Is Impossible to Find or Is it?

In spending time reading in the book of Revelation, one finds the heart of Jesus for mankind to heed the Father’s voice. But sad to say,
Christians are the victims of an age that is apathetic to a true relationship with God. Would anybody in all honesty admit that he would not care to eat a meal with and fellowship with Jesus Christ? Yet, He is reporting that in His own church there are some who know that He is at the door, yet will not rouse themselves to answer it and fellowship with Him! They are refusing to fellowship with Him. They are so far from Him that they do not even see their need. If there is no awareness of need, there is no desire; no desire, no prayer; no relationship, and back to no awareness of need. It runs in a vicious circle.

We find such wording found also in the book of Matthew for those to take heed and repent.

In  this hour we are to endure. To hold one’s ground in conflict, bear up against adversity and yes to stand firm in our faith! But where does faith lie in us?

“Repentance grows as faith grows. Do not make any mistake about it; repentance is not a thing of days and weeks, a temporary penance to be gotten over as fast as possible! No; it is the grace of a lifetime, like faith itself. God's little children repent, and so do the young men and the fathers. Repentance is the inseparable companion of faith.”
― Charles H. Spurgeon ( All Grace)

Matthew 24:3-14 NKJV 3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying “Tell us when will these things be? & what will be the sign of Your coming & of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered & said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ & will deceive many. 6 “ And you will hear of wars & rumors of wars. See that you are not troubles for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 “For nation will rise against nation, & kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences ( Covid -19 or Hantivirus) & earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, & will hate one another. 11”Then many false prophets will rise up & deceive many. 12 “& because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

Matthew 24:15-28   NKJV 15 Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place” whoever reads, let him understand, 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 “But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s those days will be shortened. 23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ! Or There’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive if possible, even the elect. 25 “See, I have told you beforehand.” 26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert! Do not go out; or ‘LOOK, He is in the inner rooms!’ Do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 “For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.” 29 “For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. “30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.   (He CONTINUES with The Coming of the Son of Man in verses 29-31, the Parable of the Fig Tree in verses 32-35, No one Know the Day or Hour verses 36-44 and the Faithful Servant and the Evil Servant.)

From the above scripture, repentance is involved. Down below we find no repentance in men or women. Tribulation is evident and His return is certain. Destruction is coming! Earthquakes increase as does famine increase.

Luke 17:20-37 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 “nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘see there!’ For indeed, the kingdom  of God is within you.” 22 Then he said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23 And they will say to you; ‘Look here!” or ‘Look there!’ Do not go after them  or follow them. 24 For as lightening that fleshed out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the son of Man will be in His day. 25 “But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26 “and as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 “They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 “Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 “but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 “even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. 32 “Remember Lot’s wife.” 33 “Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. 34 “I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed; the one will be taken and the other will be left. 35 “Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. 36 “Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left. 37 and they answered and said to Him, “Where Lord?” So He said to them, “Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together .

Here we find a famine, not of bread, nor for water but of hearing the words of the Lord.   Amos 8:11-12 NKJV  11 "Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord GOD,

"That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water,

But of hearing the words of the LORD. 12 They shall wander from sea to sea,

And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD,

But shall not find it.

Terrible times occur. We can see today, people needing some kind of SNAP program, but it is being taking from the hungry to feed the greedy with green backs on their minds. Unfortunately when God's Word is most needed to help the people come to repentance, it will be almost impossible to find. When the people finally realize that God wants them to repent, it will be too late. The seeds of their destruction have been sown, and the crop is already ripe. The only truth available to them in the tumult of God's judgment is what they can remember. It is for this reason that God warns us in these times to "[redeem] the time, because the days are evil" (Ephesians 5:16). Spend time reading. Spend time rehearsing the words of the Lord’s return.

If our hope is in the Kingdom of God, the resurrection of the dead, and sharing life with God eternally are not sufficient to motivate us to repent, perhaps fear of a terrible calamity, the Great Tribulation, the Day of the Lord, or being spewed from God's mouth as a Laodicean will move us to use the present to secure the future. God prophesies to motivate us to cling to Him and His Word right now, and He is willing to scare us nearly to death in order to save us.

During this famine, "They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, but shall not find it" (Amos 8:12). Amos probably refers to the Dead and Mediterranean Seas, east to west, and adds "north to east," describing a triangle with the south direction left out. Why would he do this? It is on a map of Palestine, the Dead Sea lies to the east, the Mediterranean to the west and the nation of Israel to the north. What lies to the south? Jerusalem, where the truth was! In Amos' day, the truth was taught in God's Temple in Jerusalem. It was the Israelites that wanted to be known as seekers of the truth of God. But reality they did not want it. They would not humble themselves.

A tremendous word appears: Wander can be rendered "stagger" like a drunk or "tremble" like lips quivering in agitation because one is so angry or fearful he is unable to speak. It shows the people in a state of panic and intense agitation. They are desperately searching for what they had regarded so lightly: God, the Bible, His truth. But they cannot find them anywhere!

Today we cannot find a truthful headline of news. It is trying to put puzzle pieces together to find truth. Thankfully the Lord gives us His truth in the Bible. For today many are seeking any kind of religion, and many will fall prey to false ones. This scenario is already happening in modern Israel. New Age, mystical, and Eastern religions are growing steadily, and many "Christians" feel free to borrow "truth" from other religions. Additionally, recent years have seen the rise of ecumenical movements within a broad spectrum of religious bodies.

Is it not common to find mosques located in your city? This was a nation built on the Biblical standards of God our Father. Will we speak His truth, repent when sinning and turn from wickedness to righteous ways?

Nuclear missiles anyone? How many missiles would U. S. have on hand? How far will those “old” one reach in a need? And will they do the job or only make a lot of smoke and spread deadly gas?  Just from a Michael Snyder writing, I received that Vladimir Putin just tested an area the size of Texas and destroy it in its entirety.  The RS-28 Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile has a maximum speed of approximately 15,500 miles per hour. It is roughly the height of a four story building. It can carry up to 10 metric tons of thermonuclear warheads, and those warheads can destroy a land area the size of Texas.

Ah, this is the crown jewel of Putin indeed! Anyone one single Sarmat will release 16 independently-target-able nuclear warheads. One goes up and 16 come down, and will take out sixteen cities. Anyone for toast right now? This can show up at year’s end on the schedule of Russia and its leaders!

What say you? I remember living through the Bay of PIGS: the Cuban Missile Crisis and we need Jesus. We should not wait till one is on the death bed. Your end or mine might be sooner than expected. But thankful the Lord hears our prayers for these Russian leaders. Being school aged and living in central Texas, in the fall of 1962. It was a crisis of weeks. It lasted from October 16 to October 28, 1962. (Hiding under a desk will not help you)

For Jesus, His own neighbors rejected Him. They saw interruption in their lifestyle, in their own thinking, but chose to carry on in their unbelief. They chose sin over Him! Some people just want to be right all the time. But we cannot be that way ….we must have God guiding us with His eye. Certainly those who were astonished also became those who were ready to kill Him. They wanted Jesus gone however they had to do it. But truth ruled Jesus’ life. The truth of God carried Him to the Cross and then to the right hand of God in Heaven.

We are warned in these books. Luke gives us that one will be taken and another left to their sin. What is first on our schedule today? Might REPENTANCE rule over our day when someone is close to hitting that RED BUTTON?

Insanity

Mark 5:15  NKJV  15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.

Seen on the news those in their nudity parading in front of the public, especially in front of children. But here in Mark 5:15 this man was found sane, fully clothed and in his right mind.

Luke 8:35  NKJV 35  Then they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.

People who wandered were found in their insanity. Fools, not wise men, reject God (Psalm 14:1), and sin invites Satan into a person's mind. Ultimately, his influence causes madness.

1.   Is seen as on who indulges….in the day of discovery, man has freed himself of God. He readily unplugs his conscience and can do whatever his own heart desires while answering to no one else. He is the supreme god. He can change the rules if he wants. He can partake of the forbidden fruit  in that which brings them to that speaking: “I’m okay, Your okay”

2.   The demonic teaching set forth by satan is that which attempts to displace God’s truth: like with High-muh-nee-uhs and Alexander.

4.   Paul warns Timothy, as a leader for the second generation of Christians In 2 Timothy 1:13-14…., “Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit that dwells in us.

Jesus explains: "When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order" (Luke 11:24-25). When a demon is removed, a person's mind is cleaned of chaos and made orderly. To avoid being possessed again, he needs to replace what was swept out with God's Spirit and truth.

The words "right mind" (Mark 5:15; Luke 8:35) suggest the controlling of thoughts and actions, so it indicates, not only sanity, but also self-control. The demons in the men are uncontrollable ("neither could anyone tame him," Mark 5:4), but when Jesus comes, they recognize God's authority over them. Evil people cannot control their desires, and society cannot control them, so crime rages on. Living God's way of life as revealed in the life of Christ is the answer. God provides the right mind to produce the fruit of the Spirit, including self-control (Galatians 5:23).

Looking at Roman 1:22 Professing to be wise, they became foolish 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man---and birds and four -footed animals and creeping things.

There are citizens on the upper east coast having parades with them dressed as some animal they relate to.  People without God are given up to increasingly immoral and self-destructive activities.

There was a spirit of insanity found in King Saul:  When Saul inquired of the Lord and the Lord did not answer, he went to a woman with the spirit of divination.

1 Sam 28:6-7: And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams nor by Urim, nor by prophets. Then Saul said unto his servants, ‘Seek me a woman that has a familiar spirit that I may go to her, and enquire of her’.  And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that has a familiar spirit at Endor.

Like Saul, when many people today seek of the LORD and the LORD does not answer, they seek people with spirit of divination.

To seek and use spirit of divination is provoking God to anger.  2 Kings 17:17: And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.  Has the Bible not revealed your future if you are the Christian you claim to be? Has God not told us we will inherit heaven?  You seek to know your future because you are worried about tomorrow. You are worried that God will wait too long to accomplish His plan for you. Understand God is waiting on us.  Jesus Christ spoke this in Matthew 6:25-34 do not be worried about tomorrow......and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

Madness, blindness, and confusion of heart is seen in those who disobey His Voice and for failing to observe His commandments. (Deuteronomy 28:15) How choosing one's own way brings destruction is found :

Examples of suicide in the Bible:

Saul ( 1 Samuels 31:1-6; 1 Chronicles 10:4-5)

the first king of Israel

Suicide by falling on his sword once wounded; 1 Chron. 10:14 says the Lord killed Saul

2 Samuel 1:10 says an Amalekite killed Saul; 2 Samuel 1:10 says the Philistines killed Saul.

Saul's armor Bearer seen in 1 Samuel 31:1-6; 1 Chronicles 10:4-5

Suicide by falling on his sword, Saul disobeyed God

Ahithophel: 2 Samuel 17:23

A counselor to David and Absalom; Suicide by hanging when his advice was spurned, He chose to follow Absalom and not King David

Zimri found in 1 King 16:15-19

The fifth king of Israel; Suicide when deposed, after a week, by structural fire.

Judas Iscariot found in Matthew 27:3-5; Acts 1:15-19

One of the 12 disciples, Suicide by hanging after betrayal of Jesus, Taken by his greed for money, he wanted others to perform his plan.

    • Observations;
      • All of the biblical examples of successful suicide are men.

This act is insanity. It is a spiral collapse of those who once knew God, chose their own way. Destruction was seen in them all. In most cases to, these seem to want to take others with them in this horror.  We are to have hope in this life. We have trials and tribulations. We can have loss of a loved one, the loss of job or maybe that loss of walking with your own legs. But for me, I know the Lord is the chosen path, it is one where you walk again, and see the the goodness of the Lord.

Many today have already had a loss of their life due to taking drugs. They signed on the dotted line for death to be immediate. But a believer will walk facing the future trials knowing a greater life is ahead in Jesus. And ask anyone who might have that grey hair on their head. They know the trials and the work to keep a marriage together for a lifetime to the same person.

Hunger and thirst must be our heart for the Lord: to fill our heart with the water of His word; To be cleansed Purity of Heart : Matthew 5:8  NKJV  (8) Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

Purity of heart is a work in progress in which both God and man share responsibility. Many scriptures show that God will cleanse by pardoning sin. But our responsibility in cleansing is very important and frequently mentioned along with what we must do to be cleansed. Clearly given here by James, he points to the purifying as our responsibility: "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded" (James 4:8).

EXPOSE   these unfruitful works of darkness. You can hear it daily on some news network. THE Unfruitful is the barren; without any fruit that is acceptable to God. And it bears the boast in man and not God!  1 John 1:3…The Holy Spirit said, “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His son Jesus Christ”

That which was revealed by the apostles is necessary to have fellowship with them and with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.   THE MESSAGE…. that “God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5). Since “darkness” is in definite contrast with “light,” and since God is “light” and in Him is no darkness at all, whatever “darkness” is, it is completely contrary and oppressive to the nature and essence of God. God is truth, and in Him is no lie. In Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5).  WE must walk in the light as He is in the light to have fellowship with him.

We are to be accountable that our walk is in the Light of God. Our boast is to be in Him! He provided a way through salvation in Him. Our conscience is to carry that knowing right from wrong. It is gained through knowing God and His Word. It is our righteousness that is maintained by the Holy Spirit and in His presence is the fullness of joy. Amen.

Will we deeply grieve over the filth that is still lurking within ourselves? Is there just a hint in our own conscious of a foul thought, a vile imagination, or evil desires? Do we mourn over our pride?  God came to wash us in the blood of Christ, and we are to abide in that which is of grace and mercy. Without that shed blood we are the lost in rags!

Indifferent as to being the Arrogant

Laodicea was labeled the carnal church. Neither hot nor cold, spiritually in that realm God finds a tepidness as to being unappealing. The warnings are for slackness and to conquer any sin in their lives if listed that way. He is returning and will come to Judge!

The Lukewarm Church at Laodecia: Revelation 3:15-22 NKJV “ I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold nor hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm & neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 “Because you say, I am rich, having become wealthy, & have need of nothing--& do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, & naked---18 “I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich & white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; & anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke & chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 “Behold, I stand at the door & knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, ‘I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame & sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

A question: Are we just indifferent to what is going on around us?  Lukewarm water is nauseating. The world wants you to lead us down a spiral of death. I am always amazed how many want to lead you with "boots on the ground". Now if you cannot sing, then praise Jesus. If you cannot dance, then dance for Jesus. If you cannot write an encouragement to others, then pray for them. Pray to reach those who require Jesus in this hour of need.

The Original comes from heaven.  The Actual Substance of Him is the anointing by faith. But those of the culture of this world spread their ideas through the empty traditions of human beings and the empty superstition of spirit beings, but that is not the way of Christ. Everything of God is expressed in Him, so you & I  can see and hear HIM clearly. You do not need a telescope, a microscope or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ & the emptiness of the universe without him. God needs the faithful hearer of Him not a sometime hearer and sometime doer.

Straight forward talk with God is His wisdom.   Psalm 85:8-13 Amplified Bible…I will listen [with expectancy] to what God the Lord will say, for He will speak peace to His people, to His saints (to those who are in right standing with Him) but let them not turn back to(self-confident) folly. 9 Surely His salvation is near to those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him [and is ready to appropriate] that [the manifest presence of God, His] glory may tabernacle and abide in our land.  The only tent or tabernacle is you and me…

We have the Holy Spirit who abides in us! If sin occurs then He is steadfast by giving correction but the unfaithful will move away. It is finding where one resides if they choose worldly ways.

We are not to compromise: a group who wants to change God and His word will compromise your integrity of faith……….. Romans 6:16-20 …NKJV…..16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. The churches of Christ greet you. 17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions & offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, & avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. 19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, & simple concerning evil. ( evil speaking going on )20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

1.   1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God.  I speak this to your shame.

2.   Here Paul quotes from a third century B.C. writer from Athens Menander. To show that our lives are influenced by what we believe with whom we are associate.

Righteousness is related to salvation, forgiveness of sin, & eternal life…See in Romans 1:16-17 NKJV For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.; Romans 6:23; Romans 8:1-2; Romans 10:1

The righteousness of God is exhibited (lived out and seen) in the believer’s life…Please see in Romans 6:15-16 NKJV  What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slave whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness.

In Christ, we are given a new position which is defined and motivated to practice. In unity with Him in His death and resurrection, we know Christ is made into what God requires.  The Lord wants the church to repent and turn. He wants them to be zealous for Him and His kingdom which is coming.

Fellowship is an ongoing thing. Fellowship with Him is our responsibility. Is our life conformed to the word of God? Do people hear Jesus speak through us or is it something else?

Heard this guy speaking that in one act of culture, he now has an extra five thousand followers on his Instagram. I want you to read this, but I desire you follow Him who gives you life. I cannot give you life but I can encourage you to follow Jesus, hear Him speak His wisdom to guide you to the kingdom of God.

Jesus was obedient to His Father to the end, and his final word before his death on the Cross was a prayer to His Father. The relationship of Jesus to the Father is given in John 3:16 “ For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus declared, “The Father and I are one.” John 10:30

Jesus declared: John 14:10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me?” The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

He had a return ticket: "I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father" John 16:28

Jesus fulfills His own mission and that of His Father on the Cross! He directs His final word, “Father, into Your hands I commend My spirit. Luke 23:46

"Now when the centurion saw what had taken place, he praised God and said, "Certainly this was a righteous Man" (Luke 23:47).

This church, Laodecia, is one written about as those being indifferent, to being the arrogant, those only lukewarm. Do we speak like Jesus spoke from the Cross? Do our lives imitate His life on earth?

I had warned a few of the readers of this blog to be watchful for vultures gathering, for scripture tells us that they will come together for that "BIG" banquet of men and women left behind in their boots on the ground. I told Mr. Mike we had two vultures in this area for about 5 years. This year in January we had three circling. This week, the last week of August we have 8 vultures circling. Oh my! So let me know Candace, Buffy and Betty if you see many circling vultures! (Matthew 24:28) We are closer to Jesus' return, and we should be ready to go in the righteous kingdom of God.

How many vultures circle your city? Pay attention to the skies! They know He is coming soon! Amen.

Salvation: Walk of the Spirit

Jesus spoke of the spiritual life. Found in John 18:36 "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight; so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.

Ruled by their senses, they, the Pharisees, Sadducees and scribes  spoke and did their hearts desire. They crucified the Lord of glory. They were of this world. And it is Satan's spirit that permeates this world, and it works in those who disobey, as Paul writes in Ephesians 2:1-3.

Ephesians 2:1-3 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

Such was our condition before God regenerated us and endued us with His Spirit. However, the indwelling of God does not mean that our former selves have been banished. Thus, the epistles urge us to put off the works of the flesh, the hidden things of darkness, and the old man. Corruption will remain until the day of our resurrection or change when we finally put on in-corruption. Until then, we wrestle with the law of sin and death at work in our members, struggling to keep our old man bound in chains.

But when we let down, we release our old man for a little while. Like Satan, he goes to war against God and man just as soon as his chains slacken. What remains of Satan's image in us is ever-ready to spring forth and risk all the spiritual abundance we have received.

It is a walk in the word of God. Power is in God and not Satan.

Philippians 2:12-15  NKJV  12  Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. 14  Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15  that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

These four verses admonish us on what God expects of us as the child in our relationship with Him. It is important for us to understand that "work out your salvation" does not mean work for salvation. It means we must take what God has given us to its logical conclusion. God liberated Israel from Egyptian slavery, but His purpose was not complete until they trekked across the wilderness and possessed the Promised Land. Their liberty came as an act of God's grace, but that same grace required them to meet responsibilities and carry them to their conclusion.

Verse 13 explains that God's grace did not end at the borders of Egypt for them, nor does it end for us once we are justified. He gives us both the motivation and the power to accomplish what His pleasure is for us. But we should understand that He gives us the desire and power to accomplish His will, not our pleasures. This is an excellent principle for parents to apply in motivating their children to respond positively. Children are largely the creations of their parents. If parents expect their children to reach certain goals, they must equip them with the attitudes, skills, and tools necessary to accomplish those aims. ( It is what God has placed in each of them as children, and not of you the adult!)

"Fear and trembling" indicates both a deep respect for the Almighty who has called us, as well as a healthy measure of concern for uncertainties about what will be required of us as we proceed along this way. As we spiritually mature, the trials we must work through generally become more difficult, not easier. When the Philippians took up their cross, they did not know for sure what lay ahead, nor do we. For them, it was conflict (Philippians 1:29-30); for Jesus, death (Philippians 2:8); for Paul, martyrdom (Philippians 2:17); for Timothy, costly sacrificial service to the church (Philippians 2:20); and for Epaphroditus, physical illness nearly to death (Philippians 2:27).

Of course, these things are far more serious than a child's responsibility to put his room in order, but we must consider if God is fair in His dealings with man. Is a parent fair in charging his children with responsibilities to carry out around the house? Being part of a family will always mean to participate with those parents in charge. And is God in charge of our lives when we become the born again? Lifted out of death to live with Jesus in our hearts, do we lean into His words to continue to live and walk daily in His truth?

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. 15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

Acts 28:28 "Therefore let it be known to you that  the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles and they will hear it!"

This always catches my attention! This is God speaking because he ( or she) has set his (her) love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him (her).

Psalm 91:14 Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.15 he shall call upon Me, and I will answer Him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.16 with long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.

Dialogue is present when Love Protects! Seeking His counsel, spending times of refreshing with Him; and by loving Him and walking closely with Him through every day, we enter into a sheltered place of promise not only regarding our health but the love that protects. This is salvation, a walk of regarding God, and resting in that refreshing time with Him.

John 14:24-27 Amplified Bible 24 Anyone who does not [really ] love Me does not observe and obey My teaching. And the teaching which you hear and heed is not Mine, but [comes] from the Father Who sent Me. 25 I have told you these things while I am still with you. 26 But the Comforter  (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And he will cause you to recall ( will remind you of, bring to your remembrance ) everything I have told you. 27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled].

Jesus had dialog with the Father: 24 Anyone who does not [really ] love Me does not observe and obey My teaching. And the teaching which you hear and heed is not Mine, but [comes] from the Father Who sent Me. 25 I have told you these things while I am still with you.

1.   The person fearful, intimated, cowardly and unsettled will walk with hands outward, not to worship God but to complain in their muddied water…muddied condition…a muddied environment!

2.   Holy Spirit gives clear counsel, gives us ability to remember everything Jesus spoke when we know what He has spoken

3.   Jesus said: “do not permit” yourselves to be the agitated, disturbed, fearful, intimidated, cowardly and unsettled; Peter was warned: love others as I have loved you; Being a disciple of Jesus we are to love other disciples of Jesus, We are to love our neighbors as ourselves!

From verse 27 “Peace I leave with you”: Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.   Christ’s peace is to control our thoughts and emotions. AND to Be the thankful! Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1.   Phi. 4:9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.  We are to focus our thoughts on that which is pure, lovely, virtuous and praiseworthy.

2. "The Psalms will certainly speak to your heart when dealing with any sickness or disease. I rely on it daily! Psalm 27: 1 The Lord is my light and salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Maintaining God’s peace by focusing with interest & ambition heavenward to cultivate His values: Colossians 3:1-16 NKJV  If then you were raised with Christ seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, & your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. 5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth, fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire,& covetousness, which is idolatry. 6Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

1.   So Paul lists those things we once lived in as to: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, covetousness which is idolatry

2.   These come under the wrath of God and pertain to disobedience...........  Why stop these? Because the wrath of God is coming upon those who participate and practice that disobedience.

3.  Idolatry is the activity of the “human heart” :It starts in the heart, craving, wanting, enjoying, being satisfied by anything that you treasure more than God. This covetousness, a disordered love or desire, loving more than God what ought to be loved less than God and only for the sake of God.

4.   Jesus warned Peter! Peter was to make note to “love one another; as I (Jesus) have loved you, that you also love one another. It is a heart ordered right in God and in His image!

Colossians 3:8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

1.   Living under that old man lifestyle : we are to put off anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language

2.   We are to speak no evil

Colossians 3:9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10  &  have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, 11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all & in all. 12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy & beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, & forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

1.   The new man does not lie: but only gives what is that renewed knowledge of God and according to the image of God;New man is merciful, kind, humble, meek, longsuffering and always forgiving

Colossians 3: 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.  16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Bond of perfection is God’s love: Put it on! With the Holy Spirit, hardness will turn soft, will turn from “me, myself and I” to God’s purpose on earth! AGAIN  From Colossians 3:1 we are to seek that which is from above, the heavenly, not the worldly. We must discipline ourselves. We know that we are to "put off" those things that do not reflect the image of God and to "put on" the characteristics that do.

It is easy to see those who walk in lawlessness. We pray for our leaders and we vote for righteous leaders.. And we will become those daily who reflect the glory of God.

Thank you for reading the last blog on my healing. It was a total God thing. Healed on Good Friday....I am able to walk again. I am not fast as of yet, but it is coming. Glory to God, He reigns!
