Chaos

What degree of chaos do we look to see where we reside? What decides that amount of chaos? Is it of God or the enemy?

Chaos is found in the first chapter of Genesis. This is not that which God makes over by rebuilding and making new. This is when studied has the nature of two beings. Chaos: Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

In the Dake's Study Bible: in the Hebrew the word is tohu va bohu meaning a waste and empty ( Jeremiah 4:23) The earth was not created tohu in the beginning ( Isaiah 45:18) but became tohu because of sin. Satan was cast out of heaven. So here between verse 1-2 we find Holy Spirit hovering. He was regarding the blackness of sin.

In truth chaos began here. In this we call the Bible should be referred to as the War Manual written by God Himself! If you have time to search out these two verses you will find that the Hebrew words were not submitted but held back. In this without form and void is one beast of the system and the second is marked as the darkness. But this is an evil darkness here. And the One who can rid this world of it is a Shepherd with a staff!

This darkness is evil and is filled with confusion, hate, and anger! In this we find Leviathan and Behemoth.  The spirit of Leviathan attempts to keep us from entering the Holy of Holies, into the very presence of God.   No man could go there except Moses and the High Priest; and then only once a year.   This is the third veil, and Leviathan does not want us there.   This third veil was rent when Jesus died on the cross.   This was the veil between the Spirit-filled realm and the very presence of God.   Here Leviathan stands to block entrance.

The spirit of Leviathan attempts to snuff out the lamps (knowledge and understanding); cut off the bread (the manna); and he tries to keep us from offering up daily incense (prayer in the Spirit).   He does not want us to move in the Holy Spirit; to have words of knowledge, speak in tongues, or any other spiritual gift.   He will choke us off with spiritual deafness and blindness, causing us to be tongue-tied.   Leviathan will imitate the Holy Spirit and cause false gifts, healings, and even miracles to manifest in the believers.

Out of his nostrils goes smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron (His nostrils belch forth smoke, thick as the fumes of a seething pot.).     Job 41:20

The smoke from Leviathan nostrils is false prayer and false worship at the altar of incense, and he is commissioned to counterfeit the genuine Pentecostal experience.   Because the person is so bound up with pride, he cannot really praise God.   He is too important, too bound up in himself, to give any real praise and worship to God.

His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal (His arrogance and haughtiness stems from the tight sealed scales covering his body.).   Job 42:15

Leviathan's scales are so close one to another that no air can come between them.   The scales are joined one to another and cannot be pulled apart.   In scripture; air, breath, and wind are synonymous with the Holy Spirit.

The reason many people get so shut in is because of the effects of Leviathan's tight coils around them, inhibiting the moving of the Holy Spirit.  They cannot hear or discern the Holy Spirit, and they say they never get a word from the Lord or move in the gifts.   The reason is that no air of the Holy Spirit is able to get in because this demon has such a strangle hold.

The spirit Leviathan wants us to have the counterfeit; and if we get that and are satisfied with it, he has us.   Leviathan in the pastor, teacher, evangelist, etc. charms or hypnotizes the people, and they are deceived and seduced into believing they are operating through the Holy Spirit.   Today, many are experiencing counterfeit gifts.   Many are requiring deliverance from false, error filled ministries.   Increasingly, deliverance ministries are having to cast out spirits of false tongues.

One of Leviathan's chief jobs is to mock, come against, and block deliverance and/or deliverance ministries.   Most people who fight the deliverance ministry have powerful leviathan demons; and are, therefore, rarely delivered.   Many of the ministers who refuse to open up to the ministry of deliverance are being controlled by a leviathan spirit.

The reason pastors, teachers, evangelist, etc. accept leviathan's lies is because they refuse to believe that they may have demons and are in need of deliverance.  It's not a 'shame' to have demons, the shame is not acknowledging, repenting, and getting rid of it through deliverance.   Instead, they teach the people 'Christians cannot have demons'.

The 'true' deliverance of God is casting out demons according to Mark 16:17- 18:

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;  .  .  .  they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.    Mark 16:17-18

The Bible says that if we do not love the truth, God will cause us to believe a lie.   The only way to get rid of the demonic influence of Leviathan is to 'cast him out in the Name of Jesus'.

Leviathan stops spiritual growth in people.   They cannot pray or read their bible.   They go to sleep during services.   Whenever there are severe problems with bible study; concentration on spiritual goals; restrictions and bondages which hinder worship or just about anything which is genuinely spiritual and of the Lord; there you will find Leviathan operating.

Depending upon how much control Leviathan exerts over an individual, he can and will hinder and/or stop bible study, genuine edification of praying in the Spirit with understanding, heartfelt praise and worship, fellowship with the Lord's people, and any revival movements.

One of the immediate blessings resulting from the expulsion of Leviathan is a radical apparent in outlook and the whole approach to the spiritual growth process.   Many report a clearing of confusion and a great increased ability to read and retain the Word.

His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone (His heart is as hard as a rock; solid and unyielding as a nether millstone.).    Job 41:24

Leviathan's heart is said to be firm as a stone, hard as a piece of nether millstone.   Here, hard and cold heartedness are tied to Leviathan.   There is no compassion, grace, or mercy.

In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him (Strength dwells in his neck and terror dances before him.).    Job 41:22

The neck speaks of the will. Are you known to have strong-will?   Stiff-necked pride and stubbornness are with Leviathan.   Sometimes strength in the neck can be a negative thing, because Jesus spoke of the stiff-necked and uncircumcised heart.   The bowing of the neck is rebellion, which brings us back to pride.

The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved  (The folds of his flesh close in on each other, firmly and immovably cast upon him.).    Job 41:23

We are descended from Adam; and therefore, easily affected by pride.   This is why Leviathan is so strong, powerful, and deeply rooted in us.   The fascination with the forbidden, feeds Leviathan who wreaths himself tightly in the old self.

Can thou draw out leviathan with a hook?   Or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down (Can you draw out the wreathed sea-serpent, the dragon, with a fishing hook?   Or his tongue with a rope snare)?     Job 41:1

Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out (Flames shoot forth from his mouth, bright as a burning torch).     Job 41:19

His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth (His very breath will set coals aflame, and fire leaps forth from his mouth).     Job 41:21

Tongue problems are rooted in Leviathan.   When he gets in the church and looses some of that fire, he sets the whole place ablaze.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.     James 3:6

The Leviathan spirit carries the very nature and works of the accuser of the brethren.   The first way that this spirit will attack is with his tongue.   The lying, critical tongue: this spirit attacks out of his mouth with lies, gossip, accusation, criticism, faultfinding, and slander.   He wants to slander your character and bring reproach on your name.

Leviathan is working today through the body of Christ; and we see many churches, ministers, and organizations bringing accusations against one another.   There is a critical, faultfinding spirit at work in churches today judging and speaking against moves of God, ministries, and denominations different from one another.   If you're a quarreler, contentious, always arguing with people, your problem is pride and the spirit of Leviathan.

He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment (He makes the deep to boil like a pot: he makes the sea foam like a pot of ointment).     Job 41:31

Leviathan makes the deep to boil like a pot: and the sea foam like a pot of ointment.   This brings us back to self again.   The deep is where the real you is located.   There is a deep in me, and I'm very careful about who I let in there.

The Leviathan spirit will cause that deep to boil.   There will be a restlessness and turmoil, a constant agitation, deep inside.   Sometimes you cannot sleep well because there is something moving around, boiling in there.   When we get down to the real, true self, we are where Leviathan has his stronghold.   Also, note that this boiling is not only in you; but that it also stirs up other people around you (the sea).

Leviathan can come in to strangle your experience in God in such a way that you can slumber for years without notice.   Many in the church today are asleep spiritually; and God says, "It is time to wake up"!

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.     Ephesians 5:14

Another area where Leviathan works is in causing a variety of learning difficulties for youngsters, especially reading problems.    Leviathan is the source of confusion and lack of ability to retain things we hear and/or see.

Often pains, stiffness in the neck and shoulder region, and headaches located in the back of the head have been traced to Leviathan.   Although this is not the only source for such discomfort, for problems of this nature, check for Leviathan.

Behemoth is found in the book of Job! He eats grass like an ox. His strength is in his loins. ( chapter 40 verse 16) He is slow moving creature found in Job 40. You cannot as man snare him. Jesus is the righteous who does this. And it is coming soon for all to know about! Only God's sword will take him out!

Submit yourself therefore to God.   Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.    James 4:7

You can resist the devil all day long, but there must first be submission to God if you are really going to be free.   You must say, "God, I'm going to have to break out of this pride and become submissive to You.   I humble myself before you and ask for your help."   This is the starting place to overthrow pride.

Seems like so many things are happening at once: like the fire taking out most of Nebraska. It has burned almost a million acres. How about the Meteor ( 7-ton) hitting Ohio? Viewed from a dash camera, you can see this size of this burning rock coming to earth? How about flooding in Hawaii not one but twice in a week? They are getting what amounts to three months of rain in a day! 52 inches of snow fell in Michigan.  Eight tornadoes in Illinois and earthquake in South Carolina. Or how about the meteor that broke the sound barrier in Houston Texas falling into a person's home? Talk about fire and ice....wind with snow making for those whiteouts!

The Good News is that Jesus is both the Answer and the Deliverer.   We know that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus.   May we all humble ourselves before God and root out all pride for the destruction of Leviathan in the Name of Jesus.

EMPTY WORDS OR USEFUL WORDS

I STAND IN AWE READING ABOUT THOSE EMPTY WORDS!
Ephesians 5:1-14

5:1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. 3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; 4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.

8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says:

"Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light."
NKJV

We are not to  be deceived. Empty WORDS are bad!
The main thought though is for us to WAKE UP! Awake you who sleep, arise from the dead and Christ will give you light.
Imitating God is good, right? In that I walk in love that Christ has loved me and you with. When they mention that disobedience in verse 6....that is "unbelief".
So they are talking about those in "unbelief". They do not have any belief in God.

In the latter days as in reference to the Tribulation time, we are reminded that many will turn from the belief or trust in God. There is a day coming when many will turn from the "faith" in God. We are to "know" His Word. We are to hear "his heart speak" to our hearts. We should be infused with the Holy Spirit knowing that in Him, we move in power of God. Standing in right standing with Him, we are those who have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. We are to expose them for what they are: the work of the enemy.
Filling our hearts with His Word declares we are the victor in the day to come. We stand as those who have an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Jesus Christ will light you with His glory, and darkness dispelled means you have peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. That LIGHT is making visible everything you must see clearly. No more stumbling in the dark. We choose wise words that the Lord has directed us to. Our path is clear and is seen. It is where the hilly becomes level. The weary become the rested. Finding Jesus is the best thing possible. The yoke is easy and the burden is light. Amen. Matthew 11:28-30)

Fairy Dust and a Wand or Power and Great Strength

I have written on Deborah before: the Judge in Israel:
She was the strong! According to the Hebrew calendar, she lead Israel in 2654-2694. She went into battle written in Judges 4:6-9. See Blog: Appointed by God: Deborah, the Prophetess (published 9.19.14)  Then we read of Queen Salome Alexandra who reigned in Judea from 76 B.C to 67 B.C. Who was considered a political leader and skillful mediator.

And then we come to hear of this woman God makes mention of in the book of Acts. Her name was Candace, Queen of the Ethiopians. Well, I had started work on this today and was intrigued how God works. I happen to turn on TBN and Pastor T.D. Jakes was on. And who was he mentioning: Queen Candace of the Ethiopians!

Upon rising early this morning rain drenched morning, I was thinking the importance of praying the way Deborah, the Judge in Israel prayed for her people. The "mother" was praying for all the people in Israel. Well I had some information and some teaching before hand on these women, but it continued to grow. And while meditating on the Word of God, I wrote down about 2 1/2 pages of notes for the blog today. (3.11)

In regard to women in the Bible and those who held a great position intrigue me!
People truly like those who can work those great "exploits" while serving a people and God, and I always wondered how they could do what they did and LIVE!  I am certain many women will question as one gets to that place, and I am one as well who has thought on these matters, too! From the Bible, those exploits for God count for an eternity! It comes from knowing God!
Looking into those from the Bible, at the time of Queen Candace and the Ethiopian being mentioned, I remember that she regarded Israel highly and  had much respect for their God!

Acts 8:26-41..............26 Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, "Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza." This is desert. 27 So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, 28 was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, "Go near and overtake this chariot." 30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, "Do you understand what you are reading?" 31 And he said, "How can I, unless someone guides me?" And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 The place in the Scripture which he read was this:

"He was led as a sheep to the slaughter;
And as a lamb before its shearer is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
33 In His humiliation His justice was taken away,
And who will declare His generation?
For His life is taken from the earth."

34 So the eunuch answered Philip and said, "I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?" 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?" 37 Then Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." 38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. 39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea.  NKJV

Now I had you read this passage, but what we look on is that which has to do with the eunuch.

From this verse 27 ............Philip was told to rise and go to an area... and....it was on this particular roadway from Jerusalem to Gaza. And in this verse he (Philip) finds a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians. This man had authority (charge) over all her treasury and he had come to Jerusalem to worship.
Yes, the Gospel had reached the ends of the earth.....and that the nation was being pointed toward God and salvation through Jesus Christ.

In thinking of their skin color, they were the darkest.........but they had been given Jesus. They had been given God's grace. And many thought it was wrong for salvation to come to them. But God is no respecter of persons. He loves all people and all lives matter in His sight!

Looking further into their backgrounds and how the Queen took her stand next to the king.........I like what T.D. Jake said today on his teaching:"She was no Barbie doll." And I had wondered what kind of queen could stand in those days with a true king! The women who go to battle with the men in this country of Ethiopia would be regarded for their strategy and experience in the "front line" if you will. In some cases that chosen 'queen' could be one who could lose an eye because of the up close and personal fight! Still, one in the lineage much like "Pharaoh", a Candace would come and stand with a "king". These women were known as the "warrior queens".

When Alexander wanted to take all of Europe...( you know he wanted to have authority over the whole earth)!.......Alexander the Great met with Queen Candace and he decided when he saw her riding on an elephant.........that he would NOT try to take Ethiopia. He backed down when he saw her on the big creature!

No, she was no "doll" of any kind. But she was a one of kind who is mentioned..........and did they not receive the good news?   In what I had put down for notes early this morning, my thoughts were on last night at church, praying for the activities this spring and summer to reach the youths and teens, and praying for the youth who will be adults in the future. They are our future!
We, as a group gathered and prayed............for the young children and those we are destined to have contact with and in that I thought of Deborah and those who played parts in praying over countries and leading others to Jesus. She was called the "Mother in Israel".

As in the culture of the day, most movies today will include some kind of supernatural. They have "magic". They have the sparkling blue dress, the crown on blond hair, and fairy dust sprinkling all around in the air............falling to the floor beneath their feet. Then, alas, I think of the eye shadow I had gotten to wear on my eyelids...........just a little color, if you please. Aah, but the glitter in the shadow........and then it is in my eyes and then I rub them. AND then the pain sets in, my eyes are bloodshot. PLEASE NO FAIRY DUST HERE!

If we give our youth, and teens fairy dust, blue gowns, and magic wands, and they think their lives will look like that, then when will you speak truth and tell them, "they may not be the queen with the crown", they will not have magic wands to make everything better when all hell is breaking loose against them. For giving them those things and so early, I saw pain on our grand-daughter's face when I asked why she did not want to be the brunette in the fairy dust movie and she said" because the blond wore the crown" and "she wore the pretty sparkling and fancy gown"!

Matthew 6:19-21..........19 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. NKJV
From the scripture above we see that which is built on having a shallow beauty of the outside of one being revealed.
Those kind of things are built on the promises given by a broken and fallen world. They will only break more hearts, bring about those broken dreams with no castles and no hope!
But our hope is to be in Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:1-5
5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.  NIV

For where do we place our children to stand, "in the world" under the leadership of the adversary we know as the devil? Yes, those things can be "oh so cute" and fancy fun, but what about those kids who now think they have to be blond to have the great beautiful gown?
And I think of all those young boys...........that their vision is on "the far away galaxy"...........Wow! So what about the here and now, the present time, are we placing anything in them to move forward other than with a "light saber" or a "space ship" to leave the 3rd Rock from the Sun? Some of those things are just for a moment's time, but what have we placed in them that will take them into the exploits for God and into eternity?

I am then drawn back to the prayer Thursday night, and where do we place our children and those who are "our future". Lord, help us to pray for them, and then show us how to give life to them that presents the Queens like Esther, the prophets like Deborah who desired the good for them, for the future of a strong nation without fairy dust, and without "light sabers"!
In prayer today, I am calling out those "warrior queens" who stand with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! I am calling those out who have the strategy of the great queen in battles. For our children are at stake right now. The devil desires their souls.

We read about Deborah in Judges 4.
Judges 4:4-24
4 Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was leading Israel at that time. 5 She held court under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites came to her to have their disputes decided. 6 She sent for Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali and said to him, "The LORD, the God of Israel, commands you: 'Go, take with you ten thousand men of Naphtali and Zebulun and lead the way to Mount Tabor. 7 I will lure Sisera, the commander of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his troops to the Kishon River and give him into your hands.'"
8 Barak said to her, "If you go with me, I will go; but if you don't go with me, I won't go."
9 "Very well," Deborah said, "I will go with you. But because of the way you are going about this, the honor will not be yours, for the LORD will hand Sisera over to a woman." So Deborah went with Barak to Kedesh, 10 where he summoned Zebulun and Naphtali. Ten thousand men followed him, and Deborah also went with him.
11 Now Heber the Kenite had left the other Kenites, the descendants of Hobab, Moses' brother-in-law, and pitched his tent by the great tree in Zaanannim near Kedesh.
12 When they told Sisera that Barak son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor, 13 Sisera gathered together his nine hundred iron chariots and all the men with him, from Harosheth Haggoyim to the Kishon River.
14 Then Deborah said to Barak, "Go! This is the day the LORD has given Sisera into your hands. Has not the LORD gone ahead of you?" So Barak went down Mount Tabor, followed by ten thousand men. 15 At Barak's advance, the LORD routed Sisera and all his chariots and army by the sword, and Sisera abandoned his chariot and fled on foot. 16 But Barak pursued the chariots and army as far as Harosheth Haggoyim. All the troops of Sisera fell by the sword; not a man was left.
17 Sisera, however, fled on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, because there were friendly relations between Jabin king of Hazor and the clan of Heber the Kenite.
18 Jael went out to meet Sisera and said to him, "Come, my lord, come right in. Don't be afraid." So he entered her tent, and she put a covering over him.
19 "I'm thirsty," he said. "Please give me some water." She opened a skin of milk, gave him a drink, and covered him up.
20 "Stand in the doorway of the tent," he told her. "If someone comes by and asks you, 'Is anyone here?' say 'No.'"
21 But Jael, Heber's wife, picked up a tent peg and a hammer and went quietly to him while he lay fast asleep, exhausted. She drove the peg through his temple into the ground, and he died.
22 Barak came by in pursuit of Sisera, and Jael went out to meet him. "Come," she said, "I will show you the man you're looking for." So he went in with her, and there lay Sisera with the tent peg through his temple-dead.
23 On that day God subdued Jabin, the Canaanite king, before the Israelites.   24 And the hand of the Israelites grew stronger and stronger against Jabin, the Canaanite king, until they destroyed him.
NIV

In Judges 4:4-7.....Deborah gives him the strategy.  In detail she gives him the step by step. But verse 8 tells us that he would not go unless she went.
And of course, the rest is now history. For this all came into the hands of a woman. The honor went to another.

She sings in Judges 5 a praise to God. She praises those who willingly went into battle. She sings from her heart of those who offered themselves willingly among the people. And in 4:12, we find this:
Judges 5:1-3...........1 Then Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam sang on that day, saying:

2 "Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves. 3 Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes, I , even I will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel." KJV

"THEN SANG DEBORAH AND BARAK . . ."When leaders lead in Israel, when the people willingly offer themselves, Bless the LORD" (Judges 5:1, 2).
This verse 2 is revealing praise to be given to the Lord.
An area such as this with such dark oppression, do we not see it today?

Then we find that reason for giving such praise:   The Lord had avenged Israel. In looking at the  Hebrew word for avenge, we can find it meant "to break or set loose by delivering from oppression." Deliverance from the oppression and bondage of the enemy is always cause for praise to the Lord. Right?
Working with God's plan and giving Him praise gave the time of their being loosed.  The captives were set free when they "willingly offered themselves."
They were the "willing" without any manipulation. As His child, we should be oh so prompt to obey!
We are to live by faith and that faith must be rooted in God!

Those who do exploits will "know " their God. They will hear the plans of strategy and move in praise to Him that He is the leader, the ONE who rules over our hearts.

FROM APPOINTED BY GOD: DEBORAH, THE PROPHETESS:
I believe she was sent to protect the children of Israel from the violence of the Canaanite king, Jabin. He was a man of violence who was cruel to all he came in contact with during those harsh and formidable years in Israel.
In scripture we find located in the book of Proverbs 3:31...." to envy not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways."
The "oppressor" being the man of violence. In the world today, our children should be nurtured in a lifestyle of the pure, the peaceable, the gentle, easy to get along with, and yes full of mercy. From James 3:14-18 the description of wisdom spoken about is to be without hypocrisy, without any partiality and full of good fruits.
If we are introducing our children and yes, grand-children into an oppressed lifestyle, we NEED TO STOP IT NOW! I, too, have found I need to change the channel and get if off the show with guns ringing out, guns used to harm another person, guns that depict violence in this world. I for one must change the channel to something along the lines of peace for our grand-daughter to see and enjoy and not to be scared out of her wits.
Deborah, stood as wisdom to declare God will deliver the land from the oppressor.
He will deliver us from cruelty, oppressive people, and those who inflict brutality on another person.
But who of us will take the stand to do that? Or who will fight for our children and grand-children and see violence come to an end?
Psalm 73:6-8 says, "therefore pride compasses them about as a chain; violence covers them as a garment.....7 From their callous hearts comes iniquity; the evil conceits of their minds know no limits.
8 They scoff, and speak with malice; in their arrogance they threaten oppression. NIV

So from scripture it appears, that violence has many faces!

If a man, woman or child have the hardened heart, and are consumed with lying like verse 7 declares, then the man, woman or even the child will speak with the malice, and exhibit a brutality towards another person.
When a person speaks with malice, they speak to do evil, to take revenge on another, and they have this deep-seated meanness and hate. Those who have put on the garment of violence speak with arrogance, and they usually have the prideful self-importance in their behavior around others. They bully others to announce their unhappiness and to declare themselves to be number "1". It is in this arrogance of bullying they threaten to bring cruelty, brutality and destruction by physical force.

Sound familiar? Seen that lately on the evening news?

Deborah the Judge, became the "mother in Israel" the mother who watched over God's children in Israel at a time of injustice, of violence, and maltreatment. In the verses describing the sad condition of those in the country at the time, the oppression of the people and distress was due to their sin in idolatry.
We allow our children to watch violent movies, and play games that initiate violent force on another and then we wonder what is going on in our streets!
We are certainly not to make provision for the sinful, the oppressive things in our homes or even our schools and sport activities. We saw the oppressive king described in Judges. God sent Deborah to stand strong for her nation. Can we do as much? Are our children worth the price to see violence come to an end in our cities, and in our homes?

Let's lead our young girls and young boys into God's plan. Speak truth to them and deliver their souls. That is protect them from things they should not be watching and adhere to for their safety's sake. Let us be those "warrior queens" who will prevail in prayer for our kids in this nation that is to be the "the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. God created this nation and still has His plan for it! Let's stand together, rally around our youth, whether they are red, yellow, black or white, they are still the Precious in His Sight. "Awake, Awake",........"Awake, Awake, utter a song"............give worship and praise to God and walk toward leading those who have been captives. Stand with the King today, and give voice of praise in your home, in your neighborhood and in your city. Raise your voice for ears to be opened and eyes to see that have been blind, for our children to come out of bondage and be a fire for God in this generation and in this hour. Amen!

I dedicate this to my daughter Candace and all those who pray for the youth and seek their good. I dedicate to those who are the self-less like the Tina's who give of themselves to serve others. I dedicate this to the "pastors" who give of their time and energy to touch children's heart that shows in their day to day life without regard to themselves.
May this bring glory to God and to those who show themselves the willing to go in HIS NAME. AMEN!

FLINCH

THE meaning of Flinch: to jerk with nervous movement
to  shudder
In the Strong's concordance: sug...(soog)....means to backslide, backslider, turn away, turn aside, move away from............and the primitive root is; properly, to flinch........to go back......and as they put it in translation is "to retreat." In the Exhaustive Concordance......is to apostatize........to abandon, turn away from God
In the Englishman's Concordance is listed as :(5472) and has 14 occurrences. (Psalm 53:3, Psalm 78:57, Zephaniah 1:6,  and of course Proverbs 14:14.

So looking into this word, finding "Flinch", I thought of the card game. It was in 1963 that the card game was brought back ....by Hasbro. And it was a game indeed of twists and turns, when playing with people who desired to win and do it quickly. It is numerical, it is played in sequence and it is never over quickly. Just go ask anyone who has ever played it!

Proverbs 14:14 says this:
Amplified Bible.
The backslider in heart [from God and from fearing God] shall be satisfied with [the fruit of ] his ways, and a good man shall be satisfied with [ the fruit of ] his ways [ with the holy thoughts and actions which his heart prompts and in which he delights].

2 Thessalonians 3:1-5
3:1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, 2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you. 5 Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
NKJV

If we continually walk into the love of God and into the patience of Christ, I believe there would be no backsliding, no Flinch ever, in knowing God and His love. Ah, but the optimum word here is perseverance as Christ had in His walk.

In referring to the game Flinch, the object was to get rid of all one's cards. Each player was to receive 10 cards faced down, and that was their stockpile. The dealer then would deal out five more cards and they were the "hand" cards. Each player viewed their hand cards......then another group of cards was dealt out in "five's". The player then turns over his/her top card.......places it in the middle of table....and must be a number "1" and so forth around the table. If the 1st player played a card other than a "1" like maybe a "2"....it is placed in the middle........face up for all to see. Then everyone plays their turn, but ultimately a "1" must be played at the beginning.

Then next player goes........and has to place a "2" on the "1" on the table. If the card not used and is placed with face up, then it should be used as the game continues, and if the owner of the card fails to recognize it's time of use, the other's will yell "Flinch".
Yes, it was about order, maintaining cards in the Stockpile, in your hand and what others were putting down. There was a lot of talking, lot of sweating, and some nervousness. One would speculate they would win with no doubt.  I remember playing it a few times and then I was done with it! No one should get so worked up over a card game, right?
Monopoly was not even a thought I would consider ever. If I had to play with my Mom, she always wanted Park Place and Marvin Gardens. She had such strategy and usually had the "get out of jail" card always in hand! She was a real champion in playing that game for certain.

Our knowing God is a lot like that. In respect to having Jesus as our Lord, we are given His Word and His thoughts. But do we heed them. In playing any action type card game, even like Yatzee, one needs the full attention on the card game at hand. Any player can change the whole game and move in a total different direction!
So, we must know that what we do in accordance with other believer's will certainly change for the "good" when we are all going the same direction, right? If our heart's thoughts are of the.... good man shall be satisfied with [the fruit of ] his ways [ with the holy thoughts and actions which his heart prompts and in which he delights].

Can you imagine being prompted by your heart that is good and which we can delight for the "good"?

In seeing the power of God's Word in our lives it can keep us on the straight and narrow road (pathway) we are to walk.  So, our focus is to be on God and hold in that position. It is about knowing that God's Word will run swiftly and be glorified, when we look with the eyes of faith.
For we see from Proverbs 14:14, that of the one who flinches and moves away from God....is abandoning God. He no longer holds God in reverence. No not a good place to be in when knowing someone like Him and of His love and mercy that gives comfort and then move away from Him.

2 Corinthians 4:11-18
11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death is working in us, but life in you. 13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak, 14 knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.   NKJV
In 2 Corinthians we are told not to lose heart. If we have "believed" we are to tell others, remain in the Word, and other's often of God's faithfulness. But if we ourselves do not walk in faithfulness to another, how can anyone know what it looks like, right?

In seeing the power of God's Word in our lives can keep us on the straight and narrow road (pathway) we are to walk.  So, our focus is to be on God and hold in that position. It is about knowing that God's Word will and look at that which concerns those "later days" which seem to be occurring right now. In Jude 3-4 we are told about apostasy.

Yes, Apostasy is mentioned in the Bible, and it is recognized as that which leaves the doctrine of truth and follows heretical teachings, and abandons their faith in Christ.

Jude 3-4
3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.  NKJV

Certain men who have crept in, are those who will lead others into apostasy and away from God and abandon Jesus, the Savior.
These are cunning men, much like a lawyer would be in a court of law. An attorney is one appointed for another pertaining to legal matters and/or business matters.
Another definition I saw was this: one legally qualified and licensed to represent a person in a legal matter that pertains either to a transaction or lawsuit.
But this person works against God in the area of God's Word. He twists it to suit his own lust and ambition. This person views he has his license to practice in God's name. But he holds none of God's thoughts or purposes.

Paul referred to those cunning men who crept in......according to 2 Corinthians 11.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.  NKJV

So Paul gives a clue into what one will look like. We see then, a person who is like satan, transformed but still creeping around and into places, to give their thinking of the ungodly under the guise of a righteous person. Paul is teaching that Apostates will still look good on the outside. They are not wearing some devil suit! Titus wrote this:
Titus 1:15-16
15 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. 16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
NKJV
And the Amplified says this: Titus 15-16.....To the pure [ in heart and conscience] all things are pure, but to the defiled and corrupt and unbelieving nothing is pure; their very minds and consciences are defiled and polluted. 16 They profess to know God [ recognize, perceive, and be acquainted with Him], but deny and disown and renounce Him by what they do; they are detestable
and loathsome, unbelieving and disobedient and disloyal and rebellious, and [they are] unfit and worthless for good work (deed or enterprise) of any kind.

Continuing with Jude:

Jude 8-15
8 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!" 10 But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

From verse 8, the apostates are the "rebellious" and ignorant about God, from verse 10 they have corrupted speech and critical overtones.

12 These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 13 raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. 14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."  NKJV

Jude 16-19
16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
NKJV

From verse 16, they are the grumblers, the complainers, walking to their own lusts. they speak with arrogant words, verse 18 Mock God, verse 19 worldly minded and they DO NOT HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT!
Some speaking in arrogance are of a haughty spirit, they are the self-important, and puffed-up!

1 John 2:18-20
Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. 20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.   NKJV

John told us this in 1 John 2:18-20 "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us."

But we have an anointing from the Holy Spirit.

We should be coming out against apostasy! The Lord gave me this so directly to write about and I am determined to pray that all apostasy will not advance toward the "saints of God". We must pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
We are to be the willing, to stand against such grumblers, complainers who will mock God at any turn. The Bible is straightforward in truth...........and if we will not stand against apostasy, what does that make us? For many saints could be in the pathway of that which creeps in silently, like a snake, and sounds good, but is the twisted and becomes the perverse, making demands in their own natural way of thinking and doing which has nothing to do with God!
Galatians 6:7
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
NIV

Unlike the card game, the Word of God always directs us to His plan of redemption for all. It is in and by His love for mankind. That card game goes back into the box as does the Monopoly game. When every opportunity is played and time has come and gone, all goes back in the box. It is played in our efforts and our own plans. If Jesus lingers on His return, we will all enter a box. We will be put away. Like that game, anything of skill or strategy goes into a box and will be forgotten till time to play again, if that time arises to do so. How we acted and what we regarded as truth will determine our outcome.

We are to ask the Holy Spirit's guidance and direction in every step, in every day  calling on His wisdom so that we continue to move and have our being in Him. For if it is not in Him, then you or I are ruling our own life! If Jesus is Lord, then we will know His hands formed us in those moments of hearing His Word. We when recognized the refreshing and the being filled by Him. We will know His hands that walked us through torment and trials.  For after all the refreshing and the molding of His hands in who we are becoming, we will inevitably go through the fire. We will know His hands that delivered us and will take us to glory. We will know His hands that hung His body for all to see, and in that pain, through bloody, torture and inhuman arrogance against His person, mankind was saved. And it is in His hands that He will continue to lead us home.
Psalms 111:7
7 The works of His hands are truth and justice;
All His precepts are sure.    NAS

In reading any documents, any writings on the Word of God, anything that has to have your signature on it, always pray first for the Lord to lead you away from the "false". Ask Him to lead you by His Holy Spirit and to reveal anything that has been twisted and given as lies against Jesus and His Father, our God of heaven. Ask Him to show you what lies are against His holy Word of truth!
Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ. Amen.
Keep awake and watch, for our Lord's return is growing near.
