempt.

The Holy Spirit enlightens us to the ways AND THOUGHTS OF GOD ......TO God's workings in His kingdom. He gives us details on what is on our pathway and it would not be good to douse the fire out with any carnal lusts.
Any teachings and preaching of the word is that which we are given as to prophecies. We are to not despise those teachings, but value the Word of God. It is His Word that is given by the Holy Spirit to increase our knowledge and grace.
Verse 21............hold on to good. Hold onto the good Word of God and let loose that which binds you to the world!
Verse 22.. ........avoid every kind of evil.........We have to remember people are watching us. We do not want to lead weak people back into the world if they just came out. What testimony could you give about how God has kept you from the world?
Verse 23..........May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.
Sanctified to do God's will for our lives. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8...............3 It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; 6 and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you. 7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. 8 Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit. NIV
God is faithful and He will do it!

It takes God's Grace to attract others to Him through us! How are we doing in this one thing? Are we giving a testimony of life or are we just whining how unfair life is to us? What do we expect from God as He has given us everything pertaining to life and godliness?

Father, thank You for grace. for we certainly see the advantage grace has for our lives. We give thanks for this attractiveness to others and that we can draw others to YOU always through this divine favor. We also understand that is by having a holy life before YOU. In Jesus' name, we pray to be those who will humble ourselves to be holy as YOU are holy. We seek to have the manifestation of the grace of God in our lives. For any Lord who have the favor to minister to others either through the pulpit, within homes, or on the street, we thank YOU for the light of YOUR graciousness toward us. We pray to not be those who would blow off an opportunity to give a testimony of YOUR goodness to us in the land of the living. We pray together for a unity with YOU and for truth of Your love that when we speak, people will see what is in our hearts. May people see YOUR word that is unfailing, dependable, and absolute. We pray that every testimony given will be with fire of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Grace. We pray also to be those who bring glory to YOU Lord. We are set apart for Your purpose and plan. We are to be different than that of the world. It is our desire today to live, act and think according to how YOUR Word directs us to live, act and think. May our love be that people will know as God's love that is merciful and always forgiving. May we keep our eyes on YOU, and not enter the path of the wicked and in the way of evil. FOR we do not want to eat the bread of wickedness and drink of the wine of violence. We believe our path of the just is like the shining of the sun that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. We give thanks for the Spirit of Grace, our comforter, our friend, and we loose Him now into our lives and every area we step into today. Have YOUR way Holy Spirit and we will speak boldly the things God has done for us as our testimony of faith. Amen.
