Yikes ! Sewer Water

....shall be like a tree planted by rivers of water...

Psalm 1 NKJV  Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the place of scornful; 
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD and in His law he meditates day and night. 
3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. 
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Hebrews 10:19-23 NKJV 19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering for He who promised is faithful.

That word "pure" in verse 21 of Hebrews 10 describes a physical cleanliness.
Sin pollutes and it defiles, but the blood of Jesus washes the stains away. Receiving Jesus, washed away our sin. But it is still a daily walk to be refreshed by Him, to see His ways and follow His teachings. That is, we are to obey Him!

Had seen some of the devastation that has taken place in some areas the last several months of 2018. And I was reading of that which swept through North Carolina. A storm that made "an unusual journey" from Africa to the east coast of America. It seemed to have an appointment with the land in that region of the U. S.
When the hurricane "Florence" entered the Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, it was a 350-mile wide tropical storm. It produced large amounts of rain throughout North and South Carolina. It was noted that some area had experienced record rainfall with wide-spread flooding that impacted roadways, homes and businesses not just for the weekend, but for many weeks. It was 34 inches of rain that had fallen in just three days. We can get in the winter time an inch to 2 inches an hour but these folks were getting a lot more in less time. And if we do get that atmospheric river say in our region, it is here today and gone tomorrow.
Ah, but this storm produced serious wind problems as in tornadoes!

According to Kevin Trenberth of the National Center of Atmospheric Research reported that 53 people had died due to the horrific floodwaters. This flooding contained hog waste containing toxic mix of E. coli, Girardia and Salmonella that washed across the countryside. It was 3.4 million chickens died when the deluge struck the heart of the state's agriculture industry.
Devastation indeed had occurred and this was something that would not be cleaned up in a day or two, and it might take more than a year to clean that kind of toxicity from the land.
Can you imagine the cost of such a 'clean-up' of that magnitude? Yet they occurred in Houston Texas during Hurricane Harvey. Such contaminates swept into the water supply and caused a mixture of toxic proportions! These would be found in the land, in homes and in businesses. Can you now imagine the magnitude if those cars in those flooded areas are now cleaned up and sold to other markets in other states and you are driving "such" vehicle on a daily basis; one that has toxic sludge in the bottom parts of the carpets and other dark places?

So, can you imagine what happens to our minds and souls when we leave God's words: His thoughts and ways to follow the counsel of the ungodly, to stand with sinners or sit with the scornful? Can you imagine if you spend time watching advertisements that show partially clothed people with wine in hand and laughing their loudest to be heard and then you wishing you were there with them to partake of the same?

  Our delight is to be in the word of God and to meditate day and night on it. And when we do, we are like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf shall not wither, and whatever we do shall prosper.

Anything connected with the world will bring you to stand in sewer water. And it is anything but clean. It is not pure but holds disease and shame. If we are not in God, then we are in 'something'. And like Florence, when she appeared, she made a grand entry into a coastal beach, beautiful sand and waves and stirred up some havoc. She came into that region to dump a lot of water and to flood it  causing a deluge striking at the very heart of the state's agriculture industry. Yeah it was going to take a chunk of money from them! Yes, its very livelihood was shook to the foundations and that which is not founded on God will wash away with sewer water and never to be found again.

Devastation is occurring at a phenomenal rate today not only in the U. S. but around the world as well. When I was teen, I remember a tornado occurring every once in a great while. And one had occurred some hundred miles from where we lived. It took some time for that town to rebuild. And it will take time to rebuild cities like Houston who was hit by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. It will take time to rebuild and clean up areas like Florida hit by Irene in 2017 and again in 2018 by Hurricane Michael. New Orleans was hit in 2005 by Katrina and it is not the city it once was. Only parts were restored and some areas remain damaged from that major event that displaces thousands of people and killed others.

What if we truly paid attention to what matters and not just "looking to be good time Charlie or Charlene'? What if we sought out God though He is not far anyone of us.....Paul wrote this in Acts 17:26-30 NKJV  And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and boundaries of their dwellings, 27 so that they should seek the Lord in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though he is not far from each of us; 28 for in Him, we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also His offspring.'. 29 Therefore since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man's devising. 30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.

What can save one from a devastating storm? Well, your cell phone cannot save you nor will your government. When something occurs, it is up to the individual to have supplies, and hopefully have dried food in buckets where water will not intrude them. Water should be foremost to have on hand as well as a food supply and a first-aid kit. A generator would be great too. It should be one that does not need gas but is charged by the sun! There has been a forecast of an EMP occurring in many places around the world and I wonder how many are prepared if they lose power to their cell phones, laptops, their cars, their refrigerators and have no food or power. Pray it does not happen in the winter and then pray for a very long summer season. ( like a length of a decade)
For where there is no power, one will die with no water after how many days and will die without any food after how many days?

For the only power we have access to that is 24:7 is the Holy Spirit who gives us details of what Jesus speaks to the Father about. And we can be in the 'know' to stay out of sewer water and to pray : not just for ourselves, but for our brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world. For truly God is for us and He wants to help us....but He will not hear over the loud cries for another bottle wine nor will He hear when our voices sound more like those in Sodom and Gomorrah. No we must seek Him and abide there. We must look for His ways and hear His thoughts and move in that place of protection to be safe in Him  and live ................ Amen!

No, no sewer water today Lord, I seek to hear You speak as we are told many times in the book of Revelation....to hear what the Spirit of God is speaking. May we hold firm in a confidence that Jesus is Lord and there is no other in our heart.........so our heart is not struck by devastation and sewer water.
Lord have Your way in our lives today ....we believe You the true and only God have our back and we stay within Your plan....we give You our thanks and we recommit to be those who seek YOUR ways in this world...for we are in it but not of it.

Serving Up Mac & Cheese or Meat

Voice of Prayer

Heard a interesting teaching today and was reminded of those folks whose kids love Mac & Cheese! Now for those who live in the U.S. that mac and cheese is a "comfort food" for many. I am not sure why so many young kids love it, but our grand-daughter has loved it for years and she is not that old in age! From her very beginnings at the table, she was always leaning toward the the bowl with the Macaroni and Cheese.
She has become a connoisseur when it comes to ordering that special cuisine at the local restaurants! And no all restaurants do not make it the same.
But she has made mention she really loved it at the Gorge Hotel Restaurant. I did see it, and it did look wonderful with all that cheese.

Back to this teaching today, the pastor out of New York was stating that a gentleman was not staying for the teaching that day. (a Sunday service)........that to him, his desire was for Mac & Cheese and he was not getting it. So he left the service.
I liked the wisdom this pastor spoke for I have seen him for many years on this Ask the pastor from a certain Christian channel here in the U.S.
He remarked it is possible that when wisdom for correction comes, some will want just Mac and Cheese. They just want to be comforted and just want to be reminded that the pastor and the congregation was there to help them to make it through. 
But that is the mistake many make. Each person is to add to the body of believer's and represent God in the capacity God has equipped for service among believer's, not to come and sit on the sidelines, and be a spectator! Jesus was not a spectator, He was and is a PARTICIPATOR!


Taking the journey through life will surely require us to have knowledge and a lot of wisdom of and from God!
As for us, we even speak over the highways when we are headed out to a local food store, or family's home! We SPEAK IN JESUS' NAME, that the highway we travel will have those people who adhere to the wisdom of God. There will be people of sense without cell phones and without anger as they drive out through this scenic gorge area! All others who are incapacitated in any way will not venture on any of those roads we must travel on to our destination.

So in requiring God and His wisdom, mac and cheese will not be on the menu and will not be at every meal.
Our hearts are to be full of God, His word, and be word-minded that covers all of who God is and why He created us. If we stay with Mac & Cheese, we could very well stay deficient in needed nutrients for our body to sustain life. We could stay deficient when we really need to be bulking up for the days ahead.
Meat has to be in our diet. Just like a baby requires milk at first, meat will be introduced and then watch out! For those meat eaters will love their meat. And in receiving the meat of God's word we are seeing Him from the vantage point of the one who is born-again and seeking to know Him to the fullest.
Serving up Mac & Cheese with meat would certainly help some of those pastors who baby their members. But that is not God's plan!
Should we as the member of the congregation only desire the mac and cheese, we would be better suited to finding the mac & cheese church.

No let's be those who are mindful of God, and to be witness of Him! Let's fill up with scriptures that gives us a glowing report of His goodness, love, and peace. He brings light in the part of life we really need light so that there is no darkness, no deception, so light in us will reveal darkness where it appears on our pathway. And with life and death in the power of the tongue, we are not to be those deceived, we must know the difference for certain victory to life!

Seriously, in a mac & cheese ministry, where would the influence be except to the very young. If we truly want to influence a nation, we are to minister the word of God that is power of the church to be proclaimed. Romans 1:16 reminds us .....for I am not ashamed of the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, the man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.

When those trials and tribulations come, mac & cheese church will not cut it! For we all must grow up, we must become those men and women who God called and purposed for this time. We are to be those with God-mindedness, thriving on the Holy Spirit power to have the speech that is revealing knowledge of the Holy One!
Give me meat, please, for I truly want to receive that which strengthens, brings victories and walks forward into eternity with God who is more than enough.
Hebrews 5:12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that , those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Serving in a church meeting, a Bible study or other, our focus and process should be toward maturing for us and those we are to teach. Ask our grand-daughter, she loves her Mac & Cheese, but she loves God, has Jesus in her heart and preaches the word of God...........yes, we know her as the Backyard Swing Preacher. She loves her meat!

Hey, You Mighty Woman & Man of God

Yes, life's journey is marked out! We're accessing God and the focus is "forward".
No looking back now. No time to think on the past, for it is well over and gone. Mighty woman access God for His strength that helps you confront issues of life. Remember we will love no matter the provocation, yes we are on our way. Fire burn within, to seek out God and His ways! Tuning in, steadfast and true,and expectant to see what adventures God has for us!

No more walking blindly, but eyes and ears receptive and  having the sureness of a walk with the Lord. Absolute in knowing God is our sufficiency. And if God be for us, then who can be against us?

Hold on now, the path is getting narrower! He is leaning in to whisper, "Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am  your God. I will strengthen you and will uphold you with the right hand of My Righteousness."
Fearless walking, and taking up the task that is before us, We are unconsciously living in His presence. Yes, see God's eye is on us. It is His eye of love that is upon us all the time now. WE are carrying out His plan for our life. Yes, God and the mighty woman & man of God are mighty together.


Today, we are filled with the exact knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding! Mighty woman & man in God never struggle after faith. Walking worthily as unto the the Lord pleasing Him and bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, He is my power, my ability being steadfast! It is the fear of the Lord that leads us onward to life and to abide in satisfaction.

Listen now,  hear the words of the wise and apply the heart to knowledge.  Trusting in the Lord, belief in Him and His Word, instruction comes by the God who has written excellent things of council and knowledge.
Hallelujah, we are on our way!
Out of our way, you stinking devil, you are under our feet!

Yes, thankful Lord, for the ability to enjoy the share of the inheritance with all the saints in light. A member indeed, in the fruit-bearing fellowship of Christ Jesus.
Mouth's filled with praise. You are the Father who is greater. You are greater than disease or any weakness.
"God, You our light and our salvation, whom shall we fear, You are the strength of our lives, of whom shall we be afraid?"
You are the "HEALER, THE RESTORER, THE GOD OF MORE THAN ENOUGH"!
You are wisdom to us for every decision. Ordinary was left behind, and now mighty woman & man of God moves into the extraordinary.
Filled to the max with fullness, having found the unsearchable riches of Christ. Yes indeed, seated with You at Your right hand. Died with Jesus, was buried with Jesus and raised with Jesus.
Jesus, is the Lord and Master and mighty woman & man of God gives thanks to You for leading us into all the goodness of God!
Today, as we move and have our being, we are God inside minded. We are seeing from His perspective. Yes, the Lord is looking and He smiles. He is showing us the way in which to walk. He is showing us a a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains, and of springs that flow out of valleys and hills. We eat bread without scarcity, and lack nothing.
Thank You Lord for Your peace, and we will rest in You living all the while in Your quietness.


Declaration made, praying Your will be done O Father, to be done here on earth as in heaven. Today we are the mighty woman & man who rests in You and we are the one who continues to seek Your will with all our heart.
Today we pray for all women and men living everywhere to make a stand for God in truth and righteousness. If not today, then when and if not us, then who? Thank You ahead for godly leaders that will be placed strategically in our lives. We will know them for they will speak what they hear You speak O Father. We thank You for the new man covenant, and we take off the old and put on the New with all its adventures and life. May we be receptive to and embrace change. Help us to see us, as You see us and know that You want to bring us to the arena of success for YOUR Glory in Jesus' name. We exalt Your name forever! Amen
