To the degree in the season of waiting, preparation of our heart
is required to continue to receive Him, our Lord Jesus, and to receive His
power and His glory when we sow those seeds in Him. When we sow to His Spirit,
we reap His spirit and His power. Sowing His peace in our lives, we present our
lives that are established in the government of God.
Faith is alive in us when we boldly give voice to God, the Son
Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. He overshadows in His protection which is of
His power! Will you and I understand the power and authority He commands
when we allow Him to flow to us and through us? And that those very decisions
we make, should be made with a focus on Him and not on any man?
Yet, we will see what the word of God teaches us when we are not
the prepared?
The Jews were looking for a Conquering Messiah, they got a
Suffering Messiah. When He appeared before them in ministering healing with the
word of God in teaching, they did not know what to do with Him. They latched
onto the man Moses and to religion!
What they refused, what they did not make room for in their hearts
and lives went to the Gentiles. You can read those teachings and hear Peter’s
speech about the Gospel of Grace that was given to Gentiles and how the Jews
and the religious group reviled him. It is found in the book of Acts. Still
that place was prepared and whether we receive it, is up to our hearts and
thinking!
God prepared the Garden of Eden for a family. They chose to reject
His authority and do “their own thing”. The woman spoke to a creature that
appeared as a snake. Although he must have walked at the time, his speaking
brought him to kicking up dust. Adam and his wife no longer had a view of the
presence of God and were outside of that place with Him.
BUT God planned. The Creator expanded to establish His plan from
heaven on earth. The Engineer conceived the idea……..planned thoughtfully for us
and about us. Galatians 3:13-18…NKJV ….Christ has redeemed us from the
curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed
is everyone who hangs on a tree"), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might
come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of
the Spirit through faith. 15 Brethren, I speak in the manner of men: Though
it is only a man's covenant, yet if it is confirmed, no one annuls or
adds to it. 16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He
does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to
your Seed," who is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot
annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no
effect. 18 For if the
inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to
Abraham by promise.
We have the Spirit of Promise. He reveals to us
what the grace of God speaks to those who believe.
Revelation 2:18-29 NKJV 18 And to the angel of
the church in Thyatira write, 'These things says the Son of God who has eyes
like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: 19 "I know your works,
love and service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are
more than the first. 20 "Nevertheless I have an few things against you,
because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach
and seduce my servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to
idols. 21" And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality and she
did not repent. 22 "Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed and those who
commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their
deeds. 23 "I will kill her children with death and all the churches shall
know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each
one of you according to your works. 24"Now to you I say, and to the rest
in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the
depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. 25 "But
hold fast what you have till I come. 26 And he who overcomes and keeps My works until the end to him I will
give power over nations----27'He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall
be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels'----as I also have received from
My Father; 28 "and I will give him the morning star. 29 He who has an ear,
let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."
We have a warning here given! From verse 26, "he who
overcomes and keeps My works until the end to him I will give power over
nations." John 6:29 "This is
the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."
The most singular and primary emphasis falls on "works"
and it is not our works but falls on believing, that "trust" in the
One Whom God sent: Jesus!
You can love others without Jesus and the price He paid for you.
If we cannot believe on the virgin birth, where the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary
to bring Jesus forward to life on earth, then we miss God and the work of His
Son Jesus Christ!
My sister had gotten this timely vision or dream from the Lord
back in mid May of this year 2020 and in it how our President Trump would stand
against commercialism in this nation of the U. S and that he was committed to see change come with legal documentation. And it is timely indeed in
that we see much is put out to commercialize anything to make a buck, you know
the greenback!
As it were in her vision, it was
a glass building with many floors and we can see that in any nation that puts a
name out there while hanging a pricey tag on it will show what it will cost you and
yours to obtain what they are selling and what they say is the “good things” for you.
One small city in France had opportunity to see an American made
movie in their community. (back in the 20th century in the 1960's) And the actress who played the role was given to play a certain role where the characteristics that so changed the city, that they gave into that
commercialism of bad sexual behavior and never looked back. They put their all,
yes, their name on that one thing to make money and still to this day, it is
talked about even by those who give helicopter rides to the region. But there
is nothing there to view. It is the same town with little to view, where food is on a menu, but what other "things" of bad behavior exists there?
On the same tour, one would see all those cathedrals in the cities
miles away and I would wonder, why someone would claim the immorality in one
breath of a small community and then gravitate toward the other thing in the city just miles away in a moment. Oh yeah, the goal was
about making money in whatever arena of life! So one goes in to watch, (to eat)
that movie of an R-rated type thing and that is one that will seduce the
watcher to do the same thing no matter where they live, the married might
gravitate toward another like themselves and not their own age. YIKES!
Of all the nations that have given in to this kind of temptation,
they have fallen under that spell that compels them to make more of those
kind of movies that tempt one even further, for the flesh wants what it wants and yes to know and see how
far it can go for more entertainment and more money.
But as we have seen from the year 2020 and
coronavirus out of China, what drives people to be number 1 and you can see from what their focus, their hearts' desire and what they give voice too, will not give up, not
now and not ever for God and His glory! No, it is what their heart wants! That power
comes with a price and many will play the game and pay it with their lives.
So how has it played out in that commercialism in any nation? Well, football in this nation has been noticeable indeed. The numbers are way down as well as the attitude toward it.
How about shopping? Yes that is way down in popularity. Too many are scared
they will get something if they go out of their house! My question is this: “do
you think that virus will jump your house and go to the next house because you
keep inside and your windows closed?
What about having a meal with some friends? Yeah, six feet of
distancing please, and if you don't give distance then they will somehow know
you did not distance yourself.
There is fancy price tags on the products in the pharmaceutical
industry. This giant in pharmaceuticals will direct your every waking
moment to their commercials to advertise they can take away the pain away and take the edge off! They will show this “model” with heavy duty make-up on and a glamorous
type attire while taking some sleep aid to
rest at night, give you another aid to take away the pain of a headache of too
much alcohol, and then they direct you to the next latest and greatest aid to ward off
the big name diseases but these are just add-ons to bringing your health into
more chaos and yes a possible death!
We just had a teaching on what fungus causes and people think
it is cancer, but after tests were done, it was only fungus that should have been removed from the body. Did the
doctor mention that an avenue to that leading might be the good path to follow? No! For one patient they jumped right into to doing chemotherapy on them! I know doctors did not mention that to us when sickness appeared some years ago. And you know some of that fungus is from peanuts ( not carefully stored )and some grains breads. Yikes again!
We must move closer to Jesus, stay away
from the edge of the cliff of folly and to focus on health that is within God’s
word! When our minds are stayed on Him, we gain control of our thought
life and we fill our mind with His thoughts for us that are the true, the
noble, the pure, the lovely, the virtuous, good report & gives praise to
God! Joy will flow in our speaking to others, Joy comes from within and
triumphs over the circumstance
Billy Graham the Evangelist said: Happiness depends on
circumstances, but joy depends on God.
I am thankful we are not distanced from God. We have Him in our
hearts but how many will hold fast to Him when things continue to go sideways.
When we are truly led by Him, He is a BIG God to overshadow anything on our
pathway! Mary held onto God, believed and trusted in His leading and the
Consolation was seen by Simeon on the day Jesus was presented in the Temple.
Simeon had come into the temple led by the Spirit of God and he
took Jesus in his arms: Luke 2:29-31 Lord, now You are letting Your servant
depart in peace, according to your word; 30 For my eyes have seen Your
salvation 31 which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, 32 a light
to bring revelation to the Gentiles and the glory of Your people Israel.
After this occurred, we are told that Joseph and Jesus' mother
marveled at those things which were spoken of Him. It was Simeon who blessed
them and said to Mary His mother: "behold this Child is destined for the
fall and rising of many in Israel and for a sign which will be spoken against
35 yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also, that the thoughts of
many hearts may be revealed.
What occurred here, what was spoken will determine every heart: that
includes yours and mine!
It was Paul who warned
Timothy, a leader of second generation Christians to “Hold fast the pattern of
sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ
Jesus. That good things which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who
dwells in us. ( 2 Timothy 1:13-14)
As the church of God
we are to be the responsible and not drift away from the truth. We are to hold
fast and ancient Israel did not “hold fast” to the truth that God had given to
her.
At the foundation of every
community is a way of life that its people live and teach their children. Does
that way of life conform to the God of the Bible, or is it just something that
springs from the mind of men? And we know that if it is of men, it will
not work very long or not at all! And so it was in Israel. The religion of Israel
began with a man, Jeroboam I, who changed the true worship of God seen in 1
Kings 12:26-33. (this is worthy to read for
it reveals at what depths and lengths many will go to change something for
their benefit but has no connection with truly worshiping God!)
Prepared means that each
person born into this world will have to make a decision. And your children,
that baby under the age of one year old will have to make a decision as well.
When they are old enough to understand, they should already know the name of
Jesus!
There shall be no other
gods before Him! Our love is to be greater for God and Jesus than for our own
family members. They are still to be loved but not at the expense of losing
your soul forever to the depths of hell one cannot escape out of evil!
Our love today is to be for
God in the number one place. Then your spouse, your children, and your church
or that of believers! But first place is always God and it is not for
anything else.
If our heart finds other things to take first place in our heart
we will fall by the wayside. If our heart betrays with things then what will
occur if we live longer to see the anti-christ begin to come on the scene?
There are those who are pre-tribe, those who are mid-tribe and many who are
post-tribe, but I have read Revelation 5, have you?
Still the demand to put this on, stand this far apart, don't eat
without your mask on and stay locked up.....that feeding that baby under the age
of one might become where the heart will not live for Jesus, but die! You have
food on hand but not for baby! But to get it you have to choose another over
God and over the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, are we prepared for in this day and within
this hour that our hearts would hear G-O-D
and be obedient to Him? Faith counts in God. Faith trusts in God alone for what we might require!
I always think of “being “prepared in the story of Corrie
Ten-Boom. She and her family who were Jews were sent to the concentration camps
under the German leadership. She survived and they died! But in their walk
through that treacherous ordeal they held onto Jesus. And what they, Corrie and
her sister had prayed many times was not so much for food but for fleas. Yes,
because the officers wore woolen suits and those fleas could hold themselves in
that wool fabric to live and thrive without dying. So when they the officers heard of fleas in
some of the barracks, they stayed far, far away. And when Corrie and her sister
prayed….fleas were evident, they rejoiced in God alone and were the grateful.
They knew the officers would not come in to harm them or beat them in any manner.
Changes are coming daily! What will we do and how will we act with
these days of great upheaval. Jesus went through the persecution and held onto
the Father. He did not put His family first before Him. He was serving the Father
and glorifying Him every step of the way.
Jesus lived His life for God and in that He saw those who would
fight Him at every corner of life! They were the arrogant and the lawless! Let’s
not be irritated by God’s word but looked to be changed for the days are evil! Let's be transformed into His image to act like Him!
May we not be the fainthearted but the powered to carry the
essence of His presence. In this day and within this hour, we bridle our
tongues because of the words of power we release. We overcome because our
total trust is in Him and not any man, woman, minister, but Jesus! Stand firm
and stand close to Him, for the ride is evident, and if you like roller
coasters, you will do fine, but if not…..Jesus is the Lord of glory and our
safe refuge….not your government!
Even now the enemy desires to be loosed….can you hear him speak…to
be free, but we are sons of God! But he the enemy wants his way and use anyone
he desires who attaches themselves to things and other people than to God
Himself. I heard this in prayer and praise yesterday and I told my husband when we ran this errand that afternoon. I believe it to be timely in the prophetic. (November 7, 2020)
I
told him I had seen the enemy trying to be loosed….and I saw that movie of Independence
Day made back in the 20th century with Will Smith. I saw that part
where this alien was brought in ( by Will Smith) and they, the scientific group, medical doctors and specialists were trying to do
tests on him, though he was much alive. And chaos broke out in that medical
room. And the President of the United States and his people prepared to go to see the doctor performing the
operation. Well, when they arrived outside the procedure room, they saw nothing at first but only a fog, then, the main doctor was pushed up against this glass wall, but the “alien” had a tentacle around his throat holding him in place.
And the “alien” spoke….through the doctor….”Release me, Release me.” If you saw this: you will remember the alien spoke in this deep and dark voice!
Well many will release that type of spiritual alien into their
lives, their families and community, but we are to live for God. We must know
those God has appointed for this day and hour….to hold onto faith and pay
attention who is for life and who is for death……because it might be you who
releases the wrong thing…the wrong word that is of death. Pay attention to God has placed for life. Pay attention to those who truly speak God's words even when all hell is breaking loose against this nation and you. LET US BE MEN AND WOMEN OF PRAYER! Let us speak truth
and hold onto to Jesus….and see His kingdom come as the PREPARED! For where ever you might live on this earth....we all need Jesus!
