True Government is Kingdom Justice

Chaos or Divine Order: YOU CHOOSE
The only government that works is the kingdom Justice that came through Jesus Christ. If the word is “get rid of Christians”, then there is only chaos, for they carry His presence and they pray for those who do not know Him.
So when seeing chaos, do we remember the chaos in the beginning and what God did?

Just look at the beginning when the Holy Spirit hovered over the face of the deep in Genesis 1:1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the deep.

Chaos ruled and then God spoke. And chaos came into order, and the mess became a garden. Planets were formed, and the sun began to light the earth. Stars covered the night time sky and waters began to be filled with all kinds of marine life.  What God spoke was an approval for the earth to produce and it produce!

As in the beginning, chaos is transformed into or by a process of life and order!
Order came when God spoke it into being!
Proverbs 11:1 Dishonest scales are an abomination to the LORD, But a just weight is His delight. Proverbs 16:11 Honest weights and scales are the LORD’S; all the weights in the bag are His work.

From Proverbs 16:11 His work refers to His concern! In the days of Solomon, weights and balances were the way purchases were made. They were to be accurate in measuring the weight of an item that was being purchases or sold.
So in dealing with material things, we are to deal in justice with man to man.

In this understanding that God never cheats anyone. He is not a man who lies, but He is God of righteousness and truth.
But those outside the justice of God will bargain with anything to gain the advantage over another person. They will offer free stuff to you but their heart is not with you. To deal accurately, one should have the fair priced fixed and never be changed on a whim nor by a circumstance!  So those who deal accurately will obtain that place that is honest and transparent in their dealings. But those who  wheel and deal just to make a windfall will make deals, but they are the empty deal and they are of the falsehood that has no life to it.  The 'wheeler dealer' who takes advantage of another will never gain anything by deceit. What does the scripture say: Proverbs 23:5 Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven.

Setting one's heart on riches can and will make that one look like a fool. Our eyes should be set on Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2) Making God our goal, we receive benefits and they never fly away. When we see God as our answer, then we are those who look to His wisdom in all decisions to be made.

It is in God we find that justice and those who live by faith find that pathway.
Seeking God's justice is seeking His mercy. And mercy only comes from God and hopefully by the man or woman who have Jesus as Lord of their lives. Jesus came to relieve the oppressed, to judge the fatherless and plead for the widow.

Jeremiah 22:15-17 NKJV 15 “shall you reign because you enclose yourself in cedar? Did not your father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him. 16 He judge the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Was not this knowing Me? Says the LORD. 17 Yet your eyes and your heart are for nothing but your covetousness, for shedding innocent blood, and practicing oppression and violence.

Character is certainly seen when one practices violence against another, that is to defame one without cause and kick them to the curb like they are an animal. That is not justice from God. That is justice that comes from the rebellious one. It is for 'me, myself and I' and looks to exalt oneself and make the other person look bad.

An example: I remember a doctor, my husband and I met years ago. He had no manner in dealing with the patient.  Our daughter as a teenager had gone four-wheeling with friends of my husband from his workplace. Our daughter suffered an accident when something happened on a dirt road . She was headed toward a barb-wired fence and jumped from the four-wheeler and in the process, she injured her back.  The attending doctor was pushing and shoving on her back that seemed out of place and wrong at the time. He caused more pain and discomfort than that which the accident had imposed upon her. He seemed more like he was punching a punching bag than caring for the person before him. He asked not questions, he only proceeded his probe of injury!!

Another doctor who was our child’s pediatrician was a good doctor, knowledgeable in childhood diseases and surgery and had the ‘bedside’ manner that represented a caring heart for others. We saw this when she had an appendectomy at age 12. He cared for his patient and understood the child's thinking and motivated her to relax in the healing process. He encouraged her that fun times were still ahead and the appendix would not be there to aggravate her anymore.

God’s justice is the justice that comes through His mercy. It is His righteousness that is the action of His mercy. As we have seen from the two examples of the doctors in their respective roles: the relief of the oppressed and needy, so too God’s justice is His kingly power. The difference seen in the two men are apparently different. One was caring, and one was not. For one doctor, it was about the patient and the other was not!

But God in His justice never changes. In His rule, our God’s justice is joined with His mercy. He is just! Isaiah 45:21 Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, a just God and a Savior; There is none beside Me.

Psalm 7:17 I will praise the LORD according to His righteousness, and will sing praise to the name of the LORD MOST HIGH.
God is supreme God and He is righteous. He is righteous in His judgments and justice.
Psalm 140:12-13 NKJV 12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the poor. 13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; the upright shall dwell in Your presence.

Psalm 94:14-15  NKJV  For the LORD will not cast off His inheritance. 15 But judgment will return to righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it.
Psalm 103:6 The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.

While working on this, I thought of this scripture in Proverbs 23:7 As a man thinks in his heart, so is he; Eat and drink! He says to you, but his heart is not with you. For certainly our thoughts should be those that the Lord thinks of us and we should meditate on them and speak them daily for He has only positive things to say about us! We should not allow Satan to use our spirit as the garbage dump by mediating on negative things that only he can offer!

In Mark 9:43-48, we are reminded of the garbage dump in Jesus’ day. In this passage Jesus was warning of the severe consequences of endangering the immortal soul of another person. Whatever part of our person offends us to sin then it is better to cut it off and live in pain than to spend eternity in fire and damnation.

If we as the doctor, lawyer, janitor, mail carrier, the mayor, the surgeon, or even the trash collector, do not treat others in justice, then God is not present with us.
If  the doctor only offers to med-up the 'patient' in the latest medical wonders, then that could be addictions that is not needed medicine for our body. He is not with you in health of your body.
If the lawyer asks you to sue someone, and take them for everything they have, that is stealing. And his heart is not with you but in 'money' matters!

If the mayor looks the other way when injustices are done to any agency within that governing county and community he sees over, then said mayor is operating out of his own desires and interests and not the righteous ones seen in and though God.

If the mail carrier decides to not deliver the mail on his route he is dishonest and not responsible to fulfilling his commitment to the actual work required at his job. If he throws all that mail into the nearest ditch and goes home to watch television or play video games, his heart is not with you. He will not deliver "your mail" so that you might receive that water bill and possibly that belated birthday card a family member sent to you. That 'water bill' goes unpaid and you never know of the sweet sentiment of the relative who sent the card unless they ask you if you received it.

If the surgeon operates on the wrong person and takes out their spleen and they had no problem with their spleen, the surgeon was not active in his duty to perform the right procedure on the right person at the time. His heart was not with any patient that day. He was overtaken maybe pride or too many other things going on in his life like his wife is divorcing him, his grown son has moved to another country, his daughter has chosen to not finish high school and his insurance premiums are sky-high because of oversights in the hospital surgery department!

What causes injustice is what causes one to rebel and that is sin and the desire to please themselves. Justice is being and acting like God would act in any situation. And His government is on His shoulders. Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice, form that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Those who are the ‘redeemed’ of the Lord know Jesus as the ruler of their hearts. His reign is a health to them. He is prosperity, happiness and peace. They hold the banner of victory knowing God sent Jesus into the battle and He came out victorious for us. He is our justice who brought us wisdom from God that is in exhaustible, the Truth and the Way which guides us daily into our future. He leads us by His Holy Spirit down the path which is well marked with His presence, His peace and love!
Yes, true government is Kingdom Justice and it begins with that saving grace. No matter your ethnicity, no matter where you live, God is only the way to life and through Jesus we have life and justice. And without it.....well, it is empty, that futile place with wars and rumors of wars, violence and hate! Let us abide in Him and pray for the justice to roll down like a river for the nation and see God's kingdom come to us in the way He expects us.....to cooperate with Him and His purpose. Amen.

Overcoming Flaws in our Character

Are we the lovely garden or more like the impassable swamp?
The course or path is set before us. Christ made the way and He made it clear. He is the way, the truth and the life. NO one comes to the Father except through Jesus. (John 14:6)
We must go to Christ and receive that forgiveness as "the forgiven sinner",  and offer our lives to Him by faith. By that grace of God, we are enabled to overcome all the flaws in our character.

John 8:28-29 Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as my Father taught Me, I speak these things.
Jesus ‘ behavior was drawn directly from God the Father.

We find this spoken by Paul the apostle:  In Ephesians 4:15-16 Amplified Bible:   . . . rather let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love....let us grow up in  every way and in all things into Him who is the head [even] - Christ -(the Messiah) the Anointed One 16 For because of Him the whole body ( the church, in all its various parts),  closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] working properly [ in all its functions] grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.

Properly understood, we thrive in the right place when the ground is cultivated, weeds and rocks are removed and the ground made ready for plants to grow strong and have a life of beauty! As the garden takes work and much time, so do we as the born-again believer grow and become what God intended!

In this regeneration of the old man into the New Man, we receive Jesus as Lord and then tend to that garden of His word tilling it into our hearts. With daily work in mind, we remember too that it takes time to get that growth that is revealed in a harvest of God's love for others. Being edified, we are strengthened internally. Our heart is groomed with the words of faith that strengthen the daily walk through this life!

There are traits of the worldly walk that many of us have seen in that we walked the way of the world before being saved by the blood of Jesus. Those traits are summed up in one word: futility. What makes up futility is emptiness, no purpose for life. The second is that it is alienation from God. The third is they reside in darkness with no understanding of Him or His love. The fourth is ignorance of His ways and that ignorance is a hardened state or hardened heart! The fourth is this: an unfeeling state. They cease to care. They do not value anything that has life!

While working on this was reminded of a song done by Don Henley in the 1980's 'Dirty Laundry". It was given in the lyrics as living off the evening news. It voiced a kicking people when they are up or when they are down!
Overcoming the flaws in our character is to live and love others as Jesus did! He neither gossiped nor kicked someone when they were down. If they were leprous, He healed them. If they were blind, He healed them!

Looking into God's word, we find illumination of that which God requires, we also find what the instruction is, and then we are to apply it to our lives. So it is to be a constant and yes, close communication with Jesus our Lord to see as He sees. And in this we find His grace, that ability to discern those 'flaws' and overcome them.
When thinking toward what God requires, I always think of Cain and Abel. You have two brothers with two different ways of thinking. You have Abel who viewed God's way the right way to live and obeyed God with the right sacrifice that God required. Then you have Cain who viewed his way the right way to live. And he refused to give the living sacrifice God required, but gave from his field that he had planted. He was doing things to suit himself and not God!

Instruction for our character is given by God throughout the Bible.
Proverbs 13:15    NKJV  15 Good understanding gains favor, But the way of the unfaithful is hard. I like the Amplified Bible's version of this verse: Proverbs 13:15 Good understanding wins favor, but the way of the transgressor is hard [ like the barren, dry soil or the impassable swamp].

Good understanding is important to what is true and to live by it. Today we have the example of people living by their wants, that is, their desire is empty and without any beauty to it!
WE can teach the word and minister it or give it to the youth so they learn to live by it. But you certainly would not let them, the youth, lead a corporate business with 3, 000 employees without that ability to do it. God's wisdom is important for us. But there is the process of allowing His word to have its way in our lives and to live by it that when we move into a situation, our character should be one of beauty and not a hazard looking for some place to happen!
Faithful to teach others, and faithful to live by that same word will create in each of us that which opens doors of opportunity.
You may know a really smart person who may know without a doubt the workings of many creative programs for an internet program but they may have the 'potty' mouth that pushes others away. They may represent themselves as the 'be all' for that kind of creative process.

Our daughter had a friend in high school who had bought an older car, but he really desired to have it painted. His parents refused to help out in that department and even though he worked at a job outside of school, they still refused to help him. He came to us and asked if he might borrow the money just to paint it and help keep it from rusting. We had known him for awhile and spent time talking with him and getting to know his heart. He was faithful in his job and faithful to go to school. He was smart in his schoolwork and he had no 'potty' mouth! To my husband and me, it seemed fair to do to this for one who had a heart to make it better.
He got his car painted and began to repay the expense. He is the example of one who was consistent in learning at school, doing his homework, keeping his job for that paycheck, and was showing the characteristic of the responsible person who lives and works with a consistent behavior.

Proverbs 13:16 Amplified Bible Every prudent man deals with knowledge, but a [self-confident] fool expresses and flaunts his own folly.
These are those who flaunt 'free love', marry on whim, and then divorce a short time later. The 'fool' certainly speaks his mind and will yell it out by interrupting a formal meeting. Everything they have a mind to speak will be given out whether others are ready for it or not. The self-confident express with many words. They talk too much!
It is like they vomit on another person by the built up hate and bitterness they guard in their hearts.

Proverbs 10:19 ESV states: when words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.
And Matthew 12:36 ESV states this: I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak.

We will give an account of every careless word that we speak. We are to grow up into unity with Jesus Christ. May we put on the behavior that is merciful, and tenderhearted.  For it is in gentleness and patience that you and I have the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper. Maturing is fore bearing with each other and if having any grievance with another person, are readily active to pardon each other. The Lord has freely forgiven us, so we also must forgive!
Cautious should our speaking be, may our words be what Jesus spoke. It is He who should be seated on throne of our hearts. [ WE ]Let the word of Christ dwell in [us] richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in [our] hearts to the Lord.

Father, today we pray in Jesus name to be that person YOU desire us to be through Your word of Truth! We believe we receive that life You desired for us from the very beginning of time. We are thankful for Jesus and His sacrifice on the Cross that we would live together with You God in harmony that is a beautiful sound.

We truly desire to not appear as the one who airs their dirty laundry in public! We desire not to appear as the impassable swamp or un-tilled ground that clearly portrays the ruin of wickedness and sinful behavior, but is that which is holy and upright life that our Father has blessed to us in His grace. WE by faith receive that life that is seeking Your counsel, valuing Your wisdom above gold and silver. And we believe to never stray from from hearing You when you speak. It is in Your design and plan that we have confidence that YOU our Father has called us to eternal significance.

Today, we are contacting YOU the Author and the Finisher of our faith and put this Word into motion. This Word will not return void, but will accomplish where it is sent. We are totally leaning on YOU and learning of YOUR wisdom, drawing on Your strength and filled with Your quietness……that is bringing the required results we believe to be in unity and harmony with You our Father and in unity with believers. May we have the character that makes the ‘sound of symphony’ to the Lord and appear as the beautiful garden that brings glory to the Lord.

Did YOU Know God wants You to READ

God gave us the way in learning of Him: By reading His written word!
Do we ever consider that when Moses led the Hebrew nation out of Egypt and out of the hands of those who would hold them as slaves, that he, Moses met with God for forty days and then he, Moses brought down the 10 Commandments?
The language written had 22 characters, not thousands of characters. God made reading easy for He wanted us to know how to read and yes write. HE desired us to know Him by His words of truth!

When considering other nations, and the "other gods", did those other 'gods' have a written language that one could learn quickly? Still God thought of us, He had us on His mind. Well yes, He did think of the 'apple of His eye first', but we came in, right? We have been in-grafted into the vine of Jesus Christ. John 15:2 NKJV  Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
Jesus tells us in John 15:1 that He is the true vine and the Father is the vine-dresser! So would it not be a good thing to abide where growth is seen and where one lives as the family of God with Him?

Today there are so many graduating students from high school who cannot read nor can they write or spell accurately! The statistics are off the wall to the amount of young men and women who cannot get into college because they have not the basics of learning that was their heritage in this country. We live not far from one city who has in the past five years have graduated students who had not passed their math exams and really needed to take summer school but school officials chose not to allow them this luxury. WAS it just a financial thing in regards to paying the teachers a salary for two more months? Still, the point is why did they, the students, not learn to read in the grades of second through fifth grade where it is needed to set the foundation for a good education?

Oh yeah, they took God out of the schools and out of their government. Yet God thought it important that His people know how to read and how to learn, so as not be ignorant nor be reliant on another person to tell them the news of the day.  God led them through to hear and hear and hear. Yet in all that, there were some who complained themselves into their own demise. They died in the wilderness without ever seeing that 'land of promise'.
And if we rely on someone else to tell us the news of the day and hear the wrong report of a bias nature and then heed that wrong report, well certain death is coming because of the belief in something false! People die for a lack of knowledge! Their dreams may die because of the wrong information or of the false information!
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge I also will reject you form being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
There is one God and one Savior! There is one way to the Father and that is through the Son Jesus Christ. There are no other pathways, no other means by which one is saved. (Acts 4:10-12)

Question: "if one can not read, and know what is truth, who will they run to...? maybe the one with an agenda for their own purpose or to show how smart they are but they only have the wisdom of the smart cell phone that carries worldly knowledge from say the internet or other?"

Proverbs 19:20 Amplified Bible 20 Hear counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction that you may be wise in the time to come.
Proverbs 12: 1 Message Bible If you love learning, you love the discipline that goes with it----how shortsighted to refuse correction!

I remember in my younger years a young boy who had trouble reading. But the teacher never gave up on him, and she always told him the importance of reading. As he got older, he became confident in his reading skill and became a good student. It did not happen over night, but for him change did come. Each succeeding grade and teacher would work with him, not to make him a joke but work with him so that he would be a someone who could read and who could learn.  His name was James and he always seemed to be late and always had his shirt tail out of his jeans but when he learned to read and gained some skill in his other classes, it showed! Everything about him changed for the good!

Hearing counsel is important but we should hear the right counsel and not because they are our best 'bud'!  Counsel we seek is to hear the news without other's opinions and speculations. We are to seek God's counsel and He leads us by His Holy Spirit to that which is true!

Without counsel of the Lord, we live haphazard lives. Without knowing how to read those very words puts us in the hands of the enemy. We must know what has been written for us to know the kingdom of God and how we are to operate in it by faith. We must know those words Christ spoke to bring that light to us.
You and I are to be rooted in the same language of grace that had come and as His people we should see and hear of His presence, His life and His power. It is with reading the Bible, we gather God's wisdom and relate it to others by His love. In this we maintain a walk to see and experience more of Him and His love in our very lives.

It was on purpose that He wrote the 10 Commandments, and we should not shun that truth. He wanted His people to know Him, not by slavery or by the over-exertion of power but by knowing Him face to face.  He wants us to come willingly to hear and to know Him personally. Let us learn to see things as God does and adopt His Word as our only STANDARD!
Reading of Him, is desiring to live in a knowledge where grace is seen and we influence others. It is not by yelling, stealing and demanding entitlements, but it is realizing that you and I must have truth to live for God through His grace in ability that brings Him all the glory.
Thank YOU Father for bringing the alphabet to your people.
