TRUTH on DISPLAY

True Christians recognize their dependence upon their Creator. They have every reason to express gratitude for God's blessings even within the communication which came by the sacrifice of Jesus and those, the true, will not desire to put Him off no matter what life may dictate!  Truly our desire should be to hear Him……..for it is by this grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, a decided plan and purpose in life for His glory was given by God's purpose for man! Within the influence of our Lord Jesus Christ, we maintain the walk which is the preserved from evil and is only good.

Responding to the love of God for us, we quickly receive His decided plan to do at the specific time, the specific place & toward the specific person. Jesus took on His assignment and saw it completed. He did not balk at God but carried a cross to a destined hill. In Jesus, we have redemption. Yes, we are the redeemed and we speak it out! We are the redeemed from the clutches of the powers of darkness. " Ephesians 1:7-12 NKJV  In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace, 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth---in Him. 11 In Him we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

God's plan is unchangeable!

We praise God for His blessings He has bestowed on us who have a relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of His great love! We give thanks for those blessings that are activated by the precious Holy Spirit our Comforter. Amen.

WE are Justified: It is one thing to believe that we are forgiven, cleansed & redeemed but it is another to believe that it is just as we had never sinned in the first place:2 Corinthians 5:20-21 NKJV 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Yes, God does not impute our trespasses to us. He put them on Christ. God's grace is now....and we are to enjoy that redemption given. God looks at us & sees His Son’s blood. Reconciled to the Father by the blood of Jesus, we live in His kingdom according to His rule of truth! We are made new and we are moved out of bondage from sickness, pain & disease!

We are the Sanctified: Each of us as a believer is now a special vessel set apart for God. It is only by the blood of Jesus that this is made possible. We can walk the straight & the narrow path because He made a way where there was no ways!

Matthew 7:13-14….NKJV  13 Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate & broad is the way that leads to destruction,& there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate & difficult is the way which leads to life & there are few who find it.

We must hear God’s word & abide in it that is, we apply it to our hearts for growth: Growth represents sanctification, which is the formation of God's image in us by living His way of life empowered by His Spirit. What we do with the seed is "work[ing] out [our] salvation with fear & trembling" (Philippians 2:12).

Seen is our growth when the sum of rain, sunshine, weeding, fertilizing, takes place in our lives. When those things occur, then the potential is great for fruit to appear. Sanctification is worked out through application, by living the doctrine, that Gospel delivered by Christ Jesus.

By the Blood of Jess, we have perfect peace. Colossians 1:19-20 NKJV 19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 & by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him whether things  on earth, of things heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

In our lives, battles appear, but the outcome has been determined on Calvary: "It was through what His Son did, that God cleared a path for everything to come to Him – all things in Heaven & those on the Earth – for Christ's death on the Cross has made peace with God for all by His Blood.

WE have access to the throne of God! Jesus' Blood made possible our complete reconciliation with the Father in Heaven. Covered now as in the Blood of Christ, we are like the high priest who was invited to enter the Most Holy Place –without being struck dead. We are reminded of this in:Hebrews 10:19-21 NKJV 19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new & living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil. That is His flesh, 21 & having a High Priest over the house of God.

The testimony is this: John 1 John 5:11-13 NKJV 11 and this is the testimony that God has given us eternal life, & this life is in His Son. 12 he who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, & that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

You and I have opportunities to testify to that Blood of Jesus Christ! In Christ's Blood, we receive life that death cannot conquer. Jesus has established a new covenant through His Blood, & He intercedes on our behalf to enable us to enter more fully into His Blood covenant with us:  Romans 8:34-36 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, & furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written; “For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

We partake by giving full worth to Christ’s redeeming work to this action. It is activated by faith, a trust in His redemptive work on the Cross. In that we partake in His full forgiveness and we receive full acceptance in Him, His full power is released to us in restoration, in strengthening us and in healing us!

In that Forgiveness, you and I have been forgiven through the Blood that Jesus shed when He gave up His life. "...Without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness" Hebrews 9:21-22 NKJV 21 Then likewise, he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry. 22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

Jesus introduced us to a new life to live in Him. He represented the kingdom of God sent by the Father. In Him, we enjoy life by His standard of living. In that we recover in health and breathe out for His glory a praise that others will hear! We bring it from the secret place we spend with Him. In that time we receive dreams, and we receive that which we thought was dead has now at this moment been made alive again. We find an existence that is made of His love. In His presence to hear Him speak we take account of the life given to make this moment possible to us.

I hear some today are experiencing “Ground Hog Day” every day, but for us, we praise God for His blessings He has bestowed on us who have a relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of His great love! We give thanks for those blessings that are activated by the precious Holy Spirit our Comforter. Amen.

We are walking in sunshine, we have our sights set for our future with our Lord and that future is a bright one indeed! Our belief is "right" in Him. It is always seen as living right in righteous behavior with righteous actions producing godly fruit!  Jesus told us this:Matthew 7:16 You will know them by their fruits. So yes, we will know others, those of the body of Christ by their fruits produced. It is within those fruits ones life will show what they believe.

Are our actions set for God or are we turning aside desiring God to also turn aside for our whims or what we are believing outside of Him?  Redemption was given in that purposed by God and it was for righteousness sake! And in that redemption we gained a new birth, we gained a new walk in the spirit and not by the flesh creature....and it is holy living by God's Holy Spirit ( Romans 8:1-14; Galatians 5:16-26).

We have been given weapons for proper use in this walk: 2 Corinthians 10:4-7, Ephesians 6:10-18 and Colossians 2: 6-10. You and I are to pay attention that we do not follow after deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. ( 1 Timothy 4:1) We are the redeemed to walk by faith with truth in the Lord.  As we deepen into the knowledge of the Lord, we do not discard it, but may we be truth on display. May we give detail to the kingdom of God, where eyes are opened, and false doctrine is stopped. May the internal beauty of Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith be seen for in His person is where the vital faith rests that guards us until that Day of His glorious return. Hallelujah!

Seasons

Voice of Prayer
1 Thessalonians 5:1-6  BUT concerning the times and the seasons brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us no sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

Seasons come and go. We watch with anticipation for the flowers first bloom, even when the temps are barely able to climb into the fifties. Then we watch for the rays to cast longer shadows for the lengthening days and by the fourth of July we expect to see the days grow shorter and the warmth to turn to a shiver that travels from the face and down our spine. It is most certainly the right time to reach for that jacket or even a hooded jacket to keep the moist off the glasses to see clearly while taking that "short" walk around the yard or the neighborhood!

In 1 Thessalonians 5, we are reminded to keep watch as the one who believes the Gospel, the one who belongs to Christ Jesus and not to give way to a careless attitude where one is unconcerned about the seasons. Keeping in mind to keep God's word and foremost for that instruction leads us through God's grace and to the light and truth.  Our security is to be in the Lord and not in money or things or even in other people! It is not be centered in what we do but that the Lord is in what we do!
Was thinking about people who prepared for their children to go back to school. For in this new year, the parent or parents make certain the child or children have new clothes that fit, new shoes to start the year off right and to have a good outlook on their school learning. Had seen these teenagers interviewed this morning on their way back to school within the Portland, Oregon school district today and one teen said he thought he should be back at school for he was bored at home!

A friend we have known only a few years has a little one going to kindergarten, and we do not see them really anymore for they live in another community some miles away. BUT she had posted the child's look for school and her smile on Facebook and the little one's face spoke volumes about her starting school. Am thinking that the child will do well in her new surroundings indeed!

Preparation is always important. The Lord will come as we see in verse 3. There will be people who will be destroyed. Now no one likes that talk, right? Yet the Bible is firm on it. For we are told those who put their trust into things will not have opportunity to repent. For truly today is the day of salvation, to repent and turn toward the Lord God. If we keep putting off God, then why should we expect Him to answer when the "destruction" comes?

The Lord will come and many will see His coming manifested. He will come when they are not expecting Him to appear.
In the flood, Noah spent some hundred years to build and then the drops fell from the sky. Rain came down of which no one had seen before ever. And people did not repent! They did not stop what they were doing to heed God and the warning!

Jesus will return. And the warning is given to us that we make the changes needed to heed His plan and not ours.
Suddenly, yes destruction is suddenly, and will happen.  As a pregnant woman, that woman in travail (those labor pains) will grown consistently till the child appears. So too, the Lord Jesus has spoken of His coming.  And for any event, large or small people like to prepare. As for going back to school, preparation is key to having order and provide the needed supplies your child may need to be instructed in that which will aid them as adults.
For the Christian, the believer, we too must be equipped and watchful.
To be sober-minded, we keep awake and alert to the devices of the enemy. There was an event of a hurricane that was forecasted to hit the Texas coast last week and people were gathering their plywood on Friday and the storm hit Saturday. (seriously if you can trust the news on TV anymore) I wondered why many took it so lightly and not get out while the getting out would have been good to do! We should maintain vigilance to watch and understand what the Lord would speak to us for safety and keeping close to His heart when alarms are being sounded!

I know not how people live on the coastlines like they do. And many certainly continue to build in the pathways of destructive storms. If you look at the maps of all the former hurricanes they surely made their marks to be read about decades later. Still people will build in that same pathway!
If I am the Christian, and am told to live in that expectancy, am I doing that?

As the parent prepared for the child or children to return to school, should not we hold that place of action and be active in character to keep the Lord our priority? Do we leave church, and go somewhere to indulge in a meal? Do we leave a prayer service and go indulge in something hidden with the dark of night?  (Well, I took care of God's thing, now I am doing my thing?)

Seasons most certainly appear. They come and they go. And being ready should be important to each of us. Observation to keep watch, is the action in full view of others, that Jesus is our Lord. He is Lord, morning, noon and night. He is Lord when we eat at a restaurant. He is Lord when we buy groceries or when we drop by to get those special cinnamon rolls our kids like to eat. Jesus is Lord when we retire at night.  The seasons, well they last some three months....and with that we experience the height and depth of a cold and icy season, the extreme of a hot dog day summer or the extreme of a wind of 75 miles an hour in the dark of night.
Whatever our lives, they should reflect the life which when looked upon could be seen in a 24-hour period in the full blaze of a well-lighted day!

Just like knowing preparation is important for your children to return to school in good form, so too, we should be well prepared with an expectancy that the Lord is coming for His church, the believer's. What we do in any 24 -hour period should be for full display that we belong to Christ Jesus, with no if's, and's or but's about it. Belonging to the Lord is speaking His language, knowing His heart always and being prepared when He says "move"!
And then do it!

I pray today for those living in Texas and the children going back to school. I pray people would know in Jesus' name that power of destruction and that we should know God who keeps us in safety when we chase after Him, seeking Him while He may found and knowing there is a day coming when the Lord will come suddenly. Will people be prepared to know His coming? Today Lord is the day of salvation and may people heed the call to repentance. We pray today for children returning to school and may they be in safety and protection. May they be far from gun violence and far from the angry man. May people come to know the Lord Jesus and move in the places He has purpose for them. May they truly know His love and be bound to His plan of good. Lord we are thankful for those who are the lines in Texas in search, in rescue, in clean-up and and restoration. We pray today for hearts to be encouraged and show us who we might help and send money that would be the most useful. WE BELIEVE FOR THE GOOD TO COME TO TEXAS AND MAY THEY RISE OUT OF THE DESTRUCTION WATERS KNOWING BETTER IS AHEAD! LORD THANK YOU FOR LOVE AND SAFETY IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING. AMEN!
