The Chaos of a Nation

 Unity is not about unity of many people in one church gathered. Unity is about the unity of believers in Jesus Christ in one place. You may gather with many males and females, but not all are believers in Christ, the anointed of God. Gathering for the sake of just gathering does not make you one with God. It just means you are gathered with a group of people. And who are we gathered to? Are you gathered to being a "Sanctuary" state for certain individuals who choose to break the law by killing and maiming others?

Was reading in a book my husband got me for Christmas. In this I am reading of the Greek for words used in the Bible. It is so interesting to learn the meanings of these words God saw fit to use through those who would believe in Jesus. In the years before Jesus' appearing on earth, produced by Greek theater, people would gather in a circle around the specific play as such. In those centuries, it was discovered that in ancient synagogues that have been uncovered by archaeologists, that a platform called a "bimah" was found in the center of these main auditorium. It was the "center" where the word of God was given. In this message only truth is given. The teachings were kept in what is called "know before Whom you Stand". The scrolls kept in this area were concealed in a cabinet. It was written for all to see that each of us should know before whom we stand. 

Today, many have their own doctrine. They have the kingdom of music, the kingdom of body parts, the kingdom of foul mouths and the kingdom of lazy, do-nothing doctrine,

My question today: Is there worship for Destructive Doctrine?   1 Peter 2:1-2  NKJV  Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Following I Peter 2:1, in which he admonishes us to rid ourselves of the fruits of spiritual junk food, Peter lists evidence of a mind afflicted with a poor spiritual diet:

1.    Malice is ill will, the desire to inflict pain. ( woman used her vehicle to inflict pain on an I.C.E agent. He had internal injuries when hit on roadway in Minneapolis)

2.   Deceit is lying or crafty, seductive, and slanderous activity. ( changing the news to fit a narrative is wrong in so many ways)

3.   Hypocrisy is pretending to be what one is not.

4.    Envy is the strong desire to possess what belongs to another. ( people want free stuff and debit cards with 10,000. dollars on them monthly.)

5.   Evil speaking is using the tongue to gossip, deceive others, or destroy reputations.  The pure milk of the word helps us to grow! (leaders not secure in their positions are using cursed words to show their courage or strength....I think not)

Peter proceeds to encourage us to crave God's Word just as a baby craves milk. He is not encouraging us to desire elementary spiritual food but emphasizing the energy we should exert to get good spiritual food. Babies demand milk as if their very life hangs in the balance at each feeding.

1.   Exertion to reach for  the Lord’s ways. Reach to hear Him, stretch out to take hold of each of verse the Lord gives us. Reach for His goodness!

2.   Kings search out  a matter:  Proverbs 25: 2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

3.   Romans 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the unsearchable are His judgments and  His ways past finding out!

4.   God’s glory is displayed in His sustaining power. He continues to give and it comes out of a plan from the beginning of time!

The apostle Peter gives God's Word as pure, meaning uncontaminated. It is unpolluted by fraud or deceit. God's Word is truth (John 17:17 NKJV Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

Yet, today in some church sermons, you will find that which points to only one race of people. You find many teaching and some most unusual things are spoken about that Jesus brought to us! We are to crave God's word to abide in His truth. And know His truth, not some made up fantasy! We are not to abide in the word of this culture we see today. Justice has been turned upside down. And that which is truth we are to stay bound to!  Isaiah 59:14 Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. 15 So truth fails, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.

(This nation is submerged in injustice, oppression and falsehood. People have created their own problems. And today they blame their neighbor.) Does this sound familiar to this day and hour? Pray!

 With all the chaos in the nation, the only answer for this nation is found in God’s Word the Bible! The blame game prevails and tragically lives are lost by the selfishness of men or women who are angry with life, with themselves and others. Hate appears in words and violence.  Graffiti spells out hate in the form of that which is against the Jewish nation and most likely our neighbor and often times points out to one race. But God made us all with one blood and the color is still red. Whatever your outside package, you will still bleed out red! Fear not man but fear Him who can cast into hell!

Prayer is needed!  And may we all know the falsehood and stop it before going to the streets! Most certainly we have seen women forget to the count the cost of changing their identity for another. They are choosing to police the police and agents of this government themselves. They give their babies and children to strangers to go stand in the street and fight with cursed words and clubs!

Our country was built on the foundation of God’s words and through time we have seen a broken fellowship with Him. If we truly expect to be God’s children and not just His creation, we must know God and love Him as He loves us.  In this the 21^st century, we have abandoned His truths  & sought out to make our truths the right way.    

Matthew 12:18-21    NIV  18 "Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations. 19 He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets. 20 A bruised reed he will not break, & a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he leads justice to victory. 21 In his name the nations will put their hope."

So it is the willing and the obedient who eat the good of the land. And it was Jesus WHO  was the Servant to whom God had chosen and HE was going to proclaim justice to the nations. He did it by the Holy Spirit.

Having our identity in Jesus, then we

1.       Make an impact in our neighborhoods, in our communities and the world.

2.      Turn from the old man and his old ways, we follow Jesus with every spoken word of God.

3.      In that is justice of God revealed. It is God who desires us to deal what is right and just in every situation, in every conversation, in dealing with people day to day….we are expected to be the honorable person!

Does mercy live in our hearts?  For mercy speaks in kindness and does not manipulate or seek cruelty to others! For tenderness to appear, we must find ourselves in that love of God. For us to love others it will only come through knowing Him who loved us first. This nation was built on the Constitution & the Bill of Rights.  Documents that godly men wrote were to establish this nation. And now men are trying to change those very things that prospered this nation for over two hundred years.

A quote from an unread portion of George Washington’s inaugural speech of 1789 …: “ America would endure until the people of America shall have lost all virtue; until they shall have become totally insensible to the difference between freedom and slavery; until they shall have been reduced to such poverty of spirit as to be willing to sell that pre-eminent blessing, the birthright of the freeman, for a mess of pottage. In short, until they have been found incapable of governing themselves & ripe for a master.”

Today, we have many people, and every color bowing to flesh creature. It is not the character of people we see, it is the madman who is strung up by his own flesh creature. They expose their body parts to parade falsehood in the streets. They show their brain is empty of any wisdom of God!

Will Penn spoke this: “Those who will not be governed by God will be ruled by tyrants.

May Malice, Deceit, Hypocrisy, Envy, and  Evil speaking be removed from us. These are of a kingdom not of God. We should know that it is "  The pure milk of the word helps us to grow"!

We are finding that the garbage dump fire is burning day and night around this old world. Seen in Mark 9:43-48, the worm did not die there. Yes, maggots went through their life-cycles, as all were feeding on the trash there. Through these many centuries, that place known as the Valley of Hinnom is a fitting picture of resurrection of condemnation. (John 5:29)

 Let God arise today and let His enemies be scattered!

Increments of Time

Was working on a teaching for this week, and I thought how my life and those I know have had an amount of years given to each stage of life. In that I mean the amount of time like that which is given to study, but also to marriage, and to having children. Within that, I thought of those who give time to study for a degree in medicine, to learn a specific field and train well in it for another increment of time. For those choosing to become teachers will give time to knowing when their skill learned will bring them a paycheck to make that house payment and pay the electric bill.

In other people's lives, I have seen those who set a time to start their family where both the mother and father have the advantage to be up front and center to care for those newest family members' arrival! In that regard, those who have their children in school might return to a field that they learned while they studied in college or they might choose to go into another field and study a new thing to be active in for another amount of time taken to enrich their life even further.

The list for those occupations include police officers, firefighters, welders, electricians, the doctor, the lawyer, the teacher, janitors, window-washers and even those who are of the clergy. And certainly one in study would like no distractions while they are learning either a trade or being a surgeon. But no matter the field of study, all is important to mankind, just ask the one who requires their appendix removed, or ask the qualified welder when a metal bridge in Oregon has been torn apart by an approaching ship and the bridge is used for passenger trains into the state of Washington.

When thinking of travel in the winter months to work, my husband considers what the temperature outside is, and what, if any precipitation is falling from the sky. The determining factor is anything below 32 degrees with rain can mean that the south side of Columbia river is I-84 running from the east to the west into Portland, Oregon may not have been treated for ice on the roadway!

But did you know there were increments of time given in the Old Testament to declare the Lord Jesus' coming and that salvation would be His goal? Did you know those spoken words were given to alert you and me of His coming and the place He has for each of us?

Moses spoke of Jesus the Messiah, Numbers 24:17-19  I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but not near; a Star shall come out of Jacob; a Scepter shall rise out of Israel, and batter the brow of Moab, and destroy all the sons of tumult. 18 and Edom shall be a possession; Seir also, his enemies shall be a possession, while Israel does valiantly. 19 Out of Jacob One shall have dominion, and destroy the remains of the city.

 Isaiah 53 speaks of the Messiah’s suffering  Isaiah 53:2-5 NKJV For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, & as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. 3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised and we did not esteem Him. 4 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken smitten by God and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed.

His ministry would destroy the works of the devil: Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise His heel.

 (fulfilled in 1 John 3:8) He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Jesus would preach righteousness to Israel Psalm 40:6-9 NKJV "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; my ears You have opened. Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require. 7 Then I said, "Behold I come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me. 8 I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart." 9 I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness in the great assembly; indeed, I do not restrain my lips, O LORD, You Yourself know.

(fulfilled in Matthew 4:17) From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Christ’s Ministry would begin in Galilee:Isaiah 9:2  The people walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.

(fulfilled in Matthew 4:12-17) Now when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, He departed to Galilee. 13 And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali, 14 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: 15 "The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; 16 The people who sat in darkness have a seen a great light, and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death light has dawned."

                             

 He would be betrayed by 30 pieces of silver: Zechariah 11:12-13 NKJV 12 Then I said to them, "If it is agreeable to you, give me my wages; and if not, refrain." So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.13 And the LORD said to me, "Throw it to the potter---that princely price they set on me. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the LORD for the potter.

 (fulfilled in Matthew 27:3-10 ) 3 Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, 4 saying, I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." And they said, "What is that to us? You see to it!" 5 Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself. 6 But the chief priests took the silver pieces and said, "It is not lawful to put them into the treasure, because they are the price of blood." 7 And they consulted together and bought with them the potter's field to bury strangers in. 8 Therefore that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day. 9 Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, "And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the value of Him who was priced, whom they of the children of Israel priced, 10 and gave them for the potter's field, as the LORD directed me."

Christ’s Resurrection Prophesied: Job 19:23-27 Oh, that my words were written! Oh, that they were inscribed in a book! 24 that they were engraved on a rock with an iron pen and lead, forever! 25 For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; 26 and after my skin is destroyed, this I know; that in my flesh I shall see God.

 (fulfilled in John 5:24-29) 24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25 "Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. 26 " For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27 "And has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28 "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29"and come forth---those who have done good to the resurrection of life and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

 Yes, increments of time to study, time to wed, time to work, time to have children, time to retire (?) and the time to go at last into eternity. And whether we had time for Jesus on earth will determine where we will be seen. Yes, we most likely made it to those classes to earn that degree, even went overseas to study for awhile you know, and then one day got that good job. Then a decade has ended and a new one began in seeing a wedding planned and at some point within that decade children enter the new home. Another increment of time and children graduate from high school, they study, have careers and bring their children over to visit the grandparents: Poppi and Mimi! (oh my) No, that is not our names. Please do not call me Mimi, please! But in all of those increments of time, was God placed in the space of time anywhere within a life?

For the Old Testament mentioned Christ's resurrection and it was given again in John 5! It is those who have done good to the resurrection of life and it is of those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

We can see people living their lives and make a point to post it some where. They can tell a story or post a picture from the latest thing or event, but was God a part of it?  Our living is to be holy unto the Lord. And Scripture has been given to lead us to eternity with Jesus! Hopeful we have those set times throughout our day and week that God is first indeed. It is only through Him that we find the Door that is a life in abundance that is of the good, the righteous, the true and is joyful indeed.

Hopefully that in Him, we find the true will of God that Jesus Christ the Redeemer sowed. For certain in this world is sin and misery and the Gospel presented by Jesus was for the purpose of training and testing to become the true witnesses for Him in the preparation of the coming kingdom. We are placed where He desires us to be, and He teaches us by His Holy Spirit. What great price by which the Spirit of God was given! Let us not take it lightly but understand that in Him we live, we move and have our being. We are heirs of His family and eternal life is a guarantee with Him. Hope to see you there!

Would You Have Time for Me?

If I, the stranger, showed up at your work place, would you have time for me? If I came to where you are directing a lab and leading others in a hospital scene, would you have time for me? On Superbowl Day, if I came for prayer at your house, would you have time for me? Would you really stop your day for me, the stranger, to ask about why I was there? Or would we be embarrassed  IF someone showed up at the workplace asking for just a few minutes of time for a prayer in Jesus' name and a word?

What about our priorities? Yes, what about those priorities in the workplace, home and even in city the square? Do we consider ourselves too busy and of importance to come down from a cloud of "important me" to help a stranger who could use a timely word from God?
Do we tell others, "well, I will catch you next Sunday" or " I will catch you next Saturday evening for church"?  Are we just connecting with those "church folks"?
Is Jesus the Lord and Ruler of our hearts in our home and the workplace? What about having a simplicity of life that is one of perfect order, that is quiet filled with the Presence of God? Or do we operate in a place that promotes us, that is very loud, and  carries the promotional neon sign flashing..............."see how I am doing"! "Look at me, look at me!"
Before this day, started, did we truly seek the Lord, submitting the entire length of our day and every encounter with others into His mighty hands for safe keeping? And did it include a stranger?

Let's look at John's ( you remember John the Baptist, right) busy day..........baptizing those who confessed their sins..........calling to those that the "kingdom of God" was at hand!

Matthew 3:4-17.......4 And John himself was clothed in camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him 6 and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins. 7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, "Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. 14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" 15 But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him. 16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."  NKJV

God is order! Jesus had a need to be baptized by John the Baptist! Interesting truth, is this not?

What if God wanted to deliver to you a word in person, and we would not permit the person ( maybe a stranger ) to come to deliver it?  What if another young person comes for prayer and tell of his trouble, and we are all dressed in our pretty white uniform and looking all business, but have no time for the troubled young man and he possibly could be the next Billy Graham? 

God decides the package when He delivers a "message", a prayer, or even a "Word". We do not get to choose that delivery person.

So what if you had been "John the Baptist" and sent Jesus away............"sorry, I am busy here........."!
The religious folks in John's day surely resented him and his way of dress. They did not seem to take him at his word.

They came and asked who he was!

John 1:19-28........................19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?" 20 He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, "I am not the Christ." 21 And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No." 22 Then they said to him, "Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?" 23 He said: "I am

'The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
"Make straight the way of the LORD," '

as the prophet Isaiah said."

24 Now those who were sent were from the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him, saying, "Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?" 26 John answered them, saying, "I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know. 27 It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose." 28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.   NKJV

What I believe is that John was looking for the Promised One, for he speaks, "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

He, John, expressed his looking for the One to come and did not mind telling those religious leaders of the day that they were vipers!
John's day was changed. He was ministering the Word for repentance. He was telling of those Who was to come and changed his day when Jesus arrived!
Now if John had to change his day, should we not be willing to do the same?


We find when reading about Paul, his day was changed. In fact his whole itinerary changed. Let's read it here below!

Acts 16:6-10...................6 Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. 7 When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. 8 So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. 9 During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." 10 After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.  NIV

Paul and his companions tried to cross the border to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to do so. It was then during he night Paul had the vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, "Come over to Macedonia and help us."
Paul's itinerary brought him to Philippi and made his first convert in Europe. We know her as Lydia, " a certain woman named Lydia......who was a seller of purple. (Acts 16:14)
Then Paul and his companion were followed by a slave girl with a spirit of divination. (This is found in Acts 16)

Of course, the final city we find him in before leaving Macedonia for Athens, Greece was Berea (Acts 17:10-14). It was here that he left Silas and Timothy for a short period of time to assist in the work. (Acts 17:15 and Acts 18:5)

Paul was to become acquainted and work with Macedonians like Gaius in Acts 19:29, Aristarchus in Acts 19:29;27:2, Secundus in Acts 20:4, and Sopater in Acts 20:4.

What if when Paul had the vision, he told God, "sorry, I am super busy here!" "Catch me next month!"

In the workplace, we are very busy and do our job well, but when we give God glory ahead and give HIM praise for what He will do in that place that will bring new converts to His kingdom, we should be willing in heart to say, "yes, Lord, change my day and bring whom You will so that I might pray for them, give them a word of encouragement or just a hug"!

I always think of this scripture:Matthew 10:32-33.................32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. NKJV

Are we willing to confess Jesus before men when our "peeps" are not around? Or could we be like the Pharisees and Sadducees.......?

On our trip out East back in the Fall of  2014, we prayed and believed for much success in that trip of gathering information on the health of all my family who lives there. They certainly were important to us, and it was our desire to get there and help for the time we could! On our trip back, my prayer was one of how we might together as a family minister to someone, and the Lord certainly gave us someone to minister to in the workplace.
It was on the third day out, and we wanted a good "breakfast" place to eat, but it seemed that either the place we chose was closed or was nowhere near the area we were driving through on our way west. Finally around or close to noon, we find a restaurant. Still off the main Interstate with some twisting and curving of side road, we arrived at the final destination for "breakfast" food.
It was when we were seated and this young, tall man came out to serve us and he certainly was the "one" God wanted us to minister to on that day! He surely needed an encouraging Word according to what the Lord was showing us and we were certainly excited to deliver it! This young man had such a "spirit of excellence" on him to do a wonderful job! Before we left that place, all of us hugged and looked forward to eternity with Jesus. The young man, as well as us, were invigorated with the breath of life that comes from God and Him alone.  Yes, that place was busy, but we were not intimidated to minister God's life and love to this young man in front of others who were there just to eat.

Yes, we had opportunity to stop many places to eat before arriving back at home, and we saw some people who did not dress for opportunity and offer to go beyond in any manner of their serving patrons at a few restaurants. A couple places, we felt like we should have gotten the food ourselves.

Do we really have time for others?  Do we look out to minister to those "WE DO NOT KNOW" OR ARE WE JUST LOOKING FOR OUR FELLOW PEEPS? You know what I mean, those, who will stroke the kitty cat fur and puff us up TO BUILD OUR EGO, or can we really step out and minister without any stroking and remembrance other on the part of the stranger when they remember we prayed for them in PUBLIC! Like John the Baptist, will we look for those to minister to while they are on our pathway?
What if we need to change up our day, or change up a trip to accommodate what God wants to do for someone He loves?
We are going through once in this life and there are no dress rehearsals. What will people remember about our attitude and character towards others? Will we only embrace those nearest to us and look like us or will we go "to Macedonia" when God calls?



Father, we pray today in Jesus' name that when YOU call, we want to answer with an emphatic "yes". Help us to see where changes can come in our daily life of living and to reach the "stranger" You love with all Your heart.
Like John the Baptist and Paul, You interrupted their lives and brought such change and glory to Your name, we pray for that same kind of move in our lives. May we move from the mundane to the adventurous, from the spectator to the participator in Your plan for the strangers that come across our paths.
 Father, I know we all have questions about our needs, desires and wants. and even what our future looks like, but in reality may we know that we exist to glorify You.  That when days come and we feel beaten down, even by some kind of adverse circumstance, HELP us to know YOU are with us and that YOU desire us to participate with You in meeting with the stranger. Today, we choose not to seek our "peeps" to give us that old familiar pat on the back and shove us forward, to get us up and get us going, but we seek the Supernatural in You. I pray that we would never be confined to the material world but know YOU are our source and In YOU we are not limited!

We are of the Light and dressed in the righteousness of God. We are those with a home that has seated us at the right hand of the Father of glory. We carry His name and are empowered from on high. It is today that we expect our lives to change to minister to the "stranger" and may we never be the same in Jesus' name. Amen.
