Stockpiling in Stupid or Wisdom

I was reading the Passion Translation Proverbs 14:33 Wisdom soothes the heart of the one with living-understanding, but the heart of the fool just stockpiles stupidity.

People need healing, they need finances met, children taught righteous decrees and see the move of the Lord. We think of this time in the spiritual manner of God Who Hears. Many though say they are dreamers.
We too are dreamers.....all our lives for we have been seeing the magnificent displays in the sky of sun, moon and stars. The Milky Way and the many planets light up the sky at night.  We experience the shaking of the ground in movements of earthquakes. We see the spectacular whiteness of snow falling to earth and making everything it touches with a radiance.  This day is special indeed. We can live for Jesus, live in His wisdom and move away from foolish ways. To worship God is to be joyful in Him Who planned for us.

Do we want a handout or a hand-up? Do we ask for prayer in the wisdom of God? Do we know someone who prayed for us this day, last year and the year before that? We want the miraculous of God, but do we seek it? Do we count a cost of leaving foolishness behind to seek the Lord and be found with Him?  Many find themselves caught in the world's foolishness, sickness and disease. They  find leaders lift up the criminal in praise and persecute the righteous man to be placed in jail indeed.

The Lord told us that He prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies. Psalm 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil my cup runs over.

This not a champagne socialist program. It is Jesus. It is a Spiritual Kingdom. John 18:36 My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.

This world is alienated from God. It is opposed to Him as it is found in Satan's leadership.  John 6:15 Therefore when Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He departed again to the mountain by Himself alone.

Jesus went out to pray! John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. 16 And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me.

A righteous judgment is true. It is spiritual words of God that Jesus brought to us!  We can make our decisions based on foolishness and folly or the wisdom of God. No imaginary concerns, but true words of God are to be spoken for life now in this moment.  No sky is falling nor a black and cold winter is on the way. The world has hatred and we can see it being spit out daily by those who say they know the truth and give you that which is so twisted.

John 15:18-25 If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you/ 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you, "A servant is not greater than his master.' if they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will also keep yours also. 21 But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He who hates Me hates My Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. 25 But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, 'They hated Me without a cause.'

He took sin and it shred Him into many pieces. He died to take our sin and to bring life to us. It is time for Lazarus to come forth. It is time for that major project of God to come forth.  A crucified Jesus suffered the most horrendous death. He was beyond recognition of a man. He faced the foolish headlong and they tore Him apart. Death carried Him to Hades and then power was in form of a  significant one. Truth hit the falsehood and truth carried forth in that of God. Power loosed, Holy Spirit the spiritual indeed came forth. Are we stockpiling in foolishness as the fool or stockpiling in the wisdom of God? Holy Spirit is vital to our walk in this hour?

It is that place of His word in our hearts, praise on our lips, a willingness to share the goodness of God in the land of the  living.

I share this with you. for in the darkest hour of my life, I have spent the last 10 months in much pain and loss of my legs in use. I waited months for appointments and more treatments and listened to what a doctor practices in their office.  Certainly I have had use of some infusions and the nerve pain is much less. I have family who sent scriptures weekly, called to check on us and sent gifts of book and other indeed. But what I have learned from these, including Buffy, Mr. Mike and Meghan, we gain only through the word  and knowing Him. Seeking Him in the darkest night, and the most terrific pain, only reaching Him with my heart, and my praise on my lips I reached His ears. It reached the Father, wonderful counselor, Most High God. Prayer was heard.

Somebody prayed. One in despair, one in depression, one in sickness and disease....looks like someone prayed. And Jesus did when you read John 17. Thank Jesus for helping ME to see the miraculous this day. To take steps from the bedroom to the living more than once this day with His helping me and telling me to keep reaching. He wants me to keep going, to keeping walking and keep writing for His glory and to His praise. Yes, prayer works.

Somebody prayed and confessed truth: my husband indeed, and those closest to me. I took those steps and will continue to get stronger by His mighty hand. I still have an aid to use for walking, but the Lord said today is my day! He had been speaking it through my husband for the last two months. I pray the same for you, whoever you may be, that God has the miraculous in store for the wise, those seeking the wisdom of God. Salvation is today. It is a resurrection from the dead. But healing comes from those really seeking the miraculous of a mighty God, Prince of Peace, It comes in the valley of the shadow of death. It is a miracle touch of a loving Lord and Savior, Jesus! Amen and Amen.

Resurrection Day is today indeed!

Glory of God and the Dead

J
ohn 11:17-44……………...
17 So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. 18 Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. 19 And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. 20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house.

21 Then Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You." 23 Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again." 24 Martha said to Him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day." 25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" 27 She said to Him, "Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world."   NKJV

28 And when she had said these things, she went her way and secretly called Mary her sister, saying, "The Teacher has come and is calling for you." 29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly and came to Him. 30 Now Jesus had not yet come into the town, but was in the place where Martha met Him. 31 Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, "She is going to the tomb to weep there."

32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died." 33 Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. 34 And He said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to Him, "Lord, come and see." 35 Jesus wept. 36 Then the Jews said, "See how He loved him!" 37 And some of them said, "Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?"

38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39 Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."

40 Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?" 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying.

And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me." 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!" 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go."

A favorite passage of mine. It is a favorite of the power of Jesus revealing God's glory!

Seen in Mark 9:1-2: And He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power." Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them.

Jesus tells them they will see the Kingdom of God present with power, and within a week they see Him transfigured. His being revealed to them in glory was a demonstration of the power of God's Kingdom.

The Kingdom of God had come upon them. Jesus was and is the central figure. Taking it a step further.....where the King abides in any person, you or me, where a person is in Christ, the Kingdom is also present.

John records, "He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him" (John 1:11). Jesus stood  before His own and they knew Him not.

The gospel message was not popular. It bore fruit in those who were being called (Isaiah 55:11). Others hoped that the kingdom of Judah would be restored, and they were probably content to wait and watch this Man as He went about—as curiosity-seekers rather than opponents. However, for those who had a vested interest in maintaining the political and religious status quo, the gospel was seen as a threat, and those linked with the Kingdom of Jesus Christ were the object of all manner of resistance and persecution, both before and especially after His death. It holds true through this day and hour!

In verse 40 Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"

The power of Jesus in the Kingdom of God found in people willing to participate there. Odd, a cemetery....yet here Jesus told them to take away the stone from the place Lazarus, the dead man was lying.

Take away the stone....remove a stony heart from those still alive but lacking faith in the truth Jesus spoke!

And then Jesus spoke this:And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

He spoke in relationship to the Father. Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.  He spoke loudly so others could hear Him speaking to the Father of glory. Those who held positions of religiosity, those who held to know God but only held a world view, Jesus spoke loudly. He wanted people to hold faith in their hearts....He crying out.....with a loud voice....."Lazarus, come forth!"
And Lazarus came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes. He came forth. He, Jesus then spoke, " Loose him and let him go."

Those angry at this event of raising the "dead" would head into Jerusalem, and tell many what had happened. Heretics would run wild with loose lips about the Lord.  Jesus stayed in Bethany. He had time with Lazarus and then ultimately would Jesus make His way to Jerusalem.
Loose him and let him go. Loose him you spirit of death. Loose him....light and power of God's word was given....and power broke the bondage of death loose. The man Lazarus walked out!

Jesus gave these words in Matthew 23:13: "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in." Some were then in the process of entering the Kingdom, and the resistance and oppression of the scribes and Pharisees were obstacles to that entrance. John 9:22 records that "the Jews had agreed already that if anyone confessed that He was Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue." The scribes and Pharisees, as well as those influenced by them, persecuted those God was drawing into His Kingdom. There was such animosity that the King Himself suffered the most awful violence that has ever been perpetrated: a mob of creatures wantonly crucifying their sinless Creator.

1.   Today even nominal Christians suffer Muslim persecution in one part of the world, while others are blocked, ridiculed, and constrained by secularists and humanists in another. True Christianity is denounced as being heretical and cultic, and its adherents suffer violence in various ways. This violence does not have to be physical violence. It can be verbal. It can be passive. It can be persecution or opposition in any number of ways.

2.  College campuses are overflowing with those who choose the persecutors over the those who have chosen life in Jesus.

3.   Do we believe but are unwilling to accept His offer of life? John 5:40

Wherever the spirit of Satan is present, his children make the way difficult for those who are in Christ Jesus or those who are being drawn to Him. They reject the royal law of the Kingdom and ridicule God's sovereignty. They sneer at His inspired Word. The violence that the Kingdom suffers will vary by degrees, but it is found wherever the ruler of this world has influence. There will always be some Pharisees and Sadducess. There will be kings and leaders who bow to idols, but light is to shine in the darkness. And light shined that day outside of Bethany. Light came in with the presence of God, and the Lord spoke with glory.
Will we speak with glory? Times are changing. Those prepared are prayed up, have worded up and stand ready. They hear the quiet voice of God and declare loudly the word of God that sets captives free. Hear and Obey, the Lord is returning ......

The Mud Runner or Walking on Water

In preparing this the last few days, I spent reading Jesus' prayer in John 17. He prayed for those who would believe. And is our belief in Him or the stock market? Is our faith in Jesus or the world's songs, world's people, idols that carry no life nor breath in them, and do we follow that which is wrong indeed.

So today we choose: to be a believer and be mud runner or believe and walk on water. Thought of Moses and  Aaron who were sent.  Moses sent to speak to Pharaoh. But he felt he was no speaker and asked if Aaron could go with him to be the "speaker". . After they led Israel out from the Pharaoh of Egypt, they faced the Red Sea.  Fear striking on every nerve of each person, they are the consumed in anxiety!  Pharaoh's military was coming quickly from behind them. God told Moses to lift his staff and tell the people to cross. The waters divided and they walked over on dry land!

Later in the Old Testament,  Abram appeared. Told to leave his family behind and take his wife to the place God called them to live. And he went but he took some family members with him. Ultimately Abram's belief became the trust in God. He had to believe that God could change his name, he would have an heir and it would be God's design and not the flesh of man. Abram now called Abraham was known for His faith. He would be the "father" of many. But the idols had to be removed from him.

Reading on him, we find this in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Proverbs 19:21 There are many plans in a man's heart nevertheless the Lord's counsel that will stand.

In the New Testament, Jesus and John the Baptist came. John announced the coming of the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Jesus, the Man of prayer, gave us the example for our lives to be lived out.

Father to the Son, the Son to the Father….1.       Abiding:

John 15:5. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. NKJV

John 17:20-23……………..20 "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me 23  I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. NIV

 2.       As Children to abide:Matthew 18:1-5

18:1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" 2 Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.   NKJV

After Jesus, the Apostle Paul wrote 2/3 of New Testament and it was faith that was sent out to those who hear! He taught others to know Jesus by faith.

So we have examples of Abraham and Apostle Paul.  Like what Martin Luther King spoke in a speech in 1963: His desire was for his children to live by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. So many today get his message wrong. They want things their way. Some want God's people removed entirely so they can do away with the book of Revelation. Then prove God wrong and His book null.

Paul the Apostle brought greetings saying in verse 2 (Philippians) Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. in Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

In each of these people, they had to live by their faith in God! They showed us their real lives with real situations which can only be lived in His peace when relating in prayer and worship to Him our God. Without prayer we flounder. We should choose the treasure of His counsel rather the trash of world's way of drugs and more drugs.

Here prayer brings us to see spiritually things God has for us. It could be a new position in a job, getting a study in nursing when we never thought of it. We could be an inventor and invent things for God's glory!

Now let's look at the mud runner Elijah!1 Kings 18:41-46.......................41 Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain." 42 So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, 43 and said to his servant, "Go up now, look toward the sea." So he went up and looked, and said, "There is nothing." And seven times he said, "Go again." 44 Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, "There is a cloud, as small as a man's hand, rising out of the sea!" So he said, "Go up, say to Ahab, 'Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.' " 45 Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. 46 Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. NKJV

Elijah prayed for rain to begin. He kept watch and prayed......and the rain came. It came quickly and with the new moisture on the ground, mud appeared. It was everywhere!  The sky turned dark with clouds. The wind blew and heavy rain appeared.  So warned. King Ahab drove away riding in his chariot with two horses.  The hand of the Lord came upon Elijah and he girded his loins....he was ready to run.
A distance of 25 miles, Elijah ran in the mud! Hand of the Lord is Holy Spirit....revelation and light! Born again we have Holy Spirit.  We pray for rain but mud will appear. If we pray God's will, we can expect His ways!
By Faith he prayed and believed: "There is the sound of an abundance of rain."   Spiritually we know by revelation knowledge.

THE God of Love, who gave His only Son, gifted us to become the sons of God. It was by grace that we are saved. That has given us opportunity to express gratitude, to spend time with Him and to know the Creator of all things. He who gives such a life should be feared.

Jesus was ruled not by His flesh but by His spirit man. He gained strength in staying connected to His Father through the Word that brings truth and life to our mortal being. He chose the treasure of God and the assignment to the Cross.

You and I will not take the Cross Jesus did, but we will face situations especially in prayer, that knowing God is for us, rain will fall and mud will appear.   We can run through that rain and mud. We can run fast through any thing that tries to stop us.  Or we can choose to walk on the water of His word and see His kingdom come.

The sky is certainly getting darker and men's heart match this very thing too.  Jesus died and the ground shook. The curtain in the temple was split from the top to the bottom. Prayer works!

Who do people say that you are: for Jesus.....the Son of God, for Paul who trusted Jesus to his death, he was an apostle and not Pharisee as before, for Elijah, he went up in a fiery chariot up into the sky, Abraham is known today by his faith in God, his prayer for Lot and family when Sodom and Gomorrah would be destroyed. Moses place of burial is only known by God. John the Baptist had a rough end. But truth was found on his lips to the end!

We are those who have chosen the treasure of God, light and revelation in Jesus and power by Holy Spirit. We see His plan, abide in His glory and are seated in heavenly places with Jesus.

Hey, ask me I know the way to get there...........Amen!

Easy Life or Hard Life

How it is so easy to be brave in the easy day of life: no sickness, no disease, no pain, plenty of food and money with nice clothes on our back. But how about the hard day? Is it filled with courage or fainting? Just ask me! I could tell you when your body does not function like it did before, like the young adult, what is my bravery shaped by, or is it?  Is our focus on the Lord when the Doctor or doctors cannot see you till the seasons change? Do we focus on truth or just lies ?

Psalm 119:160 Passion Translation The sum total of all your words adds up to absolute truth, and every one of your righteous decrees is everlasting.

Bravery should reveal this: Psalm 119:162 Your promises are the source of my bubbling joy; the revelation of your word thrills me like one who has discovered hidden treasure.

Easy or hard: we are told to despise every lie and hate every falsehood, for I am passionate about keeping your precepts, I stop to praise you seven times a day, all because your ways are perfect.

So I ask you for your day of life: is it easy or hard? Is your job causing you a great headache? Is it you facing another day of pain or you set on running 10 or 20 miles to keep that weight down to normal? Or are we facing another test to our functioning as the "normal" adult?

Is this God's wonderful WORKS? Psalm 135 Passion Translation reminds us of this in verse 4 For Yahweh has chosen Jacob for his own purposes, and Israel is his special treasure. 5 Next to every other god, the greatness of our God is unequaled for our God is incomparable! 6 He does what he pleases with unlimited power and authority, extending  his greatness throughout the entire universe!

His power is unlimited power and authority and is seen throughout the entire universe. Sorry, doctor does not get the last word. Only truth  will suffice in this day of life in the Lord. Only truth is to shine and be revealed in us and through us. Psalm 135 reminds us that He will vindicate His persecuted people. Verse 15 the unbelieving nations worship what they make. They worship their wealth and their work. They idolize what they own and what they do. 16-18 Their possessions will never satisfy. Their lifeless and futile works cannot bring life to them!

Their things can't talk to them or answer their prayers. Blind men can only create blind things. Those deaf to God can only make a deaf image. Dead means one can only create dead idols. and everyone who trusts in these powerless, dead things will be just like what they worship-----powerless and dead!

That "seven" times we read about is also found in the book of Revelation and it means completeness. It means He will complete His word of faith you know and hold in your heart.

The desert of dust in the eyes, the heat of another decision we face hoping to choose righteously is found among those Psalm 1 speaks. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands  in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.

I have not seen the fullness of His truth in me, but I continue to confess by faith He is for me. I may not stand where I did before, but I stand today with bravery because I keep Him close. I keep His truth in my heart.

I pray what you may face in your day of life: God is for you and will fulfill His promises in you. He is returning soon and may you and I be counted among the consistently righteous! Amen.
