Don't Be Just a Face in the Crowd

Are we just a face in the crowd? Are we needing a horn of sorts to be heard or are we those with a face that has the force of the Holy Spirit?

Being a force for God is like a flood of His love in places people do not know Him. 
Isaiah 1:18-20
18 "Come now, and let us reason together,"
Says the LORD,
"Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.
19 If you are willing and obedient,
You shall eat the good of the land;
20 But if you refuse and rebel,
You shall be devoured by the sword";
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
NKJV

A force of faith is those willing and obedient.......who will eat the good of the land. A voice of faith will always speak. Speaking words that dominate the law of death is what a reborn man does. It is action and the momentum that must be a continuous action on our part. When we abide in the Word day and night, that meditation is feeding our faith and building our capacity for more faith.

Hurrah! and Praise the Lord!

He adds to us!

Proverbs 3:16-18

16 Length of days is in her right hand,

In her left hand riches and honor. 

17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness,

And all her paths are peace. 

18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her,

And happy are all who retain her. NKJV

Length of days is added to us as well as riches and honor. The way is pleasant and the path is peace. It is a tree of life to those who take hold and will not release that hold! Happy are those who retain her, that wisdom of God!

Psalm 95:2-5

2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;

Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. 

3 For the LORD is the great God,

And the great King above all gods. 

4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth;

The heights of the hills are His also. 

5 The sea is His, for He made it;

And His hands formed the dry land. NKJV

Coming before His presence through Jesus we give a voice of thankfulness. We shout with joy and speak that He is the great God and the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth...that is your heart and mine. We are of the earth, yep, made with dirt you and I!

He is certainly aware of every high and low place that we have and could exist in. But God is able to give us His peace. God is able to perform His word in our lives. But we must heed His words, and speak as He spoke at the Beginning in Genesis. Surely the Holy Spirit still hovers over that which may appear as chaos, but God wants to bring us to green pastures.

The Great Shepherd of the sheep desires to herd us in those deep green pasture grasses and reside in the goodness of Him all the days of our lives. Every day we have challenges and maybe not the same ones your neighbor might have, but a challenge none the less. Being thankful in the challenge will bring a great look into God's plan and remembering that He is with us.

THE Control tower is to be Jesus who sits on the throne of our hearts. Praise should emanate from our lips. (Isaiah 57:19) And God will perfect our praise. (Matthew 21:16) Daily our God is to be praised. (Psalm 72:15)  And in a moment just by speaking God's words we can stop the enemy. We can still him quickly, yes, stop him in his tracks!

Psalm 8:2

2 Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants 

You have ordained strength,

Because of Your enemies,

That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.  NKJV

We should be the face in the crowd that speaks as God speaks. We are to be the "disciplined". That discipline is the systematic training or subjection to authority, especially the training of the mental, moral and physical powers by instruction and exercise. The result will be of a subjection in obedience to what the Father our God has given us to speak.

"If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you will truly be My disciples." When we truly abide, hold fast to His word in obedience we become the disciplined to the things of God and His government.

Jesus had authority and He gave it to us!

Luke 10:18-20

18 He replied, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."   NIV

Yes, clear cut indeed, it is authority we have been given. We have power over the enemy and nothing will harm us. But our rejoicing is in truth that our names are written in heaven...in the Lamb's Book of Life!

People not only need to see your face, they must see your heart speak and declare what God has done for you. Otherwise you are another face in the crowd. It is time for people to step up to God and His ways and thoughts. Jesus was the Sacrifice. And we needed one badly! His name is not a fetish so we can use as "a charm". No His name represents all power in heaven and in earth. Matthew 28:20

We have been given Life and more abundant life through Jesus. Now is the time to step up in that power He has given us. Step up with a voice, offer to God the praise He deserves, and enter His presence to know Him more.

May we magnify Him more and not with just mere words, but that is with heart putting Him first no matter the chaos or problem.

If we carry no song, then we do not know Him personally. Make an altar and with your soul sing, for He has pardoned us through the Blood of Jesus. There is much to be thankful for today and every day. Let's look toward His goodness and may our face speak what our hearts represent............the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord's. Amen.

If You died Today where would YOU spend ETERNITY?

John 20:1-18
20:1 On the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2 Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him." 3 Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb. 4 So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. 5 And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself. 8 Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. 9 For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. 10 Then the disciples went away again to their own homes.

11 But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. 12 And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 13 Then they said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him." 14 Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?" She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, "Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away." 16 Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to Him, "Rabboni!" (which is to say, Teacher). 17 Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.' " 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.  NKJV



I am always in awe when I read this passage. Mary, still consumed with grief, does not see what is before her. Now ..........at this moment she is talking with angels. No doubt she had something to speak. She had a wondering heart of where her Lord might be. And seeing this man in the garden, she asks a question. "Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away." Now she presumed He was the gardener.

BUT Jesus spoke "Mary!" "Rabboni!" (which is to say Teacher). "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, "I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God."

Yes, she does not see Him, but did see that which was the ordinary, a tomb that was opened and two angels. In those days, it was written that people frequently saw and talked with angels. In this day and time, I believe such would frighten many people out of their very being.
Could you imagine the amount of Facebook time or tweets on angels being sighted and heard speaking to regular everyday people?
And she did not recognize Jesus. Grief is something that people have to deal with when loving other people. They can go through it and never realize what or how powerful grief really is till it takes them down bodily.

Grief is a terrible thing. This Mary was wanting to secure her Lord, and yet here He stood in her midst. I wonder how many suffer through a "grief" and never really see Jesus in their midst. In that time before daylight and darkness tries to hold a little longer, but light will always come.

God ordained it!

Walking with Jesus and hearing Him speak of life and then to have Him taken so violently and beaten so brutally, captures a heart into that place that one will shrink in fear! But this Mary wanted to secure her Jesus, her Lord. And she wanted to know where He was taken!


Ecclesiastes 3:1-12

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:

2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

9 What does the worker gain from his toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on men. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. NIV

There a time for everything and we know not what lays before us, but with God we can make it through. Yes grief can come, but we must come to the realization that Jesus was sent for us..........and that through Him, we can find peace in any situation or circumstance. Many times we must be stilled from the flesh creature, call our emotions into line with God's Word, and know that He is God. We must quiet those outside voices and stay within His boundaries to know Him fervently.

In the scheme of this life and adventures, many take a path which is too widely taken for that which is of grief in consuming drugs, alcohol and even taking of their own lives. As adults, we should be willing to take those extra steps to bringing a legacy of life to our children, grand-children and to those children around us who have NO leadership within their homes. We should be willing to tell them about Jesus, the Lord and Savior. For truly something is coming down each person's pathway, but how it is handled will determine where we spend eternity. And the other thing to remember is to being obedient to something God speaks.

Today is the day of salvation.

Salvation is through only one and His name is Jesus.

Acts 4:8-12

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: "Rulers and elders of the people! 9 If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a cripple and are asked how he was healed, 10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11 He is "'the stone you builders rejected, 

12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."     NIV

Salvation is found in NO ONE ELSE.........WHATEVER NAME THAT IS NAMED IS STILL BELOW THE NAME OF JESUS!


Philippians 2:5-11
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond-servant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.    NKJV

I wonder how many will be so mad when they find they put their faith in just a man and not Jesus Christ the Lord of glory?

1 John 1:8-2:1

8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives. 

NIV

Trying to figure out our own way is nothing but noise and chaos. But adhering to Jesus, we find that which is a life everlasting. May we truly be bold to remind others that there is a heaven to gain and a hell to avoid! Today is the day to confess sins, those which can keep us from hearing the God of truth. And we know from 1 John that He is faithful and He is the just and will forgive us our sins ..........purify us from all unrighteousness.

Mary experienced something "new". She saw Him walking and talking with her. He still lives to rule and reign in our hearts. Today you may know someone who is far from Jesus. You may know them walking on that wide road of destruction and death, and when you pray (not "if you will pray") but when you pray for them remind them that God has a purpose for their lives, and that they are to live for Him. Remind them that there is still time for them to confess Jesus as Lord. And then confess that they truly have a walk, a close walk to know Him intimately.

Yes, grief can paralyze some people. It can bring someone so low that they cannot hear truth. When we are dealing with a loved one who is close to death, remind the Father what He planned and thank Him that you (we) will hear the report of good for that family member. Send laborers across their path if you cannot do it. Send those angels who will guard those heirs of salvation and give thanks to the Father Who hears because of the Blood of Jesus shed for us at Calvary.

We are coming upon that time of year again to be reminded of not only His shed blood, His love that gave, but we are also reminded of those who are still without Him. Their final destination if they have do not Jesus is hell. God does not cause sickness, He does not kill anyone. But satan surely does and will use any device he cannot to shut a person's mouth and to keep them from confessing Jesus as Lord.
Let's pray for those who still stumble in the dark, and may they stumble into the presence of God in you (and me). May they hear the Words of Salvation in Jesus Christ and may they be turned toward the Light of Life of which there is no variation of turning.



James 1:12-18
12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.   NKJV

Father, we pray for those who stumble because they disobey the message of which they were destined for.( 1 Peter 2:8-17)
We have been called out of darkness and into that marvelous light. We pray as the people of God for those who have not come into Your family. We pray for those who are far from God and live in sinful desires that will cause ultimate death to them. Today we pray that anyone who comes across our path, may we be the willing to call them into Light. May we glorify God.
For the mercy we have received, we walk in the Light of Jesus Christ.

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4-6) For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as servants for His sake. For God who said, "let light shine out of darkness," made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (verse 6)

Father, in Jesus' name , may they see You when we speak with them, and may they hear You speak their name.
Father, You do not cause death and destruction, You give life everlasting. You have put eternity into our hearts. May we speak with a boldness to give clear meaning to receiving Jesus as Lord. May they not turn away but heed the warnings that they are on that road of destruction. We truly set ourselves to speak when You lead us by Your Holy Spirit and we will pray like You tells us to pray. We look forward to our future with You, but till that time we are set like flint to keep watch and pray for those who are headed to an everlasting destruction. Oh merciful Father, thank You for Jesus and we give thanks for His shed blood for all man-kind that we would spend our eternity with You. May we rise and speak while it is still light. To God be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Piercing the Darkness

John 1:4-5

4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.     NKJV

1 Thessalonians 5:5-11...............5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. 8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.      NKJV

My desire this year was to teach on women of the Bible who were women of prayer! In spending time researching and reading............Esther is always been one to me who stands as one who was willing to " pierce the darkness".

If Jesus is really in our hearts, then are we edifying others, and seeking to help them to come higher by our example or do we just resemble "the world"?

Please study for yourself the life of Esther and find that which you can glean for your own life! For truly she made her mark in history for the Lord!

Esther was a stranger in a strange land. Her parents had died and she had come to live with her cousin  Mordecai in Susa. Mordecai knew her as Hadassah, Fearing for her safety, he changed her name to what we know today as Esther.

There was many things transpiring at the palace for the King Xerxes. It was on the last day of feast    ( Esther 1:9-12) and the King sent in his seven chamberlains (or eunuchs) to bring his wife Queen Vashti before the King's table. My question is "why bring your wife, even a Queen in before men who had been drinking and partying for seven days"? And we know that she refused to go before the "drunken party of men".

But Queen Vashti had to have been a noble woman and was not willing to flaunt her beauty before the drunken man. In reality, she held to the respect towards her husband, that if he did not keep her safe and behind secure doors, she surely should be choosing to remain modest behind them. She did not exhibit herself in this public assembly of partying men. She wanted to retain honor and her kingly husband refused her!

So we move on to Esther.........and in Esther 2:17-20.......we find she had more favor with the king and she won the approval over all the other virgins. A royal crown was set on her head. When time came for the Great Banquet, it was for Esther and all nobles and officials were invited to attend.

Esther became a Queen to a pagan King. No one knowing her heritage, she walked with the King and remained faithful to her adoptive father, Mordecai. We understand through reading through this book, that Esther was headed for destiny to pierce the darkness. It was imperative for her not to reveal her heritage to others till the time came for the revelation come to save a nation.

Esther 4:13-17..............13 Then Mordecai told them to answer Esther: "Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king's palace any more than all the other Jews. 14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" 15 Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: 16 "Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!" 17 So Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Esther commanded him.     NKJV

She was brave and knew the peril before her. She had not been called to the King's quarters in 30 days. She was going to have to do something to get to talk with the King, her husband.

As we read from the beginning of her life in the Citadel of Susa, she had many teachers. She was a woman who had courage when facing the enemy.
(She had learned from her cousin, but also learned from those in the court of the king. She learned the government and protocol)

Proverbs 4:10-13...............10 Hear, my son, and receive my sayings,
And the years of your life will be many. 
11 I have taught you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in right paths. 
12 When you walk, your steps will not be hindered,
And when you run, you will not stumble. 
13 Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go;
Keep her, for she is your life. ..NKJV

And the "one thing" I call your attention to is that she prayed. In the above passage, she came to the hour that prayer and fasting was needed. She agreed with Mordecai,  that even her maids will likewise fast. And  Esther was expecting, that even though it was against the law for her to go the King, she would do what answer came from the prayer and fasting.

One thing about Esther, she was gathering all her information  and she acted!She was being led by wisdom.  Her being obedient was paramount to her and did not matter whether she perished or not, she was on her way to the palace. She moved through in the wisdom of God and allowed Him freedom to guide her every step of the way!

Esther 7:1-4.....7:1 So the king and Haman went to dine with Queen Esther. 2 And on the second day, at the banquet of wine, the king again said to Esther, "What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!" 3 Then Queen Esther answered and said, "If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request. 4 For we have been sold, my people and I, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated. Had we been sold as male and female slaves, I would have held my tongue, although the enemy could never compensate for the king's loss."  NKJV
As she came before the King and asked her petition, the truth came out of Esther and her people.
"If I have found favor in your sight, O king and if it pleases the king, let my life be given at my petition and my people at my request."
She speaks of the evil plan of Haman and how he, Haman, had worked towards a plan to destory her people.

Esther 7:10.......... 10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king's wrath subsided. NKJV

Esther 8:1-8...........8:1 On that day King Ahasuerus gave Queen Esther the house of Haman, the enemy of the Jews. And Mordecai came before the king, for Esther had told how he was related to her. 2 So the king took off his signet ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai; and Esther appointed Mordecai over the house of Haman. 

3 Now Esther spoke again to the king, fell down at his feet, and implored him with tears to counteract the evil of Haman the Agagite, and the scheme which he had devised against the Jews. 4 And the king held out the golden scepter toward Esther. So Esther arose and stood before the king, 5 and said, "If it pleases the king, and if I have found favor in his sight and the thing seems right to the king and I am pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to revoke the letters devised by Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to annihilate the Jews who are in all the king's provinces. 6 For how can I endure to see the evil that will come to my people? Or how can I endure to see the destruction of my countrymen?" 

7 Then King Ahasuerus said to Queen Esther and Mordecai the Jew, "Indeed, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and they have hanged him on the gallows because he tried to lay his hand on the Jews. 8 You yourselves write a decree for the Jews, as you please, in the king's name, and seal it with the king's signet ring; for a letter which is written in the king's name and sealed with the king's signet ring no one can revoke."  NKJV

Piercing the Darkness!

We too, can have that moment when we must stand against something that is there to stop us, get rid us, or even harm us!

I had worked for some years in the child care industry. I loved working with children and watching their vigor and character form into a young youth and into adulthood. One moment stands out to me in all those years, when one must face the darkness and pierce it with God's truth and prayer.

In the department I worked in, we had a mixture babies and young school age children. Some of the babies were a little delayed sometimes in walking. Not because they were in any way challenged but in their weight and some "slight laziness". But they all got to the point one day of walking on two feet. Praise the Lord!

One such boy, was only 16 months old and he would do what we called " the military crawl". And he certainly was fast on his belly in doing this crawl!

One older child ( about 6 years of age or 7 years of age) came in one day, and began to hit the small ones on the head, first with a toy and then his fist. We stopped him, separated the child out from the others and told the supervisor and the mother of older child. There were always at least three adults working to keep the smaller number children safe as the day of work was ending.

The older child had done this specific thing before and now was up to his third time which meant about 3 months of "no visit " to the childcare department.

The mother was terribly displeased and was very vocal of her resentment. The lady wrote a letter to the owner of business, the manager of business and of course for the supervisor as well. Two names were on the letter to state that we were against her child. Now the Lord had said for me to spend time during this long weekend to pray and that was what I did. I went to prayer that holiday weekend and was seeking His wisdom of what might come from all of this. I wanted to know "God's plan" in all of this!

Long story shortened, all read the letter. It came down the chain of command and it was even brought to us after the holiday weekend. But no one wanted to do anything with it, for the two of us ladies had worked there for a very long time and had proven our faithfulness to care for all the children that came to that daycare. The letter had been passed down from owner to manager and then supervisor and of course, our supervisor was not going to do anything about it. She knew our work ethics.

When the supervisor had brought "the letter" in for us to read, I remember walking across the room to get it from her hand and walked with it....reading down the page as I walked the entire length of that room.................and I came back praising God out loud for His goodness to me and to my co-worker!

In and through this time period, we continued to work and give thanks to God and to pray for those who would want you gone now!
People knew me in that place. They knew I would pray for them and they knew I would always talk about my God!

When we spend time with God, and plead the Blood of Jesus over every situation, we see His power released on the earth for our benefit. 

Like Esther, we too, can pierce the darkness, believe for the good to come from all the chaos and expect to continue going forward in His plan for our lives.

We are to be the light of men who shine in darkness and even though the darkness does not comprehend it, we are those sons of the day. We are to be watchful through prayer and sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love. At every turn we are appointed to comfort and edify one another.

Esther had cousin Mordecai who adopted her, to teach her, to care for and stand with her as she grew up. The Lord wants to teach us, care for us and STAND WITH US WHEN THOSE WHO WOULD STAND IN OPPOSITION AGAINST US FOR DOING GOOD!

1 John 1:5-10......5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.  NKJV


Father, thank You for the Light of Your word. Our fellowship is to give You glory and praise. I pray that we would continue to be those who have fellowship with You and to stay in the light of Your Word. It is Jesus' Blood that cleanses us from all sins. In 1 Thessalonians 5:5-11....we are no longer of the night or in darkness. I pray that we would be those who "watch" through prayer and are sober, who put on the breastplate of faith and love with the helmet of salvation that comes through our Lord Jesus Christ. It is our opportunity to comfort others and to edify them where You have planned for us to work and play.  I pray that each of us would be the "Light" that pierces the darkness and stand believing YOU have our backs and that nothing will harm us. Thank You FOR the truth of Your Word that gives us wisdom to face peril, and receive instruction to walk in the way of truth and righteousness all the days of our lives in Jesus' name. Amen
