What Will We See in This Day

Seeing that which is life within our day is seeing future for tomorrow! What we receive in our hearts determines whether we receive God's truth or man's words and dark wisdom! Will we see with the eyes of faith or that of unbelief?

What will we see in this day?

Luke 24:13-35    NKJV 13 Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem. 14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened. 15 so it was while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. 16 But their eyes were restrained, so they did not know Him. 17 And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk are sad?”

18 Then, the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him, “Are YOU the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You have not known the things which happened there in these days?” 19 And He said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, 20  “and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death and crucified Him.” 21 “But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened. “ 22 “Yes, certain women of our company who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us.” 23 “When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angles who said He was alive. 24 “And certain of those who ere with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said: but Him they did not see.”

25 Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!” 26 “Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” 27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

28 Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther. 29 But they constrained Him, saying “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went into stay with them. 30 Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.

32 And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” 33 So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, 34 saying, “ The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” 35 And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.

The resident in our heart is the Lordship of Jesus. An entire Bible gives the Beginning and the End! Jesus came to spread the Word: Him manifested to declare God and His glory. And present is the Holy Spirit given in Acts 2:4. Those present within that prayer time were filled and spoke in languages they had never spoken before. Holy Spirit is the "Breath", the air we breathe. The same God who breathed into Adam is the same God who raised Jesus from the dead. And is He Who breathes into us and activates us when we speak His words! There are several appearances of Jesus. And who saw Him, who experienced His presence after the crucifixion?

It was Mary who told of seeing Him in the garden: John 20:11-18 NKJV 11 But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. 12 And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 13 Then they said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him." 14 Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, "Woman why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?" She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, "Sire, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away." 16 Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to Him, "Rabboni!" ( which is to say Teacher). 17 Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me for I have not yet ascended to My Father, but go to My brethren and say to them. "I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God." 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, that He had spoken these things to her. There are several appearances of Jesus that occurs. Other women, either on their way back to Jerusalem or on their way to Bethany tell the disciples that they too met Jesus on the road. Their response was that of wonder and yes of a joyful worship! Will we see Jesus on the pathway today?

We have seen that of Luke 24 where Jesus taught the two disciples and brought revelation where the Scripture had to be fulfilled. Here in Matthew 28, Jesus is seen, and gives instruction to rejoice!

Matthew 28:9-10 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice”! So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. 10 then Jesus said to them, “do not be afraid, Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.”

Yes, instruction is important to us. And when we are active in receiving the Lord’s instruction, we see Him! For instruction is seeing Him and hearing to obey: Marks 16:17 And these signs will follow those who believe: “In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues, 18 “they will take up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.”

Knowing Christ Jesus is Knowing His name and He Who lives! It is not the name of the media, nor show host that gives words importance. Nor is it the name of some billionaire, or a great city, but it is the name of Jesus that we speak. WE Speak Jesus for His is living and active. He is the Word made flesh to dwell with us. And the Holy Spirit is on the scene and ready to breathe that life into you and me. Daily we are to speak, not that of dead men’s words but those that are words of life about Jesus and the Holy Spirit Who has come! Purpose was before them! And purpose is before us and we must allow the Holy Spirit His way in our lives.

I had thought of this passage in Ezekiel. It speaks of when there is no hope as when our bones are dry, when all seems lost and there the people are cut off! Ezekiel 37:11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!

Let us look at: Ezekiel 37:1-14 NKJV  The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He cause me to pass by them all around, and behold there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.

Yes, these bones were so dry, the man or woman would not rise to live. They are in pieces!

3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.”

The prophet is telling God that it is only He can know if they will live!

4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, “O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones, “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 “ I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the LORD.

& So I prophesied as I was commanded and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them. 9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man and say to the breath ( breath of life), ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Come from the four winds, O breath and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath (breath of life) came into them, and they lived, stood upon their feet, and exceedingly great army. 11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!” 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, “Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, O My people I will open your graves an cause you to come up from your graces and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O My people and brought you up from your graves. 14 “I will put My Spirit in you and you shall live and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the LORD have spoken it and performed it,” says the LORD.

God the Father told Ezekiel to prophesy to the dry bones. He commanded them to listen to the Word of the Lord! Creation is moaning and groaning and waiting for the Word of the Lord to bring forth what God purposed in Jesus and in us.

But manifestation cannot appear till the sons declare the Word of the Lord! It's time for YOU to arise and declare what God is saying to this generation! Ezekiel prophesied and the faith was released. There was a great noise. When faith rises, things shake loose in the heavenlies and in the earth! The Holy Spirit is in action moving!

As the Bible says in Haggai 2:6, "For thus saith the LORD of hosts; 'Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land...'" As we look throughout the world, things are being shaken, but don't be afraid! It is all a part of God's plan to bring forth restoration, restitution, and revival for His people! Look to your nation and people and do they not need some shaking? We need to be awakened to God, awakened to His Word and allow the Holy Spirit to breathe in us and that which we have created for His glory and His praise.

The word that Ezekiel began to declare brought forth God's manifestation, but it was incomplete because there was no breath in the regenerated bodies. You can see this in much the same way of that creating and visions of churches, of ministries,  of families and even in businesses, but they will not be complete until they are filled with the breath of the Spirit!

It was God who thought of this land we live in. It was God who has purpose for it. We speak His divine word of life over it. We release the wind of the Holy Spirit for future. From Moses to Elijah, even to the Day of Pentecost, the winds of God have all played a part in bringing God's will into the earth! The wind of the Holy Spirit is destiny for that purpose, power, prosperity, and passion! Habakkuk 2:4 “Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith.

That “ shall live” is (chah-yah) to live …to stay alive; to be preserved, to flourish, to enjoy life, living in happiness, to breathe. To recover health.

Be the “prophet” in your life and family. Prophesy God’s words. God speaks through pastors and teachers. He brings what is needed in that week and within that moment. Are we hearing and obeying what the Holy Spirit reveals to our hearts from the passage that is given to us?

We must understand that there are times the prophetic word is for correction and confirms that God knows what we have been doing in secret. Scripture tells us that what is done in darkness shall be brought into the light, and that which is done in secret shall be shouted from the rooftops (Matthew 10:27, Mark 4:22). It is the prophet's place to speak when God calls upon him or her to minister in a prophetic word of correction. If the prophetic word is received, the rebuke can bring comfort, exhortation, or edification.

Of God in you will be made known. What is not of God will also be made known. Sin certainly wants to hide and stay quiet so as not to bring anything about the Lord, but they will certainly display all kinds of pics of their parties and adventures to places angels would dare to go!

What part will you play in these end days? Holy Spirit can bring His wind to have change come. Jesus is our Cornerstone to set the right foundation. We must have the Scriptures opened to us. We must see them as representing purpose for God’s glory and praise. Because we can organize and order certain projects or plans we are the "busy ones", but without the breath of God on them, they will lie as in a coffin. We must have Holy Spirit movement that is rising and doing: the alive, the hopeful, the fruitful. Because without God, we are without hope. For this nation and others around the world, the only hope is from the breathe of God and the power of His written word spoken over it! Amen!

Spiritual Worship

In Philippians we are told in the third chapter to rejoice in the Lord. we are told to beware of dogs, to beware of evil workers, and beware of the mutilation! Meaning those born again unto the Lord are circumcised in our hearts and as such we are to worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus and to have no confidence in our flesh.
It is the Holy Spirit Who is to be invited into our daily life and Who is involved in our worship. We make room for Him. It will have the sounds of exalting Christ Jesus, will have God-honoring words and praise and will appear as the true worship the believer participates in. And it is the Holy Spirit that will reveal those who operate in evil ways that may be before us, but He leads us in the way we are to go!

Psalm 71:8 Let my mouth be filled with Your praise and with Your glory all the day.
Psalm 71:14 But I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more. 15 My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness and Your salvation all the day, for I do not know know their limits. 16 I will go in the strength of the Lord God; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only.
Psalm 71:22-24 Also with the lute I will praise You---and Your faithfulness, O my God! O Holy One of Israel. 23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You, and my soul, which You have redeemed. 24 My tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long; for they are confounded, for they are brought to shame who seek my hurt.
Psalm 69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
Psalm 69:34 Let heaven and earth praise Him, the seas and everything that moves in them. 35 For God will save Zion and build the cities of Judah, that they may dwell there and possess it. 36 Also, the descendants of His servants shall inherit it, and those who love His name shall dwell in it.

To way to keep our eye on the inheritance is our eye is to be on God: Matthew 6:33 - "Seek first the Kingdom of God." For God's word will protect us when we put it in our hearts.

Two things that can come to harass is that of being in debt and the other is within the worship of the entertainment industry. The one with debt worries constantly how to pay their bills and the other one like entertainment can lead you to wrong thoughts and certain wrong actions.

Commentator Adam Clarke writes: Man is anxious over worldly cares with the delusive hopes and promises of riches. This causes man to abandon the great concerns of the soul and seek in their place what he shall eat, what he shall drink, and wherewithal he shall be clothed. It is the dreadful stupidity of man thus to barter spiritual for temporal good - a heavenly inheritance for an empty portion.

In recent weeks I had come across this prayer and it mentioned in the opening introduction to pray the person should not be impulsive in behavior, for those who live by impulse will never have time to pray. Certainly what is appearing before us on the world stage requires some prayer time. And the best one to hear is not our best buddy nor best girl friend but God Himself. We should seek Him, think on Him, take Him by His great hand and walk through prayer with so that you and I may hear Him speak to us.

Just heard a teaching this morning and the pastor taught of the importance of when lying down to rest at night one was to pray to ask the Lord something that would help us to live accurately and we could see and hear to do that thing  upon arising in the morning!

So as we head for bed at night, we should thank Him for the day completed. It may have not be perfect, but certainly God has us in this moment for His glory. As we start to close our eyes, we are to give Him praise of His greatness as we rest in His goodness. In His love, declare what your heart requires to know for the day coming. Pronounce Him wonderful, powerful, loving, peaceful and living! Give lips to His praise where trust is revealed in Him and much adored, give lip to your request for tomorrow, and that you will know it.

Then in the morning, you should hear scripture revealed in that quiet voice. You could see your day unfold like a map before you and just what you asked may appear , but most important than that is that however He responds is that He loves, and He is life that gives truth of Himself in each thing we ask of Him. He may speak quietly of having "patience" in the day! That means do not rush to get to work or to that important appointment or meeting but leave early enough to not make the wrong decisions and choose short-cuts!
He may appear to speak to you as you read from Scripture for the day! He could give a clear instruction into what you asked in detail. May we not be too busy to have no time for prayer.  We are set apart from the world, not be the confused but the enlightened ones who prefer HIS way of being and doing in every moment we live for Him!

In 1 Peter 1:13-21 NKJV 13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober & rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15 but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conducts, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” 17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish & without spot.                                                 1 Peter 1:20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead & gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Jesus was manifested in the days of Matthew, Peter, John, Mark, Luke and many others like Paul. And He was manifested for us, to be those who would believe in Him, to live in His grace and be a reflection of Him to those seeking light and life. As God's grace daily influences our hearts then we can live a life of gratitude knowing of all that was given to the a life of spiritual worship to Him.

In this conversation, we use our mind which has understanding, insight and meditation but also involves that reflection, perception and the gift of apprehending with the faculty of thought! The Holy Spirit renews our mind for a new change, a new walk of life from living as in fear and among fear mongers to living with the positive mind quickened by the Holy Spirit in our spiritual mind. And this spiritual mind desires willingly to converse with God!

We will meditate on His goodness: Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.  But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. (Matthew 6:31-33)  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)

Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.  I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.” (John 10:27-29)

Throughout the day and into the night, when we lie down we will not fear or be in dread for our Father never slumbers nor does He sleep.(Psalm 121:4) We sing for joy upon our bed because God sustains you and me. We lie down in peace and safety and are not afraid. Our sleep is sweet for He gives blessings to us in our sleep. Because we have made Him Lord, we know He guards our way. And when we rest our eyes for the night, He is on duty. He speaks to our heart, reveals His plan toward us in the day where justice is seen at noonday. (Psalm 37:6) When we intentionally commit our plans to Him daily, we wait patiently and we walk by faith to hear Him give direction.

” Hebrews 13:5…we keep our life free from loving things of the world….

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. ( Isaiah 43:2)

We are the protected! We remain in His perfect peace when our minds think on Him. ( Isaiah 26:3) We reflect the Lord Jesus Christ as we are His workmanship created for good works. God has prepared beforehand that we should walk in those good things. We are certainly the sheep of His pasture, we hear His voice and we follow Him for we will not follow a stranger!

Father, we thank you for the words of eternal life (John 6:68) We speak as we heard You speak in the Gospels. We will not perish because You will not lose one of Yours. (John 17:12) we are thankful for this life in You and that You will never leave us nor forsake us; You will not leave us orphans. We live as the sons & daughters of God Almighty. As You have made Your home with us, tonight we hear as we rest. We hear Your voice speak Your love and Your plan into our hearing. We hear and understand. We are not confused nor are we hesitant. You are God who redeems, heals and delivers and You will deliver us into the exact place we are to be for Your glory in Jesus' name.

May we glorify Your name. May we speak boldly of Your goodness and speak of Your splendor. May we complete the assignment You have given us to participate in with You. We are appointed for this lifetime for Your glory and to Your praise because we were created for spiritual worship!  We give You much thanks and love. Amen.

Abandoned to God or Relentless Love for the World

Psalm 100:1-5 NKJV Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! 2 Serve the LORD with gladness; come before His presence with singing. 3 Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the LORD is good; His mercy endures to all generations.
We are to make a joyful shout to the LORD and to serve Him with gladness; come before His presence with singing!
We are to know that the LORD He is God: Know HIM  like we read from…Psalm 46:10 NKJV 10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!........we are to be still and know He is good....but we still proceed walking with Him but not rattled nor anxious about things

WE are not invited to worship God in ways that seem right to us! Proverb 21:2-3 NKJV 2 Every way of man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the hearts. 3 To do righteous and justice is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
We are in right standing with God because of the mouth and heart commitment of believing Him Savior and Lord. We are righteous because of His righteousness. So we worship in accordance with His righteousness. We are to worship that is regulated according to Scripture and we can see that this procedure certainly matters to God in Leviticus10!
Just ask Nadab & Abihu: Leviticus 10:1-7 NKJV Then Nadab & Abihu, these sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, & offered profane fire before the LORD, which He had not commanded them. 2 So fire went out from the LORD & devoured them, & they died before the LORD. 3 And Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD spoke saying, ‘By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; & before all the people I must be glorifed.’ So Aaron held his peace. 4 Then Moses called Mishael & Elzaphan the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, & said to them, “Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp.” 5 So they went near and carried them by their tunics out of the camp, as Moses had said. 6 And Moses said to Aaron, & to Eleazar & Ithamar, his sons, “Do not uncover your heads nor tear your clothes, lest you die, & wrath come upon all the people. But let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning with which the LORD has kindled. 7 You shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die, for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you.” And they did according to the word of Moses.
Oh that is right, you cannot ask them for they died! Yikes!

Elements of Worship consist of: Prayer, Tithes & Offerings, Confessing sin and the Lord’s Supper
1.   Prayer: Proverbs 15:8 NKJV The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.  That prayer request brings God’s pleasure from the righteous man or woman

2.   Tithes: Malachi 3:10-11  NKJV Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this. Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field.” Says the LORD of hosts.

3.   Tithing & offerings to God is not about getting something in return but it is about that obedience of faith to place our finances into His hand….and frankly most have not submitted their hearts or their money to His protection.
And God will certainly multiply what we place in His hand. But a $1 is still only a dollar. How Big do we really see God in our lives that we only trust Him with a dollar or two?

4.   Tithing for me and my husband is like a proving ground to prove God that He will increase what we have given Him …..that which is above that 10 percent of the 1/10th …..it is about worshiping him with our finances that He has gotten into our hands and we worship Him with even more.

5.   Offerings: Luke 21:1-4 And He looked up & saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasure, & He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. 3 So He said, Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; 4 “for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.
Offerings are above and beyond the tithe given to God in worship to Him! And sometimes it hurts to let go of what we think is ours, but truly all belongs to God. He is the Creator!

6.   Confessing Sin: is that knowing you just cut a person off that was trying to merge onto the interstate but you gave him no room. That is knowingly doing something against another person. Sin! We confess it quickly like 1 John 1:9 tells us: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

7.   The Lord’s Supper : to worship the Lord for all He did for us, those who believe on His name and live by faith for what He accomplished at the Cross!

WE are not to be worship entrepreneurs: God is He who is to be the object of our worship.  Ambition and self-confidence should not be in the forefront of our thinking; self confidence is thinking we know how to connect with God and we certainly are about connecting with Him but it is for His glory and not for ours. It is not good to have such a willingness to take a leap of faith in our own self-confidence for it can lead you down the wrong path!

What is God’s stated will? And yes we can learn from mistakes, but it is about pleasing the Father …………….not to lean on that trust in the respect we have for our team but to lean on the honor we give to our Father as that team working together for His praise and His glory that will actually do His will on earth as it is in Heaven.

You and I should know we have the ability to learn from our mistakes and then not do them again.  Scripture tells us that God does not require our worship as though he needs something from us : Acts 17:22-25. Rather, God calls us to worship him because of His essential worthiness.
Acts 17:25 Nor is He worshiped with men's hands as though He needed anything since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
No indeed, God does not require our bass player, nor the strings of a violin, but He will certainly accept the heart that is about pleasing Him and not about pleasing "the crowd".

Worship and obedience are inseparable. The Bible does not separate persons from their deeds. How will we worship God this week? Will we give Him our whole hearts into tithing, into offering and even confessing when we cut someone off on the highway? Yes, that last one can come back to bite for it is a seed sown and not for good that will come to a harvest in your life!
Take a moment and consider our Great God who has us on His mind. Where will you worship Him today? And what will we give Him from our heart?
James 4 gives us some wisdom about staying away from pride.  James 4:4-8 NKJV Adulterers and Adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us years jealously"? 6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." 7 Therefore submit to god. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded.

The Spirit of God yearns that you and I would not yield to the world and choose to become those who are estranged from Him and hostile towards His word, His ways and His life! A good thing to note from all this is if the devil is harassing you, then most likely you have not submitted yourself to God in all areas of your life. We can not pick and choose what portions of our life God can have reign over and then relentlessly consider to love the world in other areas of our lives especially in the area of entertainment.

We must serve Him with all our hearts! What will we choose today? To be harassed by the devil, to have him running rampant through our lives and those of our children,  rampant through our homes where rest cannot be found or are we willing to submit to God to live in a joyful place where we abide in His goodness that flows through our lives, through our homes, our jobs and through the lives of our children to impact our communities for God. Let's submit to God and stand in that righteousness that appears as those who live in peace filled lives where joy and freedom are seen when we truly choose to embrace God and His ways! Amen!
