For God So Loved the World....

For God so loved the world that He gave.....
In keeping with the year that is coming to an end, we are ever mindful of that what 2020 may hold for each of us on this earth, still God so LOVED the world that He gave. He gave of His great love to each and every person the opportunity to receive that love through His Son Jesus Christ! To live through Him is being reconciled back to God that was given away for lust in the Garden of Eden!

Jesus Who lived the perfect life, interrupted lives of those whom He came to save: those living for themselves, those living only for a religious life and those who sought out God. And Jesus, the perfect expression of the Fathers' love on earth appeared. He expressed God's love that sickness could not have a hold on anyone. He expressed that at the Pool of Bethesda that man could take up his mat and walk away from disability and pain.
In John 5:4-9 we are told of the angel that would come and stir the water and whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. (John 5:4)

Now of the multitudes lying in this place surrounding the pool that day, Jesus only came to one person. Of all those that had laid there for years, He only approached him. Jesus asks him in John 5:6 "Do you want to be made well?" Verse 7 gives us the answer of the man: he gives an excuse that he has no help to get in the pool! But Jesus tells him in verse 8 to "Rise, take up your bed and walk." And immediately the man was made well, he took up his bed and walked. And it was the Sabbath!

Certainly if we have made our bed to lie down in something and think we require others to get us out is wrong thinking. No excuses when Jesus appears! When Jesus, the Son of love came to those with diseases and disabilities they did not have to stay in that condition. But our hearts must be willing to hear His speaking and then do it! Our heart must be determined to not take sickness to our body. Our heart must be ready to hear life and a truth that delivers!
It is Christ's life-giving power that came to that man to live out what he was purposed for in that life. Many think God makes people sick, but God did not come to kill, to destroy, but the adversary did in the beginning in the Garden of Eden.

Purpose was killed by the pursuit of the flesh nature. Relationship was initiated by God. We find this in Romans 5:6-11 NKJV For when we were still without strength, in due time, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Yes, God initiated the relationship with us. He made the way possible so that we can have fellowship with Him. Through relationship, trust appears! It is love reaching out in expressive joy to connect with God the Creator to the man His creation! So faith is working, yes active in God who first expressed relationship that is true and is life! God has purpose for man on earth, although many will not heed His word or obey His call to live for Him.

Nonetheless, Jesus came to set captives free from things that began in the garden of Eden. Human nature got in the way of the divine plan of God. The devil was wanting to destroy the purpose God had set for man and we can see this continue today. We wonder why a young man would choose to strap a bomb to his body to kill others. We wonder why someone would choose to go into a mall, not walking but driving an SUV just to plow down those shopping at the Mall! What is in their thinking to derive at such an attitude to kill others and possibly themselves? Most likely they are living without the one true God, the Creator of heaven and earth. For hate is only found in the devil and again this was seen in the Garden of Eden. Know anyone like this?

Relationship was certainly thought of in that given in the book of Luke. Jesus comes upon a scene that is a funeral procession in progress. And Jesus interrupts the world!
In this a young man who had died, is being carried out in a coffin as Jesus passes by. We can see this in Luke 7:12-15 And He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep." 14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "young man, I say to you, arise." 15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.

Jesus saw the broken heart of a mother weeping for her son!
Can you imagine the conversation between this young man who was dead and his mother? Can you imagine how long they talked on the subject from when he had died and when he appeared alive again to be with his mother and care for her as before?  Do we even notice when God is trying to interrupt our lives? They did this particular day and the dead young man sat up and lived!

You may be dealing with sickness that the enemy has placed on you or you may have made a bed to lie in that others will comfort you in that bed of comfort, for warm thoughts but no life in reality of that which God holds for us all. We have life to live through Jesus Christ. Without Him we remain the weak without strength, but in Him we can walk out of silly circumstances and painful death- causing situations when we arise to His word, to hearing Him speak and become what God the Father purposed for us to live and be lived out now in this lifetime.

Do not let the enemy tell you that your days are done or that you have nothing to give to others. If you are alive and breathing, there is still opportunity for it has not been taken away, but you have to choose release what God placed in you back to Him, yes, through the salvation message and make Jesus your Lord.  But you must then promptly make time for God to praise Him for your new life, thank HIM that majesty on high has appeared to you.  Yes be thankful He has appeared and He came in love to save you!

Yes, that babe was wrapped in swaddling clothes and He was placed in a manger but He is the Risen King and is Lord of Lords! He is ever present to bring us to wholeness and life that releases us into the prosperity of goodness in God. It is by faith to do what the Lord has planned for us to do now.
Enjoy this time, enjoy family and enjoy friends but also remember the babe grew up. He is manifested wisdom to us.

Though the world appears to be spinning out of control. Despair is being found in the hearts of men, still God is alive and He holds those who by faith who believe in Him. He has gripped us with His hand of strength, holding us in the heart of His love, that we would be encouraged in the promises sent from heaven.
We do not require Ironman nor Spiderman.....no we have Jesus Christ, the Lord of Glory!

For what lies before us in 2020 and beyond that might be unsettling to some. But you and I do not have to despair for the difficult or the suddenly's of life for our hearts are set on and with Jesus Christ. And on the other side we rule and reign with Him. ( 2 Timothy 4:18) The Lord will deliver us from every evil work and preserve us for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen.
