That Melting Point in Each of Us

Seriously, been reading some specifics in Jude and in Titus but was directed by Holy Spirit to write about this instead. We were on our way to the city to a local grocer there. While on the trip there, I was telling my husband of the word I had heard this morning. It was about that temptation or test. Is the temptation driving you and I further from God or is the test from God? God will not tempt us with sin. But any weakness in us might lead us further from God.

What weakness might we see in the passages of the Bible? In thinking of Elijah, he stood against 450 false prophets of Queen Jezebel. He built an altar to worship God and filled it with those things needed to make the sacrifice.

1 Kings 18:7-40

7 Now as Obadiah was on his way, suddenly Elijah met him; and he recognized him, and fell on his face, and said, "Is that you, my lord Elijah?" 8 And he answered him, "It is I. Go, tell your master, 'Elijah is here.' " 9 So he said, "How have I sinned, that you are delivering your servant into the hand of Ahab, to kill me? 10 As the LORD your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my master has not sent someone to hunt for you; and when they said, 'He is not here,' he took an oath from the kingdom or nation that they could not find you. 11 And now you say, 'Go, tell your master, "Elijah is here" '! 12 And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from you, that the Spirit of the LORD will carry you to a place I do not know; so when I go and tell Ahab, and he cannot find you, he will kill me. But I your servant have feared the LORD from my youth. 13 Was it not reported to my lord what I did when Jezebel killed the prophets of the LORD, how I hid one hundred men of the LORD's prophets, fifty to a cave, and fed them with bread and water? 14 And now you say, 'Go, tell your master, "Elijah is here." ' He will kill me!" 15 Then Elijah said, "As the LORD of hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will surely present myself to him today." 16 So Obadiah went to meet Ahab, and told him; and Ahab went to meet Elijah.

17 Then it happened, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said to him, "Is that you, O troubler of Israel?"

18 And he answered, "I have not troubled Israel, but you and your father's house have, in that you have forsaken the commandments of the LORD and you have followed the Baals. 19 Now therefore, send and gather all Israel to me on Mount Carmel, the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel's table."

20 So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel. 21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, "How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him." But the people answered him not a word. 22 Then Elijah said to the people, "I alone am left a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men.

23 Therefore let them give us two bulls; and let them choose one bull for themselves, cut it in pieces, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it; and I will prepare the other bull, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it. 24 Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD; and the God who answers by fire, He is God." So all the people answered and said, "It is well spoken."

25 Now Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, "Choose one bull for yourselves and prepare it first, for you are many; and call on the name of your god, but put no fire under it." 26 So they took the bull which was given them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying, "O Baal, hear us!" But there was no voice; no one answered. And they leaped about the altar which they had made. 27 And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, "Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened." 28 So they cried aloud, and cut themselves, as was their custom, with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them. 29 And when midday was past, they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice. But there was no voice; no one answered, no one paid attention.

30 Then Elijah said to all the people, "Come near to me." So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down. 31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD had come, saying, "Israel shall be your name."

32 Then with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD; and he made a trench around the altar large enough to hold two seahs of seed. 33 And he put the wood in order, cut the bull in pieces, and laid it on the wood, and said, "Fill four waterpots with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice and on the wood." 34 Then he said, "Do it a second time," and they did it a second time; and he said, "Do it a third time," and they did it a third time. 35 So the water ran all around the altar; and he also filled the trench with water. 36 And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, "LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word. 37 Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that You are the LORD God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again." 38 Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench.

HE BUILT AN ALTAR TO WORSHIP GOD!

39 Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, "The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!" 40 And Elijah said to them, "Seize the prophets of Baal! Do not let one of them escape!" So they seized them; and Elijah brought them down to the Brook Kishon and executed them there. NKJV

Sound of Abundance….1 Kings 18:41-46………………41 Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain." 42 So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, 43 and said to his servant, "Go up now, look toward the sea." So he went up and looked, and said, "There is nothing." And seven times he said, "Go again." 44 Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, "There is a cloud, as small as a man's hand, rising out of the sea!" So he said, "Go up, say to Ahab, 'Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.' " 45 Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. 46 Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. NKJV

ELIJAH SPOKE: I hear the sound of the abundance of rain:    my ears HAVE HEARD GOD’S HEART……GOD’S SPIRIT TO HIS SPIRIT MAN.……Sound = vibrations…….

My SPIRITUAL ear has picked up the vibration of something that is coming.
I can't see it, I can't touch it, I CANNOT feel it…….. IT IS on the way!

The altar is the place of: self-sacrifice, self-denial, self-nullification

It costs blood, sweat, tears…….

And then he runs down to tell King Ahab that it was time to leave for the city..........Elijah runs along side the king who rode in his chariot with horses. In this race to the city, Elijah the prophet gets there first. And he hears Jezebel . He hears what a woman speak that she will kill him.

When Faith is Exhausted: Elijah had performed one of the most famous miracles in the Old Testament by calling down fire from Heaven to prove that Yahweh, the God of Israel the One True God.  He brought the false prophets down to be executed. He prays for rain. Runs a race with a chariot with horses and yet when he gets to the big city, he hits a melting point. Where is his faith????

1 Kings 19:1 And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword. 2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah , saying, "So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.

Here he leaves the city and Jezebel. And in choosing to hide in a cave, he will wallow in that self-pity.  He found that weak place in him. Like many us face when spending time with wrong folks, their weaknesses can fill our places and pull us toward that wrong place. BUT faith must fill our hearts. Faith of the word should fill that weakness to make us strong.

He Finds the Hiding Place: The Cave and lodged in it. And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, and He said to him, 'What are you doing here, Elijah?' He said, 'I have been very jealous for the Lord, the God of hosts. For the people of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, thrown down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword, and I, even I only, am left, and they seek my life, to take it away.' And He said, "Go out and stand on the mount before the Lord." And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire the sound of a low whisper. And when Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave.

In his run of weakness of hearing a woman's plans for him, he finds a worse situation. He thinks of his courage in the beginning. Then he speaks as to him being the only prophet left.  He finds himself in a wind storm, then a strong earthquake appears and then a fire. And yet God was there all the time.

What weakness is in us? What melting point is in each of us? I like you can ask in prayer and believe to receive, but we also must have a faith built against that flesh excess! Like one has to do with gluttony. When I sit down to eat, I consider what is before me. I am not given to the desire of dainties or deceitful foods. Proverbs 23:1-3...that also means the flesh creature!!!

WE are not to spend the rest of our natural life living by our human appetites and desires. WE are to live for that which pleases God! We are to resist temptation in the name of Jesus! We strip off and throw aside every encumbrance---unnecessary weight---and this gluttony which so readily tries to cling to and entangle us. We are to run with patient endurance and steady persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before you and me. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.

Another case in point is the wife of Elkanah. Hannah spoke this about God in 1 Samuel 2:2 “There is none more holy like the Lord, there is none besides You, there is no Rock like our God.

Hannah was speaking of His divinity not to a characteristic of God.

She faced a hard road. Her husband had another wife, younger who gave him children and she Hannah was barren. Year by year, she, Hannah went up to the house of the LORD, and she Peninnah provoked her. It was such harassment that Hannah could not eat. ( 1 Samuel  1:7) Hannah went and Hannah prayed. And she in time brought forth a son Samuel. She remained firm in faith. She worshiped the Lord and He remembered her. In remembering her, is bringing forth her purpose for life.

We can face hard times, gluttony like too much food, drink or fleshly things. But faith should replace those things in our lives. Jesus asked if faith will be found on the earth? Luke 18:8

The deeper our faith is in the Lord, the greater we are encouraged to walk in places like Charlie Kirk did. For some us, we have walked in Jail Ministry and that which is found in the Mission places of cities. And those places we give truth and no lies. No fire will rain down from heaven like in the days of Elijah, but truth will bring up those border lines within us where truth prevails.

Are we melting in this environment of societal dismantling? It was one husband ( a man ) for one woman. They would raise their children not in an hostile environment. If there was a rebellious attitude then, that would be stopped immediately. Today people viewing God's ways as unimportant run as a mob to start violence with rocks, fire and fists.

But in looking at the heavenly military might, or host, we find order. And each of us must be in order with God. Putting on our military garb, we pull into us the word of God for faith that changes things. Jesus will return but until that time. we have asteroids spinning towards earth. We have those who are choosing divergence among that Covid thing. We see more insects infecting people and more people taking  others lives.

Those leaving Egypt came out with Moses leading. When he went up the mount to get the Ten Commandments, they thought he had abandoned them. They did not wait for him but chose Aaron to make for them a Golden Calf.  They set out all the jewelry they had collected from the Egyptians. They worshiped the Golden Calf and did their dance. They had a new leader in their Golden Calf. This idol they loved. And today we have those who choose not the 10 Commandments but the Golden Calf. They choose to eat what the cow eats. They chow down on cookies made from cannabis and expect what?  They plant their marijuana with corn. Harvest comes and for some,  will they experience that kind of psychosis! Sad the slippery slope is evident. In our ways, our own gluttony we fail miserably but in the Lord we soar with eagles. In Jesus we know Him: the way, the truth and life.

No melting please. We need you now to stand in freedom and represent the Lord on high! Lets pray and keep the faith dealt to us. It is truly a gift of God.
Amen.

Compassion for the Suffering Multitudes

The Bible gives passages of the kingdom of God being established on earth.  Malachi 3:1 " Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way before Me, and the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," says the LORD of hosts.

Matthew 4:23  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

Mark 1:14-15 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."

Gospel to be preached around the world: Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

There is only the one Gospel. Jesus was sent by the Father to deliver compassion to the suffering multitudes. It was the Apostle Paul who warned us about receiving any other gospel.

In Jude 3 we are to contend for the original! Jude 3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

Jesus taught through Parables. He relayed His kingdom on earth. Opening up the passages of the Bible, we are no longer ignorant of God’s truth. In Mark 4: 21 Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lamp-stand? 22 For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.23 if anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.  24 “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you  who hear, more will be given. 25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

Heed what you have heard. Heed the supernatural of God and yourself as a spiritual being understanding your Fathers thoughts and ways. Believe!

Why would anyone want to twist the kingdom of God?  1 Timothy 4:1 (NIV) The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

Jesus  reached people with the kingdom that had come. The Gospel as Mark underscored in his writing, was the need for faith in the person. The message they received and the power of Jesus present to help those in need as in Mark 4:40 and Mark 5:34-36.  Jesus was One, but many others would follow with willing hearts to see God’s kingdom come to those in extreme need.

A concise history of redemption is accomplished through the atoning work of Christ. His authority emphasized as He taught and His authority over Satan and unclean spirits we could look at here as to that which involves nature, Mark 4: 35 through Mark 6:45-52.

We have one in recent days to leave us much to soon. He a follower of Jesus Christ was cut down in his young years. He was cut down because someone else's belief was totally in something else. What twists our thinking? We are told from 1 Timothy 4:1 of deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. This nation has certainly got off the tracks of truth. Schools and colleges are teaching their own ways which are humanistic. They teach doctrines of demons. But we must endure knowing the word of truth. We must endure to follow Jesus indeed!

Do we tell the truth of a life change in us or do we shoot someone down by the hate in one's heart? We are to be open about Jesus. We are to spread His great news to all! Charlie Kirk was one who went out and did that for decades. He spread the truth of the love of God. He gave people a voice to speak but also gave the truth of the Kingdom of God. Compassion comes in many packages of people. It is a gift from the Father when love is shown and expressed. It is not patting a wrist to speak that is okay, you can go ahead and be you! WRONG! We are created in the image of God. We are created for good and not evil. But we must choose the good in God and not the evil of this world.

Those of the world spoke the last few days. They revealed in their laughter of the dislike they had for Charlie. They gave some time of life in either video or texting in the form of some social media. But those who saw Charlie, knew of his call by God and also a sent one. Yes, he is gone. He is a martyr for God. He left others in conversation of which he started.. As the young man of God, he will always be known as the man of faith. The person created in God's image, a Patriot of this nation, a provider of truth and open to conversation.`

Deceit and Deception are examples in the Bible:

Proverbs 12:5 The plans of the righteous are just, but the advice of the wicked is deceitful.

Proverbs 12: 17An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies.

Proverbs 12:20 Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but counselors of peace have joy.

Romans 3:13 Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.”“The poison of vipers is on their lips.”

Romans 16:18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.

God's truth is like light, not leaven, and it must not be hidden.

Charlie was not hidden nor was Jesus Christ our Savior!  Light dispels darkness. Advice of the wicked is listed as deceitful in Proverbs 12:5. In Proverbs 12:17 we see that a false witness tells lies. And deceit is found in the heart of those who devise evil seen in Proverbs 12:20. It appears that naïve people are deceived easily from their belly. They receive that “smooth talk” and flattery that deceives. Yes, those filling their bellies with flattery find they have no footing in the truth of the Lord!

Let us stand for truth! Let us know what God reveals in His word. For we are to be lights in this dark world. Jesus was crucified  and was seated afterward with the Father. Charlie losing his life in this world gained the light of compassion in the kingdom of God.  Amen.

Revealed in the days ahead will be either light or darkness. Revealed will be hearts for flesh or for God. Surely this world is convulsing in the upheaval of sin. Those as sons of God continue in truth of God. As Jesus spoke from the cross, He revealed His heart for the man who hung with Him on that hill. He spoke to John to keep Mary as his mother. Jesus continued in compassion to speak light as He hung dying that day. And what will you do with this word?

The Spiritual Mannequin

What is and where would we see the spiritual mannequin? We should be people of the kingdom of Jesus He is King of and leads us daily. But mannequins are shaped in a form to smile lots and make no movements of their own. They should be those who are faith people, filled with God's word and on fire for His glory and to His praise.

Matthew 11: 19-19 For John came neither eating nor drinking and they say, 'He has a demon.' 19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking and they say, 'Look a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of the tax collectors and sinners!' But wisdom is justified by her children.

Unbelief will not respond to truth! John the Baptist was and is the one who spoke of Jesus' coming. And Jesus demonstrated the faith walk with every word He spoke! They spoke wisdom of God. They regarded truth the priority. So where does that leave us today?

What are the children of wisdom? We would know them as those who have good works and good fruit. They who would be wise or the foolish would be seen and know by the fruit they bear. In this, their work accomplished or life lived it out in truth would bear it out!

In this day and hour we should control our desires as any excess over what God spoke.  Do we have that flesh gluttony? For losing control of oneself in this excess is sin! It is truly feeding the belly, that little god of excess. And it is bad when running to it eagerly to participate in it. God's wisdom is available for us to live by. But do we do it? Do we speak it and believe it to be His truth?

Today we have people tending toward joining this culture thing or that culture thing. They want people to hear them, but most of the time they give voice to the wrong thing. Any platform should be made available to Jesus and truth He spoke! The people Jesus spoke to, had a meal with, did not drag Him into their culture thing. He gave them choice of His truth against their sin! He spoke to their hurt and pain.

Sin today is so rampant, even among church goers! People should not be relying on drugs to tone down their pain, emotional distraught or recreational joy ride. They should want Jesus' words to penetrate their hearing for healing! On the Cross, Jesus had two men beside Him. One spoke against Jesus and the other regarded Jesus: Luke 23:39-43 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us." 40 But the other answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God seeing you are under the same condemnation?" 41 " And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but his Man has done nothing wrong." 42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." 43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

Paradise is the blissful place of fellowship with God. Now, today, is the time to worship, give God place in us.....it is not a mannequin, but a person who reads the Word of God, prays and gives place to praying in  Tongues, and songs to glorify God. It is done with others and is done alone. When you find a dark place, a bad report from a doctor, a loved one has passed, others moved away, and now you find another dark place. Yet, Jesus is for us when He hears us cry out to Him. It is a rallying cry, not boots on the ground, but sound words of truth declaring Jesus is Lord.

No cowboy hats, and white boots to the thigh, no it is not a culture but a place, a living maybe in some weakness and some strength, maybe fatigued, maybe with less interest in life, but get a spark of life from Jesus today. Find yourself in Him, hearing His sweet voice and learning your body should obey His every command.

The disciples did not want Jesus to leave them. Judas Iscariot wanted a King so he was paid 30 pieces of silver  to betray Jesus. What gluttony betrays us today? What flesh excess needs to be cut off right now? Peter thought he would never betray Jesus, but he did! We are not mannequins. We are to always exercise and discipline ourselves, bringing under authority our canal affections, those bodily appetites and any worldly desires we would have. We should endeavor to in all respects to have a clean conscience, voice of offense toward Father God and toward men. We should keep ourselves from idols. Those representing culture will find many "gods" while continuing to be themselves in sin!

What occupies our hearts? To be spiritual is to be Holy Spirit minded.  It is asking Him to give the fruit of our lips that draws thanksgiving from our innermost resources, that secret place of our heart.  Humility and fear of God brings wealth and honor and life to us. To be clothed is clothed in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Yes, I will ask if you are for your family, community and nation. Do YOU pray for them all? If not, then why not? Do you follow all rules of this land or not? Unfortunately we have many from other nations who choose to flaunt their language and flag in this nation. If you love your old flag and tongue, by all means go back to that which you love. The Lord gave us a place to voice His name, His faith, His kingdom and His way of life. It is is being aware of what is falling apart in this nation.

What will it be?

This day, I went with my husband to grocery store. Had stayed in vehicle to keep it cool for our little dog who was with us. The place was busy, watched vehicles drive by. I then saw a man walking in middle of street toward our parking space. He stayed in the opposite lane, but stopped for a moment. He stopped in front of an Auto Parts Store. Then looking in my direction, he started screaming, that yelling at the top of his lungs. I first thought he was talking to someone behind our vehicle, but there was none. I looked once at him, when he crossed intersection toward us. Although staying in the opposite lane, he proceeded to yell and curse. He pointed and waved his hands and arms....lifting them toward the sky. He stopped opposite our vehicle, but continued with his explosive language. People driving by watched him in his bodily anger. He started walking again. I did not watch him. But could see him walking waving wild arms and yelling loudly. He continued that till he got to end of mini strip mall. Then he was gone. Alas it was quiet again!

I told my husband about it. And when I finished immediately I knew Holy Spirit was showing me Jesus at the Tombs. The demoniac was yelling at Jesus, and the man who knew Jesus would fall to worship Him but the demon would have "the man" yell at Him.  Yes, it got quiet when the man left that parking lot in the city today. But he was loud when Holy Spirit was close by. Interesting truth I was reading in the book of Titus when he started to cross into our parking area.

Call it what you will, but truth will call out! It is not drugs, it is not a plastic smile, and unbelief. No we must be on the alert for Jesus. Be on the alert when someone passes by us and with a not to happy platform. We pray for him who chose loud behavior, to be rude with anger that others could hear. May he know Jesus as we know Jesus. May Holy Spirit enlighten this man to truth today.

Things are happening all around us: 28 plus earthquakes in Nevada. flows of liquid from Yellowstone Lava Lake, a large asteroid is entering our solar system first of October. I think it comes by Mars on October 3. Hey, if it misses Mars, it might miss us too! And the bad things occurring to rabbits and deer. Those with tentacles coming out of their heads, chest and backs. Yikes! Something is happening guys. Put away culture and seek truth in our Lord now!

Indifferent as to being the Arrogant

Laodicea was labeled the carnal church. Neither hot nor cold, spiritually in that realm God finds a tepidness as to being unappealing. The warnings are for slackness and to conquer any sin in their lives if listed that way. He is returning and will come to Judge!

The Lukewarm Church at Laodecia: Revelation 3:15-22 NKJV “ I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold nor hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm & neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 “Because you say, I am rich, having become wealthy, & have need of nothing--& do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, & naked---18 “I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich & white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; & anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke & chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 “Behold, I stand at the door & knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, ‘I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame & sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

A question: Are we just indifferent to what is going on around us?  Lukewarm water is nauseating. The world wants you to lead us down a spiral of death. I am always amazed how many want to lead you with "boots on the ground". Now if you cannot sing, then praise Jesus. If you cannot dance, then dance for Jesus. If you cannot write an encouragement to others, then pray for them. Pray to reach those who require Jesus in this hour of need.

The Original comes from heaven.  The Actual Substance of Him is the anointing by faith. But those of the culture of this world spread their ideas through the empty traditions of human beings and the empty superstition of spirit beings, but that is not the way of Christ. Everything of God is expressed in Him, so you & I  can see and hear HIM clearly. You do not need a telescope, a microscope or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ & the emptiness of the universe without him. God needs the faithful hearer of Him not a sometime hearer and sometime doer.

Straight forward talk with God is His wisdom.   Psalm 85:8-13 Amplified Bible…I will listen [with expectancy] to what God the Lord will say, for He will speak peace to His people, to His saints (to those who are in right standing with Him) but let them not turn back to(self-confident) folly. 9 Surely His salvation is near to those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him [and is ready to appropriate] that [the manifest presence of God, His] glory may tabernacle and abide in our land.  The only tent or tabernacle is you and me…

We have the Holy Spirit who abides in us! If sin occurs then He is steadfast by giving correction but the unfaithful will move away. It is finding where one resides if they choose worldly ways.

We are not to compromise: a group who wants to change God and His word will compromise your integrity of faith……….. Romans 6:16-20 …NKJV…..16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. The churches of Christ greet you. 17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions & offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, & avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. 19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, & simple concerning evil. ( evil speaking going on )20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

1.   1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God.  I speak this to your shame.

2.   Here Paul quotes from a third century B.C. writer from Athens Menander. To show that our lives are influenced by what we believe with whom we are associate.

Righteousness is related to salvation, forgiveness of sin, & eternal life…See in Romans 1:16-17 NKJV For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.; Romans 6:23; Romans 8:1-2; Romans 10:1

The righteousness of God is exhibited (lived out and seen) in the believer’s life…Please see in Romans 6:15-16 NKJV  What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slave whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness.

In Christ, we are given a new position which is defined and motivated to practice. In unity with Him in His death and resurrection, we know Christ is made into what God requires.  The Lord wants the church to repent and turn. He wants them to be zealous for Him and His kingdom which is coming.

Fellowship is an ongoing thing. Fellowship with Him is our responsibility. Is our life conformed to the word of God? Do people hear Jesus speak through us or is it something else?

Heard this guy speaking that in one act of culture, he now has an extra five thousand followers on his Instagram. I want you to read this, but I desire you follow Him who gives you life. I cannot give you life but I can encourage you to follow Jesus, hear Him speak His wisdom to guide you to the kingdom of God.

Jesus was obedient to His Father to the end, and his final word before his death on the Cross was a prayer to His Father. The relationship of Jesus to the Father is given in John 3:16 “ For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus declared, “The Father and I are one.” John 10:30

Jesus declared: John 14:10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me?” The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

He had a return ticket: "I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father" John 16:28

Jesus fulfills His own mission and that of His Father on the Cross! He directs His final word, “Father, into Your hands I commend My spirit. Luke 23:46

"Now when the centurion saw what had taken place, he praised God and said, "Certainly this was a righteous Man" (Luke 23:47).

This church, Laodecia, is one written about as those being indifferent, to being the arrogant, those only lukewarm. Do we speak like Jesus spoke from the Cross? Do our lives imitate His life on earth?

I had warned a few of the readers of this blog to be watchful for vultures gathering, for scripture tells us that they will come together for that "BIG" banquet of men and women left behind in their boots on the ground. I told Mr. Mike we had two vultures in this area for about 5 years. This year in January we had three circling. This week, the last week of August we have 8 vultures circling. Oh my! So let me know Candace, Buffy and Betty if you see many circling vultures! (Matthew 24:28) We are closer to Jesus' return, and we should be ready to go in the righteous kingdom of God.

How many vultures circle your city? Pay attention to the skies! They know He is coming soon! Amen.
