The Exodus is No Myth

Psalm 105:37 He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.
God brought them out with wealth!
We are told of the Hebrew nation, that when Moses brought them out of Egypt there was none feeble among them. That meant that the ‘older citizens’ had good health. They did not require walkers or any other device for aiding their ability to exit the bondage of Egypt! And in other passages, their feet did not swell even though they walked many miles daily!  Nehemiah 9:21 Forty years You sustained them in the wilderness; they lacked nothing; their clothes did not wear out and their feet did not swell. 22 Moreover You gave them kingdoms and nations, and divided them into districts. So they took possession of the land of Sihon, the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan. 23 You also multiplied their children as the stars of heaven, and brought them into the land which You had told their fathers to go in and possess.

Today, I hear people call this Exodus of the Hebrew nation out of an Egyptian culture an actual myth! Really, and do they not know or even venture to see the actual place where the Hebrew nation crossed the Red Sea and where the wheels of the chariots fell off when the high waves of water came back forcibly to earth. Those broken chariots actually lie today beneath the waters of that “crossing” never to be used again against another. In that region coral has built homes for marine life on those big wheels once decorated for Pharaoh and his use. Yes, that which served Pharaoh once is found to serve the small marine life that lives below in those depths this day. There are documentaries that show that, but you have to go to where people give truth and not lies.
I could not but think of these people and the many that had left the clutches of a Pharaoh to go to the land God promised them when the temperatures were really hot during the day and really cool at night. I cannot  but think of nothing else how they came across desert and had almighty God for their light at night and a cloud of protection. It was He who quenched their thirst in the dryness of a barren land they crossed.  Nehemiah 9:19-20 Yet in Your manifold mercies You did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of the cloud did not depart from them by day, to lead them on the road; nor the pillar of fire by night; to those them light, and the way they should go. 20 You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, and did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, and gave them water for their thirst.

Even though many did not take the land promised serious, yet Joshua and Caleb did! And in that quest of land by faith, they took possession. Nehemiah 9:24 So the people went in and possessed the land; You subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hands, with their kings and the people of the land, that they might do with them as they wished. 25 And they took strong cities and a rich land, and possess houses full of all goods, cisterns already dug, vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees in abundance. So they ate and were filled and grew fat, and delighted themselves in Your great goodness.

Those who began the trek out of Egypt fell in the desert due to unbelief with no trust in God! Those who had been born out in that forty years of wandering were those who would be willing to go into Canaan land in the time that they grew to adults and settle in what was promised to their parents.  In the New Testament, the book of Hebrews reveal a “hall of Faith”. Hebrews 11: 20-29  Amp. Bible  20 [with eyes of] faith Isaac, looking far into the future, invoked blessings upon Jacob and Esau. 21 [Prompted] by faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons and bowed in prayer over the top of his staff.
22 [Actuated] by faith Joseph, when nearing the end of his life, referred to [the promise of God for] the departure of the Israelites out of Egypt & gave instructions concerning the burial of his own bones. 23[ Prompted ] by faith Moses, after his birth, was kept concealed for three months by his parents, because they saw how comely the child was; & they were not overawed & terrified by the king’s decree.  They were not moved by him…
24 [Aroused] by faith Moses, when he had grown to maturity & become great, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, 25 because he preferred to share the oppression [suffer the hardships] & bear the shame of the people of God rather than to have the fleeting enjoyment of a sinful life.  26 He considered the contempt & abuse & shame [borne for] the Christ (the Messiah Who was to come) to be greater wealth than all the treasures of Egypt, for he looked forward & away to the reward (recompense),
Hebrews 11:27 [Motivated] by faith he left Egypt behind him, being un-awed & undismayed by the wrath of the king; for he never flinched but held staunchly to his purpose & endured steadfastly as one who gazed on Him Who is invisible. 28 By faith (simple trust & confidence in God ) he instituted & carried out the Passover & the sprinkling of the blood [on the doorposts], so that the destroyer of the firstborn (the angel) might not touch those [of the children of Israel].
29 [Urged on] by faith the people crossed the Red Sea as [though] on dry land, but when the Egyptians tried to do the same thing they were swallowed by [by the sea].

It is always God who calls us out of bondage to that which is life in Him. It is coming out of disorder into an ordered life that is peace and safety in God. It is a land of peace. And in that peace, ‘Shalom’, is nothing missing, nothing lacking, and nothing broken. Biblical Christianity is always up front and personal….in the FACE to FACE presence with God and with people. But new technologies are allowing us to ‘dial down’ that up close human contact! Today wemask,  have even been dialed further down by those who choose to fight against God by making many wear masks. So communicating by appearance with a mask on your face might seem unnecessary and just wrong, but God expects us to have confidence in Him whatever the trial. And if it needs to be removed, then He will certainly reveal that mask will disappear.
Moses was one who was born a Hebrew but lived out the first part of his life as an Egyptian. He was even one who wore that black liner on the eyes and he was seen as a son of a Pharaoh, one with wealth and influence. Still within his blood and heart was one who was to lead the Hebrew nation out of the clutches of such a rule. He saw the Hebrew people badly persecuted. He saw hostile attitudes, and violent reactions, and we too can face those things at times. But God still rules!

It is God WHO desires each of us to have an inexhaustible faith by speaking to encourage & warn in the face of any conflict or persecution.  Our lives are to be that of faith that is alive, seen as active & always on call! A life that responds to what the occasion demands should appear as on time, in order & right to the point. In this walk one can encounter hostile attitude, possible violent reaction, forcing mask protection, but we should be inclined to act for God that calls us to do something for His glory. God is not a myth nor is the Exodus of the Hebrew nation one. The Bible reveals what happened to a ruler like Pharaoh who worshiped the most odd things and ended up as the last plague dealt with. Yikes!
With Warning & Without Warning: Announcement was made only in plagues numbering one & two, four & five, seven & eight to Pharaoh. But three, six and nine came without warning.
1  In the reading of Exodus we see each plague was directed against those things that the Egyptians worshiped.
2   In the plague 2 of the frogs, the marshes of the Nile have a great amount that fill that area, but even in this, the frogs were found in the fields, courtyards, and even in the bedrooms! Pharaoh begs relief….
3  In the plague 6 of the boils,…this was aimed at the commercial and artistic wealth of Egypt . The first plague started at the river & now industry was a source of trouble for the Egyptians.
4  In plague 7 of the hail Pharaoh begs relief, promises freedom but hardens even further
5  In plague 8 of the Locusts: Pharaoh bargains; begs relief but hardens his heart further
6  The ninth plague was darkness………experiencing the darkness………that wraps itself around you……..the commentaries write that they thought it was one of the fiercest of sandstorms in that area ……Pharaoh again tries to bargain but hardens his heart
7   Plague of the  gnats/lice number 3, boils number 6 & darkness number 9 came without warning.
Plague 10 was the death of the firstborn…… Pharaoh begged Israel to leave Egypt ( Exodus 12:31-33)  and upon changing his mind, Pharaoh chased after them with his many men  and fine chariots, but their life ended in the watery grave. Exodus 14: 23 and the Egyptians pursued and went after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaohs’ horses, his chariots and his horsemen. 24 Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the LORD looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud,  and He troubled the army of the Egyptians. 25 And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said, “let us flee from the face of Israel, for the LORD fights for them against the Egyptians.” 26 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots and on their horsemen.” 27 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. 28 Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of the remained.
Exodus 15: 19 For the horses of Pharaoh went with his chariots and his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought back the waters of the sea upon them. But the children of Israel went on dry land in the mist of the sea.

Pharaoh had the opportunity to change his mind for good but continued in the disordered love in a disordered desire for loving something else more than knowing God and loving Him. If we are truly with God, abiding in Him, then our trust is that He is taking us where we really will thrive for His glory and not ours. If we truly trust, then our faith is to be healthy and stay healthy. We go into the land that is peace, and where we become all that He planned for us from the foundation of the world!
To me, Moses inspired others! What a relationship he had with God. Joshua is one who was inspired by the life of Moses. For he certainly continued to move into the promise land when Moses had died. We should not be backing up to try to capture last year, but continue in that with the Holy Spirit that is guidance and comfort for this day and this hour! May we prompt others to join us in this walk of faith that is one of adventure in Him, where faith is seen and joy is heard!  Because what others may deem as ordered and desired, yet God calls it disordered love in a disordered desire for something else, He will see it gets changed and He will do it! Amen!

Eternal Life

John 17:3  Amplified Bible And this is eternal life: [it means] to know ( to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with and understand) You, the only true and real God and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ ( the Anointed one, the Messiah,) whom You have sent. 4 I have glorified You down here on the earth by completing the work that You gave Me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me to such majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You before the world existed. 6 I have manifested Your Name [ I have revealed Your every Self, Your real Self] to the people whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have obeyed and kept Your word.

The indwelling Christ is eternal life in us and through us to others. Christ in me will resonate with Christ in you! We become one in Him when we have accepted Him as Lord of our lives.

Jesus in His prayer time…prayed for the church! How is it possible for someone who is a “church go-er” to die …..without Christ. WAS there no teachings on this eternal life, no eternal knowledge available to the person who attended and did not either receive this truth or was never taught it?

The truth known in this instance, is that this person is separated from God found in Revelation 21:8 But as for the cowards and the ignoble and the contemptible and the cravenly lacking in courage and the cowardly submissive, and as for the unbelieving and the faithless, and as for the depraved and defiled with abominations, and as for murderers and the lewd and adulterous and the practicers of magic arts and the idolators (those who give supreme devotion to anyone or anything other than God) and all liars (those who knowingly convey untruth by word or deed)----[all of these shall have]  their part in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone. This is the second death. [Isaiah 30:33]

Did you know there are people who say they are Christians and practice those ‘angel cards’?  Another is those who practice sorcery. But Jesus speaks this in Revelation 22:14-15   “Blessed ( happy and to be envied) are those who cleanse their garments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and to enter through  the gates into the city.  15 [But] without are the dogs, those who practice sorceries (magic arts), impurity [ the lewd, adulterers] and the murderers and idolaters and everyone who loves and deals in falsehood (untruth, error, deception, cheating).”

The Bible says in Psalm 97:10: “Let those who love the LORD hate evil…”  God hates sorcery.  Jesus was light sown for the righteous! That people would come to the light and not stumble. John 2:1-2 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

Eternal Life is made up those obedient to God’s word where His love is matured in us! That love is not demanding rights but is seen as that which is humbled before God for His purpose on earth.

Jesus asked the Father to glorify Him with the glory that was His before the world began seen in verses 4-5 of John 17. Jesus, the humble, obeyed the Father. And we see this in :Phil 2:6-8. The Father exalted Jesus because of His act of humble obedience. Paul instructed believers to have the same mind or attitude Jesus had. Jesus serves not only as our example of an intercessor, but also of an obedient servant.

Jesus maintained a heart for His father and for people! Romans 6:16-23 Amplified Bible 16 Do you not know that if you continually surrender yourselves to anyone to do his will, you are the slaves of him whom you obey, whether that be to sin, which leads to death or to obedience which leads to righteousness (right doing and right standing with God)? 17 But thank God, though you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed. 18 And having been set free from sin, you have become the servants of righteousness ( of conformity to the divine will in thought, purpose, and action). 19 I am speaking in familiar human terms because or your natural limitations. For as you yielded your bodily members [and faculties] as servants to impurity and ever increasing lawlessness, so now yield your bodily members [and faculties] once for all as servants to righteousness ( right being and doing) [ which leads] to sanctification. 20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 But then what benefit (return) did you get from the things which you are not ashamed? [None] for the end of those things is death. 22 But now since you have been set free from sins and have become the slaves of God, you have your present reward in holiness and its end is eternal life. 23 For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with ) Jesus Christ our Lord.

We are to keep the word of God in our heart: John 15: 7-9 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will and it shall be done for you. 8 When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified and you show and prove yourselves to be followers of Mine. 9 I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [continue in His love with Me].

To obey the Word means we know who is the Word of God…that is Jesus Christ, the anointed One! He came and He stood in a place of authority representing the Kingdom of God, His Father. John 1: 14 Amplified Bible 14 And the Word (Christ) became flesh ( human, incarnate) and tabernacle ( fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually saw His glory (His honor, His majesty) such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.  John 8:51 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone observes My teaching [lives in accordance with My message, keeps My word], he will by no means ever see and experience death. John 14:24 Anyone who does not [really] love Me does not observe and obey My teaching. And the teaching which you hear and heed is not Mine, but [comes] from the Father Who sent Me.

Fruit is Brought forth in perseverance: John 6:27 Stop toiling and doing and producing for the food that perishes and decomposes [in the using]; but strive and work and produce rather for the [lasting] food which endures [continually ] unto life eternal; the Son of Man will give (furnish) you that, for God the Father has authorized and certified Him and put His seal of endorsement upon Him. John 4:14…”but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

There are people who have a “thirst” today but it is for wealth and it is for power. It has nothing to do with loving others!

We are to believe and be saved……..when we thirst for life….it is only found in Him….John 3:17-19 NKJV For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

We are to be grounded in truth: Colossians 2:6-7 NKJV  As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

Hebrews 3:6; 12-14….NKJV 6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.  12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; 13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called  “Today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.

Our lives should reveal a light of Christ Jesus that glows from a heart filled with His great love. And that love is to be given to those we encounter. The love demonstrated today is not what the Bible reveals. Love does not contain gossip, rumors, accusations nor does it contain any offenses. The love illustrated is that which is to get “one’s” way, to have a thumb rule holding people in a place which can be destructive and is far from being wise. It only brings further division of people! The only thing that will bring unity is sharing the same purpose, plan and power that Christ came to set up. It is the Father’s will on earth. That is for each believer set apart to do the ministry of truth where they live, work and play! God did this for us. He presented the greatest love of all!

The Biblical definition of the Love of God is found in:1 John 5:3 - "This is the love of God, that we keep His Commandments, and His Commandments are not burdensome."

Accepting Jesus Christ, is accepting His ways, and His word for living in this day and hour! We know there is a way to follow and missing it, points to falling away from His words of truth. You find it in the warnings given to the seven churches in the book of Revelation! We must be those who adhere to Him and that truth and anything outside that truth will be death. We miss a step in Him and we repent ….and in that asking of forgiveness we turn away from that sin…and continue to receive the eternal life with Christ Jesus.

Jesus Himself said in John 14:15 - "If you love Me, keep My Commandments." And this: in Matthew 5:17 - "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill."

What is done away with under the New Covenant are the old requirements, as stated in Colossians 2:14 - "Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He, Jesus has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."

And if we love God, we do keep His Commandments! And we are happy about it, because keeping His Commandments means to live in righteousness and respect towards ourselves, others and God. Sin is not Love for sin creates a breach in relationships and separates us from ourselves, it separates us from others and separates us from God!  Sin will always hurt someone.  Romans 13:8-10 - "Owe no one anything except to love one another, because he who loves another has fulfilled the Law. The Commandments: "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet", and whatever other Commandment there may be, are summed up in this statement: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the Law."

What we see on many streets of this nation and around the world is a love that has nothing to do with God! The righteous way is living through that which came through His Son. That outside of Jesus is trouble and torments in the streets! It is the killing or taking of lives that were meant to serve God and know His great love.

The consequences of sin and iniquity can be deadly and without God. But God our Father desires our lives filled with blessings, yes those who know Him as the Father and call Him Abba. And His children hear His voice and they follow His ways.

Certainly a judgment is coming and one will stand before Him (Jesus) at the Bema Seat of Christ or at the other called the Great White Throne Judgment. Are we visibly seen as one with Jesus Christ?  Is His Lordship seen in us and through us?

Jesus spoke this which also included His family: Luke 8:19-21 NKJV 19 then His mother and brothers came to Him, and could not approach Him because of the crowd. 20 And it was told Him by some, who said, ‘Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see You.’ 21 But Jesus answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.’

When we obey more light is given to us. Our pathway is clearly visible. But if we fail to take heed, we will lose what we have been given. Light is seen….and it will appear with Jesus. But like John 3:20-21 speaks:  “ For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he Who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen that they have been done in God.’

Yes, those with the Lord become brighter….unto the full light of DAY…their justice is revealed at noonday! Found in Psalm 37:5-9 NKJV 5 commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light. And your justice as the noonday. 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in His ways, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret----it only causes harm. 9 For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Yes, those who adhere to the Lord now will be with Him on earth when He rules in His kingdom in Jerusalem. For eternal life is always serving with Him in the love of God and in the power of His might. Even so, come Lord Jesus, come!

Father, we give thanks today that eternal life is ours! As believers, assurance of eternal life began the moment we surrendered our lives to Jesus. We believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God who lived a perfect life, & then, obediently died the death we deserved, so we could be reconciled with God Who is our Father in heaven!

We are thankful that Jesus defeated death when he rose from the dead on the third day just as He said He would. As Christ followers, we have the promise of eternal life. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” according to John 3:16! We give thanks this day that our citizenship is in heavenly places for where Christ is there we are also with Him! We are pilgrims traveling through this lifetime, but our citizenship is in heaven. We eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. We have an expectancy of His return this day. We prepare to be the bride without spot or blemish.

Father we know there are always wars and rumors of wars but we win! We know nation will rise against another nation, son against the father, friend against a friend, but Scripture reveals that we ultimately win for God destroys the enemy. We as Your children receive this victory today. We are the healed, we are the peacemakers, we are those armed with Your great word that silences the lies, and closes the mouths of lions. We have the promise of triumph. No matter the outcome of this day or this week God has moved into our neighborhood. He made His home with us His people. He lives with us…..whom shall we fear? NO one!

Is There Horror in the Streets

Was reading an article written that contained Scripture and was:
1 John 4:20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him; that he who loves God must love his brother also.
John was writing this to the “church’. And He saw it as critical to those that were living in his day. So how much "more" critical is it toward us who live today and in this hour? We are nearer to the end time than they were, and now each day reads like horrors! But we look for the return of Jesus Christ our hope!
Certainly one can view the newscast and some might give it and most will not. They do not want you to know the horror that resides in their streets. I wonder what they will do when a real pandemic arrives on their doorstep. For it surely will arrive to meet them since they talk daily for hours about it and its horrible harm on man. Even in years past like 2016 it was the Zika virus...yet there were not many cases and seemed to be within certain counties in Florida!
But back to love growing cold:
Matthew 24:12  NKJV   12  And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. In 2 Timothy 3:2 “men will be lovers of themselves”, and verse 3 “without self-control”, brutal….this appears daily.
In the years I was growing up and still at home, the violence was months are even years apart and then when they occurred, it was disheartening to know we lived in a land where people had no compassion and were about terrorizing human beings. If we heard a report, it was overseas in some country far from what I knew up close and personal. Yet, in this day, violence is seen in “road rage” and to run a child down who is playing in his yard near a street with little traffic. Then suddenly, the child is left motionless on the side of a roadway.
When Jesus gave the word of lawlessness abounding and their love growing cold, it was talking of the descendants that would come after them. The love Jesus uses is agape, the God-kind of love and the spiritual love is only attainable by those who know God. Those as of the world do not know this kind of love. Romans 5:5 tells us of the love, that love of God is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. He the Holy Spirit was given to us in the New Birth.

So Jesus is warning His body of believers of the wickedness of the world that would increase to that end where the spiritual heat is in Jesus’ own people will grow dramatically colder in regard to that which would be occurring on earth.
Is there horror in the streets or is it just the Signs of the Times: Matthew 24:3-10  NKJV Now as He sat on the mount of Olives the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming & of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered & said to them: Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,& will deceive many. 6”And you will hear of wars & rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” 7 “For nation will rise against nation, & kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences & earthquakes in various places. 8 “All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation & kill you, & you will be hated 10 “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, & will hate one another.
In this passage of   Matthew 24:10…points to hate that no love was found in their hearts.  1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us , they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, & you know all things.
Matthew 24:11-14  NKJV  11 Then many false prophets will rise up & deceive many, 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 but he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, & the end will come.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18…..14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them, and walk among them. I will be their God and they shall be My people. 17 Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean and I will receive you. 18I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.”
Matthew 21:42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: “the stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD’S doing and it is marvelous in our eyes?” 43 Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.
Rendering to the God the appropriate fruit;  Those who love and endure will always be expressing love always giving to the other’s good.   It gives Freely doing without expecting anything in return.  It is expressing an honor to one being helped and the Gospel will be preached as a “witness”!

In this attitude of Growing Cold:   Jesus said for us to take heed that no one deceive us. "For many will come in My name saying, " I am the Christ and will deceive many.
Matthew 24:12 …. is not addressed to the people in the world at large but directly to Jesus' disciples and their spiritual descendants. Jesus uses the word agape for the love that grows cold. Such spiritual love, godly love, is unattainable by those driven by the spirit of this world.
Satan has no love. He is driven by me, myself and I.  Jesus, then, is warning His church that the wickedness of the world will increase to such an extent that it would sap the spiritual heat out of His own people, causing their love to grow cold.
Major point: the  people within God’s church will love God  less & love each other less ....Matthew 24:11-13   11 Then many false prophets  will rise up & deceive many. 12 & because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But He who endures to the end shall be saved. Deterioration will occur!

It will appear as a gradually moving off on the prayer time and study of God’s word. Interesting truth: back about 10 years ago, my friend Loretta and I searched for a Wednesday night service……..and many had moved their youth night to Wednesday and there was no time for the Adult service on Wednesday. We finally found  a Bible study at a church but of the 700 who attended, those attended only added up to about 20 people attending.
Yes, even ten years ago, the church seemed to be backing off the word of God for their "free time"!  Relaxing our relationship with God is not a good thing. It allows one to sin in haste……..and to repent……….maybe later!

Godly Love has to be seen in the Church:   2 John 1: 4-8  nkjv  I rejoiced greatly that I have some  of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father. 5 And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning that we love one another. 6 This love,  that we walk. according to His commandments. This is the commandment that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. 7 for many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver & an anti-christ. 8 Look to yourselves, that we (you) do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward
We are not to be swayed: false teaching contradicts the Bible.  Leaving the Bible is leaving God. John is saying that we are to be carrying forward the Name of Jesus Christ....and that we should have an active voice as we have our walk with Him.

Proverbs 29:2 reminds us of this: When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.
The consequences proved people would groan……….but allowing a God-loving man to rule, we find peace and joy. Whether it is with us, with a spouse, with leaders who allow God to rule their leadership and then within our country!
1.   In our lives
2.   Within our homes
3.   In our communities and country

But there is a Rule that tends toward the narsacistic……..Paul writes of this in Acts 26:4-5: My manner of life from my youth, which was spent from the beginning among my own nation at Jerusalem, all the Jews know. They knew me from the first, if they were willing to testify, that according to the strictest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.
Paul Names a Religion, Strict: The Super Righteous:   Super-righteousness is a beginning step into the super-strict sect!
Jesus described them with this: Matthew 23:21-24 He who swears by the temple, swears by it and by Him who dwells  in it. 22 And he who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by Him who sits on it. 23 Woe to you, scribes & Pharisees, hypocrites!” For you pay tithe of mint & anise and cumin & have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice & mercy & faith. These you ought to have done without leaving the others undone. 24 Blind guides who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!
These Pharisees did not look inwardly. They were morally defiled!   These Pharisees took on themselves to make God strict and so added their own traditions to His laws! They taught their own doctrine!
The foul fruit of super-righteousness is pride: Solomon cautions strongly in Ecclesiastes 7: 7-10 Surely oppression and extortion make a wise man foolish, and a bribe destroys the understanding & judgment. 8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning of it, & the patient in spirit better than the proud in spirit. 9 Do not be quick in spirit to be angry or vexed, for anger and vexation lodge in the bosom of fools. 10 Do not say, why were the old days better than these? For you do not inquire wisely concerning this.

Pride destroys relationships, whether with God or man. The proud person demands attention & submission that can never be satisfied. That means one must be submitted to them, their time and to their trouble. It is the height of being self-centered. They are demanding, with displays in various degrees of narcissism.  Certainly it was their narcissism, that drove the Pharisees to their absolute end: not to recognize God in the flesh through His teachings
They, like Satan, were always actively on the attack against Him. They were the successful: yes! By manipulating political and religious pressures to the extent that they, with the help of the Romans and Sadducees, put Him to death.
The Narcissistic  behavior will showboat their good works. It is a behavior that loves to be catered to, & not to serve anyone else; They much desire public praise and love to receive titles!   They are reliable but in that which is always looking down on others as inferiors ..

Remember Luke 18 of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector?..... Luke 18:11-13  NKJV  The Pharisee stood & prayed thus with himself, God I thank You that I am not like other men---extortion-ers, unjust, adulterers or even  as this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ 13 And the tax collector, standing afar oft would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!”
From Ecclesiastes 7:8 we find Solomon addressing the proud spirit. . 8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning of it, & the patient in spirit better than the proud in spirit. 9 Do not be quick in spirit to be angry or vexed, for anger and vexation lodge in the bosom of fools.
For you and I can find ourselves looking back to yesteryear and placing it on Facebook. We might want to remind others of some great moment back then because we have none to post of this moment. So eagerly, we shift to yesterday. But in those moments are we planting life, that which relates to Christ or is it something else?
We must find patience in today, for the proud and angry one will always choose to have their way! Yes, the one in anger can always point to that day when things did not go the way they had planned. And within that moment all points to that person not having patience but pride in themselves. But pride only teaches discontentment! Pride leads to a negative outlook on life! And the negative person will always gravitate toward other negative people. But patience teaches us to endure the day, and to endure the situations of unreasonable people. But the person of patience will always look toward the future always being brighter.
So the next time you see horror on your streets, whether road rage on I-5 or anywhere that someone has no patience with other drivers, or you hear of another life has been take by an armed person with no love for their neighbor, no but only discontented with his own life, he chooses to end the lives of others as he does his own. In truth, the discontented are empty without the life of God. And for those who knew God but have walked away because their love grew colder for their brethren, well it looks or appears as those desiring to have favor like the wicked do. But going after that kind of praise or glory is no glory at all. For those choosing the spotlight in the moment but only bringing shame to their name can only expect wrath that comes with that kind of living. Truly the Lord is our safe refuge. May you and I stay within the confines of His instructions in the word of truth. May we know that it came to us with great mercy and grace......so that we might be the example of His love to others of that great love indeed!
