Eternal Value

That eternal value is seeing the future with God. It is viewing the heaven to come. In Ephesians 4:23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you pt on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. A new creation is possible for we find our identification with Him by faith.

Revelation 22:16 " I Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.

The True Acknowledges Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation---right relationship with God.  2 Corinthians  4: 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:17-19 For He received from God the Father honor & glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.” 18 we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. 19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns & the morning star rises in your hearts.

1.   Jesus brought light to reveal error when darkness had appeared through sin

2.   The word confirmed for salvation, healing & deliverance…to live for God by faith in obedience to Him: John 14:6 NKJV 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth & the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. It is the walk of faith in Him!   Having Jesus, is sinning no more

Has the morning star risen in our hearts? Is the light shining to lead us on to eternity? Psalm 37: 1-6  NKJV Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.  3 Trust in the LORD, and do good;   4 Dwell in the land; and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.  5  Commit your way to the LORDS, Trust also in Him, and  6   He shall bring forth you righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

Heart is your intellect, awareness, that inner person....this encompasses both the physical and spiritual. It is to see Jesus speak God's words for life to us.  In the kingdom of God is eternal. It is Jesus leading us home. It is not for you or me to dwell on clouds or float around forever. It is finding our home with Him as He leads us by His example.

Righteousness is what is right with God: " My tongue shall speak of Your word, For all Your commandments are righteousness" (Psalm 119:172). It is the cultivation of the correct moral principles within ourselves. Again the heart of man is involved.  As a nation we should cultivate morality to produce spiritual and social growth. But alas that has nor occurred in many years. Knowing that righteousness is considered as morality of man, it is knowing it is also that foundation of justice. Justice is correct moral practice, the practical application of morality.

Jesus came to bring the Kingdom of God and Israel was not cultivating God's commandments. They were far from moral standards. They lived lives incompatible with knowing the Word of God. It is what we see today in many places of this nation. There is no justice! Just look at the graffiti on city walls. Or have you seen mattresses thrown on the side of highways. We just saw yesterday that someone decided to throw their trash by the roadway. That is not good for man nor animal living in that area.

Or what about being the considerate driver on the roadways? It is not passing you on a curve where view is obstructed. It is not passing using that extra lane intended for traffic coming to meet you.

God can see. He checks our hearts indeed. And that social injustice is noted when exploiting the poor. We have seen in this nation the encouragement toward addictions, and that of teaching small children about sexuality. Where is the light of the Lord when there is that heart of darkness?

Our hearts must be set toward the thing of the Lord. Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. The identity we should adhere to is that of spiritual things with Christ by death to the past and the empowerment for this present day as by resurrection of Jesus.

Jesus brought the Kingdom of God and the Word increased. But those who like their positions and ways of doing religion proved fatal for Jesus. But Resurrection proved God's power indeed. Even in the book of Acts you can find Stephen full of the Holy Spirit speaking wisdom of God and miracles occurring. Still there were those in chapter 6 to set up false witnesses, as they said Stephen spoke blasphemous words against their holy place and the law. Yet Stephen had the face of an angel. He kept to the word of God given in chapter 7. He spoke truth and their hearts were cut through by that truth. They took him out and stoned him. And while the stoning took place, He full of the Holy Spirit spoke, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."    They closed their ears and stoned a man o faith.

Is culture deciding your fate? Are you  really a man after God or man after a culture style of dressing in costumes of dogs, cats, fish, butterflies or whales? They had a parade for that on east coast just the last couple of weeks. Jesus is the Morning Star leading us on. We move onto victory and see miracles done. Just ask me, I know for I am walking again, and getting stronger every day.

God is good, His mercy is everlasting. Jesus has gone to prepared a place for you and I. ( John 14:2) Verse 6 states, :"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

We must have one heart with Jesus to go home with Him!  To face the darkness of this nation, we must remain in Jesus. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. ( Ephesians 6:10) Staying with the Lord, repenting of any lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes or pride of life.

As Paul says, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory" (2 Corinthians 4:17).

Discipline

Was reading an article on discipline today. I had just come from hearing a recorded program on health and ways to strengthen the immune system within the body. In this recent news on body health are the ways to know what causes things like sickness or flues as fungus in the body: peanuts, corn, and wine. ( also like some vaccines)So it was worth waiting to watch to learn what steps to take when you have issues within your own body, what not to eat or drink and how to pray about it! Discipline is so needed in regard to just living life on this earth! And today, you can be bombarded with many fast foods commercials, as well as those fast cars or durable trucks and fast methods to acquiring drugs from your pharmacy (delivered to your door),  but rarely does one hear how they should be disciplined to know what God speaks about it all!

While viewing one such recorded program early this morning, I remembered this one player who was so sought out in that field of basketball. This goes back to the twentieth century and the 1980's! To play in the national basketball one had to be suited for producing wins no doubt. But this young man, even though selected as the 12th pick as "the hopeful" to make a real difference for the team to the Washington Bullets, yet he proved no help to them. This young man was predicted to go all the way for the team but in truth his life was undisciplined. He was noted for having no discipline when he ate anything he wanted nor what he ate nor  gave any thought to exercise. Of all that could be noted of this player who many were expecting great wins with, showed up revealing at that time he had eaten his way out of the NBA. Overweight at his rookie training camp, he earned some undesirable nicknames.

It is the Apostle Paul who told young Pastor Timothy, (1 Timothy 4:7-8)"But have nothing to do with worldly fables fit only for old women. On the other hand, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness; for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come."

Now, exercise is important for producing good benefits in condition of the heart and to strengthen one’s core to keep up with work in the workplace, home details as to cleaning and to food preparation, plus that which would also all children's activities, and to life in general. One must make it a rule to keep active and on the alert for that which is good  for the right kinds of food with actual life in it and not some dead food that is considered junk and only destroys one’s health. Another obvious thing I have learned is that many of the elderly have to learn how to get up should they should fall whether indoors or outdoors.  And yes, there are many written articles, talk shows, medical health benefits to show the elderly how to get up from that fallen position, but you also need to know which would benefit you in the long run.One such thing is like glutathione for your cells ( you know for energy).

A good way to find the way to good health, and those benefits is found in that discipline to be immersed in the word of God! It is God’s word that is the foundation of our lives. In the Scriptures, God reveals Himself and His will for us. If we want to know and enjoy God, the place to begin is God’s word.

Apart from the Bible, we cannot know what God is like. He is our Father, has love for us and really wants to give us His wisdom for this life. For you and I, we can  see some aspects of God in nature and the creation, but we would never look at an oak tree or a butterfly and know that God is holy, sovereign or loving. We could never know what Jesus did to redeem us by hiking through the Grand Canyon.  Not that I would consider hiking Grand Canyon, but for us, we have been on some pathways here in the area we reside. And although not as rocky nor as mountainous, still one must be capable to stay on the pathway and jump out of the way of that fast moving golf cart headed to the golf course. Knowing Jesus is knowing Him  Who is well disciplined. He obeyed the Father all the way to the Cross at Calvary. So too, Health is important to us if we desire to live long lives, for we must know the difference from what is franken-food to our body and what is actually good to our body to thrive and live long on the earth.

Yes, we must be awakened to truth, and that is in God who never changes. His spiritual truth remains the same: yesterday, today and forever in Christ Jesus!

Here’s what Scripture says about itself:  "Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts." - Jeremiah 15:16. To eat God's words means we take them in, hear them consistently by either reading them or hearing them and speaking them out after that hearing them. And when we do this, they become a joy and delight to our hearts. So we should be the delighted. We should have a joy in our hearts understanding His words guard us in our thinking. In that shaping our thinking to match His, we should consider Psalm 1.

In that Psalm, there are two forces that will shape our thinking: either the world or God’s word: Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. (Psalm 1:1-2) For you and I, we can either follow the counsel of the world or the counsel of the Word. Psalm 1 tells us that we should make God’s word our delight and meditate on it consistently – day and night.

That word  "blessed" in verse 1 is happy and expresses itself in the sense of joy and satisfaction in one's state or circumstances. And it is often the result of blessing that comes from a trust in the LORD when obedience is found.

1 John 5:3 For this is love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

Was thinking of Jesus speaking to the religious: "you are like your father the devil." What He actually said was this: John 8:42-44 "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but he sent Me. 43 "Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

It is never the ethnic nor family pedigree that makes one acceptable to God but honoring God by believing in and loving Jesus Christ. Some people are just out for that "fifteen minutes of fame" not looking for the long haul of life. And one certainly does not gain long life unless he is in Christ Jesus.

When it comes to spiritual disciplines for the Christian life, the first thing we should seek to incorporate into our lives is regular meditation on Scripture. Like the food we eat for life, energy and rest, we also meditate on God’s word as to dwell on it, to roll it over in our minds in order to apply it to our lives.

It is like trying those new foods out and reverting to a bag of chips when the taste of the new and the vivid dark color of the food is all green will not satisfy the "old man" in his eating habits. And yes the flesh creature would rather watch TV than read the word of God. Flesh creature will always be that spiritual underachiever, living so far below the potential that God has placed within them. Discipline is required for just about everything that has to do with living in this world. That applies to when you go to sleep at night to when you arise at the first morning light!

Now that discipline in 1 Timothy 4 is an interesting word. In the Greek the word gymnaso appears. It means to train or to exercise naked. Or in athletic terms, as it was in Paul’s day, was to take off that shirt to work out. That was a stripping off the unnecessary to move through a routine so exercise would be a benefit to them for those Olympic games.

As being disciplined to right eating of food for the body: like not eating candy, no drinking wine with that meal, leaving off dessert and taking an extra few laps around your neighborhood will peel off some that fat on the body. So, too, you and I must do the same in the spiritual realm. We must strip away all the garments of pretense as we meet with the Lord each day in prayer, in that Bible study and in fellowship. We must come before Him with an open and honest heart, not telling God what we think, an opinion but truly sharing our hearts, those hurts, fears and tears but truly sharing every problem we might hold in our heart.

Disciplined today might not bring you that NBA contract to your life, but stripped to being a truly productive living being will always include that encouraging and enriching workout with God the Lord, so that we need not try to be someone we are not! To be the real in God, it must be about the truth of  God Who will take us  from where we are and bring us to a place of strength, peace and power as we come to Him day after day for nourishment that is of benefit and life to us. We will come to satisfaction in Him when we continually humble ourselves to the speaking that we require some help with what goes into our mouths for our God is faithful and He will be there to help!

It is He, Who makes us spiritually strong when and if we are the willing to be faithful to hard work of saying no to the flesh and yes to the spirit man. It is saying no to wrong types of food and saying no to the wrong types of things our eyes focus on that brings the wrong thing into our lives. We are to say yes to the spirit of doing right things that are the necessary as in spending quality time with Him who planned for us, purposed to set us apart and to develop a deep and genuine walk with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Yeah, it is not the NBA, but He is all I need to accomplish life on earth. He is Greater, Majesty on High....the Great I AM! He is all that I (or you) need in that love of His, a grace with much mercy and peace. It is all about living for Him, and living in such a way others will notice. And if they know not my name, they will know His because that is how we live for Him, to make Him known, that in Him we live,  move,  and have our being in Him. It is all the right moves and actions from the Father of whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Light be in my life (your life) concerning diet, that new way of eating, that new routine for exercise and that all important time with Him the Lord of glory. Thank you Lord for the light that reveals those dark things that must be stripped away to run the race YOU have set before us. Today WE run in His name and to His glory, we are thoroughly determined to be set in being disciplined. Yes, Amen to discipline!

EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT

God created the heavens, the earth and put a rainbow in the sky!
Heard the strangest speaking on a god channel over the week-end. This gentleman said to his church that we are not to read the Old Testament. That is has nothing to do with today since Jesus as come and was resurrected and we are to only view the New Testament. The only teaching is to be the New Testament only!
I looked at my husband and gasped! What?

In Genesis, God created. So without reading about God creating, what do you have. And not everyone has read the Bible through and through. All I could ask the Lord was this: "does this man have the Holy Spirit?" He has a church named his church the "contemporary" yet where is God of the Bible in that?
Jesus was always pointing back to the Father. And Jesus had a relationship with the Father WHO sent Him on "assignment"!
How will people have the Oneness like Jesus did with the Father when they know nothing about it? Jesus came not to do His own will, but He came to do the will of the Father.
Mark 14:36 Amplified Bible 36 And He was saying, Abba [which means] Father, everything is possible for You. Take away this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You [will].

Jesus said this in John 17:14 NKJV I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
In John 17:24 He said this: 24 "Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world."
John 17:26 "and I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it , that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
John 20:17 Jesus said to her, "Do not cling Me for I have not yet ascended to My Father but go to My brethren and say to them, I am ascending to My Father, and your Father and to my God and your God."
Ephesians 2:18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

In understanding Jesus is that Open Door and we have access by one Spirit to the Father, how or why would one ignore the Father, ignore what He created in the Beginning?
Genesis 1:1 In the Beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth. He created out of chaos and called in His peace. He sculpted a world that was without form and brought forth a world of beauty that is of His heart!
The Old Testament is "not filler"! Each book is there for the same reason that Bible holds them, it is for our benefit.
God is a God of strategy. Even Paul the Apostle recounts the inspiring account of Joseph and the divine protection that took place for the people of God in Egypt. Well, we have become the children  of God. We have been grafted in and it would behoove us to know the God of Israel and find what His heart desires.
READ all about Him from Genesis to Revelation. Know the God of creation, Know HIS WAYS, bask in that beauty, and relish His truth because without it and HIM we are not going anywhere! Being conformed to His image is taking on that which is totally God. It comes by obedience and by resting in Him as the power and glory forever and forever.
Unless we know Him, and His perfect will, we will be receptive to only receiving death, disease, discord, and disaster and these come because of sin. But the perfect Lamb was given, as we behold the crucified Christ and the Tomb is empty.

The Spirit of the living God, the Holy Spirit brought Jesus out of the place of death and dying to the place of living, of life and of God! All that Word God spoke from the beginning, given to His Son was wrapped up in power released to do the impossible! Just like in Genesis, it was the Holy Spirit of God who went into chaos into religion of pharisees, into prideful kings, and leaders who held their position in religious ceremonies greater than knowing the real king of the Jews and changed their glory for shame!
Jesus was always about making peace, but it came by exposing motives of others first and foremost!
As Jesus awaited his impending suffering and death, he stepped aside in isolation to pray. Opposition caused Jesus to feel sorrowful and troubled, overwhelming his soul to the point of death.
We find this in Matthew 26:36-39 Amp. Bible: 36 Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethesemane, and He told His disciples, Sit down here while I go over yonder and pray. 37 And taking with  Him, Peter, and the two sons of Zebedee, He began to show grief and distress of mind and was deeply depressed. 38 Then He said to them, My soul is very sad deeply grieved so that i am almost dying of sorrow. Stay here and keep awake and keep watch with Me. 39 And going a little farther, he threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire.

Jesus, fully God yet fully man,  He still needed his Father. Three times in Gethsemane, Matthew says he “fell with his face to the ground and prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will’” This found in verses 39, 42, 44).

Life should spring forth when we have kept company with God the Father and His Son. Life will spring and it has everything to do with God and His strategic plan for your life and for mine.
May you and I come alive NOW with the life of God that propels us into the greatest move of God for this time, for you and your family  never to be the same in Jesus' name!
Jesus accomplished what He came to do for us! He came to tell us of the love the Father has for us.

May we not be afraid to read of all the goodness the Father has for us! May we read and know without a doubt and then go tell others what great things God has done for us! We need our Father!

FRAMED!

Voice of Prayer
What pictures do we have displayed on a counter, cabinet or fireplace for others to see when they enter our home? Are they our families "hall of kids"?  Or is there possibly a "wall" with all the grand-kids pics framed and displayed all in rows according to their age?
We have a couple of places, but one grand-child so far.
And I cannot remember others having any pics of their grandchildren displayed for others to see.

Now today, at the moment the word "pictures" is mentioned, a nice phone comes out of the person's pocket and many pics will be shown, and at least once or twice a special word is given for a couple of the pics as to what was happening the very moment when that specific shot was snapped.

Now I love pictures. I love seeing people's vacation pics. I like seeing some of those new grand-babies, too!

In this, I was thinking of the scripture where God displays His jewels.( His special treasures)
Malachi 3:16-18    KJV     16 Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.

17 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

The Message Bible of the same verses reads this way: Then those whose lives honored GOD got together and talked it over. God saw what they were doing and listened in. A book was opened in God's presence and minutes were taken of the meeting, with the names of God the GOD-fearers written down, all the names of those who honored God's name. God-of the- Angel- Armies said, "They are all mine. They'll get special treatment when I go into action. I treat them with the same consideration and kindness that parents give the child who honors them. Once more you'll see the difference it makes between being a person who does the right thing and one who doesn't, between serving God and not serving Him."

Zechariah 9:16-17  NKJV  16 The LORD their God will save them in that day, as the clock of His people. For they shall be like the jewels of a crown, Lifted like a banner over His land-----Lifted like a banner over His land----17 For how great is its goodness and how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men thrive, and new wine the young women.

REDEMPTION!

We are God's special treasures. He spoke of saving Israel and we as Gentiles were grafted in. In Jesus we have salvation. In that forgiveness of sins, we find repentance to mean we have become the Lord's jewels. Their beauty is that of a submitted one to God. Their humility is seen in their character. They are vessels with the distinction of faithfulness. He gathers them together, delighting in their love for Him. Bright and shining, they glorify God. They are not of the world. They resemble their Maker. Oh the happy state of the believing heart totally devoted to God who finds peace and joy in love without borders.
Framed within the love of God, we prevail. Framed within God's love we find peace, honor and joy. God's people are His glory! The crown they wear is that which displays the beauty of the Lord and of His holiness.
God lives. He is merciful, just and loving. He refreshes us with grain and with wine. He gives out of His goodness. He desires His family to live as He lives. He desires them to have their life within Him and His plan.
Hebrews 11: 1 NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. 2 For by [faith-truth and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose )by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.

Framing our week with the good things God speaks always brings us good things. But complaining or disputing that you will have another bad week only frames another "bad week" for you whether at work, school or at home with the kids.
Frame your days ahead with God's word and expect just what you speak. Then the beauty you will see and enjoy and more than that you will experience an eternity with God who planned for you from the foundation of the world.
I can show you pics of my kids, and grand-child, but I can also show you my life that speaks of God's goodness to me through healing, restoration and strength. Greater is He that is in you and me than he that is in the world. Truly God desires our lives FRAMED WITH HIS GOODNESS FOR HIS GLORY! AMEN!

The Stairway

Ever have dreams about stairways? I sometimes do. I sometimes have them of others descending a staircase into the basement area. The building is luxurious. It has marble in most open areas. And I am watching one or two descend. My question: "Were they checking out the foundation of the building?"
Did not seem right to me, but in their choosing they were headed the way they had just started to ascend from.
I wonder if we ever think of how we might be a staircase for those who know not Jesus and have not heard the Word of Salvation. Or have we thought of how just maybe, we might be the staircase we might represent to those who have a wrong teaching about Jesus.
He is certainly about love and expressed it in the times of fun and correction as well. He was always directing others to the Father of His love!

I like the reading of 1 John 5:1-3...Message Bible:
It states: Every person who believes that Jesus is, in fact, the Messiah, is God-begotten. If we love the One who conceives the child, we'll surely love the child who was conceived. The reality test on whether or not we love God's children is this: Do we love God? Do we keep his commands? The proof that we love God comes when we keep his commandments and they are not at all troublesome.

In 1 John 4:16-21...Message Bible:
It states: God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we're free of worry on Judgment Day----our standing in the world is identical with Christ's. There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. since fear is crippling, a fearful life----fear of death, fear of judgment---is one not yet fully formed in love.
We though, are going to love----love and be loved. First we were loved, now we love. He loves us first. If anyone, boasts, "I love God" and goes right on hating his brother or sister thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he won't love the person he can see, how can he love the God he can't see? The command we have from Christ is blunt: Loving God includes loving people. You've got to love both.

I remember this gentleman who came to our church almost 20 years ago now. He was a pastor from Oklahoma. He was involved in prayer ministry and saw many miraculous signs in his ministry that God had called him to walk in his lifetime.
It was awe inspiring testimony he gave and caused a fire to burn within me to pray more. He told how he could pray hours on end. God would tell him endless secrets and mysteries from the Word of God........and he stated that when he began ministry, in a closet in prayer some 8-10 hours a day.....AND......after about 3 months he moved into ministry. Was no platform as such other that God called and he obeyed God.
He said the hardest ABOUT ministry WAS that OTHER PEOPLE were involved. I laughed! He said ministry would be great if people were not involved, because each will bring something with them. They have the Holy Spirit and they bring some baggage!
But he also stated He loved God so much and wanted others to know Him in the same manner. He believed prayer was the power from heaven released to reach the lost. Showed him love he had never known. He told how his natural father was abusive and how God loved him no matter what!

Romans 10:14-15
14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

NIV

Many have not heard the Gospel once and so how they call on the one they have not believed in? How can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news to those who are in need of a Savior!

Present to others the Stairway to which brings life with the Savior Jesus Christ.
Ascend to the place in God where joy and laughter is heard. Ascend the Staircase and show others the beauty each step holds to be in His Presence and to reside with the Son of His love.

Recently had the most awesome visit with young friends who moved away years ago. They are close in age with our own daughter. They have been close for many years. Of course, of their return for a vacation retreat to the Gorge, I experienced conversation with them that seem to take up where it was left off many years ago. They are family to us. No, not by biological blood but by the Blood of the Lamb, we are FAMILY. They love people and it shows. They proved to have that continued walk with the Lord that has remained and strengthen their own young ones to grow up knowing the Lord as well.
God our Father, has given us those who will always share with us the blessings that follow the Christ, the One who gave of His own life. He dedicated His life to show the way to the Father who resides in heaven.
Can we do as much?
AND now to Him who can keep you on your feet, standing tall in His bright presence, fresh and celebrating----to our one God, or only Savior, through Jesus Christ, our Master, be glory, majesty, strength, and rule before all time, and now, and to the end of all time. Yes!
(Jude 24-25)
Amen!
