Wage Your War

a Run for toilet paper or a standing in God's truth

In 2 Corinthians 10:5 Paul the apostle gives something on the spiritual war! He wrote this in his letter to Corinth: 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

The warfare we encounter is that of the spiritual. The enemy likes to bombard our thinking with thoughts of lack, sickness and even death. But when we are attentive to hearing God’s words about us and speak them back to Him, we are submitting to life in God and agree with what is being spoken.

The continual speaking of those powerful words puts us on the track of alignment with God where there is no sickness, no lack, and certainly no death! We are to pull down anything that is negative and say, " God is more than enough".
Pressure is ever-present and on-going, whether you are a small child, an adult of 21 years of age, 35 years old, 65 years old, or 105 years old, pressures exist…..& we must not conform to the world, but conform ourselves to God.

Romans 12:1-3KJV I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Proverbs 30:7-9…..NKJV…..7 Two things I request of YOU (deprive me not before I die): 8 Remove falsehood and lies far from me, Give me neither poverty nor riches----“Feed me with the food allotted to me; 9  lest I be full and deny You, And say “Who is the LORD?” or lest I be poor and steal, and profane the name of my God.”
This person was praying and his prayer is toward that he not be tempted to move away from God. And he prayed his needs would be met by God.

Matthew 6:11…NKJV…Give us the day our daily bread.
Our day must begin in the daily bread of life in Christ Jesus. He is the Bread of life! John 6:48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is my flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.

Paul was the example of living in Christ and living in the kingdom that had come. The kingdom that Jesus came to set up is not with a war of words, but in demonstration of the Spirit’s power in and through the person who is submitted to God! We wage our war according to that which is truth standing against all the lies of the enemy!
Kingdom ministry is for anyone who is  born-again unto Jesus, will live a life as an example of and to the power of the Holy Spirit.  A life lived out in faith is by speaking faith filled words. It is a place where signs and wonders will be seen, miracles will appear, and your voice will be of boldness for the things of God and for His glory and not ours….! Amen.

It will never be the place where fear is found! Fear is of the enemy. Fear is to take a person out, remove him from gatherings and remove his voice from speaking truth! It is God who gave us power, love and a sound mind. He gave us power in His authority to operate in His love with the mind of Christ. ( 2 Timothy 1:7, 1 John 4:16, 1 Corinthians 2:16)

The Genuine will speak truth and nothing contrary to God’s Word. They carry a right behavior in speech and conduct toward his neighbor and not their opinion of their neighbor. If we are seeking proof of Jesus in another person, then we must look to examine ourselves. For God will always reveal those who are His. Psalm 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant.

We can either be an influence that is of a force that raised Jesus from the dead or we can act like the “world”. You can see that today. People taking out for a run on toilet paper. What will it be next week?

God has placed us here, positioned us to be at this place right now at this time, and in this we will speak, not that wage a war of words, but by and of the Holy Spirit that demonstrates the gospel in spirit and truth.  For in that authority, one speaks in boldness, disciplines himself in the strength and firmness of God’s word, declares His goodness and gives praise for His goodness in the land of the living. Today, we are to stand boldly in the face of the enemy and declare God, expecting His presence and seeing other’s changed by His glory in the place!

To wage your war, you must be set on the things of God. If we truly abide in His kingdom, we believe by faith we have no lack, we have no sickness nor  death! And we behave in a manner that brings glory to our Father in heaven.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just & upright shall live & shall live by faith……………Amen.

Faith will speak. Our actions will declare in what and where our heart is satisfied. You and I are born again unto God’s purpose and through Jesus we are to shine ….for God’s glory. Amen. Make certain that faith in God is found in you! And then receive these words of truth that maintain a life holy unto God….live in a conduct of faith that glorifies God….

From Romans 12:9-21…NKJV.. I PRAY that my love be without hypocrisy. I abhor what is evil. I cling to what is good. 10 I confess to …..Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 I am rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. 14 I choose to Bless those who persecute(ME); bless and (to) not curse. 15 I will Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 (TO)  Be of the same mind toward one another.(AND that I) Do not set (MY) mind on high things, but associate with the humble.(HELP ME LORD TO)  not be wise in MY own opinion. 17 Repay no one evil for evil. (I truly desire to )Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on ME, live peaceably with all men.    I WILL NOT BE OVERCOME BY EVIL, BUT OVERCOME EVIL WITH GOOD! (v. 21)
