Hebrews 4:14-16 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Notice we are to come boldly to the throne of grace, that we (you and me) may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. YOU and I do not require reservations at this time, we come openly to Him with trust. We come in faith expecting to see grace for our present moment and for our future. Jesus walked before us through His death, burial and resurrection.
Our freedom comes in Jesus Christ. It is by faith that you and I become free of fear from the very fear of death. As our High Priest, we know the One who understands our temptations and can help us as we become free from sin.
Hebrews 12:8-29 Therefore since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptable with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
Jesus brought us much revelation. Upon His return to earth, the signal is given to remove all temporal in order that only heavenly and spiritual realities may remain.
So, yes, your reality program will no longer remain. Heaven comes to earth, and Jesus made it known when He came as a babe in Bethlehem. It was about bringing peace on earth and that was through Jesus Christ the son of God!
In regard to the written Word of God we can see where sin plays a role in the lives of people.
For every
problem, individual or national, has its root embedded in sin. But what causes
sin?
1.
Wrong
desires brought to fruition, and everyone—from peasant to king—is subject to
wrong desires. As to this country, it would be from the people all the way to the President. That is why it is important for your leadership as the President be one who has received Jesus as Lord of their lives.
2.
From
the beginning of time, sinners have blamed their sins on others. Satan blamed
God, Eve blamed Satan, and Adam blamed Eve.
3. If your parents were divorced, you might have seen one blamed in the separation of family and of lives. Sin certainly plays a big role in lives of people. Sin would be helpless if it did not appeal to
something in man. It is through desires that man's human nature kicks in to action. If a
man desires long enough through the meditation process, the consequence is virtually inevitable. Desiring long enough certainly becomes action to perform.
By the grace of God sin and its desire can be eliminated! If you and I humbly and thoughtfully give ourselves to Christ, to knowing Him and the Word he is then manifested on earth. It is when you and I truly get involve in that which is of the Father's will for us on earth then we certainly have much less time for evil desires.
Hebrews 13:9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.. 10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.
You and I as the tabernacle of God must rely on the food God has provided. It must not be foods of myth or traditions. You and I, by His grace are separated unto Him. It is by removing ties to traditions of men and fables. Our food is that which reveals that the kingdom of God has come. By the sacrifice of Jesus, you and I have secured that personal and intimate access to God. (Hebrews 10:22)
Let's worship for His return. Let us eagerly live our lives that is worship unto Him and not to a culture that is fading away.
For you and I should not be distracted by the new "fads", that new gimmick, or a "new doctrine" for our lives should look like holy lives filled with faith and overflowing with honor to Him.
Father thank You for Grace...thank You for Jesus and that which came through Him. I pray from Hebrews 12: 25 that we not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, 26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised saying, Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven. 27 (For Father) "yet once more " indicates the removal of those things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 (for You our Father) are a consuming fire.
Father thank You for the removal of that which is not needed in our lives, that we receive the heavenly and spiritual realities to remain in Him forever. Amen.
