A Witness that the Fire is Still Burning

Fire is Still BURNING
Hearing a message on 'faith' today, I was refreshed in the teaching and the greatness of God's word to us. As I meditated on this word found in Mark 10, I thought on Blind Bartimaeus and was rejoicing that many years ago I found this word most uplifting and yes, life-changing. I remember the first time I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to give this message at Chapel for Jail Ministry.
My husband and I were talking about some subject today and as we talked I told him of an encouraging word from this prophet. Although I do not know people to call him that, yet, every word he has given is always one to refresh and encourage. I receive the blogs he writes weekly and how gave this word how God is ready to perform His word. While praying and hearing this word on Bartimaeus, I was seeing that life of Moses and how God had used him. And yes, I have written on this recently and a young friend of ours had been in contact with us that involved this word that was given them years ago and how now it is coming to pass this month!
So in all this, I heard the Holy Spirit speak of Moses and how God did not blame him for all his mistakes when Moses witnessed the burning bush. Yet, you know man still holds things against you and I. There is still that man who only remembers the one wrong thing you did, but not all the right things you did. When they give you a word to try to encourage they come from the place of where you need forgiveness for the wrong you did .....but thanks be to God who  does not do that......for it is God who blesses indeed. God knows all and is very award of all in the world, but He still wants us to participate with Him........ God still has fire for us telling us we are not burn out nor have we gone without fire!

Exodus 2:11-16  Amp. Bible 11 One day, after Moses was grown, it happened that he went out to his brethren & looked at their burdens; & he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of [Moses’] brethren. 12 He looked this way & that way, & when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian & hid him in the sand. 13 he went out the second day & saw two Hebrew men quarreling & fighting; & he said to the unjust aggressor, Why are you striking your comrade? 14& the man said, Who made you a prince & judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian? Then Moses was afraid & thought, Surely this thing is known. 15 When Pharaoh heard of it, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from Pharaoh’s presence & took refuge in the land of Midian, where he sat down by a well. 16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughter’s, & they came & drew water & filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.

Exodus 3:1-10 Amp. Bible   Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro ,his father-in-law, the priest of Midian; & he led the flock to the back or west side of the wilderness & came to Horeb or Sinai, the mountain of God.    2 The Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; & he looked, & behold, the bush burned with fire, yet was not consumed.
3 And  Moses said, “I will turn now turn aside & see this great sight, why the bush is not burned. 4 & when the Lord saw he turned aside to see. God called to him out of the midst of the bush & said, Moses, Moses!” & he said, Here am I!”

Exodus 3: 5-10… God said, Do not come near; put your shoes off your feet, for the place on which you stand is holy ground. 6 Also He said, I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God. 7 & the Lord said, I have surely seen the afflictions of My people who are in Egypt, & have heard their cry because of their taskmasters & oppressors; for I know their sorrows and sufferings and trials.
8 & I have come down to deliver them out of the hand & power of the Egyptians & to bring them up out of that land to land good & large, a land flowing with milk & honey [ a land of plenty] to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite & the Jebusite. 9 Now behold the cry of the Israelites has come to Me & I have also seen how the Egyptians oppress them. 10 come now therefore, & I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring forth My people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.

Now, yes I did just write in this blog on this Moses and I had gotten back this wonderful response of what God continues to do in our lives when we truly abide daily, always connected to the Source of Him! ( this dear one shared the goodness of God and the word given them in a service that they were late for,  and stood at the back of the room, but God met them there in the dark side of the room to speak directly to them..... and He is still operating in their lives today)

Captured by the sight of the burning bush, God certainly heard Moses heart and Moses with the humbled heart would himself turn to see what this burning bush meant. Moses touched God's heart by revering Him. And God gave Moses directions to not come near but do take off your shoes from your feet understanding God is holy and has nothing to do with sin.

God did not take an hour to describe how Moses had let HIM down when he Moses had killed the Egyptian, and God did not remind of all the other past mistakes, God had "this moment" to be speaking with Moses. And on God's heart was the cries of His people. This was given us in verse 9 of chapter 3 of Exodus: " Now behold the cry of the Israelites has come to Me & I have also seen how the Egyptians oppress them. 10 Come now therefore, & I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring forth My people, the Israelites, out of Egypt."

When Moses appeared in the wilderness and had come to Median, he had come from the strife of man to live in a place called strife. He would have no ease of life like he had as the son of Pharaoh. If you remember Stephen told us that Moses was educated in all the wisdom and culture of the Egyptians and he was powerful in his speech and deeds. Moses most likely acted like a Prince! (Acts 7:22) But Moses came to the wilderness and had to learn to survive. His clothing would have to be changed to that of a sheepherder.

God revealed the fire still burning. God was still active in Moses' life and Moses' had to see it. I also think it is powerful to see that these people were those as the sons of Abraham, those who had the father of faith. So now, God was sending Moses to his past to reconcile the people of God's eye back to God's personal involvement. Any personal time with God always involves our faith to be active. And it is our faith that pleases God. (Hebrews 11:6) Sometimes you can just be living out your week, when along comes someone who needs a touch from God and you seeing that person, and hearing God's heart you reach out to them in His truth, His love and His power.

Yes, there came that moment of a face off with Pharaoh!

A Face Off with Pharaoh: Exodus 5:1-2 NIV Afterward Moses & Aaron went in & told Pharaoh, “Thus says the LORD God of Israel: “Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.”  2 Pharaoh said, "Who is the LORD, that I should obey him & let Israel go? I do not know the LORD & I will not let Israel go."

When man chooses his ways above that of God, he can find himself trying to dig his way out of a miry mess. Bartimaeus heard the crowd of people walking with Jesus and called out, "Son of David have mercy on me!" When one is blind and cannot lead them self out, they need help in a big way. Hearing of Jesus and hearing of His signs and wonders would propel this man to see Jesus and leave his past behind where the blind lead the blind. Bartimaeus had faith in Jesus for his healing.

In looking at the face off of Moses and Aaron with Pharaoh, we find the plagues were presented to him who had the 'hardened heart'. As Pharaoh was considered at that time as the embodiment of the god Horus, the king of the gods of the earth. Pharaoh held a view of himself as he who had a fortified city, he who had the great garrison of soldiers and charioteers, he who had qualified men to drive teams of horses for Pharaoh's advantage and prestige. Their Abrabian horses were bred to be used for the endurance of the run in the harsh and very dry climates of the Egyptian desert.

Still what wealth seen in this place will not make up for the hardness of a heart set for self worship. And Moses would have known the greatness of the special foods, the fabulous dressing apparel, for he experienced them living in Pharaoh's palace. Yet diseases were rampant and plagues were on their way to him who held such arrogance before God and God's people.
For whatever cure for Moses in the wilderness, his acknowledgement of God proved by the humble heart to speak to that which needed a healing from God the healer before the burning bush.

God showed the burning bush for Moses sake, but the signs and wonders that would come later would indicate God on the scene of His people. Jeremiah 31:2-3 Message Bible.......... This is the way God put it: "They found grace out in the desert, these people who survived the killing. Israel, out looking for a place to rest, met God out looking for them!" God told them, "I've never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love and more love!

For you who have been given a word years or even decades ago, know that God will not forget what He has spoken and He will perform that word to come to pass in your lifetime. He has chosen this time to do what He, God does for His people's sake.

He does not want to talk you about your past unless you keep bringing it up to others, but repentance means we have turn from wicked ways. We should not desire to trust in our own hearts for it only appears as the heart of the 'fool'.

Choose this day to continue with your Father God and know He has the right path for you to take. It will be for His glory and to His praise. Lord, help my brothers and sisters in Christ to stay wise and separate from anything that might tempt them away from the high mark You have for their lives. For You our Father God hold the answers and You will most certainly perform them. May my brothers and sisters in Christ walk in those steps You have ordered in the  ministry destined to those who know this word is theirs indeed.......in Jesus' name. Amen

WE Heard the Message!

WE heard the Message!
John 10:9-17 NKJV 9 I am the door: If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved; and will go in and out and find pasture.  10  The thief does not come except to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12 But a hireling , he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, & the wolf catches the sheep & scatters them. 13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling & does not care about the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd & I know My sheep,& am known by My own. 15  As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father;& I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring,& they will hear My voice; & there will be one flock & one shepherd. 17 Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.

Jesus the Shepherd called those to hear Him. It was and is for the intimate and personal terms. Specifically He called us out of a dying world to go to live in His spiritual kingdom which will come to earth after the Tribulation.

God enabled us to hear ....yes, those to whom He would call to be His own.

The Startling Truth: Romans 8:30 : "Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and who He justified, these He also glorified." Only the called are justified! Justification through repentance and by the atoning blood of Jesus Christ is what permits us into the presence of God, enabling further growth to glorification in God's Kingdom! WE heard the Message!

AND God says Come Come,  unto Me. Spend that time with Me. I will put that ring on your finger, the robe on your shoulders, the sandals on your feet. We will slay the "fatten" calf and have sweet fellowship together. Come, says the Lord. Come.  …………………..Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

God likes that time to spend with us. We find in Matthew 6:6 that when we pray, we are to go into our room, and when we have shut the door, we pray to our Father which is in the secret place; and He our Father which sees in secret shall reward us openly.

The Miraculous Occurred: for you and I to see Him and  to hear His voice. Salvation came to us when others refused it: Acts 28:28  therefore let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles and they will hear it!”

Jesus Told Us In John 14:15…that if we love Him, we should keep His commands. Today you and I know there is a “war of words” going on!  Men are trying to change what the Bible speaks about life and death and those who are God's children.

But God sent forth His word and healed … Psalm 107:20 -22 He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction's. 21 Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men. 22 Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing.
You and I should not be acting like the world, but receiving the kingdom which has come through Jesus.

Jesus spoke this: Matthew 13: 10-17 NKJV And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” 11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. 12 “for whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

Yes, the miraculous to hear and to hear more has been given us…..ARE we excited about this?  Matthew 13: 13 “Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled , which says:
Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive; 15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing. And their eyes they have closed.
Lest they should see with their eyes & hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts & turn, so that I should heal them.
16 But blessed are your eyes for they see, & your ears for they hear. 17 For assuredly, I say to you, that many prophets & righteous men desired to see what you see, & did not see it, & to hear what you hear, & did not hear it.

Yes, prophets and those righteous men desired to see what the disciples saw in Jesus. He was the One who came to save the lost. They were excited for the day to have that same relationship always with the Lord God.  If our hope is in the Kingdom of God, the resurrection of the dead, and sharing life with God eternally are not sufficient to motivate us to repent, perhaps the fear of a terrible calamity, the Great Tribulation, the Day of the Lord, or that being spewed from God's mouth as a Laodicean will move us to use the present to secure the future.
The word going out today is that the church has become the Laodicean church. But God is so loving and merciful, would not staying out of hell and away from His presence propel us into His goodness quicker? Pharaoh had to know the plagues coming his way when he harden his heart toward God. Even Cain drew that breath of hardness in refusing life with God to do his own thing.
God prophesies motivates us to cling to Him and His Word right now, and He is willing to scare us nearly to death in order to save us.

If we think long on the Israelites and remember their desire was to be known as seekers of the truth, but in reality they did not want it. Their pride would not allow them to pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the truth, for that meant they would need to humble themselves before the Word of God.

Amos 8:11-12 NKJV  11 "Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord GOD,

"That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the LORD.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD,
But shall not find it.

Yes, there is a thirst today for the man or the woman as they cannot find the teaching that Jesus came to set down. The gospel was not to be changed nor was it to ever be set aside for men to just have testimony time and not know what God has spoken from those Scriptures He set down for us to adhere to for life. Yes, we have heard the Message, but what have we done with it? Do we share it with others, read it faithfully knowing God sent it faithfully to earth by His Holy Spirit. For there is one thing we should never lack and that is God's word that have released us from captivity to live for Him, to live in power and have healthy bodies to glorify Him. I do not know about you, but I am grateful today for the Message that has been sent to this world and that I heard it. For in it we are empowered to be all that God purposed for our lives and that means a lot more than anything the world can dish out. I will take the truth of God every time.

Father, thank You for the good Shepherd.  We are thankful for the Open door for Your kingdom that has come……Your words are top priority to us. They are spirit and they are life. WE let the Word of God dwell  in us richly in all wisdom. The ability of God is released within us by the words of our mouth and by the Word of God.  WE speak YOUR words out of our mouth. They are alive in us. You are alive and working in us now, so WE can boldly say that OUR words are words of faith, words of power, words of love, and words of life. They produce good things in our life and in the lives of others. Because WE choose Your Words for our lips, WE choose Your will for our life, and WE go forth in that power of those words & to see them performed in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

O, Father, may we make a beautiful sound for You! We heard the message.

Deliver Out of Conflict

To DELIVER OUT OF CONFLICTExodus 3: 10-14 NKJV “Come now, therefore, & I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel out of Egypt. 11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, & that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” 12 So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you; When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.” 13 Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel & say to them. ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you, & they say to me, ‘what is His name?” what shall I say to them?” 14 And God said to Moses, “I am Who I am.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, “I AM has sent me to you.”

God had heard the tears of those under hostile rule! Pharaoh was leading his nation and used the Hebrew nation to work making bricks for building! Now from this passage, Moses work is about shepherding sheep in the wilderness area. And one day, his attention was caught by a bush on fire but it was not consumed. He had moved closer to see this burning bush and when he had turned aside Moses heard God calling to him. Exodus 3:4 " Moses, Moses!" And he said, "here I am."

In this commanding event, God's presence is experienced. in Exodus 3:7 the LORD makes known the oppression He had seen of His people. He spoke to Moses that He knew the sorrow of His people in regard to the harsh treatment by the Egyptians. So here in verse 10 God is appointing Moses to go to Pharaoh and to bring His people out of Egypt. Moses spoke, but he spoke out of his insecurity, " Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt? And then God  speaks: "I will certainly be with you."  And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you; When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.” 13 Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel & say to them. ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you, & they say to me, ‘what is His name?” what shall I say to them?” 14 And God said to Moses, “I am who I amM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, “I AM has sent me to you.”

Yes, insecurity plagued Moses. And he spoke in Exodus 4:1 "But suppose they will not believe me or listen to my voice; suppose they say, 'The LORD has not appeared to you.'"
Yes wonders would be seen and people would know that God was with Moses. But he was desiring someone else to speak. Insecurity is a devastating thing! Moses was not released from his appointment to meet with Pharaoh.

Now Moses had stepped out to help a Hebrew, but while trying to rescue the man, the other was killed and Moses hid the Egyptian's body. And on his second day out, he Moses encountered two men jostling one another. To the one who did wrong, Moses spoke: "Why are you striking your companion?" Exodus 2: 14 "Who made you a prince and judge over us?  Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian ? " So Moses feared and said, "Surely this thing is known!"
And when Pharaoh heard of this matter: Exodus 2:15 ....he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian, and he sat down by a well.
So Moses is found in the wilderness and along with it, he also took a wife Zipporah, the daughter of Jethro (Reuel)

Timing is everything in the kingdom of God! Moses was not the perfect man, but neither are we, yet God used Moses for God's glory. Moses encounters Pharaoh and though a different one now rules in the place of the one who had sought Moses, still there must have been some thoughts of those possibly still living who saw him kill the Egyptian.
From shepherding sheep, now Moses is shepherding people, but first he has to rescue them with God's hand. Encountering this new Pharaoh, Moses most likely encountered those who knew him  in the royal palace. But his appointment was at hand and he asked for Pharaoh to let the people go.

Delivery comes for the Hebrew nation. Much speaking was done and miracles were preformed. And the proper response to the power of God is to fear or be in awe of Him! Moses trusted in the LORD and held obedience to do what God asked him to do.

God used Moses, one who considered himself inadequate for a useful vessel in the hands of God. Still God used Moses and Moses continued his relationship with God.
Ever thought of Moses, a man brought up in a palace and who lived most of his life in the wilderness?  Seriously, he was born Hebrew of slaves under the rule of a Pharaoh and whose people were all "slave" workers who had to build with straw and mud. Lifted out of water to become the son of Pharaoh's daughter, and was being protected by God. For whatever his Hebrew name was, only his parents would have known, for he was renamed Moses by the Princess! Educated in all things taught, yes, by Janees and Jambrees. Remember them? But ultimately Moses was taught their "wisdom". He was certainly kept from harm.  He was protected by God Himself to see a day when Moses would serve God's purposes!

Moses had lived in the "lap of luxury"! Like Moses, even from his birth, it looked like the devil was trying to kill him! Taken from his family to live in a palace and learn the ways of the Egyptians. That was a "big cost" to the family who gave birth to him and loved him dearly.
Moses, the one drawn out of the water, to live in a palace and learn the ways of the Egyptians and to one day hide in the wilderness, tend to sheep, to see and be 'in awe of' a burning bush' that was never consumed. It was his command from God that would take place "out in the wilderness".

His appointment took him into the wilderness, yet many a Bible believing and church attending person will tell you that this is not a place to be. They will give excuses for the one who is in the "wilderness" place. But I am one who knows of it and I write about it because whatever our beginnings and whatever our shortcomings, there is still a God who cares and will speak to us. If we will but listen and pay attention to the appearance of the burning bush.
For you may have aborted that expected appointment by choosing friends over the Holy Spirit, choosing to sing instead of hearing intently what the Spirit would say to you, or choosing to take that job in no-wheres-ville to end up running to the wilderness....still that burning bush will appear.
Yes, God's presence will be noted and He will most likely call you by your name. And understand that He is not finished with you. For God's heart toward us is that He saved us by the blood of His Son, He rescued us from death, from hell and by grace, HE protects us daily by His ever watchful eye and He is establishing us in His kingdom that has come.

Anybody outside the justice of God will bargain with anything to gain the advantage over another person. We can see how Moses dealt with the hostile Egyptian. We must deal accurately with people and in doing so we abide in that place that is honest and transparent in those dealings. But those who choose to make deals in getting that heart's desire...might end up with more than a bad deal, but end up with the empty deal, the falsehood that has no life to it. Seeking justice for ourselves and others is seeking that which comes only from God and hopefully by the man or woman who has Jesus as Lord of their lives. Jesus came to relieve the oppressed, to judge the fatherless and plead for the widow.

Those who are the ‘redeemed’ of the Lord know Jesus as the ruler of their hearts. His reign is a health to them, He is prosperity, happiness and peace. They hold the banner of victory knowing God sent Jesus into the battle and He came out victorious for us. He is our justice who brought us wisdom from God that is inexhaustible, the Truth and the Way which guides us daily into our future which is life!
