Compassion for the Suffering Multitudes

The Bible gives passages of the kingdom of God being established on earth.  Malachi 3:1 " Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way before Me, and the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," says the LORD of hosts.

Matthew 4:23  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

Mark 1:14-15 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."

Gospel to be preached around the world: Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

There is only the one Gospel. Jesus was sent by the Father to deliver compassion to the suffering multitudes. It was the Apostle Paul who warned us about receiving any other gospel.

In Jude 3 we are to contend for the original! Jude 3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

Jesus taught through Parables. He relayed His kingdom on earth. Opening up the passages of the Bible, we are no longer ignorant of God’s truth. In Mark 4: 21 Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lamp-stand? 22 For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.23 if anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.  24 “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you  who hear, more will be given. 25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

Heed what you have heard. Heed the supernatural of God and yourself as a spiritual being understanding your Fathers thoughts and ways. Believe!

Why would anyone want to twist the kingdom of God?  1 Timothy 4:1 (NIV) The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

Jesus  reached people with the kingdom that had come. The Gospel as Mark underscored in his writing, was the need for faith in the person. The message they received and the power of Jesus present to help those in need as in Mark 4:40 and Mark 5:34-36.  Jesus was One, but many others would follow with willing hearts to see God’s kingdom come to those in extreme need.

A concise history of redemption is accomplished through the atoning work of Christ. His authority emphasized as He taught and His authority over Satan and unclean spirits we could look at here as to that which involves nature, Mark 4: 35 through Mark 6:45-52.

We have one in recent days to leave us much to soon. He a follower of Jesus Christ was cut down in his young years. He was cut down because someone else's belief was totally in something else. What twists our thinking? We are told from 1 Timothy 4:1 of deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. This nation has certainly got off the tracks of truth. Schools and colleges are teaching their own ways which are humanistic. They teach doctrines of demons. But we must endure knowing the word of truth. We must endure to follow Jesus indeed!

Do we tell the truth of a life change in us or do we shoot someone down by the hate in one's heart? We are to be open about Jesus. We are to spread His great news to all! Charlie Kirk was one who went out and did that for decades. He spread the truth of the love of God. He gave people a voice to speak but also gave the truth of the Kingdom of God. Compassion comes in many packages of people. It is a gift from the Father when love is shown and expressed. It is not patting a wrist to speak that is okay, you can go ahead and be you! WRONG! We are created in the image of God. We are created for good and not evil. But we must choose the good in God and not the evil of this world.

Those of the world spoke the last few days. They revealed in their laughter of the dislike they had for Charlie. They gave some time of life in either video or texting in the form of some social media. But those who saw Charlie, knew of his call by God and also a sent one. Yes, he is gone. He is a martyr for God. He left others in conversation of which he started.. As the young man of God, he will always be known as the man of faith. The person created in God's image, a Patriot of this nation, a provider of truth and open to conversation.`

Deceit and Deception are examples in the Bible:

Proverbs 12:5 The plans of the righteous are just, but the advice of the wicked is deceitful.

Proverbs 12: 17An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies.

Proverbs 12:20 Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but counselors of peace have joy.

Romans 3:13 Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.”“The poison of vipers is on their lips.”

Romans 16:18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.

God's truth is like light, not leaven, and it must not be hidden.

Charlie was not hidden nor was Jesus Christ our Savior!  Light dispels darkness. Advice of the wicked is listed as deceitful in Proverbs 12:5. In Proverbs 12:17 we see that a false witness tells lies. And deceit is found in the heart of those who devise evil seen in Proverbs 12:20. It appears that naïve people are deceived easily from their belly. They receive that “smooth talk” and flattery that deceives. Yes, those filling their bellies with flattery find they have no footing in the truth of the Lord!

Let us stand for truth! Let us know what God reveals in His word. For we are to be lights in this dark world. Jesus was crucified  and was seated afterward with the Father. Charlie losing his life in this world gained the light of compassion in the kingdom of God.  Amen.

Revealed in the days ahead will be either light or darkness. Revealed will be hearts for flesh or for God. Surely this world is convulsing in the upheaval of sin. Those as sons of God continue in truth of God. As Jesus spoke from the cross, He revealed His heart for the man who hung with Him on that hill. He spoke to John to keep Mary as his mother. Jesus continued in compassion to speak light as He hung dying that day. And what will you do with this word?

Challenge Worry with Life Building Thoughts

Worry!
How can one possibly challenge worry?

Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
Matthew 6:28 So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Matthew 6:31 Therefore do not worry, saying, "What shall we drink? or What shall we wear?' 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

If we look at the context of how this is given, we find that Matthew 6 points to do good to please God. Matthew 6:1 Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.
So seeking God is paramount and high over that of trying to gain praise from men.
Jesus goes on to enlist prayer in Matthew 6:5-15 and then He talks about fasting to be seen only by God and not to go tell the many you know of your fasting practices.
Then Jesus gives the warning of avarice. Because avarice had a friend attached and he is called anxiety!
Now Jesus does not prohibit material possessions but He does object to material possessions having rule over us and tying us to this earth. For those selfish in nature will chase that extravagant materialism and we should seek not to have that kind of eye.
Jesus goes on to mention the importance of our eye and that if our eye is bad, our whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in us is darkness, how great is that darkness!
We should be running to have a relationship with the Lord so we have a developed commitment to Him, to His will and to His ways.

When we get to Matthew 6:24 we find Jesus talking about one cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve God and mammon. We will either serve God or we will serve money. Proverbs tells us that riches has wings and will fly away.
Proverbs 23:4-5 Do not work to be rich; because or your own understanding, cease! 5 Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly can make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven.

I know about twenty years ago that there was much teaching about how God wanted us to prosper and they emphasized money. But God wants us to manage money so it will not manage us. I heard a report the other day of how many people are maxed out on their credit cards again just like those back in 2008 and 2009!  And we know a lot that happened and contributed to the scandalous practices of money lenders then was about bankers in many loaning departments loaned people money to buy homes they could not afford to pay back, for what they made monthly was short of their required payment needed monthly for repayment!

Worry causes us to be divided from our attention toward God. If our vision of God is divided by money matters, our vision is then divided. And division will divide one into portions and pieces. Daily needs occur, but it should not be that which brings division for that is unfruitful. Worry moves us out of faith and into unbelief. It is acting like God does not exist when He certainly does exist.

My husband and I just saw last week ( November 12) of the planet Neptune having the two moons, and one of them rotates around the planet, but the other moon is stationary. The one moon actively rotating does this oscillation move  that avoids the stationary moon when it makes its orbit close to it. NASA had just released this picture showing what it look like and I was in 'awe' of a great God who created these two moons that project the very existence of His glorious skill in being the Creator!
In viewing this orbit, this dancing motion of a moon, the orbiting moon moves consistently away out of line of the stationary moon and keeps right on moving through its ordered orbit around Neptune. Amazing!

So how could you or I be worried about tomorrow, about money or even healing when we have a God who has such strategy to move us out of harm's way to continue in the step of full light when we first seek Him and His plan for our lives? Our lives are in His hands. He has greater care for us because He has a plan for us.
Whatever provision we require, it will always follow that person whose priorities are concerned with God's ways, His work and His will which is His kingdom. If God's kingdom has come into our lives, then it is His rule we will see and His provision will flow to us without hindrances.
Jesus faced temptation at key moments of His ministry: in the wilderness prior to His public ministry, prior to His transfiguration and prior to His crucifixion.
Like Jesus, we have to know that we are a son of God, and when we know we have this walk of faith, we cannot be deterred by the Peter's in this life! For Jesus told them in Matthew 16:21-27 that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes and be killed and be raised the third day. ( Matthew 16:21) Yet Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"
Then Jesus rebuked Peter! Matthew 16:23 "Get behind Me Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."
And remember Satan said the same to Jesus denoting that he could avoid suffering when Jesus met him in the wilderness and before the ministry began!
And right before Jesus was taken in the Garden of Gethsemane, it was time for praying, but the disciples could not stay awake one hour to pray with Him!

Worry can appear, but we must take it captive with the words of Jesus.  The kingdom is presented and we are to live by faith as Jesus did in that grace that was presented to the world! Although many will not heed the love of God that came in the package of Jesus Christ, still He is the only way to the Father. (John 14:6)
Jesus told us in John 14:7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him." Jesus was always about revealing the Father and His love for His creation.

We have so many opportunities to see the Father in all His glory, like the two moons around the planet Neptune, in the Scripture of His Son's crucifixion or even of His birth. But alas, those who truly believe are those who will do the same works as Jesus and will do greater works because Jesus returned to His Father who sent Him. For whatever we ask in His name, that he will do, that the Father be glorified in the Son.
Only faith, that trust in Jesus will bring the required results but worry will only bring a divided focus, a divided vision of what is before us. And if His name is on it, He will do it for He spoke it from the foundation of the world.
Worry today and be dismissed tomorrow to lack and no vision. But challenge worry and build your thought life with His thoughts and you will see and do greater things for it by His grace, that we achieve His kingdom's purposes for His glory indeed! Amen

EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT

God created the heavens, the earth and put a rainbow in the sky!
Heard the strangest speaking on a god channel over the week-end. This gentleman said to his church that we are not to read the Old Testament. That is has nothing to do with today since Jesus as come and was resurrected and we are to only view the New Testament. The only teaching is to be the New Testament only!
I looked at my husband and gasped! What?

In Genesis, God created. So without reading about God creating, what do you have. And not everyone has read the Bible through and through. All I could ask the Lord was this: "does this man have the Holy Spirit?" He has a church named his church the "contemporary" yet where is God of the Bible in that?
Jesus was always pointing back to the Father. And Jesus had a relationship with the Father WHO sent Him on "assignment"!
How will people have the Oneness like Jesus did with the Father when they know nothing about it? Jesus came not to do His own will, but He came to do the will of the Father.
Mark 14:36 Amplified Bible 36 And He was saying, Abba [which means] Father, everything is possible for You. Take away this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You [will].

Jesus said this in John 17:14 NKJV I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
In John 17:24 He said this: 24 "Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world."
John 17:26 "and I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it , that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
John 20:17 Jesus said to her, "Do not cling Me for I have not yet ascended to My Father but go to My brethren and say to them, I am ascending to My Father, and your Father and to my God and your God."
Ephesians 2:18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

In understanding Jesus is that Open Door and we have access by one Spirit to the Father, how or why would one ignore the Father, ignore what He created in the Beginning?
Genesis 1:1 In the Beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth. He created out of chaos and called in His peace. He sculpted a world that was without form and brought forth a world of beauty that is of His heart!
The Old Testament is "not filler"! Each book is there for the same reason that Bible holds them, it is for our benefit.
God is a God of strategy. Even Paul the Apostle recounts the inspiring account of Joseph and the divine protection that took place for the people of God in Egypt. Well, we have become the children  of God. We have been grafted in and it would behoove us to know the God of Israel and find what His heart desires.
READ all about Him from Genesis to Revelation. Know the God of creation, Know HIS WAYS, bask in that beauty, and relish His truth because without it and HIM we are not going anywhere! Being conformed to His image is taking on that which is totally God. It comes by obedience and by resting in Him as the power and glory forever and forever.
Unless we know Him, and His perfect will, we will be receptive to only receiving death, disease, discord, and disaster and these come because of sin. But the perfect Lamb was given, as we behold the crucified Christ and the Tomb is empty.

The Spirit of the living God, the Holy Spirit brought Jesus out of the place of death and dying to the place of living, of life and of God! All that Word God spoke from the beginning, given to His Son was wrapped up in power released to do the impossible! Just like in Genesis, it was the Holy Spirit of God who went into chaos into religion of pharisees, into prideful kings, and leaders who held their position in religious ceremonies greater than knowing the real king of the Jews and changed their glory for shame!
Jesus was always about making peace, but it came by exposing motives of others first and foremost!
As Jesus awaited his impending suffering and death, he stepped aside in isolation to pray. Opposition caused Jesus to feel sorrowful and troubled, overwhelming his soul to the point of death.
We find this in Matthew 26:36-39 Amp. Bible: 36 Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethesemane, and He told His disciples, Sit down here while I go over yonder and pray. 37 And taking with  Him, Peter, and the two sons of Zebedee, He began to show grief and distress of mind and was deeply depressed. 38 Then He said to them, My soul is very sad deeply grieved so that i am almost dying of sorrow. Stay here and keep awake and keep watch with Me. 39 And going a little farther, he threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire.

Jesus, fully God yet fully man,  He still needed his Father. Three times in Gethsemane, Matthew says he “fell with his face to the ground and prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will’” This found in verses 39, 42, 44).

Life should spring forth when we have kept company with God the Father and His Son. Life will spring and it has everything to do with God and His strategic plan for your life and for mine.
May you and I come alive NOW with the life of God that propels us into the greatest move of God for this time, for you and your family  never to be the same in Jesus' name!
Jesus accomplished what He came to do for us! He came to tell us of the love the Father has for us.

May we not be afraid to read of all the goodness the Father has for us! May we read and know without a doubt and then go tell others what great things God has done for us! We need our Father!
