Bound to the Word of God and Ministry

Was hearing a teaching today on Paul and Silas being jailed in Acts 16. And we know it was praise that set them free, yet they did not leave where they could continue to minister life to others. Today we see people ready to break and run and they know not where they want to run to. Heard this mayor in Illinois who is turning away the illegal’s to suburban areas to keep them out of Chicago. I thought they made that state a sanctuary state for all kinds of people to come in? Some people change on a flip of a coin! Some people have agendas!

In scripture we find those still confined to the laws of the land. But many laws within this land and this culture today go beyond the conscious mind to being downright evil. Evil to children, in wanting to change their identity. Now I can tell you that is the work of the devil for he had words with Jesus in the wilderness.

In Titus 3: 1 remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities to obey, to be ready for every good works, 2 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

Certainly we are to obey laws, especially those that keep you out of error like on highways, and to obey that of children in school to be educated to read and write and not for some new gender assignment. How many took something that was evil and stole their life in the last few years?

In Redemption, we have a new home, and we abide by the truth given in that which is of God and His grace, the love of His Son for our salvation and Holy Spirit for power on earth now. We remember our worldly behavior in our pre-conversion lives but we also realize of the love and kindness God has toward those still lost in the lust of their sins!

The HOPE, our HOPE came through Jesus Christ!   In Luke 4:2….Luke  4: 1 Then Jesus being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 being tempted for forty days by the devil . And in those days He ate nothing & afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry. 3 And the devil said to Him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” 4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God.  5 Then the devil taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, & their glory for this has been delivered to me, & I give it to whomever I wish.

7 Therefore if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” 8 And Jesus answered and said to him. “Get behind Me Satan! For it is written you shall worship the LORD your God & Him only you shall serve.” 9 Then be brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, & said to Him, “If you are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here.

Just to note here that Jesus spoke: “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God.  “Get behind Me Satan! For it is written you shall worship the LORD your God & Him only you shall serve. And this in verse 12: 12 And Jesus answered & said to him, “It has been said, You shall not tempt (test) the LORD your God.

The devil speaks in the beginning of v. 10> Luke 4: 10 For it is written: He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you.’ 11 and, In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ 12 And Jesus answered & said to him, “It has been said, You shall not tempt (test) the LORD your God.” 13 Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.   14 Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee & news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. 15 And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

The actual wording spoken or given in verse 10-11 from Psalm 91 : 11-12 For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.  In all your ways: is God will give His angels charge over us when we are obedient to Him and in service to Him.  That which is of our heart is set totally on God, God will keep us safe! Not serving the world or the things of the world….not a culture of the flesh or of the culture of death

Jesus spoke that which was written to make the charge against Satan, for he Satan had spoke to Eve and got her to agree with him in the garden!

God said this in Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die.”

And Satan said this: Genesis 3: 1-4 and he said to the woman, “has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘you shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.” 4 then the serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not surely die.”

Satan changed it from every tree of the garden you may freely eat to you shall not eat of every tree of the garden.  It is important that we know what has been given in the written word of God!

( We are the enlightened, we are in Him, we are His inheritance, His saints and by revelation we walk that way.)

In the Wilderness we find what has our heart: for Israel, the wanted to return to bask in Egyptian food, and making bricks without straw….Exodus 16:3 -4 NKJV  3 And the children of Israel said to them, “Oh that we had died by the add of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the post of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger. 4 Then the LORD said to Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them. Whether they will walk in My law or not.

In Numbers 11 they craved meat: V.4 Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: Who will give us meat to eat? 5 We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons ,the leeks,  the onions, and the garlic. 6 but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!

What has your heart, what has my heart?  This we have seen in Luke 4 and Matthew 4: man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD

Remembering God and speaking God’s words reminds us of His faithfulness.  God testing them proved if their hearts were for Him or for themselves; were they meditating on Him! They were brought through the wilderness to find that privacy with God who delivered them…..Do we find those times with God who has delivered us….in times of trouble, pain, heartbreak…lack….! For us to have spiritual survival, we must have God’s word.

If you awoke this morning at 3 a.m. was God's word coming out of your mouth?

We should stay with Jesus! We should stay within the protective casing of God’s word for our lives. Paul and Silas stayed and spoke of the Lord in praise. Held in bondage, they spoke with hearts on fire for Him!

ACTS 16:25-34…..25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, "Do yourself no harm, for we are all here." 29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" 31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. 34 Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.

TO A SEEING EYE AND A HEARING EAR………….PAUL AND SILAS CHOSE TO REJOICE IN THE LORD IN PRAISE. And as they praised the Lord, the prisoners listened to them seen in verse 25. And in verse 26 an earthquake shook the foundations and the cell doors were loosened.

AN Attitude in the midnight hour………..doing our best, knowing God’s plan and Word for us and still the storms of life come, but we speak in all hours of the day and night and we expect Him. We expect His Presence and His word to be spoken that sets the captives free. Are you captive to something? Worship the Lord, give praise to His name and see His wonderful acts of love for you today!

In light of the ministry of the Lord, He gave us understanding. Ephesians 1:18 the eyes of our your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.

The Spirit of revelation working in us, that glory of His inheritance in the saints. God’s purpose, that unveiling of our hearts to live spiritually God’s way by His word. In that anointed word, we see yokes destroyed. But we must continue. We must speak continually that word of power and give praise to Him who gave it to us. In that we prevail by His mighty word. WE are set free!

Come Out of Terror

Scripture tells us of  Jesus walking in the porches of Bethesda and talked with a man asking him ,”do you want to be made well?”

Saw this teaching today on a God-channel. In this teaching the man gave history of Jerusalem in the time of Jesus. Loving history as I do, I paid great attention to this teaching. I also recorded it to hear again and again.

Here the Scripture: John 5:1-17 After this there was a feast of the Jews, & Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there was a pool, which is called in Hebrews, Bethesda, having porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool & stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity 38 years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well? 7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” 8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed  and walk.” 9 and immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured. “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.” 11 He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’12 Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk?” 13 But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdraw, a multitude being in that place. 14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” 15 The man departed & told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. 16 For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. 17 But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”

You most likely have heard and read this passage many times over the course of a year and even more over your lifetime. In my hearing I heard Jesus walked through the porches of Bethesda. But what I also heard of the history at that time has given me a whole new take on what was occurring when Jesus appeared. Adventure in the Gospels this morning showed me history of Israel at the time of Jesus and the account when the Assyrians came to take the land of Israel proved horrific. When the Assyrians attacked or invaded, they mixed with some of the Jews. And the mixing caused a change in people, their government and ways of life. It gave way to worship strange things.

With a mix of things going on, the history given was of Jerusalem changing course. What was set-up at that time was that men from Greece set up colonnades around pools of water, for these men believed that “spirits” caused the bubbling of the water. The men called the pools after the Greek god Aesclepus.  The men built these regional healing centers offering mats, and many had covers which reminded me of a tent covering. As the Greek’s considered the offering of the bubbling waters, they built these shallow pools to drink water from and other areas were for bathing. In this the Greeks offered the participants chants, and fasting as a way to get their healing. So you have this man laying there all this time. There is a whole lot of chanting going on today in legislative meetings, executive meetings, church meetings and school board meetings too.  And the chant is for different and that which makes no sense at all.

So here in this area, have you seen someone waiting for the bubbles to appear in the water, his healing is not seen, so year after the year….you know like masks are still considered in few places and more vaccines are created to do what? And you must know vaccines are still expected even though you are vaxxed how many times? Yes, the pool is still there and the water bubbles will appear at some point for you to act on. How about the truth the pandemic is done but now fuel prices are up like in gas prices and heating your home for winter. And yes, food is up and medicine is up, and yes the division of this nation is up? How about where you live in this vast world: is there something being revealed to a "shriek" of a high price of some thing you require daily or need desperately as in medicine for a disease?

So like my husband stated after hearing this program on history of Israel and the passage that the man and those with him were held in such terror "were those who caused others to be paralyzed, to scare them to hide or to stay secluded, and were being tormented day in and day out for years!

Yes, Aesclepion, the Pool of Bethseda, was in Jerusalem in 1st century Jerusalem. An invalid who laid there for 38 years till Jesus appeared would be a talk of many who would give voice to in that day.of what appeared as a healing indeed.

In these 5 colonnades, Jesus walked in pagan territory! Have you recently walked in pagan territory? Have you walked where chants were given over to some dead guy who had slain many before he died himself and now is being hailed some kind of good guy, a hero of such things?

John 5: 8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed & walk.” 9 & immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, & walked. & that day was the Sabbath.

Yes, religion will hold many in laws made by man. They will rise to the occasion of pagan attitudes to hold people in terror, to do something which should not be done to another. They hold an anger that is comprised of hatred and murder! Come out of terror, torment and come to Jesus! Jesus is the Healer!

John 5:15 The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. 16 For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. 17 But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, & I have been working.”

Jesus the Peacemaker, was bringing peace to men and women held in terror and torment  in pagan areas. He, Jesus, is greater than any government or rule of man.

Yes, I learned a lot of what I saw and heard of the history. We must know the history of our own nation before it is changed for good to something bitter and of terror and torment. And that goes for any nation around the world. Lord, we thank YOU for TRUTH!

One True God

There is a program I try to catch daily, but because the time of it is during the morning , I have to record to watch at a more convenient time. I pay attention to prophets who give the last day prophesy and how it lines up with the Old Testament prophets and their prophecies! Especially today when you have the return of early gods from early Greece. You know the ones, like whom the disciples had to work the Gospel against after Jesus was crucified. For when Paul was imprisoned in Rome, he certainly saw to it that John the apostle and Mary, Jesus’ mother, would move into Ephesus to keep the church going.

Of late, I have heard that this program needs help to stay on the air! Seems like those who would hear have either chosen to vacate their lives for fun world for several weeks in the hot summer sun or else have chosen not to see the kingdom of God go further in touching lives for God’s glory. So they just hoard their money in that “safe” place to use for their next summer fun in the sun adventure!

Was reading about Paul in Ephesus. I loved the parts about him laying his cloths on individuals and seeing them healed for God’s glory. And this proved to be against those who did their magic and incantations in that region. Can you see Paul working and praying in tongues. Then when he has worked he goes out to give people the word of God, the kingdom has appeared and how people are healed in Jesus' name.

Ephesus was notorious for its magical arts and amulets of parchment with inscribed incantations, valued at enormous prices (50,000 pieces of silver), yet freely given up to the flame when their possessors received a living faith found in Acts 19:19 Also many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver.

With the evidence of what occurred in Ephesus, Paul writes to Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:13 “seducers (conjurors) shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.  2 Timothy 3: 13 But evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

So the very  "special miracles" which God wrought by the hands of Paul were exactly suited to conquer the magicians on their own ground: handkerchiefs and aprons from his body brought as a cure to the sick; evil spirits cast out by him; and when exorcists imitated him, the evil spirits turning on them and rending them.

EPHESUS was the capital of the Roman province “Asia” which included Mysia and Lydia. Ephesus supported a port in that region. This hub connected the great emporium of Asia with the interior. Ephesus was the place where John, Timothy and Mary the mother of Jesus were buried.

It was a proconsul or "deputy" that ruled Asia. We find that he is mentioned in Acts 19: on circuit, holding "the court days are (now being) kept." The "town clerk" had charge of the public records, opened state letters, and took notes of the proceedings in the assembly

Paul encountering those who worship Diana and Zeus, found that his reputation had spread throughout Asia thus making him a threat to the beliefs and lifestyle of many people. When Paul was here, the temple in Ephesus dated back to the eighth century B.C.  This temple was also considered one of the seven wonders of the world.

Acts 19: 26-29 NKJV 26 Moreover you see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but throughout almost all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away man people, saying that they are not gods which are made with hands. 27 For not only is  this trade of ours in danger of falling into disrepute, but also the temple of the great goddess Diana may be despised and her magnificent destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worship. 28 Now when they heard this, they were full of wrath and cried out, saying, “Great is Diana of the Ephesians!” 29 So the whole city was filled with confusion, and rushed into the theater with one accord, having sieved Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul’s travel companions.

Yes, a business recession occurred among the idol makers in Ephesus. The spiritual awakening in the city was widespread. Demetrius, a silversmith, was one of those seriously affected. He made silver shrines of Diana. Serving as a spokesman for the trade, it was Demetrius who would gather together all his fellow craftsmen and sought out to stir the people to take some resolute action against Paul. But Paul had been successful in persuading the people that there are no gods which are made with human hands. For Demetrius had revealed his real motive when he said their trade was in danger, he also colored it with religious tones pretending great reverence for Diana and her temple so business could continue as usual.

Other craftsmen or laborers were also noted who would lose their financial status with the gospel going forward. Acts 19:24-25 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Diana, brought no small profit to the craftsmen. 25 He called them together with the workers of similar occupation, and said: "men, you know that we have our prosperity by this trade."

So loudly this silversmith proclaims his rights. And the crowd is livid. But the “clerk” gave a speech at a crucial moment. As the city clerk succeeded in quieting the mob, he in effect told the Ephesians that they had nothing to fear. Everyone knew that the Ephesians were the guardians of the shrine of Diana. The “clerk” worked hard to pacify those who have such a fuss. And he reminded them of regular courts of law were open to them and with help proconsuls were ready to hear their charges should they have anything else to reveal. So order was commanded. The city clerk wanted the riot to quiet down so those in Rome would not hear of the complaints as he most certainly would lose his job should Rome heard about was going on.

Protection from the municipalities had occurred. Paul saw the opportunity change for Ephesus. He moved on to the next area. He would go to Macedonia.

Taking just a minute detail from Paul in Ephesus, reveals he proved dangerous to the enemy. Paul had a prayer for the people to have insight.  Ephesians 1:15-19  Amplified Bible 15 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints ( the people of God), 16  I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers. 17 For I always pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [ of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [ deep and intimate] knowledge of Him.  18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light; so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), 19 And [ so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength.  In Ephesians 3, he gave the apostle's prayer for power: Ephesians 3:14-21 NKJV 14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is name, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height---19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

So how much of His power really works in us, so that we can as Him do the impossible? That power is to complete something. It is an exertion. A power that enables us to accomplish that which He desires us to do for Him and His kingdom. It is cooperating with God and it works as we continue to take on His likeness and enter His kingdom. You cannot work if you are not connected with Him! God wants to counsel us and lead us by His Holy Spirit!

Paul had this available and he taught those in Ephesus of that power. For our strength is by the Holy Spirit. It is by faith and love in Christ’s indwelling that we keep future focused. This is for believers connected and God’s glory. As the believer we are called to responsibility in unity with diligence. Just like we saw those against God in unity, we are to grow in maturing as the body of Christ becoming the Bride Jesus will come for. It is untainted love, to shine as undimmed light bearers and to have on the new man. It is knowing the one true God, pursing His will and wisdom, to maintain the fullness of the Holy Spirit through worship and humility. Ephesians 5:18-21 NKJV 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God.

The “clerk” in Ephesus wanted to please the people in their hearing. He wanted to keep his job. But what if we want to reveal the kingdom of God instead? It is according to God’s order. And it is a call to spiritual warfare: the reality of the invisible conflict,  armor for the warrior and the action involved in that warfare. Paul used handkerchiefs and aprons from his body that brought a cure to the sick; evil spirits cast out by him; and when exorcists imitated him, the evil spirits turning on them and rending those broken and bruised.

As Paul was and so are we SEALED by the Holy Spirit authorized to represent Christ, He is also the REAVEALER of Christ, He is the one who enlightens hearts for God’s purpose and he Empowers us to go as Christ strengthens us from within. As the Spirit of unity, and holiness, He is the Giver of the Word as sword for battle and He is on duty even now. Let’s go in Jesus Name and see His kingdom flourish: One true God! Amen.

The Root to the Fruit

This being August 9, I was reading in the Book of Proverbs and this verse stood out from chapter 9! And then hearing the Lord speak, He said, it all comes to whether when rebuke is given if you will see the scoffer or the wise man stand up.

I could not get this out of my thinking. Are we rebuked today and the Lord sees a scoffer or if rebuked, did He then see the wise man? Hopefully the wise man stood today to hear God speak!

It is in seeing the root condition that matures to the fruit development. My husband and I have a small garden this year: tomatoes, banana peppers, yellow squash, zucchini and green onions round out that list. I did say it was small! And we check the conditions: like fertilizer, amount of sun and yes water to be applied. We keep check on the progression of these vegetables and see how fast or slow will they make it to our table indeed!

On reading Proverbs and now in recent weeks, gone back to reading Hebrews 12:12, I find I am speaking it not only for myself but for all believers, that our spiritual man would not take a dive this year as 2022 ends! Hebrews 12:12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down and the feeble knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. 14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord; 15 looking carefully lest any fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble and this many become defiled.

Do we know what is lame within us? Do we know our knees to be feeble and healing must take place in the time of prayer? Our hands should not be hanging down but in place to serve the living Christ! And are they raised in work for the Lord?

If we truly hear God and get His word in us, then anyone speaking will be recognized for who they are: either as the one abiding in the word of God or him abiding in the world. I heard a leader of this nation speak this morning, that if what they wanted was not law, that they would make it law to get their way! Seems that from the outhouse to the white house people are choosing their own way out and making laws to do it!

Actions certainly speak louder than words, but hopefully our actions are of the Christian conducting his life is such a manner as to possessing his own soul! Luke 21:16-19 NKJV You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. 17 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. 18 But not a hair of your head shall be lost. 19 By your patience possess your souls!

Now this Jesus gave about the period before the end. It was given to the Jews. In the crisis, or the crisis hour, God would give them, the Jew special wisdom to speak things that could completely confound their adversaries. In this Jesus also pointed to some would lose their lives but not perish. And those He specifies with that patience to possess their souls are those who stand genuinely true and loyal to Christ at any cost. The days are evil and are getting darker but we are to be brighter lights for His glory and to His praise. So in losing one's life is being with Jesus but those who perish are the rebellious who chose man's way of life!

In this day, people are wondering where God is bringing His people back to the forefront and to what the timing would be. For Christians, believers are to hold on and keep the thankful heart the Gospel that came to us! For this living now in this time will keep their eyes fixed on the Lord. They pay attention to the riches of Gentiles seen in Romans 11:12…referring to the place of privilege which the Gentiles enjoy the present time while Israel is temporarily set aside by God. God still has His eye on His favorite: Israel! The fullness of the Gentiles seen in Romans 11:25 is the time of the Rapture, when Christ’s Gentile bride will be completed and taken from the earth. It also is seen that God will resume His dealings with Israel. And the times of the Gentiles found in Luke 21:24. These times of the Gentiles actually began back in 521 B.C. It extends to the time when Gentile nations will longer assert control over the city of Jerusalem.

But what of the root to the fruit when words are passed around, and meanings are being changed to suit the one wanting to divert, divide and destroy others. We are significantly living in another time period, living in what are the last days or end times! Was giving a teaching recently on the Divine Warrior…yes Jesus, and two words that were within that teaching was that of men of the last days being insufferably conceited and abysmally ignorant at the same time. You can find that in the book of Romans. Romans 1:22 Professing to be wise, they became fools 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man----and birds and four footed animals and creeping things.

Rebukes can come from many sources, but the one to pay attention to first is that of the Lord. If He is directing us in His peace, and to lead others in that peace, we are to understand that many will not go into peace willingly. Jesus could lead people to His peace but whether they remained depended on their heart issues: like Judas Iscariot, Pontius Pilate and Herod! ( was hearing a teaching just today about Judas Iscariot and when he chose to deliberately take money and expose Jesus, he was taken over by an entity!)

You may not know these men by these names today but they will appear for the devil is trying to pull many to his way and doing wrong. Be aware, take heed, and hear the voice of the Lord. Take note to keep your hands strengthened to carry on the Lord’s work for He is coming soon. Stand as the wise today and look forward to the reward of victory. And take a look at the root to the fruit of your loyalty to Jesus. Is He your number 1 or is He at number 10 or 20 on your hot list!

If you are talking to God and telling Him you have this situation and you need to know what to do next, but only out of you and your own strength, then you have missed Him! We are confess our faith before Him that in Him we can know peace and the way in which to walk that continues in Him.   When People take things into their own hands they become like those in Sodom and Gomorrah. They look and sound like Korah who led rebellions against God’s anointed and appointed.

Expose the unfruitful works of darkness: Ephesians 5:8-14 NKJV 8 for you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth) 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret,  13 but all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says: 'Awake you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light."

It does not say “join them” but to expose them! What light is in you should be revealing the “rats” in others. What light is in you should prevail in light that is liberty in the Gospel of Christ! Abiding in His kingdom that has come into our hearts through His mercy and grace. To being the fruitful, we abide in His fruitfulness. We see glory. We see Him lighting our way into eternity! As the Bridegroom, He has made a state of peace and harmony with God who is for us! We are blessed through Him, not working our way into blessings. We have them now in Him! We reach out to Him, and expect to hear Him speak to us.

Take a look at your root and how does it appear! Will it produce the right fruit for the Lord’s glory or will it produce anxiety, fearful speaking, profanity, obscenity, idolatry, drug addiction, every opposer to truth. We are not held by the devil. We have been authority to prevail now in this lifetime. And it is abiding in Jesus, the fruit of heaven revealed on earth.

May we bring seed to be sown into hearts that will bear fruit for love. That it would be love for God, for the Lord Jesus Christ and our neighbor. We give thanks for this word that will not return to the Lord void, but it will accomplish where it is sent.  Today, we are filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding that we may walk worthy of Him being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of Him.  We submit to this word of the Lord: spirit, soul and body! We commit to change whatever corrections are required for life to live as a vessel of honor, sanctified and fitting for the Master’s use and prepared for every good work. We eat the good of the land because we are willing and obedient! Amen and Amen.
