Conduct in Spiritual Terms

In Matthew 6 we find in verse 33 to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness for when we do this we are told all these things shall be added to you. In a covenant of faithfulness God delivers on His promise.

We must turn to the atmosphere of His word to hear and understand His will. It is the little insignificant things we are to see along the way not in things as great wind, earthquake, or fire. But the still voice of the Lord we are to hear and understand. In the quiet of Him in the midst of chaos, we abide to hear Him speak.

AND Before determining whether we want to imitate or reject how another person acts, we must evaluate—judge—his conduct.

The subject of judging often seems very difficult to grasp. Some use the term "judge" in a generalized way, making assertions such as, "We shouldn't judge one another." Is this true?  There are those who want to judge and justice to rule. But God makes the Justice!  You  can look into any church service and find manipulators.  They want to be the "leader", number 1 and lead you! They can give you some words to flatter you and then use you. Should not be that way but it is truth! That is why prayer is so important in this day and time!

Matthew 7:1  NKJV   "Judge not, that you be not judged.

What is our conduct if others are watching us?

So if we have paid attention to chapter 6, we will seek and be in God’s kingdom, first knowing righteousness, His word to lead us and deliver us into His promise of His added things to us.

Added to you…seeking God’s plan for you the individual

1.   That would entail; living life for the Lord.

2.   Trusting God for your future with an unshakable confidence that he will provide.

3.   Tomorrow can worry about its own things.

4.   Our purpose for being created and converted is to carry His divine image with His eternal values within our heart.

Matthew 7: 2 For with what judgment (condemnation) you judge; you will be judged and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

1.   We are not to judge another’s motives.

2.   We should not judge by appearance: John 7:24.

3.   Not to judge those who have scruples about matters that are neither right or wrong Romans 14:1-5 Message Bible  Welcome with open arms fellow believers who do not see things the way you do. And do not jump all over them every time they do or say something you do not agree with-----( each person’s walk will be different, but all should know Him & believe Him to be God)

Even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department. Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently.

1.   For instance, a person that has been around for a while might well be convinced that by that he can eat anything on the table, while another, with a different background, might assume all Christians should be vegetarians and eat accordingly.

2.   But since both are guests at Christ’s table, would not it be terribly rude if they fell to criticizing what the other ate or did not eat? God, after all, invited them both to the table. Psalm 23 :5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil.

3.   Our spiritual table is set: within those enemies that is with us from early childhood, from that which causes pain even today as from past generations of rejection or hate, yet our table  is set. It is purchased by the precious blood of Jesus. This table is hospitality and we are the secured guests. Secured in His peace, love and joy we are not to hate another or envy them. We have come to the Table the Lord has set as our Shepherd!

If God is truly our Father and Jesus our Lord then that oil of favor is upon us. As the believer we are given the Holy Spirit and we are guaranteed the teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit, our Comforter and our guide.  Message Bible continues: do you have any business crossing people off the guest list or interfering with God’s welcome? If there are corrections to be made or manners to be learned, God can handle that without your help. Or, say, one person thinks that some days should be set aside as holy and another thinks that each day is pretty much like any other. There are good reasons either way. So each person is free to follow the convictions of conscience. What is important in all this that if you keep a holy day, keep it for God’s sake; if you eat meat, eat it to the glory of God and thank God for prime rib; if you are a vegetarian, eat vegetables to the glory of God and thank God for broccoli. None of us are permitted to insist on our own way in these matters.

It is God that we are answerable to----all the way from life to death & everything in between---not each other. That is why Jesus lived & died & then lived again; so that he could be our Master across the entire range of life & death, & free us from the petty tyrannies of each other.

Eventually, we are all going to end up kneeling side by side in the place of judgment, facing God. Your critical & condescending ways are not going to improve your position there one bit. Read it for yourself in scripture.

A main point though is we should maintain pure language in our speaking.  Acts 2:21 (a quotation of Joel 2:38) foretells that "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." In Zephaniah 3:9 one will see that there is another prerequisite to calling on the name of the Lord: There must be a pure language.   In Zephaniah 3:9 the New Kings James Version uses the word "restore," which can be misleading because it implies that all the peoples—all the nations—had a pure language at some point in the past. The Hebrew, though, shows that is not the case. More correctly, the King James Version reads, "I will turn to the people a pure language," while the English Standard Version renders it, "I will change the speech of the people." This verse is speaking about a coming change rather than a return to something that previously existed.  The word translated as "language" also requires a little analysis. The basic meaning of the Hebrew word is "the termination of something," and it is variously translated as "brim," "brink," "edge," and "shore," which all describe terminations. This word is also translated as "lip," another type of edge or termination point. Building on the idea results in a natural progression to words, speech, and thus to language.

Most certainly man has decided to change our language. Not to the pure word but the corrupted word like transgender or to what is real. You calling yourself a cat and wearing a cat uniform does not make it so. But you as man corrupted it! It is in Hebrew thought, the lips are not the only mere edge of the mouth but is also the termination point of the heart. From a small baby to adult, one can use the lips to making sounds.  In this, the real engine of speech is the heart.

Man should consider Proverbs 10:32...."The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked what is perverse."  Only ones heart would have the intelligence of what is either acceptable or the perverse! Proverbs 16:23 states "The heart of the wise teaches his mouth and adds learning to his lips. We know that what is given to us in Proverbs 24:2 is truth...speaking that the hearts of the wicked devise violence, and their lips stir up trouble. The lips are the instrument, but the instigator is the heart!  Jesus told us that "OUT of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

(Matthew 12:34)  In this, we are to see this prophecy of a pure language.  As a believer, your words should continue to speak truth in what is pure and not corrupted language.  Some examples of the play on words: gay, queer, many types of letters as LGBTQ, and as marrying from the Bible , the man and the woman is not listed. It is hate written as graffiti on walls and sidewalks.  When your culturing is degrading, so will your pure language.

We must keep to the word of God.  You will find you and your family profaning reality if not daily in the word of God . You should not accept the corrupted but keep to what God has spoken. This language should be the dominant. The pure language will always reflect the better reality because it will include God! Without Him, we can do nothing!    Is this nation coming to the brink of disaster due to the arrogant disregard for His Word and His principles? May we not be silent in speaking truth of God's word and be active to pray for the one nation under God. For the flag that flies over this nation was born out of conflict and much war. But she stood in God that which was not divided that with liberty and justice all would live in peace because God was in their midst!
