The first and last terrorist is Satan himself. He wants man,
woman and child to fear so that he has company in his misery. He magnifies your
every fault and failure. Satan has beheld the beauty of God, He has looked
directly and saw firsthand the ways of God. But he uses this for evil purposes.
He tried to stop his chief enemy: Jesus Christ. But to no avail, the
crucifixion of Jesus sealed satan’s eternal doom!
Isaiah 14:12-16 NKJV How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart: "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregations on the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High," 15 You will be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit. 16 Those who see you will look at you, and consider you, saying: 'Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms......'
It is pride that filled Satan’s heart with his series of “I will” statements in Isaiah 14. He was a beautiful angel and God’s anointed cherub, but when he coveted God’s position and led a coup against him, Satan didn’t just “fall”—God cast him out found in Ezekiel 28:12-17, Isaiah 14:15.
Today is the day of trouble. Just pick up any newspaper or
hear on those main channels their spin of the world: Psalm 27:5 He hides us in
His shelter in the day of trouble, and Psalm 50:15 we call on Him in the day of
trouble.
Revelation 12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. 2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. 3 and another sign appeared in heaven, behold a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns and seven diadems on is heads. 4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood. Before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. 5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And this Child was caught up to God and His throne. 6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God. that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days. 7 And war broke out in heaven, Michael and his angels fought with the dragon and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So he great dragon was cast out that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan who deceives the whole earth and his angels were cast out with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation and strength and the kingdom of our God and the power of His Christ have come for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives to the death.
The enemy is still focused on taking many with him. Yesterday heard of a town council meeting where the head guy pointed to prayer, but the guy who came up was dressed in black and prayed to satan, the major terrorist of mankind!
The fear of God :In
the waiting, we are exploring the new ways of worshiping and loving Him…to
finding the pathway to walk> Jesus had all kinds of false witnesses, and He
accomplished what His Father purposed for Him to do on earth. Our part is to be
active by faith to confess that which He placed in us to come forth and be
manifested. Jesus was active in
confessing His resurrection! Luke 18:31-33..&the 3rd day He will rise again, Matt 16:21, Luke
9:22, Matt 20:19! Jesus confess Resurrection: He would rise again!
See His Glory for Yourself: Honor Him Who will Lead YOU through the darkness. We are not entitled and have no entitlement. That is a worldly virtue. God is Good and He is HOLY! Joshua certainly asked something of God: Joshua 5:13-15 NKJV And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. & Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are YOU for us or for our adversaries?” 14 So he said, “No but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to his servant?” 15 Then the Commander of the LORD’S army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.”
The evil of the devil is rearing his head for popularity. He
wants fame and he wants it for more than any 15 minutes of time! And it is
anything of evil that he spreads around this world. But Jesus came to set
captives free! Jesus our Savior and Lord leads the way triumphant.
2 Corinthians 4:4...whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God should shine on them.
We magnify You our Lord and Master. For the Word of God
speaks is alive and full of power---making it active, operative, energizing and
effective; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing
line of the breath of life (soul) and [ the immortal] spirit, and of joints and
marrow[ that is, of the deepest parts of our nature] exposing and sifting and
analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. (Hebrews
4:12 Amp.)
We contact Our Shepherd. We put Him in remembrance of His
Word ( Isaiah 43:26 ) We hold His Word
up to Him in prayer and our Father sees Himself in His Word. That Word does not return to Him void----without producing
any effect, useless---but it shall accomplish that which He pleases and
purposes and it shall prosper in the thing for which He sent it. ( Isaiah
55:11)
Isaiah 55:11-13 NKJV 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the things for which I sent it.
For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains
and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the tress of
the fielded shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the
cypress tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; and it
shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut
off.
And a grateful heart will speak: Thank you for love everlasting, love
unconditional, and never failing love:
24 Now to Him who is able to keep us from stumbling, And to present us faultless
Before the
presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
25 To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen. ColossNKJV
Thank YOU that we know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that we might be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19). Thank YOU that we may know YOUR love, and How vast YOUR love truly is! We will not perish for we have everlasting life through YOUR Son Jesus, our Savior!
One of the best blessings in being a believer in Jesus Christ is the peace that rises above every life situation. While others are fretting with worry, believers have the power of the Holy Spirit to guard their hearts and minds with peace that has no human explanation. Having peace allows believers to continue to go through hardship and painful situations without regret. The key to having peace in our hearts is surrendering all our prayers to God and trusting in Him to take care of each one.
The heart is set on heaven: “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God” . Colossians 3:1 If then you were raised with Christ seek those things which are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things of the earth.
When our hearts are set on heaven, we can rise above the problems of the world and in our life. We can look to the heavens and know that our God lives and moves all around us. Setting our hearts on things above releases us from the bondage's of materialism and seeking after selfish gain. We are moved to live with a heavenly destination in mind at all times. The key to having a heart set on heaven is stepping back and realigning all of our desires with heavenly gain in mind.
The heart is motivated to work: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” (Colossians 3:23).
There is a greater desire to work if the focus remains on God and not on man. As long as we live to please man, we will forfeit the greater purposes of God for our lives. We must strive towards a life of working as to God knowing that our reward rests solely with Him. The key to a heart that is motivated at work is grounded in the knowledge that God is in control.
And is our heart healthy? Just as the body can’t function well without a healthy heart, neither can the Christian with a spiritual heart—we will be sluggish in our work, hard at hearing God’s word, and slow to recognize His presence when we are not active spiritually. The consistent disciplines of the Christian faith of prayer, Bible study, and fellowship will keep our spiritual heart’s pumping strong towards our eternal destination.
We have been specifically told to be on guard against the schemes of the devil and make sure we always wear the full armor of God. If we could bind Satan, then we could all relax, sit back and hang up our spiritual armor in a closet. But we know from reading the Scriptures that assumptions (like convincing ourselves that we have successfully and permanently bound Satan), attitudes (of relaxing and imagining that Satan is bound when he’s really still causing havoc) and actions (like putting our unnecessary spiritual armor in mothballs) will only result in great spiritual disaster.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Should we rebuke Satan? During his earthly ministry, Jesus rebuked the winds and the raging sea (Matthew 8:26), demons (Matthew 17:18), a fever (Luke 4:39) and his disciples (Mark 16:14; 8:33). However, the only account of Jesus addressing or rebuking Satan is when he was being tempted in the wilderness for the third time. Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.” Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him. (Matthew 4:8-11) The only time Jesus ever told his followers to rebuke anything was when he told them that if a brother sinned to rebuke him (or her) with the goal of the person repenting and finding forgiveness. "Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him" (Luke 17:3).
There is no biblical support for Christians to pray to rebuke Satan. So let’s stop doing that. We cannot bound Satan to hell. If we could, we could put away our armor we are told to put on!!! Are we supposed to talk to Satan to rebuke him? The best Bible passage that gives us a strong principle to follow on this question is found in the book of Jude. Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones. But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you.” (Jude 1:8-9)
When a dispute arose about the body of Moses, Michael the archangel did not rebuke Satan. If he had of done so, it would have been considered presumptuous and railing a blasphemous judgment. Would not we be guilty of the same if we tried to rebuke Satan? Why would any believer attempt to go beyond what a powerful angel dared not by speaking to and rebuking Satan or his activity? The archangel was content to say, “The Lord rebuke you.” Let’s adhere to this lesson on humility and submissiveness and not go beyond our authority by trying to rebuke Satan.
In case you were wondering: there is only this account in the Bible of Satan being bound..... is when in the last days an angel from heaven tosses him into a bottomless pit for a thousand years. Until that day arrives, Satan will be our formidable opponent, so let’s make sure we proactively and obediently suit up in the armor of God each morning and keep alert in prayer as we seek to proclaim the gospel of Jesus to the nations. Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. (Revelation 20:1-3)
Practical steps to take when dealing with the harassment, temptations and chaos Satan may throw our way, is understand that every mishap, affliction or problem in our lives can not always be attributed to the work of Satan! Sometimes things just happen while there are other times when we or others might be the cause of our troubles, stress, or pain. Let’s not jump to the conclusion that every bad thing that happens to us is the result of a fiery dart of Satan. ( But man is born to trouble as the sparks fly upward. Job 5:7)
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8
Always remember that you through your faith in Jesus that you are a child of God. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
What has been 25 years since the attack on this nation, it was in that moment of time, men of evil decided among themselves to attack a nation. They decided to take down the twin towers and among those other building as well within that area of the east coast in New York City and in the state of Pennsylvania. Yet, men and women stood up that great hour to stop what they could to shield others from the evil attitudes of men from a foreign nation. They are terrorists and today they are flaunted as the victims.
I have heard that some have no regard as to war on Terror, yet without the armed forces those against us would have no walls to prevent them from doing harm to those who live in this nation that I call home! For us in America and those older than thirty would know the men and women who fought in World War 2. Some were taught in school about that war that was kept far from us. Yet, I heard recently of something that had occurred in that state of Oregon and yet I never read it in a book. Yes, it evidently was kept silent. But some young children were to go out on a field trip being it was early spring one year. One such child was kept home that day, because her mother had this heaviness of heart that her daughter should not participate in this adventure. She knew not why, but she held her authority as a parent her daughter would not be there that day.
The children had come to the place where the field trip was to begin and the leader was there. As children can sometimes do, they ran ahead of their teacher and leader. Although he, the pastor told them to wait on him, they ran yelling all the while ahead of him. And then it was a sound pierced his hearing. An explosion shook the ground and as the pastor ran to where the sound came, a horror struck him to his core. The children were all dead including his pregnant wife . The bomb sent somehow from Japan had made it to American soil and it blew as the children investigated it. It was May 5, 1945 and the headline of the local paper revealed six had been killed by the balloon bomb. It was in Lakeview, Oregon where this event occurred.
Freedom is never free and it will always cost you and me something. No matter whether we hold a political affiliation or not, whether, we only stand as conservatives with a belief in our personal responsibility, where limited government is seen, that the traditional American values and a strong national defense is acquired and continued, we will still see those times when haters appear. This is to be a place where men and women can operate in business participating in free markets.
But when one group
decide they want to lead the world in anarchy, to put others into bondage and
reveal the dictates of their hearts, then you find anarchists and friends of the
Final Terrorist!
